Cocktail bar
"Incredibly underwhelming"
"We went into The Lucky Pig on a Saturday afternoon for the coktail masterclass"
"Found this place on a whim near our Airbnb in Fitzrovia last Saturday night and loved it! The cocktails and music were what drew us in, and neither disappointed! The DJ played a great mix of old and new and played each song long enough to get into it but not too long as to get bored"
"This cocktaiil bar is below ground so only accessable by the able bodied but inside is rather nice"
"I came here for my friend’s 30th (who had booked an area for the night) and was told I needed to pay £10 on the door"
Incredibly underwhelming. Off to a terrible start when we got sat in what I can only describe as a crumbling, damp, bunker cabin which was leaking. Then the waiter came in and rudely claimed “he had no idea” what the festive cocktails were (hints in the name, its December and it’s on their website) so I chose another drink, only to be told that he could “guess” the measurements if I liked. I did get one of the drinks on the house, which was a nice gesture but it was brought out at the same time as the 1st drink so by the time it came to drinking it it was warm so not enjoyable. It then proceeded to get worse becuase it was hard to grab anyone’s attention to order more drinks, or get any cleared from our table- which was the size of the post it note. After getting so frustrated we cleared the empty glasses ourselves. The food also arrived shortly after which was essentially glorified cheese on toast and soggy chips, the olives were mildly redeeming. It then took about another 20 mins to try and get the bill or any attention at all so we resulted to heading to the bar directly and heading swiftly out. Do not waste your money here

We went into The Lucky Pig on a Saturday afternoon for the coktail masterclass. This was a totally different experince to other cocktail classes I've been to and I really enjoyed it! We got to take a look at the menu and choose which cocktail(s) we liked the look of. Our bartender, Arnaud (who is an absolute legend), first showed us how to make the cocktail and let us try so we knew what it should taste like. He then invited two of us behind the bar to do it ourselves. At the end of our class the general manager, Fredrik, came out and we all had a really nice chat about all sorts. In short, lovely staff and fantastic drinks- I would highly recommend stopping by.

Found this place on a whim near our Airbnb in Fitzrovia last Saturday night and loved it! The cocktails and music were what drew us in, and neither disappointed! The DJ played a great mix of old and new and played each song long enough to get into it but not too long as to get bored. Two thumbs up to him! And the bartender was very impressive - she made beautiful drinks and was very knowledge and helpful with suggestions. We arrived around 10pm and there was no cover and several tables available (probably quieter than a normal Saturday night because pride parade/fest was earlier that day). It got busier as the night went on but never too crowded. Antique inspired decor was a really nice touch! Wish there was a place like this in Chicago!
This cocktaiil bar is below ground so only accessable by the able bodied but inside is rather nice. Being a cocktail bar beer drinkers have little choice with a very small selection of bottled beers but there is wine too. The food offering is mainly pizza which was nice but clearly not at the same level as a proper restaurant. A friend had a cocktail and she said it was lovely though to me it seemed perhaps rather small. Pricing was on the high side. Went to see some live music and the bar has a small stage area with excellent sound. Clean loos where everything worked made a change however one of the emergancy exits illuminated signs was kaput hence one star knocked off.
I came here for my friend’s 30th (who had booked an area for the night) and was told I needed to pay £10 on the door. I explained I was part of a booking but was told I still needed to pay, so I did. After I paid, the card machine broke, so the three people after me were allowed in for free. When I greeted my friends, I explained how annoying that was, but they all said I shouldn’t have had to pay because I was part of the 30th birthday party - and none of them had paid! When I left the bar a couple of hours later I confronted the door man about this and he just laughed in my face. Feel completely robbed. Avoid avoid avoid!
If you are looking for calm nice relaxing place to enjoy your cocktail with a rustic look and feel, this is the place to be. I had been here on weekday it had good vibes and the hospitality is top notch. The staff always made sure our cocktails were made tailored to our liking. They had good knowledge about spirits and recommendations were amazing.

