If you believe in what America stands for don’t support this business. The manager/owner. believes a lie that color of skin determines character. My brother and I went into this liquor store to purchase a bottle of wine. Which we did ultimately purchase. A young blonde female walked in behind us and began browsing, as we were. The Asian man behind the counter immediately dispatched the Hispanic male to follow my brother and I around the store as the employee followed us, the Asian man behind the counter went on the opposite side of the lotto machine where he and two other employees behind the counter observed us on cctv. In addition, as we were paying for our bottle there was an older African American woman cashing in her lotto tickets she wanted to purchase an additional lotto ticket but the Asian man misunderstood what she was asking and at the top of his lungs he yelled at her, saying “he had all ready given her a ticket and what was she trying to do con him out of three dollars” From her reaction, he frightened and intimidated her. Although there were at least two other customers-non African American, in the store, they were not, at any time, followed or surveilled. If you have the right color you can walk into this store and steal he won’t even see you especially if dark skin ppl are around. If you believe in the American way of life avoid this store, like the plague, he will do harm to you by making some false accusations against you or having his employees attack or harm you

this place is so poor at service and have really bad attitude for customer. So I place order through their website and somehow web shows error to charge on the card.( very poor web process) so I called them to find out because they charged to my bank card anyways. Spoke with several managers( I don't even know they are real manager or just switching people around) and they said they can't find order from the website and said it's not their fault. I mean I used your website and whoever the managers were they can't even find way to solve the problem. One of guy even said I DON'T GIVE A DAMN and call your bank to dispute charges(was about $200). I mean who says that to the customers? So I asked his name because he was absolutely rude and giving me attitude and he said he's name is "somebody". Please read this review and as a business owner in Brooklyn, please teach your employees not to be that rude and giving attitude to the customers. Even 1 star is too much for this venue services. Just hoping other people don't experience this kind of situation. Be aware, don't call them even it's their system fault, don't call them. They will say it's not their fault but yours. Very very very rude managers (spoke with 3 different managers ).

Large selection of crapshoot liquors. Very good if your looking for a new experience, but chances for domestic are slim. Website is ok, but again, you'll probably have to settle for a different brand from your desired choice. No drivers available to deliver product, so you have to patronize the store or cancel your order. I chose option one, and was not impressed, other than the cleanliness of the store. There are two men working the front, and the Asian man seems lost. The other gentleman was a bit more polite, but only after he sees that your ordering a certain amount of booze. And finally, you would think after spending $100 at their store, they would have the decency to front you a brown shopping bag, especially after they provide no delivery service, nope. They give you brown handle-less bags to juggle and struggle on your 20 min walk home. Thank goodness I was expecting something like this and brought a shopping bag with me. Overall, not the worst experience in my life, but it just gets tiresome when store personnel/owners don't seem to understand business. Just not a good vibe, and probably won't patronize there again.

So, I haven't been here in person. I did just make my third order online though. I always receive the order pretty quickly after it's shipped, and I'm in WI. I found The Liquor Store by looking on Reddit; I wanted to find a reliable store to order sake from and saw people vouched for this place. Their inventory for sake specifically - they have a ton of other things in many other categories - isn't overly large, but they carry my favourite brand so I bulk order it. TLS called me the last couple times within 24hrs of me placing an order to let me know they'd ship my order on Tuesday. They're always super polite and friendly. I would 1000% recommend ordering from here, and if you're in the area, I'm sure they're just as awesome in person. They have good reviews for a reason! ♥

Terrible customer service and pricing strategies. I'm a legitimate business owner whose in the bar consulting/night life industry so this was shocking to me that a spirit was labeled as $23.99 and the POS price was $28.99. Though the store clerks all verified that the store was at fault, they REFUSED TO CHANGE THE PRICE. The clerks claimed that the manager wasn't present and they weren't going to call him either. He suggested I come back ANOTHER DAY. As a consumer and a proprietor this bad customer service etiquette. I warn anyone who frequent here to watch the pricing and if it's correct disengage with the clerks and speak to a manager. Needless to say they will be getting anymore of my business or orders, and yes I have frequented them very several years now.

Just wanted to congratulate the Liquor Store on exceptional customer service…I was departing NY the next day and tried to order for delivery on online…missed the deliver cut off time by 10 mins.. Rang the store and explained I was departing Brooklyn back to Australia…wanted 3 bottles of “Dina Fash” scotch as presents…( A very nice reasonably priced Scotch….INMHO). Anyway the person answering the phone reset the website and I was able to place my order and got my delivery way inside of their 1 hr delivery promise…..Thank you… ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ service from …. Doesn’t happen ofte these day..

