Allegiant Air STRANDED 12 passengers @ AUS S refusing to board them on 740am flight fr AUS to PVU, Th. Nov 16th. The 12 waited in line for over an HOUR w/ONLY 1 agent @ticket gate. @ 730am, agent pulls 12 passengers from line & says, we are ON OUR OWN and THEY CAN'T help us. The mgr is called to speak with us. We wait, no Mgr until after our flight has taken off. Then the mgr LIES saying that he's going to refund us. He adds it up & shows me on the calculator, how much will be my refund. "Gosh he's so nice".i ask him a question and he says, "oh i just shut off my computer. " and laughs. He had told me earlier that he didn't work for Allegiant and so I asked how he could refund me. The mgr says that he'll make notes for the refund. As he rattles off the refunding charges, I ask him what are the last 4 digits of the card that will be credited.... he says, "oh I just turned off my computer, AGAIN?? and don't forget the chuckle. He "reminds me that it will take 5-7 days for the refund to show.. at that point, because I BELIEVED that the manager was going to refund me, I booked a last-minute SW flight and paid $1500 for three ONE WAY travel. I call allegiant customer service ON HOLD 4EVER. And I'm told there is no refund and that I've forfeited my funds. A ticketing manager w/power & control issues, with no regard for one who not only lost thousands of dollars for a 1 way flight, but also a FULL DAY of their vacation, which is why we booked a 7am flight. One couple was willing to wait until the Sun flight but were denied. One passenger fled to try and get a flight at the main airport. And another was told that they would also get a refund. But when they called Allegiant, it was a lie. The manager had told them that the couple had forfeited their money. I have 3 boys around the same age as this ticketing manager, and I'll spend the rest of my life thanking God they they didn't turn out like this cocky, compulsive liar that lacks much character. Wonder what he'll contribute to the world.
I feel like the South Terminal gets a bad rep for no reason on here. It’s VERY small and practically the size of a house, but that’s part of the beauty of it for me. Lines are always ridiculously short, whether it is TSA security, grabbing some snacks before your flight, restrooms, etc. Compare this to any other major airport or even the major terminal in Austin and it’s a night and day difference. Yes, the shuttle system between terminals (that I admittedly have yet to utilize) sounds like a nightmare, and the city should have considered that into account for this recently built terminal. If you plan on sticking with Allegiant or Frontier it should be fine. But if for whatever reason you have a layover here (which I’d be more impressed you got yourself into a scenario like that, quite frankly…), starting at one of those airlines and hopping on one not mentioned, then I would definitely account for a lot of time to be safe. My only gripe might be that when waiting for your flight, seating can be practically impossible to find, pending on delays, or how many flights are leaving at once. Also, the tarmac to board is completely outside, so I guess that would be unfortunate in the rain (hasn’t happened to me quite yet) That being said, parking here has never been an issue for me, and getting to breeze right through lines is always a blessing. Say what you want about Frontier or Allegiant, but for my money, it’s almost more worth it getting a flight out of here for this terminal alone for the ease of boarding.
I have flown into the Barbara Jordan Terminal on Southwest several times in the past, but this week I flew into Austin on Allegiant, so I went through the South Terminal. First off, the terminal is way too small. There is only one baggage belt in an area that is about the size of a small corner store, and I came in on a nearly full Airbus A320. My family and I had to take a shuttle to the Barbara Jordan Terminal because we rented a car for our trip and the shuttle service was awful! We sat in the shuttle for 20-30 minutes because “it wasn’t full enough” (the shuttle was near capacity) When the shuttle finally left, we had to go AROUND the airport grounds to get to the main terminal which took about another 20 minutes. The South Terminal is supposed to close next year for new development, but for the time being I would avoid flying into Austin on Allegiant or Frontier. I have never had problems flying in and out of the Barbara Jordan Terminal.
This is where Allegiant and frontier fly from. You need to either park here for $10 a day or have someone come to this spot to pick you up. Otherwise you are stuck with the terrible shuttle service from the main terminal to the south terminal. The shuttle service is never prepared either. They could look at flight schedules and plan their pick up schedule that way but that is not the case. You have to call them each time for a ride and they always take about 15-30 minutes to get to you. And the shuttle is not doing any regular routes as you’ll notice because it’s empty each time it arrived to pick up the people that called it. Amazing how bad they are with planning their shuttle service. Some people have even missed their flights become they didn’t know you had to call for a shuttle. Take this review as a warning if you can’t afford to park at south terminal or have someone pick you up here.
