Absolutely unsuitable for children under at least 14. Should be marked with an 'extreme content warning' and definitely not be sold as 'family friendly'. We thought this was a history tour and went with two children aged 5 and 7, opting for the allegedly non-scary 'guardian angel' second part of the tour. That basically amounted to exactly the same route but with an actor holding a torch, minus the loud noises and people jumping out to scare visitors. It was extremely disturbing. Two other children in the 'angels' group started screaming and crying and had to be removed shortly after entering. We should have left with them but didn't realise how much worse it would get. Scenes of extreme violence, blood-smeared kitchens, chopped off body parts, hanging corpses, terrifying clowns and dolls, evil operating theatres, basically any kind of nightmare scenario you can think of was there. This is absolutely not a place to take children. There should have been a very clear violent content warning on the website but there was not. All it says is: "contains flash and strobe lighting and is not suitable for young children under 11" and yet they sell a child ticket for 5-14 years while those under 5 'go free'. While I'm sure this appeals to some tastes, it needs to be clearly labelled for what is with an unequivocal extreme content warning for people with young families. Will request contact details to file a formal complaint. Tickets were part of the London Experience.

My visit to The London Bridge Experience was an exhilarating adventure that took me on a thrilling journey through the city's dark and fascinating history. From the moment I stepped inside, I was immersed in a world of suspense and intrigue. The immersive storytelling and interactive exhibits truly brought the past to life. Walking through the recreated historical scenes, I felt like I was right there, experiencing the events and emotions of London's tumultuous past. The highlight of the experience was crossing the historic London Bridge itself. As I ventured across, the stunning views of the River Thames and the city skyline added a breathtaking touch to the adventure. The actors and guides were exceptional in their roles, adding an extra layer of authenticity and excitement. Their performances added a dynamic and engaging element to the experience, making it even more memorable. I was also impressed by the attention to detail in the set design and special effects. The combination of sound, lighting, and visual effects created an immersive atmosphere that heightened the suspense and drama. The London Bridge Experience is not just a tourist attraction; it's an interactive and educational journey that delves into the heart of London's history. Whether you're a history enthusiast or just looking for a unique and thrilling experience, I highly recommend a visit. It's a chance to explore the city's past in a whole new way and leave with a deeper understanding of its rich heritage.

Absolutely fantastic experience. A bit hard to find, mind you, it would of helped if my phone was working right.. We had read it was opposite the station, turned out it was a mile down the road, so we took a stroll down the river Thames which was lovely. Saw a big ship. When we arrived at London Bridge and pay entry, you step into a waiting area with lots of decorations, stuff to read, old artefacts and money. When your slot comes your walked through by a guide, they take you to different themed areas and talk about the times back then. It's quite informative and very theatrical. Then you come onto the tombs, this whole area is decked out in frightening scenes with people jumping out on you, chainsaws (bladeless of course) tight spaces, compressed air, all sorts. Not for the faint hearted, check the website for medical conditions and health concerns, one lady did have to leave before entering. You also have the option to buy a photo they take of you pretending to be frightened, which my wife took the liberty of purchasing for £9... We both wore green, but my green was affected by the green screen which made for a interesting picture.. We'll worth a visit, and look for promo codes, we got 2 for 1 from train ticket purchase. We were also quite blessed with the weather as you can see... ☔

Went there for my sons bday. Was alot of fun. First half is more about history second half is where your truly gonna get scared lol. My son is 15 he really enjoyed it the staff there were very cautious of children and anyone with any health issues . They came and checked on the older kids daring to participate in the second half. Very friendly, very fun and enthusiastic, very loud to make you jump, good sense of humor by all, interactive . Great day out . There was a game room and bar / restraint after but ed didn't have time to check it out. Will next time though for sure. Great staff thankyou. Only reason for 4 stats is it was hard to find be nice if there was some signs from train stations or something like they do with zoos and museums. Google maps couldn't even work it out for us. But we eventually found someone who worked there handing out leaflets and he guided us the way. Secondly, wish it went on for longer!!. But still worth the money and we had a bal! .(oh and a photo opportunity somewhere would be really cool aswell something for us to look back on )