Vegetarian options
There is one vegetarian pizza which tastes out of this world. It just took me by surprise . There is one vegan pizza on the menu to for people who are vegan.
For a more unique evening this is a nice place and the booths are great for a group, it feels like sitting in a private cave! The staff are fast at serving and willing to take orders from your table to save standing around at the bar. The range of cocktails on the menu is a little disappointing though and mostly don't seem good value. Certain bottles of wine are good though. It wasn't too busy when we went so worked better. There's good music which isn't too loud creating a decent atmosphere. If they had more choice on the menu and some traditional options it could be a regular place for my group.
Ewan was attentive to my entire party all night. He offered to help with our specific dietary requirements, and came up with creative, delicious, and personalised cocktails. He explained the house menu to us, and ensured that everything we drank would be perfect for our taste buds. Definitely going to come back soon, and am telling all my friends to come here. I came on the recommendation of a friend who says it is her favourite bar in London, and I totally understand why. Further, Conrad’s skills are nothing short of artistry and it was fun to watch and drink his creations!
Lets start with the positives, great music, great atmosphere and a fun venue. And the negatives...the wait to get served a drink was bordering on ridiculous. The bar staff seemed more concerned with how much fun they were having and showing off. Bearing in mind they serve cocktails (which takes time), they only had two people serving probably 80 thirsty revellers. I would recommend it, but not for a night where you can hear what your friends/date have to say. Younger crowd might not mind the appalling service, being in a scrum and fighting for a drink...
Great place to go with friends, or on a date. Its intentionally dank decor works in the low lighting to create an intimate, warm aesthetic, with lots of tight spaces to sit uninterrupted. The drinks are good, but the service at times seemed a tad clueless. On two occasions I was given completely different drinks from what I requested. It was late in the night though, so maybe the staff were just a tad fried. It's also a cool venue to watch live music!

Nice place, bit small/“empty” despite most reserved tables, could only do one mocktail on the menu, slow ordering service. First mocktail (from the menu) was nice and reasonable value at £7. Second mocktail (not on the menu) was mostly juice, not as nice. Olives were tasty!

Had my 30th birthday here at the weekend. Soph the events organiser was so quick to respond to any of my queries and helped me get everything set up. Fredrik and the team was so welcoming and so lovely on the night and even created special themed cocktail for me and the party! Everyone who came loved the atmosphere and the overall vibe. The staff were fantastic and helped me with everything that was needed! Thanks so much for a great night! I couldn’t have asked for more! Highly recommend!
Service not great. I understand the decor and the vibe they are going for but it does look very unkept and smelt very damp. Atmosphere not great maybe because we was there early. Booked area for between 8 & 10 people & was given space for 5 people had to ask bar man for additional chairs. Walking into the place wasn’t very welcoming don’t think will be going back there. Cocktails were ok but they didn’t know what classic champagne cocktail was bit disappointing.
The bouncer was incredibly aggressive at one point which maybe there was a valid reason but was not nice to be around. Topped off with hearing him and another member of staff in an apron openly talking about a female customers body and made comments to her concerning from people that are meant to keep you safe. Poor quality cocktails for the price even if you order something classic off menu, and there is no premium feel to this place like it had years ago.
Went for their cocktail making class, so much fun! Relaxed atmosphere where you get to make 3 cocktails each in your own time, showed how to make them and then go behind the bar to do it yourself. Francisco who taught us was incredibly friendly and taught us well. The cocktails themselves were beautiful too and pretty unique! Would recommend to anyone for the cocktail class or just to go for a few drinks.

Cocktails were okay, a little on the sweet side (even the smokey ones). The prices are fairly steep given the decor, drink size, and the service charge slapped on top at the end - for a fairly lacklustre service. Management take note: we were in on a relatively quiet time but no table service due to being understaffed. The furniture needs an overhaul - sunken seating in the booths isn’t ideal. The bouncer was the opposite of welcoming.
We did a private gin cocktail making experience with Arnauld. It was fantastic! As US travelers, it was a fun "local" experience. We now have 3 new gin cocktail recipes to take home as a souvenir! We did the 4:00 class, which was perfect, as the bar opens at 5:00. So by the time we were finishing up, the bar was starting to buzz. Great atmosphere! I would come here for cocktails on our next visit.

What an amazing bar! Great service, cocktails, music and atmosphere! I celebrated my 40th birthday there and can't recommend this place enough. It's a bar in London that ticks all the boxes for a great night out. Highly Recommended. Special shout outs go to Soph for helping with the organisation and Fredrik for handling everything on the night and made sure everything was perfect.

