The Moving Kings did a great job. They were fast, helpful and friendly. Our movers were Durell and James who were both efficient and pleasant. I highly recommend them. Jack, the owner, whom I initially spoke to was on point, he gave me a realistic timeline and was always available. He answered all my questions quickly, and was very helpful throughout the whole process. He checked in on us, and gave me a discount at the end because there was a minor technical issue with my bed. That was generous because these were already off season rates! The only gripe I do have is that my armoire legs got ruined, but it was an IKEA piece with their weird compacted wood, and it weighed a ton, so I think no matter who moved it, it was probably going to be damaged. If you have IKEA products they probably aren't going to make it through a move with zero damage so I don't actually blame the guys for this, I just want people to be aware that with cheap furniture that's bound to happen. Apart from that, as with most moves some of the furniture did have minor damage, like a hole through the fabric of the underside of my sofa, and a little wear and tear on the IKEA bed and dresser but all things considered they did a great job and we couldn't have done better!!!

I hired a 3-man crew from The Moving Kings for my move earlier today, and I will happily recommend them to absolutely EVERYONE!! Pros: PUNCTUAL/RESPONSIVE: Prior to the day of the move, Jack confirmed our appointment via text— which is always nice; and on the day of, the crew actually asked to show up EARLY (but we decided to hold our scheduled time). EXPERTISE/PROFESSIONALISM: The guys were extremely careful with all of our belongings, and they were such a pleasure to chat with while they moved our things. We shared laughs, traded stories, and learned that one of the crew members was a veteran who served in Afghanistan. While they were unloading the truck, they ensured that each item was placed in the correct room. PRICING: The Moving Kings had the best hourly rate AND the best Travel Fee of any company that I received quotes from. Their pricing was very easy to calculate with no hidden fees, which made it easy to budget for. Cons: None. Anything about my move that left a bad taste in my mouth was not the fault of the crew. They were professionals through and through. This was BY FAR the best move I’ve ever made.

The Moving Kings is AWESOME!! They were lifesavers for us. Quicken Loans totally screwed up our closing and we had rush to adjust. I called around all day trying to find reputable movers that were going to be concerned about not damaging our newly built home and fit us in on such a tight timeline. Jack answered the call and I let him know that we really needed people to be considerate of our new home. While I was skeptical based on his response, I was wrong to be. The Moving Kings delivered. The first thing the movers said when they greeted us was, "I hear you are concerned about damaging your new home? Do not worry. We will be very careful." And they were. They were professional, considerate, and careful the entire time. They communicated and checked in throughout the moved and they were moving with a sense of urgency at the same time. We have moved with the help of Moving King twice already and it was seamless and efficient every time. I highly recommend them for any of your moving as well as packing/unpacking needs. Pros: Great communication before my move. Jack was very helpful and quick to respond. The moving team showed up early. Cons: One of my bookcases was damaged during the move. It no longer stands upright, but leans about 6 inches (which makes me afraid to put books on it). To hide the damage, the movers placed the bookcase in the corner of the room, so that it could lean against the wall. I did not notice the damage until I tried to center the bookcase on the wall. I wish they would have informed me about the damage instead of trying to hide it. Update: Jack contacted me after posting this. He apologized for his team, and he came over to repair my bookshelf. It still doesn't stand fully straight, but it is able to support its own weight without leaning on a wall, which is much better than it was before. I appreciate him trying to make things right. +2 stars.

I can't compliment the Moving Kings enough. Communication out of the gate was very fast, clear, and informative. Jack, the owner went above and beyond with us when our babies crib was accidentally damaged during the move. It was nothing serious, but Jack jumped right in to quickly remedy the situation. We were not met with excuses and he was beyond helpful in making us feel taken care of. We had three movers to move a 3 bedroom home, and while they were caught in rain that generally slowed things down, the crew took great care with our belongings and still had us fully moved in before sundown. Made to feel very safe with their Covid precautions and would 100% recommend this team and use them again for anything we need help with in the future. Thank you Jack and team!

