Raw walnuts, pistachios, cashews, Brazil nuts, almonds I have bought here were all absolutely fresh and tasty AS LONG AS they are sold in a sealed bag. I have given up on Woolworths and Coles: I had to throw away so much I bought at those supermarkets (both packaged and bulk) because their walnuts, pistachios, almonds, peanuts were rancid and stale... I fear some could have been laced with aflatoxin, too. I am not going to risk that anymore and will keep buying from a quality source like The Nut Shop. Their prices are reasonable, too, compared to the big guys. Just remember, I am recommending the sealed bags and NOT those sold out of the open jars. I recently got some stale raw hazelnuts that way. Hazelnuts spoil quickly in open air, sunlight, and high humidity.

I came across this little shop walking through the Strande Arcade. There are so many delicious goodies here especially being a lover of nuts! I got savoury nuts which are not too salty to snack on and bought honey coated macadamias, milk choc macadamias & dark chocolate almonds. All are delicious & the chocolate is good quality, not too sugary & well coated around the nuts. Staff are so friendly & helpful & prices are fair. Love it.

Went there last Sunday evening to buy salted halves macadamia. There is 2 ladies on the store. When the store assistant provided us to try some, it doesnt taste fresh, so we request them to provide us with new ones. She insisted its still new and provided us with whats left. Brought it home and tried it... it is clearly not fresh macadamias.. there is a weird smell already

Rancid & stale stock, especially in the loose nut range. Soggy & soft nuts. No expiry date provided. Friend suffered toxic reaction. Complained to manager Vicki Hyman about the quality that it's a health standards breach. Ignored us. Avoid at all costs. Chocolate products taste like cheap couverture with awful smell. Overall: BAD QUALITY & OVER-PRICED. Rude staff.

I absolutely love The Nut Shop - it's a family owned business with the nicest and most helpful staff! I am a huge chocolate lover and visit every time I am in the area to pick up my favorites: Vienna Almonds and the Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Clusters. Also, I recently purchased the Hamper gift for a family event and it was a huge hit.

I have been a long time customer of The Nut Shop and everything I purchase is always fresh and top quality. The chocolates are amazing – much better than anywhere else with an amazing variety (in both milk and dark chocolate). The nuts are far superior than elsewhere. The quality of all products sold is just tops!

Im pretty sure it is family owned. Very friendly bunch of young girls tried to assist me :) They didn't give me samples and I got quite a lot of chocolate. Lets just say... I didn't finish it, but i also had just purchased expensive chocolate as well 5 minutes prior. Good luck guys :) Wish you the best.

This place is an absolute Sydney institution - family owned and run in the glorious Strand Arcade. The chocolate is beautiful and they have so many different varieties of everything. Totally fresh. My favourite is ordering a big box of mixed dark creams which they will make up while you wait. Go there.

Every time I go to Sydney I always go to this shop. The chocolates and nuts are absolutely delicious and of the highest quality.The staff is all genuinely friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable. The last time I went up I discovered their orange peel in chocolate. They are out of this world !!!

Ok, so it's expensive. $10 for a bag of caramelized cashews and close to that for flavoured almonds. But the quality is extremely good. The nuts are roasted to perfection and each mouthful is delectable. Definitely worth it as a gourmet souvenir, but not an everyday purchase.

Wonderful and tasty delights For sweet things I recommend the Vienna Almonds and the Chocolate Sultanas, and for something savoury nothing beats the Chili or Herb Macadamias. My trips to the Sydney CBD are never complete without a wander into the shop.

I am disappointed about Walnut in shell. I’ve been shopping from there every month. I know a bit expensive then others but fresh nuts so important for me so I’m happy to pay more. Last time I bought two kilos of Walnut which was terrible.

A friend of mine has bought me a gift from this shop. Now, I'm a regular customer. High quality, no doubt about that but very expensive. If you love someone and they like nuts or dry fruits, this is the best place to go to!

여기 한국인들이 잘 모르는데 정말 강추 마카다미아부터 시작해서 헤이즐넛, 피스타치오 등등 없는 견과류가 없음 가격도 상대적으로 저렴한 편이고, 시즈닝 되어있는 견과류들도 많아서 고르는 재미가 쏠쏠함!
