This school was my sanctuary. I always loved going to this school. Especially when I was in the prime of my life, it felt like I was learning at the NEXT level. The school has so many amazing teachers who are willing to do anything for the students and kids. To be honest, we need more of that in our world today as the world is not what it used to be. If you want to have a great education for life, come to the school and see for yourself. Trust me, I was here at the school for most of my life, but it was originally called Dore Academy. I’m trying to rhyme here, although I am not good at it, here we go… (down below) The school is great, it’s not for the late, come find yourself good teachers, that can be that kind of preacher (Dedicated to all the teachers who work so hard daily)

This is a fantastic school that has changed my daughters life and has given her a bright future. Without JCS, our daughter struggled in school. Now, she is a confident girl and great student! She is very happy here and I will keep her here until she graduates from 12th grade. This is her fourth year here. The administration is always looking to keep the school progressive while considering the extra needs of the students. This is a school for learning disabilities, and the teachers are wonderful with the kids! I highly recommend this school!

I cannot recommend Crosland enough! Our son is in his second year at the school as a first grader. He has autism and ADHD, and we just love sending him to a place where we KNOW the entire staff has his back. The community of teachers, students and families is so welcoming and helpful, and the teachers truly know each child and work with them at their level and in the best learning environment for each child to be successful. We have been amazed as we've watched him grow in such a short time and can't wait to see what the future holds.

Great school with great teachers. As a parent with a child with LD this school has done wonders. Unfortunately they cannot make everyone happy. Not all parents share the same feelings that JerseyMom does. Sad that she is so angry and full of venom that she reverts to personal attacks of things she knows nothing about. Perhaps you should try working with the school instead of demeaning the people who are trying to help your child. If you can't then you need to find somewhere else that will work for you.

This is my son’s 5th year at The John Crosland School. JCS has literally been a God sent for my children. I have watched my sons confidence soar and there abilities maximized. The teachers and staff are caring and wonderful with the children. It’s an amazing place and an awesome community where my children can belong and succeed!!!

My husband and I have been really pleased with JCS. The teachers and administration take a whole child approach that has worked wonders for my child's interest in and responsibility for her school work. She is learning and happy to get out of the car each morning, which makes a big difference for our entire family.

This is our 4th year at John Crosland School. The learning environment is ideal for my son who has ADHD and Learning Differences. He has been able to reach his maximum potential and also thrive socially. The small class size is key and the staff does an amazing job creating a great sense of community.
