Love the decor. When I went the crowd was extremely small. Had a great time with the owner, his friends and the young handsome bartender that started off making the drinks weak but after speaking to him, the drinks did become stronger. The two unfavorable things about this place was the 3 flights of metal stairs and I did not see an accessible entrance for those with disabilities. Those with fibromyalgia, arthritis in the knees or lower extremities would not fair well on those stairs going up and descending. The owner should look into accessibility issues. If your are a large woman using the women's room will be an issue. The 3 bathroom stalls are small and the door will not close if your bent over. I would suggest using the men's room to be comfortable. The owner should take out one stall to make 2 larger stalls to accommodate the larger size woman, especially after walking up them stairs you will need to go directly to the bathroom. Lol. The women's room decor was nostalgic. Those are my only two complaints. I know many large women are not going to be open about these issues, but there were women with me that were not large women and their remarks were the same as my thoughts. Great place and very nostalgic.........Accessibility and small women's bathroom stalls.

Eh, the 1st DJ wasn't my cup of tea, more for the "grown and sexy" crowd (not that I'm a teenager) but the constant melo R&B was draining the party I went with. The DJs switched after a few hours then it became more of a party atmosphere with a mix of genres but the wait was annoying. I didn't like how the party I was with had a reserved section/seating and random people were in our space. The drinks were good but I will say, if someone is allowed to enter the establishment then they shouldn't be carded or questioned when ordering drinks, they're obviously over 21. Overall I wasn't too pleased, I question if I'll return in the future.

Went to the Livingroom for a friend's birthday. I enjoyed myself immensely. I danced the night away but not before taking in the decor, one surprise after another like being in an antique shop with music and a group of great friends. Even if you're not a dancer sitting and enjoying drinks while absorbing the atmosphere, decor and great people will still make you feel like you had the best night out ever!

I came here for a private party... dont really know how the crowd is otherwise... nice big space.. not wheelchair accessible have to walk up stairs to get to actually club.... I guess they wanted it to be a "living room" atmosphere as far as furniture... but it seems like they just got a bunch of different "fancy" couches and chairs.. it's a bit tacky in my opinion...there's no coordination...

A few things. The scenery and decor best described the name of the club, and the antiques that set the mood of it. However, the staff did appear selective or showed favoritism when it came to dress code. I was turned away when I showed up in Timbs, yet when I stuck around outside, I saw a few patrons wearing Timbs as I was. *shrugs* And I noticed there was no coat check available.

They made us pay 20 to get in b4 12 and that was stated nowhere in the establishment and we had bottle service. Then my friend had to check her coat. They told her it was 10 to keep it on and 5 to check it. Mind you we had a section.... then it took them 30 minutes to bring our bottles... The music was so loud when i left i had ringing in my ears... never again.

In a warehouse-like building occupying one floor. Large space designed to look like a living room. Furniture gives the antique feel. Flat screen TVs at bar. DJ and dance area. I went for a family members performance on a Friday nite. It was a mature crowd that nite. Decent prices. Corona cost $7. Decent spot in the neighborhood just beyond the expressway.

This is absolutely one of my favorite place to go dancing. I am a Chicago style stepper and at least once a year attend a huge event here. The vibe is always nice. Classic, traditional and sort of quirky aesthetics. And you have to see the bull statue! Great joint. I think a wider drink selection would help, but otherwise I enjoy my stay.

This venue is not what I expected but very cute. Its industrial ambiance and live music meshes well. Coat check is not recommended because coat wasn't where it should've been and took a while to locate it and drinks are a bit overpriced. Perhaps it was just the event I attended, but who knows! Would give another chance.

I been here a couple of times never had a problem. The owner is very cool and friendly makes everyone feel welcomed. They play rnb hip hop and old school. The crowd on a Saturday night is strictly for the grown and sexy so leave your uptowns and timbs in the closet on this night.

The place is "not all inclusive." In addition, the drink are really poor quality for the price you pay. The website states "casual" dress code. However, when we arrived they said on Saturdays you have to wear shoes. They dont have clear standards.
