This place is the definition of don't judge a book by it's cover. We ordered nachos, cheeseburger loaded fries, cob loaf, boneless chicken bites, chicken wings, waffles fries and onion rings. And we ended up all getting food poisoning. We should've taken the smell of off calamari that was brought out to the table next to us as a hint of the quality of food. The Cocktail Tower was a huge disappointment, cocktail was barely cold and seemed like they had never made a cocktail before. No garnish, no real flavours and the cups they served it with were dirty, smudged and had no ice. Being in hospitality we had to laugh. So we asked the waiter if she could get us a glass of ice. To which she responded like she'd never been asked for ice before. She than disappeared without bringing us any ice. So my friend had to go up to the bar and ask for ice, to which the guy behind the bar responded like he'd also never been asked for ice. The trivia was okay, but with the music still blasting whilst he was speaking it was very hard to understand what he was saying. The layout and design of this place is amazing however it's only as good as the service it gives. I'm only deciding to write this review as it's 24hrs later and my partner is still holding a bucket. I highly suggest that the staff are trained in better service techniques and the kitchen needs a thorough audit. This may be an isolated incident and judging by other reviews this does seem unusual, so I'd love to give this place another go. Just maybe not anytime soon.

First time dining here and it will be the last. I called at the beginning of the week to make a booking for a large group for dinner and it all went through (so I thought). Come the day of our booking I rang 5 hours ahead to confirm, gave my name and time and they happily confirmed with me my booking was good to go. When we got there, we stood and waited for a while with our group of 12. There were bartenders at the bar and multiple staff that walked past and none of them gave the courtesy to at least let us know that someone will be with us soon (it didn’t look that busy). Finally when someone came to serve us we were told that there was no booking made. Before I could rip into this worker, who was the person I had spoken to on the phone twice I’m pretty sure, another staff member came to his rescue and saved him by putting us on a table. We did have to wait for them to arrange this though which was frustrating. Once we were given a table, we noticed they were dirty and we had to ask multiple times to get them wiped down after we were seated. There were no issues with the food and the staff member who put us on a table did do her best to accomodate our big group so props to her. The food and wait time was ok even though we were told it would be a 30min wait however, the customer service needs to be better. Much better.

This is my experience, arrive with my girlfriend and her mum for dinner. We all order at the same time. In 20 minutes my girlfriend food comes out. 10 minutes later my girlfriend mum’s chicken ceaser salad comes out, with no chicken. So she has to asks for chicken, so they bring the chicken out on a plate. 20 minutes have gone since my girlfriend’s food came out and I still haven’t gotten my burger and chips. So I walk up to the bar and ask a waitress wether my food is ready and she responds by letting out a laugh “yeah sorry about that there is only one chef on. It should be ready in 4 minutes.” Form where I am sitting I can see into the kitchen I now notice there is one guy running around doing the job of 4 people. It’s 7pm on a Thursday the place is half full and I wish I didn’t order. The burger comes out an hour since arriving. The burger is cold and dry and the chips where soggy. Honestly I was expecting it.

The whole experience overall was just incredibly disappointing! After recently going to the one over at the hyperdome my expectations were high but unfortunately this venue didn’t even compare in the slightest. We ordered drinks to start through the QR code and it took about 10-15min to bring out the drinks when we were the only patrons in the venue/ they were standing around behind the bar chatting and on their phones. Not to mention these drinks were poured then left on the counter while the staff stood there to chat some more.. we noticed one of the staff use straws to mix the beers so they looked freshly poured. The quality of food was so poor we didn’t even finish our meals. There was some slight music playing in background and what is meant to be a sports styled bar had less than 0 atmosphere. In all honestly I couldn’t wait to leave the venue and we rushed out the door.

Probably one of the worst dinning experience we have ever had . Firstly you could not communicate with anyone volume was so loud from screens The food well I ordered the Champion burger and it was dripping in fat as obviously a cheap burger meat mix the streaky bacon was barely cooked ,my wife had the steak that was below average. The salt was all stuck together in all the despensers and I removed the lid on one and absolutely disgusting see pictures. The service and food was dismal. We will not be back ,not once we're we even asked if meal was alright. Poor food poor service and not an enjoyable sit in experience please beware

Way overpriced, food bland and prepared not as asked. Servers are forced to guide the patrons to the app or the online order. The chef seems to be the one that dictates everything including what the patrons bring to the attention as being wrong. Be very careful do not order surf'n turf ($10 for 3 boiled prawns no garlic). Salad was oily same as the so called garlic sauce. Return bad food as soon as you get it. If this place was to charge after consumption they won't get any money. Very disappointed...