We visited the London Bridge Experience and Tombs on Sunday 8/8/21 and our timeslot was for 12:00. Arrived at 11:45 and was booked in quickly and efficiently. Went down the stairs and waited for the doors to open around 11:55. You go through around 4 different sets with the actors who were great, giving you a bit of gruesome history with a bit of comedy about London Bridge. I would say although the lighting needs to be dark and atmospheric I think the 1st room and the Roman room lighting needs to be adjusted slightly as you couldn't even see the actors faces. After the pub set/scene you are sent into the tombs which I think was around 10mins in duration. Great sets, actors and good fun with a few jump scares but not very scary in my opinion when I compare it to Broadwitch Hauntfests Biometrix scare maze or a house from Tulleys Shocktober fest. All in all a great fun experience and recommend doing. I just expected it to be a bit more scary. Also when I had watched youtube reviews people were saying the duration of the experience was an hour to an hour and 15 mins. It only lasted 40 mins for us so was a lot shorter than expected but still great and we enjoyed it.

First off I want to say this place is excellent! It really is. It takes the template for the current "Dungeon" format and runs with it. Split into two parts, there's the London Bridge Experience first, which is by far my favourite part, then The Tombs after that. The London Bridge part gives you the history of the bridge, from the first wooden one to the current one. You'll meet a few characters along the way who will tell you about their point in history a d both the acting and sets are of top quality. It's also very telling that there's more blood and guts in this segment than there is in the whole of The London Dungeon! The Tombs I feel are a mixed bag. The sets are great and the atmosphere is excellent, but you walk around with your hands on the shoulders of the person on front, so you never really feel under threat. But again, the details here are top notch and they take quite a while to get through. My advice is to blag a discount. Yoy can easily find cheaper tickets online and the people outside with flyers quite often give a discount on quite days. Again, well worth a visit!

This place claims to be built around the Bubonic Plague pits. It's all lies. This place is nothing but an overpriced tourist trap with no history attached to it. Once the tour starts you're led down stairs to your left. The air becomes extremely warm and heavy the second you go past that first door. The experience itself involves about 20 mins of talking from various characters and 10 mins of being spooked and chased by human zombies, overwhelming loud noises like a woman wielding a chainsaw, an underground train ramming repeatedly into a cage and heavy circular pins rotating and smashing into the cage. There's also a murder room with a black and white floor and an intense flashing white light. You're warned before they begin that if you suffer from epilepsy or panic attacks it's best if you give it a miss. It's difficult to breathe down there too. So if you give it a miss you're missing nothing. You'll come out feeling underwhelmed from the cheap nonsensical scares.

I hate to say because the people working there were delightful, but this was truly awful. I’m so confused by the positive reviews. The history was boring and the acts were cheesy. The haunted house part was so stupid. Not scary at all and just such a waste of time and money. I would have forgiven the dumb haunted house if the history had been interesting. For example, we went in a chapel where the guide talked about witches. Why was that chapel there, when was it built, and for what purpose?? I have no idea, but suspected witches were sometimes thrown into the Thames. There was a skeleton under a plexiglass hole in the floor. Never talked about. Was it real, was the person important? Were these rooms we were in really used back then at all? No idea. But I do know a man’s willie was removed before he was disemboweled. Overall, I’m so bummed we wasted the time and money to do it, and hope I can save one person from it. Just skip it.

A fun place to visit and get a little dosage of scare. The place is close to the Burroughs market and right underneath the London Bridge. We were allowed to go in 2 hours earlier than the reserved time and it maybe due to no crowds and in fact there was no one at that time slot. There is a big bar/tavern inside and restrooms. The show consists of 2 parts with the history, narration covering the first part and the scary/horror experience as the second part. The second part is optional but I would recommend it for those that don't mind the usual horror experience. The first part was not interesting or entertaining as there is not much to add to it. A good way to spend a couple of hours if you have time and are willing to spend money on the tickets for a bit of horror.