Economy parking is close to terminal and an easy walk to entrance. When leaving the parking area at night, the exit can be a bit difficult to find. It is on the opposite end from the terminal and the meter machine where you pay is dark. Suggest you have your flashlight from your phone handy to see which way to insert credit card. Strongly advise you arrive 2 hours before flight especially if there is another flight leaving the terminal within a half hour of yours. You can check this out on departures on Austin Airport website. There is only one TSA line and it will back up with two flights. The taco truck outside is awesome. Food is reasonably priced and delicious. We enjoy leaving from this terminal because of its size but beware of the number of flights leaving at the time of your departure and plan accordingly.
This little section of the airport is very small. Seems that there's only people waiting in here for one or two flights at a time. I quite like that though... almost seems like a little private and less crowded version of the other part of the Austin airport. . There's also a very nice little outdoor/patio sort of area that has a food truck and lots of lounge-style seating. Not something you see often (or ever in my case) in an airport. They serve alcohol here too so it really makes it a cool little hangout area before your flight. . Only issue is that being such a small building the bathrooms here are quite small with only 2 stalls each and there's usually a line to use them as the terminal fills up before the flights. . But this place is great! Actually wish all my flights from Austin departed from this spot.
For a family with young kids, the direct flight isn’t worth flying to this terminal and using allegiant. The only positive was the backyard patio which had a covered area and beer. The negatives include unreliable shuttle service and a hard check in process; it takes at least 20 minutes to get to the main terminal. It took us an hour to get to the main terminal for our rental car on a Friday night and we couldn’t easily get a ride shares due to high demand. I got a intense pat down search by TSA leaving because we brought unopened baby formula through security. Other airports have less invasive ways to handle this. The direct flight wasn’t worth the pain of flying through this terminal. If you are from Austin and could park directly at the terminal, it’s a better situation.
Flew Frontier into the South Terminal 6/11 from Denver. Plane arrived 20 minutes early (9:20 instead of 9:40). Flight was full. Waiting waiting waiting for luggage ... no one to ask. No one around except increasingly more irritated passengers. Many with little kids and gate checked strollers. No where to put their kids! Late night. Everyone tired. Finally a guy who presumably worked for the South Terminal came in and told everyone the baggage people were working hard to get our bags. Yeah right. At 10:55 - an hour and a half after we deplaned, the carousel finally started. I have NEVER seen such inefficiency at an airport ... and I've flown into quite a few "questionable" locations. SOMEONE NEEDS TO GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER! I will never fly into this terminal again.
South terminal is a joke. Good in concept, stupid in delivery. You know how airlines tell you to be at the gate 2 hrs before departure? Well if you take the shuttle (which you pretty much have to unless you’re being driven) the shuttle for the first flight in the morning doesn’t depart until 1 hr before boarding. It’s a 15 min drive over, factor in checking bags and 150 other people arriving at exactly the same time and you’ve got a recipe for disaster. I don’t understand why the south terminal can’t run a dang shuttle at all hours. But no, they want to pick up 80 people at once on a few shuttles that fit 20. Oh and the food. Aboa has no food options outside of the gates while you wait and south terminal food doesn’t open until ridiculously late.
All Frontier and Allegiant flights are routed through The South Terminal - which I didn't realize until we landed. This might not be a big deal if they were closer together, but it's a 25 minute drive to get between terminals, and shuttle service is infrequent. I imagine if you live in Austin, it's a super convenient way to travel, but as a visitor, it was a huge hassle to deal with going to and from the main terminal to deal with the rental car. Budget extra time on either side of your trip. Once inside, the small terminal is okay, at least. The staff are friendly, there's just enough to eat and drink (this might be my first experience with an airport food truck?), and mostly enough places to sit.
Do not fly into this terminal if you have to rent a car from the airport!!! Flew into here a couple of years ago without knowing it was going to land here. There are no rental counters here and you will be at the mercy of the shuttle transport to get you back to the main terminal so you can then walk across to get to the car rental counters. Depending on traffic to get back to the main terminal and lines of people waiting for the shuttle could add a lot more time than expected. Give yourself plenty of time if you have to drop a rental car and depart from this terminal. If you can arrange for someone to pick you up or Uber/Lyft/Taxi from here then I guess this terminal is OK.
