No information on the The Mill website regarding accommodation, was directed to a third party booking centre. In the unit that had a disability bathroom, the bed was too high for the person to get onto the bed without assistance. Checked-in about 9pm. Had to leave the family in the dark to return to car to bring the remaining. All power was controlled by leaving the key in the holder. Tried to ring the hotel contact number for information about the lights and power etc., the number was ringing then after no answer it went to voicemail. Try putting cold items into a fridge that was not turned. The drip tray underneath the freezer was full of thawing ice and water in the tray was overflowing and flowed out the door when the fridge was opened. Found out the next morning it was starting to get cold. The car had no designated parking for clients booked into the units, these clients had to park elsewhere in the car park as the spaces were used by staff. In this area there were spaces available for VIP Lounge holders. Even the disability parking space was used by staff. There were limited choices in Bistro Breakfast menu, no light meals.

I have no idea why I keep coming here to eat and get disappointed. I now literally get anxious when hubby jokes we're eating here. I've not really disliked a place as much as this one. First time we came, ordered beef burger and I swear it was like someone saturated the beef patty with salt it was like drinking salt water I had to take it back to kitchen it was inedible, saw them taste it, spat out (like I did) and discard the burger, took a tray of mince beef from the fridge to inspect it. Wow! Do they not taste the food they serve? First thing you learn at cooking school. Most recently, I ordered the laksa with no meat (meat +$8) I got soup and noodles with a garnish of bean sprouts and four small pieces of choy sum. Really? Shortage of sprouts and veg? This place needs good chefs who take pride in serving good food. I gave it two stars because the pumpkin with ricotta vegetarian dish and the laksa soup itself were tasty. Not ordered meat here since the burger incident as I'm scarred from that experience. Next time hubby says 'dinner at the Mill??' it will be a huge NO thanks! Going to Panania Diggers instead.

We had a bad experience turn great due to one individual at The Mill. We have always had a great experiences there on multiple occasions, but this one time the food really took a while 55 minutes to be exact. The weird thing was that others on our table who ordered after us and had the same order, received their food, ate it and we didn't even get ours yet. After speaking to the Manager (slim with long hair wearing the security uniform) he made sure that our food was taken care off and since he couldn't refund us he gave us free drinks. Also to add one of the orders came wrong twice which he then gave us a voucher for. Honestly a huge thank you to that gentleman who's really descent and even helped us get a table in the beginning before this all happened while we were standing looking for a place to sit. Would always recommend The Mill due to their great food service, atmosphere and of course their Manager.

If you want a great meal prepared by a great chef (Chef Danny) then you've found the place. Food was fantastic!! We all had a great meal and we couldn't fault it. Chef Danny and his team did an amazing job to prepare and serve great food with very little wait time. A must to visit!! Make sure you say hi to Chef Danny. Had dinner again and the new items added to the menu were so delicious. The roasted cauliflower, the Duck pasta, the slowed cooked Beef Cheeks... Wow... Wow... Wow.. Chef Danny has added some amazing new additions. You'd be silly not to try them. Good job Chef Danny!! Another great night and meal.. You have to try the baked Greek cheese... It's amazing for a starter.. Yum yum Yum.. Also the Barramundi is so tasty! You have to try them both. Don't forget to say hi to Chef Danny who is serving up these great dishes.

We stayed 3 nights at the Mill. The room had a few problems - a broken bedside table, a bathroom tap mixer that was barely usable and you can'tleave the room without the lights going off. But the parking for accommodation guests is our main issue, and one that we can now see has been raised by previous guests with nothing done to fix the problem. Guest parking is atrocious. There are just a small number of bays provided for the more than 20 motel rooms, and if you get there when the hotel is busy, don't expect to get a spot anywhere near your room. If you return at 8.30 pm on a Saturday night, expect your nearest available parking spot to be half a kilometre away on the street. And the security guard was rude and unhelpful. Stay somewhere else if you can.

  • Poppy Bling

Unfortunately when we visited, there was an issue with their computer system which meant we were sent to collect our food from the counter 3 seperate times, only to be told it wasn’t ready. Bit annoying, but they did a good job handling the issue for the most part. Once our food finally arrived it was good - typical pub food, nothing to write home about overall. There chips were pretty nice though! Sad to see they’ve replaced their much-loved burger bar with an Asian food station, I think the old chef has left and you can definitely see this reflected in the food. Worth visiting though if they’re running special deals on their food, they have lots of indoor and outdoor seating and live music on the weekends.