We visited all the usual tourist spots in London as you do but after seeing everything all my children kept going on about was The London Bridge Experience! Big tip...you MUST do The Tombs at the end! Seriously do not skip it unless you have very young children with you or you are very sensitive in which case this attraction really isn't meant for you anyway. One thing that could be improved is an opportunity to buy photos as you can't use mobiles in there to take photos or videos, which is totally understandable, so why not provide visitors with a photo opportunity in a scary scene with some gory actors and then sell the photos to visitors at the end? We would have definitely bought a photo or two. Other than that we really really enjoyed it! Thank you very much :)

Let's be honest this really is poor. The experience lasts about 30-40 mins. You are guided into about 4-5 rooms with an actor talking about slightly gory history but it's not even interesting stuff it's basically random facts about a few things over time in London that it's almost embarrassing. The actors try their hardest but it's really quite terrible. The first part was over and done with and was completely lacklustre and rather boring. The second part we enjoyed, it's a scare fest of people jumping out on you the lighting is good and gives part of the illusion so that was quite good. We finished off with a stein and bratwurst in the bierkeller and tbh that was probably the best bit, watching England win the u21s uefa Cup, the experience was a total waste of money.

I had an absolutely amazing time. Me and my daughter visited today as a spur of the moment. I can honestly say it's really fun. Reasonable price, I'd prefer it maybe a tad cheaper for the length of time, epically price wise for children could be cheaper. The actors are amazing. The history part was just enough for you to take it in and not got bored I felt. The Chapel was amazing. The bar scene with Jack the ripper was amazing and I love how they stay in character to give your guidelines. So my 8 year old braved the tombs, to which she absolutely loved but did cry at one particular actor which was funny for me. She's already said she wants to go again. For me I've been 4 times before and still return. Great 30 mins.

An exciting experience with lots of laughs and scares. We do wish it lasted a bit longer than it did for the price of the ticket, and wished we could see and/or experience more during the tour because it was mostly dark with flashing lights which created the experience of fear, but it was very dark and besides feeling your way around during the tour, we didn't see all that much. Unfortunately, photography isn't allowed on this tour, so there aren't any pictures to share. The experience of The London Bridge Experience needs to be personal. I would recommend it if you go with couples, friends or family with older children. But avoid it if you have heart issues or seizures.

Not nearly as informational or as scary as I had hoped. The tour, including both parts, only lasted 30 minutes instead of the 45-60 minutes that’s suggested on the site. The actors were great, and it’s definitely an enjoyable experience. Just wanted a little more from it to get that final star. I’ve done some underground secret history tours before, and have been luck to do some that have a little more meat on the bones. Would still recommend as a fun activity amongst a lot of “stiff” activities in the city. **edited down to a 3; because any place that gives free alcohol in exchange for an “honest” review is a little dodgy imo**

All staff were very patient and friendly to us, my 9 and 7 year old were determined to do the tombs part, staff provided a guardian angel (so no actors jump out) and they had fun. I didn’t go in as I don’t like that kind of thing and found even the first section scary. But I wanted to write a review as the staff went above and beyond when my son needed the loo half way through and allowed him back in waiting patiently with me to get him back in the tour. Actors were great and I was really impressed with how they do care about not totally terrifying younger guests. I think it’s just upto you if your children can cope with it. Check out some videos online and consider not doing the tombs or with guardian angel…

I visited the adults only Halloween special with my fiancé. The best experience I’ve ever had, MILES scarier than London Dungeon, and absolutely amazing experience! I loved it so so so much! I s**t my pants! I was unfortunately picked for a very… adult activity and my goodness, that was traumatising… especially when I was probed with a giant rubber… device (). The actors were next level amazing, my gosh, it was just insanely amazing. I’m without a doubt coming back next Halloween. You WON’T regret it!