We organised some birthday drinks at this place last week and had a excellent time. It's really cool place with an excellent cocktail menu. The staff Conrad in particular was very helpful throughout the night. The bar staff were excellent as well. They were smashing out cocktails one after the other in no time at all. The music however is very pop top40 type, that's the only thing and this is me knitpicking.
A hidden gem in the city. I organised my cousin's hen here on a Saturday night and I was really impressed with the super friendly and helpful staff, amazing music and great vibes. We enjoyed our cosy alcove area. The DJ was excellent - he played RnB and garage. Drinks aren't cheap but the service is one of the best I've come across. Highly recommended!

We went there for a pre-dinner drink and we discovered they have open microphone nights. Lots of artists were there and we heard some nice performers. This happened on a Wednesday, so not sure it is everyday/week. The decoration of the bar was nice and the staff were friendly. They have a quite long list of cocktails and we enjoyed ours. A place to go back. If you are a big party, book a table.

This place is lucky to still be in business. For £14 you expect an extremely good cocktail made with fine ingredients and some flair. The several that I bought were weak and tasted very poor for the price. The staff were uninspired and dour. The decor tired and dated (I know it's trying to be trendy), the lighting was too bright and the music dreadful. I urge others to avoid.
We reserved an area for 60 people at the Lucky Pig as an afterparty for my wedding. The venue was perfect - good drinks, good music, and good ambiance. The staff was very accommodating. They set up a nice area for us with drinks on arrival and also made pizzas for us after the regular kitchen closing time. Thank you Sophie and Fredrik for an amazing night!!
Though this place would be lovely because of how it looks, but it lacks atmosphere and the drinks are awful. Horrible cocktails badly made, and the wine and beer are both just disgusting. It's really not that hard these days to stock decent wine or beer, I don't understand how this place could get it so wrong - not a great cocktail bar unfortunately.
Incredible time here! I booked this venue for my partners 25th birthday and we had such a great time with the music, drinks and service, outstanding. Planning with Sophie was an absolute ease. Couldn't recommend this place any more highly. Thank you for having us!!

I celebrated my birthday here with my friends recently; It was the first time coming here for all of us but we all agreed that we will be coming back here again. All the staff were excellent hosts and their service was impeccable. They were very attentive and friendly and made sure all my guests were looked after.
Stumbled across this hidden gem on a random Thursday. It felt like you entered a different era - decor is great. The lucky pig is so nice that we delayed our dinner reservations. The Gin cocktails were amazing and the bartender had a great understanding of what we wanted. Would definitely recommend this place.
Came across this gem last week for a couple of Birthday cocktails for a friend of mine. The venue was amazing in terms of service and interior and the drinks are just delicious with a great value for money! Thank you again for to Alex from the bar for looking after us, we will defiantly be back very soon!!!
Quirky, underground, speakeasy-esqe cocktail bar! Fun decor with seats in the old wine cellar. Good cocktail menu and nice bottled beer selection. Table service if you've reserved. It gets busy later in the evening and service does get quite slow! It's nice for a couple of drinks but maybe not all evening.
Great little cocktail bar in a basement. Very old fashioned looking and with nice unusual cocktails. Make sure you book a table as it can get quite busy after work. There are some alcoves with curtains which are great if you want your own space. They also have nibble food. We had a nice cheese plate.
We were at The Lucky Pig this past Saturday night and the vibe was really great! The cocktails were spectacular, especially the Penicillin, the DJ played great music that made us want to dance all night long. Great vibe, great people, great everything. Will recommend to anyone travelling to London.
Took their cocktail master class with Arnaud and met the owner Fredrik, both wonderful people, very knowledgeable and friendly. I had a fantastic time learning to create some of their signature and some classic cocktails. Would absolutely recommended visiting.

