Highly recommended, had a great experience! Got looked after by the awesome Bec. Gave me a really thorough analysis of my running action, really helpful to see it on the iPad. Then gave me a couple of options to try on the treadmill and outside on the pavement. This was great as I was planning to combine pavement running with gravel tracks, so really helpful to actually feel the different shoes at work before making a decision. Then gave me a couple of options in colour to make sure I was happy there too. Its been 8-10 years since I bought running shoes and I couldn't be happier with the high level of service and attention to detail I received! Wasn't planning on heading out tonight but I don't think I can wait to put these bad boys into service!

My podiatrist recommended I needed to buy new pair of shoes. So I visited The LILYDALE running company, they were very thorough, played back the video they recorded while I walked in the treadmill to see if / what was required, measured me foot to be sure they had the correct size, because all this time I have been wearing shoes that were too small and creating issues. Recommend couple of pairs. I bought the NB880, very comfortable shoe, while waking I have noticed the pain in my foot is subsiding as a result. Should have gone there earlier ! I have and would highly recommended The LILYDALE running company to anyone who requires new waking/running shoes. Great bunch very welcoming, and knowledgeable experienced people. I will be back.

The staff are really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Just got back into running, and bought the same type of shoe that I use to wear, cheap online, but got a few niggles. Turns out my running style had changed and I was in the wrong type. It was great getting sound advice, being able to try different fits, and giving each a test run outside the store. It helped me pick the perfect shoe and size. The niggles have improved, and my feet are now really comfy. The price paid to be fitted properly far outweighed the saving, wasted money and physical discomfort from buying online. Lesson learned, I will be back to the Running Company for my next pair soon.

Highly recommended! Ash was absolutely fantastic and knowledgeable. The shoes that I wanted weren't available, so he ordered them and had them sent to my house, he also reached out to make sure that they were delivered. Unfortunately, the padding was not suited to my feet, which I discovered when I went for my first proper run. I then called the store and was asked to come back in. Ash reassessed the fit, reassuring me that they were best suited for my feet. Ash then provided me with different insoles, which felt much more comfortable. I have successfully run 16kms pain-free which I have never done before. Thanks so much guys! I will be back for sure.

I am from regional Vic, so no decent running shoe stores anywhere!! I took a trip to Lilydale & to The Running Company ( 3 hr drive) so I could get next level advice when purchasing the correct shoe for myself. I am 12 months post op ACL & needed trail running shoes that offered stability, padding underfoot , nil break in time. The Running Company helped me with, factual information about each shoe type, nothing was to much trouble , no hard sell, get to try shoes on treadmill to get a proper - which leads to a confident happy purchase . Cannot recommend The Running Company more highly! Very stress free and enjoyable experience as I had an appointment booked prior to going (free of charge) so they were very patient and let me take as long as I needed to feel comfortable before making a purchase. Staff are very polite and have a lot of knowledge so I was offered plenty of suitable shoes to try for my feet and ended up leaving with a great pair that I have now been wearing for a month and are the comfiest shoes I’ve ever had! I believe it was Bec that helped me, she was amazing!

I felt a bit intimidated booking my fitting appointment as I have been running (for fun) for 15 years but embarrassingly, have never had a proper fitting....however, that was a complete waste of energy as I had such a great experience. Bec was so attentive as I tried on 4 or 5 different brands. Not once did I feel rushed or pressured and walked away with a pair of runners that not only improved my knee pain, but also improved my speed. December 2021 - It was great to be fitted professionally for running shoes. I was able to try multiple brands of shoes on the treadmill which enables the most informed purchasing decision. Love my purchase and will be back for my next purchase. August, 2022 - I was back, this time for some trail shoes. I tried on 5 different shoes differing brands, price and ride type.