10/10 Fantastic experience! All staff were absolutely lovely, you really can tell how much work has been put into the tour. I ,unfortunately dropped my jumper somewhere along the dark tunnels - and I (embarrassingly) asked if there was any way to find it. The response was kind and understanding and they immediately asked their colleagues to begin looking. Just when I thought my jumper was gone forever - the staff located it and rang us probably within 10/15min :) would certainly recommend to a friend!

The bridge experience is fabulous! Lots of information, in a fun way, until the catacombs which were terrifying, in a good way! Please don’t go if you have epilepsy though, lots of strobe lighting and crazy sounds, however you can safely go and do everything before the catacombs. Great actors, zombies, and chainsaw crazies along the way! I really enjoyed this. Staff were lovely too. Not allowed pictures inside but I was able to get some just before the experience starts at the entry.

The scare maze at the end was good and really well done but the beginning walk through/ experience was boring and had no story line, you just walked into three different rooms and a character was talking about nothing for a few minutes. we booked this as we thought it may be similar to the gunpowder plot experience (Which was amazing). It was not, it was boring and uninformative. was only in there for 30 minutes and that included the scare maze. Waste of money, would not recommend.

Brilliant actors, excellent atmosphere. The experience lasted 45 minutes (with the Tombs) and was well worth the money. You’re given an opportunity to decide whether to go inside the Tombs or leave the place early, the staff also explained well what to expect if you choose to continue. The tombs have some claustrophobic bits and pitch-black areas but overall not too scary, just really fun and thrilling! Very impressive, highly recommend :)

It was very fun!! The tombs were rather creepy and made me jump loads!! Highly recommend. Actors were very enthusiastic. Do not recommend for children. Value: I paid £25 per ticket. With the tombs scare maze I feel it was value for money. However some people in the group (with children) opted out of the scare maze therefore their experience was around 15 minutes. I feel it would be best for a reduced rate without for those who do not want to do the scare maze. The whole experience took around 30 minutes for the whole experience.

Excellent attraction, the real life actors were brilliant and it was super scary, we took our 10 year old daughter and it was a little to Scaff her but she did enjoy it. Added bonus the tour is part of a lovely bar where you can get a drink and food when the tour ends. It is a bit tricky to find it is underneath the London Bridge there is a sign on the bridge and go down the stairs and it is there. Overall loved it and would do it again.

It’s hard to give this more stars. It’s wasn’t scary at all. The scenes/rooms were excellent but it wasn’t interactive. No scary moments at all. They missed easy opportunities they could have really made us jump, but it was kinda lame. We had fun anyway, but we tend to have fun whatever. Top tip to them- more actors and capitalise more on the great space you have to scare a people. I can’t recommend this attraction.

Came on a slow midweek day with a brave 11 year old and 14 year old. This is very much a haunted-house type experience. That being said, it also has history and pretty good cast of actors who pushed the envelope of scares, but didn't cross the line (never touched us, but got very close and loud). They offer a drink if you leave a review, but we were in a hurry and I left this later. Have a frightful good time.

I never write reviews, but I had to express the disappointment of this experience. I think it lastest 30 minutes in total, with half of it as a Halloween horror walk experience. Then the whole thing ends abruptly when you get to the other side. People are probably giving 5 star reviews because you can get a free soft drink after. Don't get me wrong, the first half with the actors was good... I thought the whole thing was going to be like that but it wasn't. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

  • Tony Selli

If it was £10 would be worth a trip, but for £28 was very disappointing. The whole section before the tombs was quite boring and I just wanted it to end because the smell was too much. So much damp and mould down there and one room smelt like a sewer. The scary tombs part was quite fun but being at the back of the group the scares are not so strong as you here people scream ahead of you so are aware that someone will jump out at you. Shame as it has potential to be good.