This place was not as considerate as others. it was still open and letting other people in, but for some reason didn’t let us in even though we called to ask if they were open. they told us no they couldn’t let us in but then laughed as we walked away talking about us which made us uncomfortable.
Wow. I can't say enough about this bar. I've been twice now and both experiences have been fantastic. The cocktails are truly excellent - and the service is top notch and incredibly friendly. The space combines a low key, very cool environment with great music and fun ambiance. Highly recommend.
The Lucky Pig has great music at the weekends and is a fun place to dance. The place is pretty small and can only house about 90 people. They generally charge cover even if you arrive early and it is a sort of dead night. But the bar tenders are really friendly and it is always a good night out!

Ewan is THE bartender of London omg, literally the apple cocktail I had was probably the best I’ve cocktail I’ve ever ever had, Ewan is genuinely so friendly and so cool!! The other staff (I didn’t get the name, sorry) was super super nice too, great place for drinks and music deffo recommend
Ronnie is the star of the show, we booked master class cocktail making and it's was my first experience but he made it so fun and exciting, I can highly recommend. Mauro in the clock room made us feel welcome and safe. Best night out in London ❤️ will definitely return and recommend x …
I went to this bar last week end with my girls and we absolutely loved it!!! the atmosphere and the DJ were amazing! we were served by Ronnie who made our night. He was very friendly, and every cocktail he made was delightful. Would recommend 100%. thank you Ronnie, we will be back :) More

First of all who charges entry into a cocktail bar? Was expecting nice elevated cocktails - no dice. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone who is a cocktail enthusiast. Prices are also on the high side especially considering what it is. The crowd seemed very young in there too.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to lucky pig staff for an amazing night! We came a bit early which was great because it meant I could experiment with taking these amazing photos of food and drink! They taste as good as they look!!! This place is a real gem ❤️
I have been to the Lucky Pig on many occasions and I feel that the bar staff go above and beyond to make your night feel special Ronni in particular as the bar got very busy he was still consistent on serving us with great customer service see again soon guys :-)
Really cool basement cocktail bar that offers new live music every Wednesday. Good selection of cocktails, pretty pricey outside of happy hour. Also, on night of visit there was a single team member serving so issues around length of time to be served.
Really enjoyed be back, nice tunes and drinks, but please please dim the lights. No one likes to dance with the lights on. Been back 1.month later. New Dj, lights turned down, much better music and vibe. And as always the boy on the door is supreme.
Was in a little side area so hard to comment on atmosphere , service was a little slow but the waiter was knowledgable, recommended great cocktails and super friendly. We didn’t eat. Def would visit again

Great cocktail bar with a good selection of cocktails, excellent space and atmosphere! The staff is really nice and helpful. There was a live on the Thursday which was brilliant. Great place for a date or a night out with friends.
Nice venue with music downstairs from various artists from different genres. Cocktails are fantastic, the bartender is very friendly and attentive. The downstairs venue has a cozy little sections equipped with comfortable seating.
Wonderful place. Been here many times over the years and celebrated many birthdays. Nice and chilled with shabby chic design in the early Eve and then becomes more party with a DJ later on with great cocktails, music and dancing!

We had business drinks in here ~15 people last Thursday. The staff was incredibly helpful with pre-ordering a few things and very attentive on that day as well. The place is very charming and it has good music :)
Came on a Saturday night. Waited over 40 minutes for a cocktail at the bar (they had only two bartenders working). Ordered a side car which was probably 50% lemon juice, not worth the wait at all.
Had a birthday party there on a Sat night along two other parties. Space was well organised Super friendly staff Excellent DJ who knew how to content three different crowds Great atmosphere
They are great and easy to work with when planning my event! Soph & Fredric were very accommodating and patient with any questions i had. Bar itself has amazing vibes and is sooo fun
Great underground bar. Not too big, so make sure you're on time. It can be very packed and with only 2 bar men you might have to wait for a drink. But overall for sure recommendable
Dodgy little cocktail bar from the outside, dodgy little cocktail bar from the inside. That said, cocktails were brilliant, staff was great, and entertainment was amazing.
Not sure why this place is not busier. Super cute, cozy and charming, with excellent bar tenders. Would really recommend for a big group or private hire for a party

Fun bar with a quaint decor and a good drinks / snacks menu. We had the 2-4-1 offer and I can definitely recommend the sloe gin cocktails!
Lively atmosphere but it can take a while to get your drink. Has some seating area but it has more of a nightclub vibe on weekend nights.