  • Kelly Zelvis

I was extremely disappointed with the service and food in the bistro. We waited almost an hour to receive our breakfast, on the first day! The restaurant had barely anyone dining at this time and my meal was completely overlooked and was not made. I requested my money back and voiced my disappointment with the service. Even for coffee's to be made it was a 30 min wait! The following day the same thing happened, meals were extremely slow to come out and when they did they were cold and tasteless! The establishment is lovely, however due to the service I will not be recommending this venue nor will we stay again.

We use to go on a regular basis for a drink and catch up with the locals and it was great to be any night of the week, but since new management has taken over it’s like a ghost town. Pokies don’t pay out at all. My kids use to go there as well and it was good to know they’ll get home safely and we could just pick them up after they finished drinking, now they’ll have to Uber to the city. At least other pub around here have people, The Mill has no one and the real joke was when we had to book a table for dinner online and get there and there was no one there. Sad to see that The Mill has changed so much over night. Might start heading down to East Hills where there’s people.

  • MJ La-Fernandez

The staff and their services were absolutely amazing, the area is well spaced out. The function room was clean and had its own bar which worked out well if your looking for a private function. The night club at the end of the night is a great idea to enjoy a night out if your in the area. The security guards kept the crowd maintained throughout the evening. If your looking for a quiet night, it’s well worth to eat there during the week days as the service is still amazing just a little quiet. Hopefully you’ll enjoy whatever it is you intend to do there. There’s no public transport nearby so bring that extra driver or catch a cab back otherwise they have motels at the back.

  • Melinda Kent

I stayed here with my son while he participated in a sporting competition. The staff were very welcoming and willing to assist us with any of our inquiries. The room was spacious and clean, the bathrooms extremely big obviously catering for wheelchairs as well. The rooms were very quiet. Located at the back of the hotel was fabulous, we would have dinner each night at the hotel. The hotel very modern, food was fabulous and catered for kids with meals and a playground. Would highly recommend this to individuals and families. There is everything there to make your stay enjoyable.

The Mill has always been a favourite for our family and circle of friends. Decent food, at decent prices and large serving sizes = value for money. Service is always good, I've never had a bad experience with any staff there in the many years I've visited. Tonight we went for my dad's birthday and everything was great. His steak was cooked exactly as he asked and he was very happy. I tried the duck pancakes and they were delicious. Live music is great too but it would probably be better if the speakers in the eating area were turned down a bit just because it's hard having to shout over your food but overall, always a pleasant experience here.

  • Marija Sidoroska

I just want to give a massive thank you to Kelly who helped me organise my birthday so very last minute. She was amazing from start to finish. Kelly everything looked better than expected. I have been coming to The Mill for years now, however this time it exceeded my expectations in a positive way. Also Ann who worked on the night at the bar was amazing. Her happy vibe made everyone feel so welcomed and showed she wanted to be there coming from me due to my work I am big on body language. All the staff were also great and accommodating. Once again a big thank you and we will definitely be back in the future for next events to come.

  • James Padron

Not as good as the previous owners. The food has gone a little bit down hill. It's not value for money anymore. Seating arrangements for Tuesday trivia are not comfortable as they once were. We ask for a SIT DOWN table to seat 5 people comfortable and we get a high table that your legs just fit under and it's for only 4 people. The fifth person has to sit on the end of the table and has no room to eat comfortable. Before we had proper sit down tables with normal chairs.... NOT STOOLS!! I have spoken to ther people and they say the same thing and are not happy. I believe you will lose customers in the future if you don't pick your game up.

The good Old Mill Hotel, is everything you want in a pub food, drinks and live entertainment was a nice surprise, I suggest adding their app to the venue as it helps with ordering food and it is very easy to use. The food is what you can expect from the classic pub with its steaks and crumbed chicken, but also a few surprises with a noodle Bar attached, looking back I wished I tried the tomahawk steak maybe next time, there is also a play area for the children but it has seen much better days. The staff and service was great and servings were quite large so bring an empty stomach. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

  • Kalie Chaney

My family and I spent the day and night at The Mill as my son had to undergo a surgery. I must say we were very pleased with everything and everyone. The food was delicious and open all day which is rare in a venue. The staff in every department were friendly and helpful. The bed are comfortable and have smart TVs for times when your stuck bed bound. I want to thank everyone at the Mill for your dedication to the job. Having worked in hospitality for many years other clubs and hotels could learn a thing or two on how to run a successful business.