The worst airport ever. Spend the extra money if you have kids. Every time I'm here, the workers at the check in counter mess up. I always have to get out of line in security and go back to the check in line because the worker didn't give me what I asked for which was a boarding pass for my son and a gate pass for myself. The last guy gave me a boarding pass that didn't even have my sons name on it! AND he told me I didn't need a gate pass and laughed at me when I asked for one. Nope didn't give me one. Had to wait in line and guess what!? I needed a damn gate pass. Go figure. Something like this happens every time, this place stresses me out to the max.
We boarded allegiant air to Vegas for a 6am flight 5/29. Angel (I believe- short red hair) the gate agent, and baggage check lady was pretty awesome and had a great personality. She should be promoted for sure. Her personality wants you to keep coming back and supporting the brand. Many companies are lacking genuine customer hospitality and angel can help train people how to be excellent in client satisfaction. I’m not sure if she works for the airport or the airline. Either way she is great. This terminal has its quirks but it’s not nearly as big as the main terminal and I had to go through TSA twice and it took less than 5 minutes each time.
Second time going to this terminal. First time was smooth and fast with not a ton of food options. For the second time, we were a little bit early for our flight after checking out and went straight through TSA. We sat down for 15 minutes and we were told we need to exit for “sanitation cleaning” and go through TSA all over again. It would have been nice for them to let us know before entering and buying drinks that we have to drink before going back in again. After finding a worker, they let us know that they would open back up again 3 hours later. You get what you pay for! Hopefully I we won’t have to fly out of here again in the future.
I was dropping my wife and baby off. The parking lot was 'closed' even though there were only a couple of cars parked. I tried to park out of the way and was told I couldn't park there. When I advised I needed to help my wife with the luggage and car seats I was offered no solution. I told them to call the tow truck if they needed to and proceeded to help my wife and was in and out in 2 min. After I left, airport security hunted my wife down and ridiculed her about the situation. She was on the way to a funeral and being harassed was the last thing she needed. These guys need a lesson about what it means to be good humans.
Just be careful if you are flying either frontier or another more rare airline because the main south terminal was not the one that frontier flew out of. You will either have to take a shuttle from the airport or you will have to drive and follow the exits that show for south terminal. (this was not listed on my itinerary or through Priceline or through frontier or on the airport web page). The southern terminal isn't even attached to the other major airlines that frontier was flying from at a AUS airport. Thank goodness I arrived 2 hours before the flight. Other than that debacle it was all right.
We landed at 115pm via Frontier airlines. After getting our bags by 1:45pm, we had to wait about 45 minutes in hot sun with young kids to get space in the shuttle. The shuttle can only take 13 to 14 people at a time and when two full flights land around the same time, it becomes a long waiting game for everybody. They have small busses and running it very efficiently by using the same for parking and main airport shuttle. Even after reporting to the operations person with walkie talkie, the only response I got was "Yes this is the usual waiting time". Hope this improves
No problems on arrival, but had issues trying to depart back home. Website says the terminal is open “24 hours.” This is a lie. The door may be open 24 hours, but the terminal services are not. We arrived early, around 5:30 am, and the terminal was closed. You could walk in the entrance, but everything was closed. Security had their gates closed and you couldn’t go further. There was also an annoying alarm that was constantly going off in the lobby, so we just had to sit and wait outside on a bench so we didn’t get a terrible headache. Not impressed.
Planes are boarded/deplaned outside in the open. If it's raining you'll get soaked. No different than if I would have jumped into a swimming pool with my clothes on. They have decorative canopies that serve no purpose in regards to rain and sun, just stupid looking funnels looking towards the sky. Shuttles to and from the main airport/car rental area are too small and too infrequent. Shuttle drivers are very rude. Avoid this awful facility. Shuttle ride is rather long in their tiny shuttle busses. Fly out of a better facility than this dump.
Old. Small but nice. Only down side is not connected to the main terminal, so I came 3 hours early to do some souvenir shopping I didn’t get to do prior to leaving and was sorely disappointed! There is transport from the 2 terminals, but I couldn’t check in and then go out, you have to check in at the south terminal. Aside from that, it was quick and not too crowded. Staff were super friendly and helpful! Only downfall is not being able to connect to the other terminal, but they do have a very small gift shop for like key chains or magnets.
Amazing! Rental car center was wonderful. We rented a large trailer for a week to be delivered. I made numerous changes, some beyond my control, others for a slide out and different model . Every single time I called, Rental answered the phone. He offered advice, support and even refunded part of our trip! The best customer service ever! He went over and above to accommodate us. I would highly recommend doing business with them. What a pleasure. We had a lovely trip and will be using them again next year. Call Rental Car Center!