Went on a quiet Tuesday afternoon and was just the two of us on the tour. The attraction is geared for larger groups and must have been challenging to still perform the show to just 2 of us. Huge credit to everyone involved because it was brilliant and despite only being 2 of us they all gave it max effort and as a result we really enjoyed it. A big thankyou to all the employees

The scary bit is great and the staff are lovely and helpful. The history bit is short and dull. The actors tried too hard to be funny with modern day reference in their jokes which took away from the atmosphere. Their accents were more Essex than old London and it felt like they were just going through the motions. This was my second time, first a few years back was much better.

Good experience - the horror maze was very effective and absolutely loved the decor! Only down side is it’s a historical site but I wouldn’t have known it by visiting there(unless I’m being dense)! I learnt more about the history of the place reading the reviews afterwards than when visiting it. For me it would’ve been nice to see/learn a bit more based around the plague pits and catacombs. But regardless it was well worth the money if you’re in for a scare.

  • Aleksa Kz

The actors were amazing, it was definitely worth the money. The scary part was really frightening and fun. Will definitely recommend to people! The only thing I wish they would change is lighting up the really dark corridors at least a little bit, because it was hard to see where you’re supposed to go and you can easily trip and fall. Overall 10/10. Awesome experience.

I went here in a school trip today and OH MY GOSH MY CLASS ADORED IT! Yes it was terrifying and we were all screaming till our vocal cords ripped but it was totally worth it. The actors were nice and the walkthrough was a blast! From the location to the spectacle of the tour, it was pretty terrifying. I genuinely thought I might end up in a bathtub full of ice missing a kidney going into here. Whoever worked here the night of the 12th of October 2019 deserves a Bells (whiskey). What an amazing experience. The ticket sales people were amazing, and got me to do it. I thought, bleh, probably some kids thing. But wow was I surprised. This was so scary and so much fun. I recommend this for any horror movie lovers who want to go on a date in London. Experience ends in CREAM ( an ice cream shop). And boy did I scream.

Went before covid and there were loads of actors especially at the end when all my teens screamed the whole way ! Even I got scared a little … this sadly was nothing like that hardly any actors to scare and when we came out it was like oh surely that’s not it:/end I’m glad I paid in tesco vouchers… even then I felt disappointed

It's too expensive for how short it is, half hour tops for the whole thing. The actors were very good and I think more should be made of them particularly the barmaid at the end. The guardian angel idea for children is a good one to make it less scary but if you have kids I would skip it. For that amount of money you can find longer and more enjoyable activities in London.

  • Nick D

Very veeery fun experience. The sets are amazing, actors a lot of fun, and you learn a couple of things. No waiting time (and worst case scenario, you can just chill at the bar until it’s your turn). Strongly recommend doing this with the London pass, gives you 20% off on the restaurant.

Did the zombie for a day experience, looked after by one of the horror actors, Harry. Great combination of funny and horror, actors do a great job at making you enjoy your experience too. And surprisingly the food is really good, compliments to the chef, since this isn't a restaurant primarily I wasn't expecting the food to be as good as it was. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The ribs are recommended too. Great value

Not worth the money. A poor imitation of the London Dungeon. The actor for hung, drawn and quarter was very sexist towards women with comments on their looks and many felt uncomfortable. A German man thought quite racist. This is the 21st century!

Through the London Pass, we were able to participate quite spontaneus on one of the tours. The staff was very sweet and forthcoming and the actors were a delightful. Especially the man playing the tavernkeeper gave me the creeps, so a 10/10 play. The horror part at the end was also great. Would highly recommend.

  • Tracey Gonzalez

Great experience. Excellent mixture of history and terror!! I screamed far too much going through the tombs... I was a sweaty mess coming out the other side. My underwear will probably never be the same again!

The whole experience lasted 30mins, this is with a "scary" part. The history part of the experience was not interesting or funny, and the jump scares of the "Tombs" part of experience felt rushed and not very thrilling.