I loved coming to the Mill Hotel restaurant because it had both modern Australian and Asian kitchens. It was a great combo. Unfortunately, with the change of the owner, the Asian park of the kitchen was closed. No noodles or Laska anymore. I'm very disappointed. The last time we visited the entertainment for kids was not available. The steak was too dry, and the pizza was burned. The water glasses looked very old and brown inside, which was a little disgusting. 2 stars from me. Get the Laksa back!

The service at this venue was absolutely absurd I had never seen the performance by these people ever before in my life I had dinner and it was over priced and unfortunately under what I would call quality and I had just lost $1000 in the pokies and asked for a glass of coke and the dumbest waitress I had ever seen before in my life said no I need to be playing the machines so I called the manager and got my glass of coke order I highly recommend that anyone who is wanting to come here don’t go somewhere else and save your money

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff at The Mill who worked on the day of my birthday. Everyone was great from behind the bar, to bringing out the food, which was fantastic & all my guests complimented. In particular I would like to mention Anika, she was amazing from start to finish, nothing was too hard & had a smile on her face the whole time & made everything go smoothly, very accommodating. I would recommend The Mill for any functions, it was easy to book & was all arranged with Kelly the events manager without any problems, she was great.

I can vouch for my husband , definitely not a fake review . We went there yesterday after a family outing to the Easter show thought we would go to the Mill as we do every year after the show ,. We wanted to sit at a booth ( the place was very quiet ) the table did have a reservation at 6 but it was only 3.20 . A staff member said we couldn’t sit there as they had a booking at 6 and didn’t want to have to clean the table again . We left and had a lovely afternoon at the Crossroads with great service .

I stayed in the hotel for a week. The room was a good size and clean. Housekeeping every day is great at this price point. It is pretty close to the freeway, but if you're in the back rooms (1,2, 11, or 12), the road noise is not enough to wake you up. The bar is really spacious and inviting the food in the restaurant is really delicious and well priced. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Very happy

A great place to go for dinner. We went on a Thursday night for Trivia night which started at 7pm . It is free so grab a few of your relatives or friends for a fun night out We ate the most delicious pizza at a reasonable price. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Plenty of parking. Easy access for wheelchairs and prams. My only point I want to make is for elderly or disabled people get there early for trivia night otherwise you will have to sit at high tables and chairs which would be hard to get up on.

Thank you to Kelly at The Mill for going above and beyond, in organising my husband, 40th birthday party. From helping us organise the decorations and the cake to choosing the food and drink packages, Kelly was absolutely amazing. Her friendly nature and always being available made the process a breeze to organise. The food was amazing and so fresh and all the guests complemented the food and the venue. We had the best night and I highly recommend The Mill for your next event.

Dropped into The Mill while in the area for lunch. To say it was a delight is an understatement. What they have done to this well-known establishment is amazing. Beautiful full renovation with lots of alfresco dining. The food was delicious. Staff were very attentive and the service was exceptional. The Milperra Hotel is a must if in the area and certainly better choice to The Workers.

Ate here for lunch on a Friday. Great range across the menu. I shared the 1.2kg tomahawk with a mate and I was wasn't disappointed. The sides were very generous and the food was prepared very quickly. The steak was seasoned perfectly how the only downside was the consistency of the cook across the steak. One end was cooked medium, the other was cooked blue-rare. Both myself and mate like our steaks rare so we did a "scissors paper rock" to see who would eat what.

I would suggest this place is for adults only. Not really kids friendly as there is nothing for them to do. Food wise, if you are ok with nibbles and pizza then this is the place for you. The bar was nice and the drinks were fairly priced. Location wise, it's in the middle of an industrial estate, so not really close to anything. Something to experience once for the curious types.

Recently stayed in The Mill Hotel with a mixed review. An unfortunate incident with manager that tarnished our impression and definitely wouldn’t stay again. We booked through Qantas who charged us and the manager accused us off not paying. After a heated conversation said he would check with his boss, never to be seen again, no apology. The food is nice but expensive and $9 a beer. Rooms are nice.

Celebrated hubby’s 50th bday. Staff were wonderful, friendly, and helpful. Food was divine, from grazing table selections to main. Fantastic services from managers down to floor staffs. Venue location which had a function room/bar/outdoor garden (for smokers also)/rest rooms and accommodation all in one, was precisely what we searched for. Couldn’t have asked for more. Definitely one of the best pubs I've stayed at. The rooms are modern with all the conveniences of a typical motel. Large wall tv. Plenty of parking. The pub had a fantastic menu. The rooms were surprisingly quiet and removed from the main pub area. the most appealing aspect however was the management. A rare customer focused attitude. I'll be making this my regular motel when in the area.

