This place has got great potential but the experience was far too short and definitely not worth the money. Spending around £100 for a family of 4 for about 20 minutes of play time is just not worth it. We all came away with a feeling of "Is that it?", which is a shame because the time in-game was enjoyable. Despite having a slot for an hour we spent less than 35 minutes total on the premises and that included locking our stuff away, registering players, loo break, safety briefing, a short VR acclimatisation exercise, the main adventure and then a team photo. ----------------------------------- UPDATE - we were contacted by the venue after we left the above review, and their customer service was superb. I hope that they re-introduce the mini-games segment because that makes a big difference to the overall experience. Our second time was so much better than the first because of this. (Have given them an extra star because of how well they responded)

Beware - they've halved the experience while charging the same amount of money due to an unexplained 'new policy' This VR experience used to be a quick go on a high rise plank game, then 30 minutes of various mini games on the HTCs. After that, it was onto the full experience for another half an hour. So, a full hour worth of experience. Now they have removed the entire middle section, despite the HTCs being sat unused (in pic shown). The manager admitted to me they could turn them on but wouldn't due to the new policy. So now it's the plank then the VR game. Pretty pitiful. It is no longer remotely worth the money. Avoid it you don't want to be ripped off. Arcade Club in Leeds is considerably better value for money.

Experience for 6 (experience advised an hour needed). A little bit of a wait and then a mini experience taking a couple of minutes per person and then a further wait of another 10-15 minutes. Actual game time for the event was about 25 minutes. At almost £40pp although everyone really enjoyed it, it's a little on the expensive side and not somewhere you'd visit often due to price and value. Having said that, although everyone thought it was short, all agreed it was an excellent experience and want to go again. Thank you

Everything about The Park Playground has been fantastic from start to finish. It was easy to find and accessible to get to. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the actual building is immaculate. As for the actual VR experience it was easily a 10/10 experience. Everything was easy to understand for all age groups so it’s for more than just young people. The 2 games we did were really fun and immersive. It was a brilliant day all around and I’d highly recommend this for a fun day out.

Sadly, this business has made a huge mistake. We've been 10+ times and you always get 25-30 mins on the mini games before you get to go the big one. Theyve removed this part and not notified anyone and kept the fees the same, so this has become a very expensive affair now. I would not recommend, price wise it is just not worth it. Family of four, over £100 spent and in and out in 35 mins. Dissapointing... and this business used to be really really great. Greed taking over.

If you're wondering if you should do a Party here for kids? do it! All the kids had 'the best party ever!' A big thankyou to all your wonderful staff for making the day amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend. Also to note, that while sorting the party out, they were very responsive on questions; So probably some of the best customer service I've come across too.

Absolutely fantastic experience at The Park Playground! The venue, space and location is perfect. The hosts were amazing and settled us into the various games and looked after us throughout… we played the snitch and it was a great family friendly game. I’ve never done virtual reality before but it was a wonderful experience and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Would recommend it to anyone thinking of booking at the park playground!

Absolutely amazing place! Held our sons 13th birthday party here and they couldn’t be more helpful or professional. The place is very clean and new, with state of the art equipment and has free parking outside. The boys loved every second and the staff were so friendly and it felt like nothing was too much trouble. They even let our 7 year old play for free! Cannot recommend this place enough. We will be back!

Wow, we loved it, staff (Tom) was amazing, helpful, knowledgeable and excellent with our teens. They loved it, the Tech is superb, so much better than any other VR we've experienced. The venue is bright, welcoming and extremely clean. Loved the cafe too as I could have a coffee whilst the boys played. Can not recommend highly enough, excellent fun well worth a visit, we'll definitely be back.

Booked to play 'The Hollow' for my son's birthday party. The group of 7 enjoyed themselves immensely, and thought it was amazing experience. Would highly recommend and the staff were very attentive and friendly and made everyone feel at ease. Matthew has been extremely helpful in helping to arrange the party and take care of all the arrangements. We opted for catering and the food was great too!

Absolutely unreal. Did not realise it would be so good and already excited to do it again. It's proper gaming, you aren't justice a spectator with a controller giving instructions, you're completely involved and feel part of the game. Best part of it though, it stays fun and you want more. I recommend it to everyone. The staff are fantastic, happy and helpful and couldn't be better.

Great place. We went there for my sons 11th birthday party and we had such a great time. Kids loved it , experience was wonderful and intense and the staff was wonderful from any point of view. Very helpful and attentive. 5 ⭐️ for sure and would recommend it for either a party or just a family time

This was a hidden gem in an area of Leeds thats easily accessible. Loads of free parking directly outside and around the vicinity. Nice date night experience altho it wasn't as "private" as I thought it would be. - it's a big room and if there's other people there at the same time they can see you play. They offer drinks which is nice too

Fab experience for two people who had never tried VR! My husband is a gamer and I am definitely not, but we both equally enjoyed it! There are other people in the room which I thought I would be self conscious about, but actually as soon as you have that headset on you forget about everyone else! Fun way to spend an afternoon.

Absolutely amazing afternoon at the park VR playground. Josh, our host was so good. The kids loved him. He explained everything clearly and wanted us to get the most out of the experience which made it even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back, but the kids have already said they’ll only go if Josh is working!!

Josh and Luke were great hosts, they were welcoming and made the day been better. I would honestly recommend anyone tries this out for something new. An amazing experience! We played the zombie survival game and there were around 8 of us! You start off with some practice games before doing the main survival experience. It was amazing and highly addictive, we didn't want it to end. Overall I definitely recommend this experience with a group, it's great fun

Really good experience of VR games i have played home VR before but the free roaming in game with the open area much improves the whole experience. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to experience some VR. Katie was an excellent hostess for my group many thanks will look to visit again in the future.

Managed to try out The Hallows game for free on their opening day, was really fun however the resolution appeared to vary at times, started getting blurry towards the end of the game. One of our group also didn't have a points total at the end. Would try it again though!

What a fantastic experience, we were a group with an age range of 20 to 60+ and everyone loved it. Staff were brilliant and on hand if needed. There is a lovely bar area with a good variety of drinks. I will be back with my 9 year old who can't wait to have a go.