This is the Avis Austin Airport location: The people that work their are all very nice, and the vehicles I've rented from them are all in tip top shape. Renting is easy & returning is even easier. 'JUAN' one the the managers is such a nice kind, very polite & accommodating gentleman. Another gentleman there names Robert is also very nice. Like I mentioned before everyone there is so polite, even one of the gals at the gate, but unfortunately I don't remember everyone's name. Thanks again!!!
The security there tonight at 10 o'clock weren't there doing their job directing traffic, then pulled up late and got aggravated that people (who have never been to this terminal) weren't properly directing traffic themselves. Customer service could be better. I wouldn't expect professional employees to make passive aggressive remarks to travellers, at least save it for the locker room. I can think of much better ways to be welcomed into Texas as a veteran who has been away for many years.
How did Austin ever think this was a good idea? Showed up at the main terminal because I didn't realize the South Terminal is basically a totally different airport. Took a half hour for the shuttle to show up, then it was a 25 min drive (shuttle takes the loooong way around the airport). We ended up showing up 2 mins after the gates closed, no gate agent anywhere. There were about 15 people in the same boat as me, plus a similar number for a Frontier flight, and we all missed our flight.
Very poor experience. I understand these are for budget airlines. But the terminal is run by very few staffs. There is only one shuttle from main airport and the frequency is 30-40 mins depending upon traffic. This is very poorly designed airport. The same crew operating stairs has to get baggages. So very long wait time to collect your baggage. Finally no one answers when you call. The airlines also shy away to print the terminal which causes lot of time waste for passengers.
If you need to start from the main terminal (dropping off a rental car) and shuttle to the south terminal, just allow yourself an extra 30-45 minutes in addition to the standard 2 hours and you should be good. They say the shuttle is every 20 minutes but it is not very big and you may have to wait up to 40 minutes for a ride to the south terminal. The shuttle trip is about 10-15 minutes which feels like a trip across town but they are really right next to each other.
What a terrible plan. Takes 30 minutes to get here from the main terminal, then they're strict and claim to be "punctual" when you're a few minutes late. The TSA agents here were the rudest I've ever experienced, when I was clearly frazzled. If they were a little lenient on timing due to their terrible planning, it all would be okay, but instead they're jerks. Never flying Frontier or Allegiant to Austin again. Probably ever, but especially to this garbage terminal.
Charming little terminal away from the main hustle and bustle of the main. If commuting from the main terminal, get there early. Shuttles run every 15 mins and take 15 mins to get around the field. Flights tend to clump together and lines can get long, especially if TSA gets swamped. Cute little shoppette inside w/ food, coffee and t-shirts plus there is an excellent taco truck outside on the quaint patio. No jet bridges, just walk-up ramps so hold onto tie hat.
If you're flying on Frontier and a few other airlines, you'll now land at a terminal 15 minutes from the actual AUS. The good news is, anyone can drive up to pick you up right out front instead of having to go to a parking garage across the street to get a ride share like at the main terminal. But it would have been nice if Frontier had bothered to let our flight know that we weren't landing on the main terminal so we could tell our rides where to pick us up.
My daughter's luggage was put on the wrong flight. Her and another female had the same name! She had been without her luggage for a week. I live in Austin so I went to South Terminal to see if I could find it. An employee there (did not get his name but he had very very light eyes) talked to an employee Landon that works in luggage. He opened the door and it was there!!! He was so nice and polite. I appreciate yall helping me find her luggage!!!!!Thank You!
First time ever at the South Terminal and I have to admit I was surprised at how smoothly everything went. If Steve greets you at the entrance you’ll experience what a true professional is. He was extremely helpful, polite and not afraid to go the extra to make sure you are smiling and taken care of. Heck you might even see him dancing to some Janet Jackson. Thx for everything Steve and know you are a large part of why this review is being made ☺️
They didn’t allow us to onboard the flight from Austin to DC after waiting for 90 minutes to check in the luggage yesterday 5/29/2022. They operating only with one counter for Memorial Day long weekend rush and that too with inexperienced staff. They left around 18 passengers who are waiting more than 90 minutes in line to check in the luggage. We could able to see they are loading the check in baggage until 15 minutes before takeoff.
The terminal is too small for the number of people waiting for flights. Seats are hard to find, especially for those traveling in a group. When boarding starts the line snakes through the small terminal making getting round nearly impossible. So many people are typically crammed into terminal that the wi-fi is unusable. They need to increase the bandwidth and number of access points to support the crowd waiting in the terminal.