Used to come here for good quality and well priced food, imagine our shock when we return after many months and the new owners have gotten rid of what used to be an amazing menu and replace with overpriced meals. Had one look at the new menu and walked out as they no longer had my favourite (the nachos) and also noticed it wasn’t as homey as it once was! Very upset, the place didn’t need changing honestly

This pub used to be our local for many years. Sadly, the new owners changed it completely. Our two favorite beers are no longer available and the food has changed for the worst (we had this horrible pizza smothered in Chipotle sauce which was disgusting). Sad how new owners routinely ruin what used to be great establishments.

The Mill has changed a lot since I was last there. What was once a typical uni pub with loud music and hundreds of drunk twenty-somethings is now a great spot to get dinner and chill outside in the undercover area with a few mates while watching the footy on the big screen. The beer is cold, the food is top quality and the atmosphere is relaxing. You should try the buffalo wings.

I went to check out the kids new play area with my 3 year old. It's fully enclosed which is great on rainy days. The games in there are similar to before. They've just swapped out a few old and put In a few new ones. Not much difference to be honest. Still a good place to have a drink and watch your kids play.

I went to the mill on a Saturday night around 9pm, the food arrived quick after ordering and it was lovely. It is a safe and fun place with a great range in the menu and good music to turn up to. My only complaints are the fact that bar only takes cash and that sometimes the DJ would let "boring" music play for too long. Overall good experience, will definitely come back.

We have a regular mid week dinner here and the food is always excellent. I am a big fan of their Chicken Schnitzels which are well cooked and their serving sizes are generous. The Classic is everything to me and my husband likes their Chicken Parmigiana. The menu pricing is very reasonable and the service good. Bar prices are the usual.

The Mill has been taken over by new owners, They have no shame in how they treat locals or people that have been going there for a life time, they call them intrusive, intimidating and rude. The only people that are rude are you management and staff, we as locals will not return and will not be recommending any one there as we have over more than 20 yrs.

The food is amazing and great value. The venue atmosphere on point. But most importantly to the amazing staff member that was working in the bistro (sorry forgot her name ‍♀️), she was so welcoming and helpful with food options. 100% on customer service. This was on Monday 21st around 2:30 pm …

Awesome hospitality, the staff here are fantastic and willing to take the time to help you out with what ever you need! The venues great with a good atmosphere, the foods great and I had a great time. Will definitely be returning to the mill! Thank you for a great night and great hospitality! Cam

Nice and open. Great atmosphere, quite modern. We went for a birthday and found it was a well spaced out function area. Not disturbed by other events and you could have a conversation. Great kitchen, bordering on the pricey side ($7 for a bowl of chips but a very generous portion). Ample parking.

Went for dinner the food came out cold service was poor I would not go back there, the standards have dropped they are all about gambling and what they get out of it definitely not a family friendly hotel anymore which is a shame it used to be great before new owners took over

Once upon a time the food at their restaurant was very good in terms of value. It is no longer the case. The new menu is extensive but prices have increased and the quality has decreased. The dishes we ordered were overly greasy. Rather disappointed as this was our go to place in the district.

  • Sarah ReMaw

We’ve been there only twice and twice the experience has been great. From the customer service while ordering our food to the wait staff. The food is great and the portions are very generous. There’s some where for the kids to play as well. Overall the atmosphere and experience is fantastic.

  • Kate Spears

An absolutely shocking food experience for my family. Including a hair in the kids meal, and an over cooked meal that was hard as a rock. Contacted them however they aren't interested and never got in touch. Never will we go back. Used to be great and fresh now its just very bad pub food.

Great food, good beer and friendly staff. The atmosphere is very friendly and comfortable. The staff are pleasant and polite. The food is amazing and drink is good. I'd recommend this place for a social hang out, Nice lunch/dinner out or for any function with their great function room.

  • Lachlan Harvey

I don't understand how the new owners can justify getting rid of mill Friday's, seems extremely counterproductive and I highly doubt you guys will be seeing the same sort of revenue coming in. Just why man? Must everyone travel ages out to the city to go for a dance? Very disappointing

Recently had my 21st birthday party at the mill, Kelly was amazing with the whole process and the workers were fabulous the night of the event, I would definitely recommend booking the private function room for any celebrations

This place was amazing, I’m vegan and find it so hard to get any decent food out . The vegan meal I got was fantastic, it was such great food combos . And the green onion pancake was phenomenal. Thank u for helping the vegans out with fresh beautiful food ✌️

What has happened, the new owners have destroyed the menu. I have been coming for years and years and it was perfect, now there is nothing left on the menu. It’s a waste of money and time, humiliating

Fantastic stay, friendly staff ,great food, comfortable accommodation, stayed for 3 night from Melbourne for an engagement party. The party at the Mill was great, very helpful professional staff, went off without a hitch. Definitely would stay again.