The Moving Kings gave me an accurate quote after viewing my house. I was pleased with the team that came out, they were nice, used their time efficiently, and worked quickly. They padded the front door to prevent scratches, but probably should have done more wall corners as I need to go repaint one that got ripped up. That might be on me for wanting the move done quickly. There was one accident where a block of wood on my table that should have been nailed in slipped out of place and scratched the top. It was the fault of the manufacture who built it, but Jack, the owner, was nice enough to come out and fix it. I really appreciated that he took his own time to do so! Over all, I think their price is fair, the workers are great, and I am happy with the service.

The Moving Kings were great to work with from start to finish! We reached out to them to see if we could set up a weekend move on short notice. Jack helped us plan, confirm, and coordinate a two-man crew for our move. The day of our move, both Jack and the Moving Kings crew called us to coordinate and confirm locations, which I really appreciated. The Moving Kings arrived, had our boxes loaded, and furniture wrapped and carefully moved; we met them at our new address and they quickly had everything staged and moved inside. They know what they are doing; they had all our things moved from old location to new location in under three hours! If you want to take the stress out of moving, hire the Moving Kings.

These guys are terrible. They didn’t unpack my stuff. They left me with boxes on my front porch. They never put parts,cords, or adapters with the pieces of furniture they go to. I can’t find the adapters to my lazy boys. I can’t find the plug to my TV. I couldn’t find the screws to the handles on my refrigerator. My back is killing me. I still have a weeks worth of work ahead of me, and I paid over $6000 for my move from Austin to Dallas. The driver of the truck didn’t even bring tools with him to put my furniture back together after they took it apart. I wish I could give them zero stars, but this program makes you give them at least one star to rate them. Never never never use them….ever!!!!!

I used this company for a one bedroom move in downtown Austin. They were some of the best movers I ever had. I was in a bind and needed movers the next day to help me pick up a bed and couch - from two different spots - and put everything together in my place. I called The Moving Kings at 7PM on a Friday and Jack had me booked for the following day with two movers. I also was in a time crunch and needed them at my location by 3. Movers Brandon and Alejandro were troopers and worked through their lunch break - in the middle of August heat no less - to ensure they met that deadline. They were polite and efficient, wrapping up everything in just under two hours - all with a great attitude! Highly recommend.

Cain and Carlos came to help us move from our apartment into our home. They both made quick work of what would have taken me at least a couple of days to do on my own. We were moved out of our old place and into the new one in 3 hours. They even were careful to avoid bouncing the dollies as they went down the stairs. They even wrapped the doorways and put out a rubber carpet to avoid scuffing doorways and our flooring! These guys know exactly what they need to do and how to do it! I cannot recommend them enough - they are worth their weight in gold!

We used The Moving Kings for our unloading of the furniture since we were moving to Austin area from another state. He came highly recommended by a friend who used his service before. The guys who showed up were very courteous. They arrived on time and did a great job. They did however forgot to finish assembling of guest bed. I sent pictures to Jack and he showed up in-spite of busy schedule and finished the job. I was impressed by Jacks professionalism and would recommend him to our friends and also use him in future for any move needs.

I want to double underline what people have said about how incredible this team is!! I had a really difficult moving situation- apartment with slow elevators near downtown (no great truck parking) to a condo with *3* floors. The team was so efficient and kind, it was a LOT to move but they knew what they were doing, worked together and with me to get it done. Great communication and execution of the shipment all around! I was kept up to date with the schedule and received confirmation of the scheduled date/time prior to my moving date. The movers were outstanding and wrapped all our belongings, as well as let us know of any issues they ran into along the way (I had an armoire with a broken leg, they made sure I was aware it was already broken). They were quick in and quick out for loading/unloading, these guys rock!!

I was slightly worried when I couldn't get anyone on the phone the day before the move to verify everything, but on my move day they actually showed up early and did an amazing job. This was a great moving experience. Jack was prompt in responding to my request for booking, very available for questions and upfront about the costs.
