I ordered a sweater in mid December. The delivery date was December 27th. I was informed that once it left the warehouse I would get an email. I never received an email so I called around December 27th. I was told it should be there soon. I called On December 30th and asked why I hadn’t received an email. Seems like it has never left the warehouse. I was told that my order probably went out but they are just behind in sending the emails. I pressed further and was told that she would personally go to the warehouse and get the information on my order and send me an email with my tracking number so that I could track it. That was 4 days ago; there is no email, no tracking number and since the sweater is no longer featured on the website I’m worried that I won’t be getting the sweater I ordered. It seems that whenever you call customer service you get the answer that is most likely to get you off the phone. I know it is the holiday season and people are slammed and I can give plenty of grace for that; but the lying or at least way over-promising and under-delivering is hard to stomach. People want the truth and will continue to do business with you if you are up front with them. But they won’t do repeat business with a company that can’t deliver. Easy concept. I will be updating. Update: it is January 8th and of course I never received either e-mail. I’m a dreamer though and am hoping that my order will turn up and I can at least say that it’s a great product, but I can’t understand how any company could allow their Customer Service department to destroy their reputation like this. Hire me and I will turn it around in weeks! I will continue to update. UPDATE: I finally received the sweater late on Jan. 15th. The sweater itself is great, fits nicely and is as-promised. However, I am not sure I would order again from them as the customer service and business logistics is as poor as a retail store can get. I never received the e-mail from the lady that was going to personally go to the warehouse and email as to when my sweater left. The answer of course was that it didn’t until about January 13th. If I were going to order again I definitely wouldn’t do it in November or December. Seems like a little training would go a long way toward making people satisfied with a good product.

Like so many, many, many customers ordering on-line with this company I made a November 27th order with the Irish Store for clothing and jewelry and was provided a December 4th estimated delivery time. Paid the $20 shipping charge to expedite delivery and was provided a shipping date of December 1st with a tracking number. After daily checks with the provided tracking number there have been no updates since the December 1st date and today is December 24th with still no delivery. Contacted Customer Service on December 10th with concerns on the tracking number updates and was informed to "rest assured that your delivery will be there by Christmas". Don't think that is happening since the tracking number indicates my package is still in Ireland. Incredibly disappointed with this company. Gifts under the tree will be solely lacking because I trusted their reassurances. NEVER AGAIN! I have requested a full credit card reimbursement and if the parcel ever does arrive it will be shipped back to them as I no longer want anything to do with this company. All the corporate advertising propaganda states how committed their company owner and founder - Lulu O'Sullivan - is to customer service. Well Lulu you should take a long hard look at your company delivery performance or possibly investigate selling to Amazon! Even in these trying times Amazon is still able to get deliveries to global customers within a week. I will not hold my breath on any type of satisfactory response!1 Merry Christmas Lulu and the Irish Store!

Horrible customer service! Made order at end of December, so not trying to get it by Christmas. I received my order confirmation and they got payment from my PayPal within hours. Still have not received any shipping email. They don't respond to emails sent. Filled out online contact form and no response. Was hung up on by first person. Second person indicated no update and that they were forwarding my order for investigation on shipping status and I would hear back. Still no response and hung up on again when called today. Now have to mess with PayPal and my credit card to cancel the payment and get a refund as I can't get any answers from The Irish Store. Very disappointing!!! Based on their websites listed shipping estimates my items should have arrived but they hadn't even shipped them or updated anything. In addition, the items are all ordered are still listed as in stock and ships immediately. Don't order from them!!! I won't be shopping from them again!!!

sweater coats and had been looking to purchase one when I came across the Irish Store. I was amazed at what I found; so much I've ordered three separate Aran sweater coats from them. The coats have been well worth the money I spent. I expected the price to be higher and the shipping costs enormous for what I wanted and where it was coming from. The price was fair and the shipping costs listed were not out of line. The quality of these sweaters is impeccable, the sizing is true, and the colors are vibrant. I received the sweaters quickly and shipping was waved with my orders but through coupons I used. I'm very impressed with the customer service as they've reached out to me several times to make sure I was satisfied with their product. I'm looking to purchase another garment and will do so soon.

I have bought multiple sweaters and blankets from The Irish store online. for both myself and family members. Every one is beautiful and of excellent quality. The sizes are true and the colors match what is seen on-line. We often receive compliments when we wear them and I always let people know where they can buy them easily online. The shipping comes within a couple of weeks - and I've never had an issue. This time I received a lovely tree of life pendant that I plan to give to my sister-in-law for her birthday. I am a big fan of Irish knits and we have 3 gorgeous wool blankets that keep us warm and are not scratchy. Looking forward to my next order because they always have new products added to the site all the time.

I love this store, wool garments are hard to find in the USA where plastic / poly is clothing are cheap and prevalent. But nothing is better than wool to keep you warm. The sweaters were very nice and elegant. True you have to be a little careful with them when it comes to washing but it is worth the effort. My only regret is the limited sizing I want some in XXXL but all they have is XXL which while it fits is not how I like my sweaters. I do recommend them without reservation. (Shipping is a little slow and somewhat expensive (flat fee $35) if you buy just 1 item but buying a season's worth 3 or 4 sweaters for the family is great value now $35 shipping makes sense)

Amazing customer service and fabulous product! I bought the decanter set for my dad as a “Father of the Bride” gift for my wedding! It was engraved and had our wedding date too! He commented on how nice and heavy it was and he is a man of few words! He’s loves it so much he has it displayed in his office. I will say they package it very well too!!! When getting through customs they destroyed the packaging and I can tell they were looking at the decanter (I guess making sure it didn’t have alcohol in it) and put green tape to put everything back together! This store packaged it so well it did even have a scratch! I will be buying from here again!