Worst place ever. This is the last time we order from them. Please if you live in the Fort Greene neighborhood please STAY AWAY. Their website is never up to date. And they are too lazy to do anything about it. They also charge you for items and then don’t deliver them. After today’s experience I JUST found two amazing wine shops that deliver nearby in this area. Wright and Goebel and also Olivino. Try them instead for wine and they also have websites up to date, amazing customer service, and no scamming!

Correction I went to this store before it was closed they had no 1.75L cognac options behind the counter ...a bunch of infusion drinks but not the original and basically a bunch cheep wine options that wernt complete at all. Stock was all over the place... When I asked the cashier about the stock he ignored me at first then proceeded to give me a nasty attitude that was uncalled for said that's between me and the manager....Which caused me to go to 2 other liquor stores that ended up being closed. Sorry

This store is located near Barclay Center/Atlantic Mall on Flatbush Avenue which is one of the main transportation hubs in Brooklyn. The staff who work there are friendly and will offer help when needed. IMO they have a substantial alcohol offering to serve your needs/cravings. I noticed from my visits they have at least a dozen liquor/wines on sale. But I usually go there to get Makgeolli which is difficult to get in my neighborhood, Boerum Hill. Their prices are reasonable too Go check it out!

Although The Liquor Store has been under scaffolding for a couple of years now and you may not realize the store is here, they ARE open & appear to be doing well. The interior is very bright and roomy- no congested isles here. The cashier is usually friendly and there seems to always be someone taking inventory. Prices aren't too jacked up like most other places in the area.

Amazing!! They're the ONLY store in NYC that carries my favorite wine, Senior Sangria and the prices are priced very very well! Much needed addition to the neighborhood, not to mention they're very friendly, incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is so welcoming.....no bullet proof glass with speaking holes drilled in to convey what you want

Awesome place! Wide variety of wines and spirits to choose from but not many in each variety. And only a small fridge to keep bottles chilled. Open area with high floor to ceiling shelves. You aren't separated from the wine by floor to ceiling transparent acrylic walls similar to smaller liquor stores. They accept cash and cards.

They usually do a very good job, this last order was truly a mess. First, I was told that the order wouldn’t be delivered and then that it would arrive within an hour, but the most extraordinary thing was that I was required to show my ID and then the delivery person took a picture of it.I won’t be ordering again.

Great selection of wines and spirits. Affordable prices. Good customer service. I bought 4 bottles of wine for just under $50.00. Went there looking for Menage a Trois Silk Soft Blend Red Wine. Couldn't find in other stores, but I did here. It was $12.00. Nice shop that's definitely needed in this neighborhood.

Made a purchase on june 5th around 2:30pm. The cashier was extremely rude I tried to use my credit card via my samsung pay. And she rudely told me "we dont accept it give me your credit card and Id. I am a nyc bartender it was my first time in this establishment and I will never go back.

Lapin and I came to the store earlier in the year when it opened. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. When we asked about the availability of certain wines, they said they would order it. They have a good variety with reasonable prices. A nice addition to the neighborhood.

I think Nick and Fabio are so friendly ordering online but Erma is the worst every time I call she’s so nasty and lazy, She never wants to place an order always complaining then she transfers it to Nick or Fabio who does a fantastic job by the way

Nice store with friendly staff. They had a good selection of whiskey (single malts, bourbon and rye, Irish), which is what I was looking for. Their prices seem generally lower than in other liquor stores closer to me (around Brooklyn Heights).

Used to love this place for its range and convenience. Sadly after changing their website and local delivery provider, they no longer can deliver to my address which is only 2 miles away. You lost a loyal and valuable customer as a result.

Solid selection and very helpful staff. Once came in looking for Select, they didn’t have it but said to come back in a week and they’d have it ordered and available. Great to have a place that’s willing to go the extra mile to help out.

Easy to find what you're looking for. Found my Fleur de Mer wine that I've been searching for. This store is located just a block away from the 4,5,2,3 train subway line. The employees are very helpful. Im definitely going back.

Store is clean and very spacious. Has a great selection of wines, Liquors, and mixers sure to help spruce up any party. Plenty of room for anyone that may be disabled and using a wheelchair.