Getting picked up here suuuuucks. Cars park out front and take up all the room when they should be at the cell phone waiting lot. So when your car comes, they can't actually pick you up because the guys in yellow vests yell at you that you can't double park and that it's a fire lane. Well if they would tell the parked people that they need to move along if their passenger isn't there, then everything would run more smoothly.
This terminal services budget airlines like Frontier and Allegiant. It's about the size of a CVS. Verify if you have a connecting flight on a different airline, because this terminal is far from the main one across the runways! A shuttle is available, but it's a long, long drive around the airport. This terminal only has one luggage turn belt and you board planes from the pavement by walking up ramps into the plane.
The Shuttle service to the main terminal is the worse I have ever seen, and I have used it since using the south terminal. Some drivers are rude. The Shuttle Service takes forever to arrive, and sometimes you might have to wait for another one and wait another 30 mins. To make it worse is 100 degrees outside, and they don’t consider it. I won’t fly Frontier or Allegiance again, so I won't have to come here.
What a joke! Dinky terminal, slow service, took forever for them to get the stairs to the plane. 20 person shuttle every 20 minutes? There was 60 people trying to get to the main terminal. I would avoid at all cost, pay a little more for one of the airlines that flies into main terminal. Took 1-1/2 hours from touch down till we were at the rental car station at main terminal. Would give 0 stars if I could.
Boarded on Frontier airline that landed here. I had no clue i was tricked to be in this small south airport. I was stuck here with two toodlers. It Took 20 min to get my stroller through the luggage side and then had to wait an additional 30 min to get the shuttle to the main airport. I would not recommend to use this airline bc you are literally 20 min away from your car parked in the main airport.
Small terminal serving three gates. The security area is large given the amount of seating inside. The seating area is one large room and several of the outlets are not working. There is a store that sells tourist merchandise, food, and alcohol. Prices are pretty standard airport pricing with the cheapest water being $4.25. The gates just go onto the tarmac and you walk up a ramp to enter the plane.
Daughter was sent through security with someone else. When I was trying to go with her the employees were confused on which line to send me through, sending me back and forth. They then told me to let her know to wait for me when they were luring her through to the other side with a sticker. Please talk to your employees about safety, communication, and customer experience.Thank you.
The Rental Car Center at Austin-Bergstrom Airport exceeded my expectations in every way possible. From the moment I arrived, the experience was seamless and hassle-free. The facility itself was modern, clean, and well-organized, making it easy to find the rental agencies. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and efficient, ensuring a quick and smooth rental process.
Frontier check-in kiosk was strange, I checked in online and just wanted a hard copy of the boarding pass but it only gave error messages that if I wanted to check a bag I’d need to see an agent, of which I didn’t see any there. Security bag screening was suuuuper slow, the TSA officers were nice at least.
The south terminal only operates budget airlines, so it’s a pretty tiny terminal with only 2 gates. On the plus side, there’s never a line in TSA and there’s plenty of seating inside. There’s also an outdoor patio with a taco truck outside. Parking is also very convenient and only cost 10$ per day.
Terrible seating to wait for pick up, restroom is tiny and nothing is no touch, literally just a vending machine for people waiting for their rides, plugs on the wall doesn’t work. 10/10 would not recommend flying frontier, allegiant, and via, or you’ll end up at the worlds worst terminal ever
I love the south terminal. I have a large family and can’t really afford to fly on the normal airlines so we love the austin south terminal. It’s spacious and I can go outside and get a drink while my kids play. Thank you austin for providing a low cost place for those of us who need it!!!
It's 1 airline Alligent, easy to check in and security is awesome, waiting for bags it's slow but eventually you'll get them. I waited till my brother left and they send me to proper area to see him leave Air Port Police are present if they think there is a sign of danger. Feel secure
I love this airport. The parking is cheap as heck. Security takes less than 10 minutes. You can sit on the Tarmac patio in the sun. Only complaint is they don’t have one of those water bottles filling stations, they do have a water fountain but it’s practically in the bathroom.
This terminal is usual a bit of a hassle to plan logistics and when I flew in today there was an attendant Steven he was just so helpful and sweet. Had such good energy and really explained the situation to everyone to make it as easy of an experience as possible .
Tiny, tiny airport but very accommodating. Took about 10 minutes to get through security. The waiting area is a one room building with a gift/sundries shop. Plenty of seating. Parking at the economy lot had plenty of space available on a Friday morning.
