I booked here for a deep tissue/ cupping massage. In my form I stated I was having pain/discomfort in my back/upper right shoulder. When The RMT asked me what type of pressure I liked, I told her, again, deep tissue pressure. I also explained my pain and discomfort again. (As she explained she read my file) During the massage she spent hardly any time in the targeted areas I mentioned. She didn’t do any cupping to release any pain, and the pressure was pretty much non exciting. My massage was suppose to be an hour, I arrived to the room at 1251 and was done by 143?? When she asked me how I was feeling, I explained I felt the same as I did when I arrived. She basically told me to try a different RMT or to go back to the previous ones I’ve had in the past for deep tissue … The receptionist was super sweet and understanding. She did take 25% off my bill.. however, it was a pretty disappointing massage, not worth the money and definitely not what I asked for!

I was given a gift card for a prenatal massage at my baby shower. When booking for the appointment, I attempted online but for some reason it was not working for me. I contacted the spa and the receptionist was beyond kind and understanding. She assisted me in a very professional manner and was not only able to book my appointment right on the spot, but she fit me in for the following week! During my appointment; Katelyn was amazing! She made me feel extremely comfortable from the beginning to the end of our session. Not only was the massage spectacular; Katelyn focused on areas that I requested more attention. For being 9months pregnant… I feel incredible! Thank you! I highly recommend Katelyn & the Orchid. What a fantastic staff and a beautiful relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely be back soon.

I have had massages in the past at other places, and this was my first time at Orchid. I came in today with a very hurt shoulder and sore back. Delia came in, discussed the areas that needed focusing on. She made sure the pressure was good and that I wasn't uncomfortable. She explained what she was feeling and advised what I could do to help the pain. The only downside to the appointment was I could hear the person in the room beside me, which means they could hear me. When I go for a massage, I image only hearing the calming music and sometimes talking with the RMT, not the loud talking from the rooms beside me. Otherwise, great experience. I'll be rebooking for sure!

The owner dosnt care about staff safety/health or customer satisfaction, I had to cancel late NOT within the 48 hour time due to a Covid exspoure and was charched 135.60$ to my credit card the next day for late cancellation!!! Took me FOUR attempts to get in contact with the owner who was busy, then in a meeting then actually didn’t come in to work ‍♀️ And when I asked would you have rather me come in and potentially have exposed your staff to Covid she told me “ This is our policy, and this conversation won’t change and you won’t get refund” …… Terrible business practice do NOT recommend on the owner alone

I haven't had many, but this was hands down the best massage I've ever had. Lindsay's style of massage was exactly what I was going for with a relaxation massage. Slow, steady, with a healthy mix of firm and light. If I lived in Kingston I'd be a regular, but instead I'll settle for booking a massage from her every time I'm in town in the future. The place got a bit noisy with some conversations in other rooms and other noises, but it wasn't enough to make the massage and less enjoyable.

I loved my experience at The Orchid! The atmosphere was amazing from the second I walked through the door. The pre treatment consultation was very thorough and my preexisting conditions were well considered. There were plenty of check ins and adjustments to ensure my comfort and that I wasn't experiencing any pain. At the end, we discussed my results and future plans for even better results. Very happy with my experience here.

Had a gift certificate given to me for a massage. This place was absolutely BEAUTIFUL ! The design was very conducive to relaxation. The staff were not only friendly but very professional! The massage was the best I've ever experienced hands down!. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. You will never be disappointed! This will become my go-to massage & wellness spot! I Showed up for my appointment as a new client. The appointment time arrived and I was informed by the receptionist that the therapist was not able to come in. I got a babysitter and drove almost an hour to get there for my appointment. Very disappointed with how unprofessional the therapist was to give zero notice. While it might look pretty I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

I have been having hip pain after weight-loss surgery . I just happened to book with Lindsay and all I can say is she is actually amazing . Kind , competent and just genuinely really great . She created a plan with me , she did not make me feel uncomfortable with my body and she is helping address the issue . From reception to massage I have been having a wonderful experience.

Very relaxing massage and inviting atmosphere! Have had 2 massage here with 2 different therapisrs and both were great at what they do! My new massage place as it's easy to book in and they direct bill :) My only issue was the rooms don't always seem very soundproof as can hear conversations in the hall or front entry at times which can be distracting from the relaxation.

The place is beautiful. However, due to traffic, I was running behind. When I called and asked if this would affect my time, she informed me that the therapist I was seeing had no one else, so it wouldn't affect my time. I got there and my massage was cut in half and I had to pay for the whole hour. Needless to say, I will not be returning. The therapist was amazing.

From the moment you walk in to preparing for your massage, the entire environment is very calming, clean and the overall experience is just wonderful. First time visiting this spa. I loved the atmosphere. Lindsay was gave a great massage. I particularly liked that she explained why I was sore in certain areas and gave me exercises to help between appointments. I immediately booked a second appointment. I have been to many massage therapists and she is one of the best.

The Orchid has things worked out perfectly, from the ease of their booking system to the professionalism of all their staff, and the calibre of their services. My RMT got to the root/knot of the problem in a few appointments in a way no one else had previously. Will not go anywhere else now that I’ve found them!

Absolutely lovely massage. Receptionist is warm and inviting and Lindsay the masseuse is unreal. Only recommendation or change I'd make it sound proofing in the rooms and possibly trying to make the HVAC system a bit quieter. But if you're looking for a good massage in Kingston I highly recommend this place.