It was excellent. Great entertainment and I highly recommend visiting when in London. I think that if you don't go and visit the tombs the experience would not be as good to be honest. It has to be done

Good fun but very overpriced. Similar to the london dungeons but not as good in my opinion and it was way shorter (only around half an hour). Also we got fake blood all over our clothes from a couple of the curtains which didn’t stain but probably could have if it wasn’t washed out in time.

  • Jaz Sky

This was one of the best scary experiences I have done. Everyones reactions were absolutely hilarious. We had people screaming and dropping on the floor. Would definitely recommend visitng here.

Staff pretty useless. Not asking needs whatsoever and continued to talk with colleague, so confused our tickets which we wanted to use for the Bermondsey Bierkeller which is next door.

So much fun! The actors are great and the sets are cool. It's not just jumpy, but atmospheric too, with creepy sights, sounds and even smells. They also cater for different scare levels, with a "guardian angel", standard or hardcore tour options, depending on when you go.

  • Cory Stover

This was crazy good! The people telling history were great and very engaging. The scare house area was scary af! It was scarier than HHN, for sure. Be sure to check this place out!

My 2 sons and I loved the whole experience - although Mum chickened out of the scare maze at the end - and rightly so - she wouldn’t have handled it. We went here in 2017 and still talk about it to this very day - a great adrenaline rush and truly scary - give it a go.

  • Andre Guilhon

Super fun place! The bar is great, and the experience is unbelievable! I had tons of fun, more than anything else in London. The actors and actresses are great! I would do it again!

I would say this was one of our more memorable places on our trip. It is educational and a little scary. It starts with the educational stations and then they line you up to go through the scary tombs. Not too bad at all and the ice cream at the end is awesome.

  • Elena Yao

Great experience, the actors and stories were really interesting and well acted. The horror maze was pretty scary but not too intense as you go with your tour group and the actors won’t chase you through. A very solid 45 minute tour with a nice bar at the end.

  • Miri

A very very good experience! The second part with the jumpscares was really nice but also very scary! Especially when you are the first one I can definitely recommend it!

Fun place to visit, albeit quite cheesy at times. Making the only exit after the tour through the Creams cafe is brilliant! The sweet aromas could be detected whilst we were at the end of the tour. The desserts were fantastic and the staff was friendly.

  • Becki Jack

Had such a good time here, the first 30 minutes was drama/history which is interesting, the second half is frightful. Found it to be quite entertaining.

Fun experience that, while suitable for teens and young adults, provides an hour of fun for those of us that are in the older, grey rinse set.

Amazing! All the actors were great and gave a wealth of historical information before you go through a maze of scares! The bartender actor was phenomenal! Worth the experience for sure. Being in the London Bridge was so cool!

Price is a bit steep, but the actual experience was great. The tombs very scary awesome actors. Shout out to the actor in the bridge experience who is the pub owner character, he was excellent!

It's a good place to have a drink but a really bad place to have dinner. We waited for a looooong time and the service was really really really bad. Small amount of food and bad quality.

I enjoyed so much! They have heaters, an app to order that makes it very easy and incredible views! It’s a must to go if you are in London. I can’t wait to go back!!

  • Kamila B

Nothing special, the "scary" part is too chaotic and flashy, the lights are blinding, it's really just unpleasant, less attractive than other London attractions

  • Kumar Gaurav

One of the best experiences in whole London. Definitely a must visit if you want a thrill. Also try there restaurant, awesome food and great hospitality

  • Justin Springer

Would have done it again on the same day. Great experience for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (11 and 14). A highlight of the London trip.

  • Dan iel

Decent, did it last year, it’s basically a one way hallway with pop outs, it’s decent but definitely not scary. More historical.

  • Peter Doran

Kinda boring at the start but overall good. The bartender was a standout performance. Put the fear of god in all attendees lmao

  • Naser Khomaj

It was great experience to see many nice places in England for me and for sure I will visit it again in near future

  • jess kerrigan

Loved the jump scares at the end of the tour ! Cosy little pub at the end to finish that sell double pints …