Allegiant and Frontier fly out of the south terminal. If you return a rental car at the main terminal you need to take the shuttle to south terminal. The first shuttle arrives at 5:45 am and leaves around 5:50. Check in at TSA was no wait and smooth.
I’m now a fan of the SOUTH Austin airport. So sweet to be able to wait outside and De Nada tacos! Security is super simple, and my folks were friendly. And the full bar with beer selection is everything anyone would ever need for a great travel day.
Such dependable and proficient rental vehicle specialist co-ops and I'm totally happy with their help and administration. They furnish very much adapted vehicles with fine-quality insides. I had a wonderful trip, and I really enjoyed the drive.
If I could give it no stars I would…. Absolutely horrible and will never fly with them again. Customer service is extremely poor. You get what you pay for I suppose. I had to literally take all of my stuff out my suitcase and throw away my
This is a big disappointment. They do not provide elderly or wheelchair assistance at the entrance. Youll have to float into the departure line by yourself. There are no push carts for you to pay to use. You are to carry your items one by
I enjoy flying out of the South Terminal. It's smaller and not as busy. Security is less packed and baggage claim is a breeze because it's literally one carousel. Plus, you get to walk on the tarmac which is kinda cool because 9/11 put an
I love the South Terminal! I have never met a friendlier TSA agent! The parking is a breeze.you just park and walk to the terminal under 5 minutes! There is also premium parking available, which literally is a minute walk from the
If you’re not a patient person this terminal is not for you. If you have a rental car, budget at least an extra hour for the shuttle ride over to this terminal. You will wait up to an hour waiting for their shuttle service.
'Rental Car Center at Austin' is the best rental car agency in Texas. They furnish very much adapted vehicles with fine-quality insides. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the peaceful environment.
Terrible, terrible they are the worst. They land in the Austin south air port, and good luck getting to the main terminal.and good luck getting the shuttle to get back to the south terminal.it was bad, never again.
An outstanding performance from the south terminal team today. I arrived 29 minutes before takeoff and they escorted me through security directly to my seat. I love the south terminal and I love flying Allegiant!
Returning the rental car was quick and easy with this service. The staff was ready to assist upon arrival, and the vehicle inspection was conducted promptly. It allowed me to catch my flight without any delays.
Only one shuttle comes every 30 minutes. And it’s 15-20 minutes away from the main airport. It’s harder to find a ride back. Let’s not forget that they charge $25 for any assistance on the kiosk.
Great terminal great fast service great team TSA very friendly GOD bless you guys firts time here at this terminal and was great experience staff very professional friendly …
Absurd- left to stand waiting on a shuttle for a half an hour after the flight landed just to get to a rental car. No benches near where to wait. In the heat. Zero stars.
It takes forever to get your checked bags. We’ve been waiting for 35 minutes since we landed, and the baggage conveyor hadn’t even started. It’s this way every time!!
Terrible experience! I wish I could give this place zero stars! Way too cramped, zero air conditioning & smells like a public bathroom! Get your act together!
Tiny with little facilities and couple of low cost airlines operates from here. Overall okay experience and there is nothing much to write anything about it.
Great experience here. Small terminal for some of the discount airlines. Currently Spirt and Alligient. TSA lines were fast and the staff was pleasant.
All of the airport employees I interacted with were very friendly and calm, as well as efficient. Getting through security was a breeze.
This is a pretty big place. Pretty easy to get off the plane. Easy to get to baggage claim. Love the diversity in food here.
Rental Car Center at Austin-Bergstrom Airport has different cars available like mini compact etc helpful service thank you
Had some good breakfast tacos here just wish it wasn't far from the main airport depending on who you choose to fly with
Do not recommend flying Frontier or Allegiant to Austin. This airport is tiny and has no permanent restaurant or bar.
This terminal is run down & you have to take a bus quite a distance to get a rental car. Don’t fly in here.
Small terminal, short lines, decent taco truck outside. Definitely easier than going to the main terminal.
Not a dump but airlines on site provide no self check in or bag drops (Allegiant). Bring a sandwich.
Aside from slow - very in my experiences - security, it's easier in and out than the main terminal
Why doesn’t the shuttle have a better route to he main terminal. I thought the driver was lost.
Great staff here. Joe Pace was exceptional. Wish more people were like this in life. Thank you!
Overall experience is okay. Never had any problems getting a car.