Came here for our Christmas work lunch and it was really lovely. The Caesar Salad was delish, the guy working there in a flowery shirt ( I think ), not sure if he is the manager but he is awesome, made us all feel welcome. Great sense of humour.

I had high expectations for my trip to The Mill based on friends reviews, but my personal experience fell short of this. I ordered the vegetarian nachos and my friend had a pizza with a sticky date pudding which, on paper, sounded great.

  • Lauren McLean

Perfect place for lunch. There's a couple of vegan options on the menu and all dishes are generous in size. The cauliflower pizza leaves a bit to be desired, but everything else I've had there is delicious!! The eggplant dish is #1 in my

Hosted a work Christmas celebration in the private function room on a Thursday night. It was easy to work with the lovely & effective events manager, Elisa. There was an intuitive layout for the event with a mixture of cocktail tables,

  • Mick B (mick)

Wouldn't waste your time management un accommodating rude to patrons, prices ridiculous has gone down hill since new owners taken over. Night clubs gone triva gone, social events for Easter and Christmas gone find somewhere else to go.

  • Kylie Masterton

They said on a Facebook ad that they had a new play area. It has moved around a bit but it was absolutely filthy and definitely not new, they had run out of hand sanitizer as well. It was disappointing considering the food was good.

  • Elle

Service was really fast. Staff were friendly and quick to service and provide food. There are two entry points to the premises with both also being exits. There's a bottle shop to the right side of the building and there is parking

  • Brad Bearman

Variety and quality is best in the area. Bar staff unfortunately lack personality and knowledge of their jobs. But I'm guessing the economy is to blame for this with most businesses in same boat

There for dinner with friends. Good food, our booking had been messed up but we were still able to find a table. 90 minute limit on bookings. No issue finding a parking spot on a Friday night.

Very wide range menu which all sounded delicious, we opted for the Wednesday night $15 pizza and it was absolutely shocking... liquid all at the bottom of the plate, base of the pizza flopping everywhere and no flavour at all.

  • Tracy Fragiacomo

Last minute change of plans meant we had to have a large takeaway order - rather then an eat-in meal. Please give them extra time to prepare. Everyone was really happy with their meal - fresh food, huge portions and delicious!

  • Andrew Hellyer

Good location for travel to western Sydney. But given the rooms are right next to the M5 motorway more money should have been spent on soundproofing. Plus the curtains were missing so the room was quite bright at night. More

Have been here a few times with the family and have always enjoyed the food. Ambience is nice, venue has soft lighting and toilet facilities are big and clean. The ceiling plants and display fountains add a nice touch.

  • Phuongie Nguyen

Don’t think you can get a cheese pizza for $10 anywhere these days except @themills Parking was easy and the steak melted in my mouth. Hubby had the chick schnitzel and says the creamy sauce was amazing too!

  • Dee Y

Beautiful pub venue. Lots of rooms and functions and live music Friday night. Huge menu selection. Mostly yum and generous servings. Unlikely to get the steak (scotch) again. Roast duck pancakes were a hit!!

  • Donna Arnault

Very busy, but food came quickly. Good portions and well priced. Group of 12, everyone enjoyed their meal.

Just had the Prawn Linguine at the mill at around 11am and it is bustling. Delicious food and I am feeling nourished and satisfied! Special thank you to the Chefs for making the meals with care! Yum!

  • Amanda H

Great local pub that is great for families. It provides an enclosed play space for the kids and an extensive menu. Recommended to book a table in advance. Provides high chairs and parking on site.

  • C Brady

Poor quality meal, my steak sandwich was burnt, steak was thin. Chicken schnitzel was basic. Overall Disappointing. Perhaps a change in kitchen, I recall the food being really nice at the Mill.

  • Bill Petro

Great service all night ,the pizzas were excellent and the Manager on was genually concerned that we were all having an enjoyable evening. Would highly recommend for a great night with friends.

  • Natalie Stevenson

Fantastic service today. The salad we ordered wasn’t great so we spoke to the manager. He happily replaced it and gave us a free drink at the bar. Great atmosphere and range of seating areas.

Nothing, just a room without any services. Staff did not help to carry luggage upstair even it's heavy for lady.