I ordered two jumpers from the Irish Store and they are beautiful. It's nice to have something made in Ireland in my wardrobe. The quality and design are excellent; I had to import these from Ireland (I'm UK-based) because I could not find styles I liked locally. If you're in the UK like me then be mindful that post-Brexit chaos may seriously delay delivery. The Irish Store can and will do everything right (including good customer support) but they have no more control over postal services and customs than the rest of us. That all said, if you want lovely authentic Irish goods that you cannot source locally then it's a great place to look.

Order placed on November 30th for Christmas delivery. Jewelry and clothing for my wife and daughter. Initial delivery was scheduled for December 5th. It’s now Christmas Eve and still no package. Custom service is a joke and my issue has been escalated to the “back office” for assistance. Multiple emails and phone calls with zero resolution. Ironically the marketing emails I got up to the 21st stated I could still get guaranteed Christmas delivery with. New order. All I can say is if your brave enough to do business here allow 90 days to ensure you get what you pay for. After my experience not a single dime will be spent at The Irish Store.

Wow what a company to do business with!!! At Christmas I ordered ten Aran sweaters for my wife, daughters and daughter in laws. I was so happy with the service and the highest of quality of sweaters. In January I purchased two more sweaters for myself. Great sweaters! However one sweater size was packaged wrong. I was promptly sent a new sweater with an apology. And then I was sent a gift box with delicious cookies, chocolates, coffee and teas! The Irish Store sells some of the most quality handmade products I have ever had the privilege to enjoy. I bought a cloak for myself and a claddagh for my mother and both items have held up wonderfully during the harsh Colorado winter winds. We both like to hike outside with our German Shepherds and we were toasty all season long! When we get a bit of fur on our wool we just hang them out in the wind on a hanger and it takes care of everything. I look forward to my next purchase here. It is rare for a business to have such integrity and pride in their product, but this is one of the good ones!

Thuis is an amazing store, with all your Irish needs and wants, and the BEST customer service ever! I recently purchased a cable shawl collar sweater for my husband. It was exactly as pictured, the quality was above par and the fit and color were perfect. We did have an issue with my husband being an asthmatic, so needed to return it, which was ezzy-pezzy! The Customer Support department provided excellent and prompt responses to my emails, and provided a pre-paid, return label to boot. I have been ordering from the Irish store for years. The quality of the products have always been 5/5 stars. The only time an incorrect item was sent (A hat one size larger) the customer service was fantastic and had the correct hat shipped immediately. Most recently I was able to purchase 6 engraved pocket watches for my best man and groomsmen. The quality was far superior than the engraved pocket watches I was looking at from another vendor and being on sale I actually saved money going with the Irish store. I will continue to make purchases from the Irish store for a very long time.

Farsi was wondeful in providing options to complete my jumper purchase on-line during the Black Friday weekend sales when there was an error on the website.and I could not change the country/currency option to Australia. I ordered a ring from The Irish Store and I am absolutely delighted with it! It is sterling silver Celtic braid band set with a polished Connemara stone. The ring is beautiful and exactly as pictured and described in the online catalogue. I had ordered a sterling silver trinity knot ring from The Irish store a few months earlier was equally pleased with that. Terrible customer service. Representative could not figure out the difference between billing address and shipping address for a gift purchase. The end result was the wrong name on the address, and the Post Office refused to deliver the package. Explained to the representative multiple times over the phone what the correct name and address was and it was still sent incorrectly. Follow up phone calls to try and resolve the issue just reiterated the customer service is terrible. Will never shop with this company again.

I bought a beautiful hooded sweater and green tigers eye jewelry set recently. Both items are wonderful! The sweater is soft and cozy. A nice navy blue that matches with so many things. The trinity knot zipper pull is lovely and I’ve gotten so many compliments. Last year I bought the same style sweater in Damson color. Loved it so much , just had to have the navy also.The jewelry is for our daughters birthday and I know know she’ll love it. Service from the Irish Store has been great! Very poor southern Irish business, no communication with customers but quick enough to take your money. On a lot of the reviews there seems to be the same problems with orders being late and I mean very late . Even the replies with apologise are months late ( what a shocker)., and always passing the buck blaming couriers, I live about 100 miles away on the same island so it’s not a courier problem. If you are thinking of buying from this crew don’t, not worth it. Two bit operation and a disgrace to the name Irish.

I purchased a sweater for my son for Christmas. He washed the sweater according to directions and it shrunk so much he can no longer wear it. This was the quarter zip Aran sweater. He called and asked what your procedure for a replacement or refund and was informed that he needed to purchase a new sweater, I will not purchase from your company again until you make this situation right.

Great products. I've bought purses, sweaters and jewelry for family members. They've all raved about the look and comfort. I've bought several sweaters for me and have not be disappointed. Did not get cap I ordered, sent other one instead. Never received the pocket watch I had engraved. Ordered full month before Christmas. Complained and said "we resolved your issue". You signed for PKG on such and such date. I signed but had only a cap, no pocket watch and cap was wrong. That is their idea of resolved!!! Never take a chance on this company unless you want to lose your money!!

Sweaters are absolutely amazing. Super comfy, warm and breathable. I work with small children and I can wear them while being active and not worry about overheating. They look great for day to day, and more formal events.