We sat at a table and shortly realised there was soft drink split on it awhile ago and it had dried, the high chair we were provided was broken so our baby couldn’t be safely strapped in. We paid just over $40 for a bowl of chips, a tiny serving of cauliflower bites (one of very few meatless options), a sprite and a corona. The guys Servín be were friendly and nice but not very helpful (I had to go looking for them to get table wiped down, request a high chair even though I was carrying a baby etc) We were just popping in for a quick bite, wouldn’t recommend.

Went here for pokémon trivia which was pretty good. The drinks were decently priced but all fairly weak in strength. Received two emails about the event with two different start times so i went with the recent email and was told at the door that it was the wrong time?? Food came quickly but drinks took a while with one of mine in a glass jar having a chip on the top with glass coming off in my hand! Service was overall friendly but staff clearly needed more training as we received at least 3 wrong orders. Would go again just for the drink prices and trivia but wouldn’t expect much more.

I was a regular customer here, the Buddha bowls are usually top notch. Tonight it came out smaller than usual with a smidge of dressing. I got through half of it, but needed more dressing as quite dry, asked the waiter for some more, straight up said yea but you have to pay.. I literally needed a teaspoon of it yet he refused to budge. Paid $62 for two meals and two drinks, I don't think a teaspoon of dressing is too much to ask.. BTW, first time I've ever posted a review, attitude of this guy was enough to put me off ever going back.

Had a fairly ordinary experience here. The idea of scanning a QR code to access a site to order your meal is neat but the system needs work. The website was slow, and we're required to enter our table numbers ourselves which could easily be added into the functionality of the code. There is something a little more personal about having a waiter take your order however In terms of actual service, food came reasonably quickly. The photo is of the Quattro, a summer special loaded Parma, the chips were okay, the salad was great, the chicken was a little dry. Good enough but not an experience I'd go out of my way for

So disgusted at how we were made to leave because our friend who has a condition called cerebellum was discriminated against and was asked to leave because they said he was intoxicated.Manager was quick to judge him and say he was too drunk and was going to call the police on us. I have seen a lot of bad reviews for ribs. In my opinion, they were fantastic. A tad expensive by the end of the night, but.. you get what you pay for! We have been here twice now. We can confidently say, it's far better when Nonna's "Italian" next door isn't blasting their ridiculously loud music. For what? No one dancing. Enough about that. This place has a wide range of options, all which are beautifully presented! Proactive staff, certainly not a moment where I felt like I could not receive some help.

We were at the chermside globe on 23 Nov for the afternoon. The staff were very friendly but some couldn't pour beers, and there were no chilled glasses or jugs. When it's a 30+ degree day and you want a cold beer it helps if you've got cold glasses and jugs. Can you guys get a fridge to give us cold glasses Thanks

Great Northern Super Crisp Pint, Double Champion Chesseburger

We were there to eat lunch and understood it was the mayday public holiday so a 10% surcharge would be added & we’re happy to pay this. We waited nearly 2 hours for our order of 12 bbq & 12 buffalo wings to come out but the order was missing a mvp Parma & side of ranch which did not come. 2.5 hours after ordering the staff member was rude when we mentioned our meal was still missing and if we could get it in a takeway box instead. Poor service & disappointing food.

Great cosy atmosphere with all sports you need playing on TV's located in every corner of the venue. Drinks are cheap compared to the other bars located which encourages me to stay for a meal as well. Good specials through the week too ( Specially on Thursday). The only problem I had was I had a birthday voucher to spend but they didn't let me to use it right away and ask me to come back after 24 hours when I bought something and I realised I can use it right away!

I went here for a lunch date before seeing a movie, honestly it's a decent place to meet and hang. The burger prices were fairly expensive considering their size though. Their gluten free options were quite extensive, so there wasn't any issue finding something to eat there. I wish they didn't skimp out on the chips, but the food was fresh and very tasty. I would come here again.

Three meals (honey soy chicken bites, pulled pork and chicken parmigiana) tasted so sweet it felt they poured several teaspoons of sugar in the meal. Again, no one finished their meal. Unfortunately, we won't be back, and wasted $200, should have just gone to KFC.

Recently had our engagement party at Chermside Sporting Globe and it was honestly one of the best nights. I cannot thank Rodney and Katie enough for how much they went above and beyond to make our night amazing. The food was delicious, the space was perfect and all the staff were incredible. 10000000% recommend having a function here! The whole process was so easy from start to finish. Could not recommend enough!

Best place to come for a good lunch feed, the staff here are always really nice and helpful. They went out of their way to go to the shops to get raspberry syrup for my lemonade when I asked if I could have a raspberry lemonade. Not only that but the food is great, best time to come is for lunch as Monday to Wednesday is $13.90 lunch. I have been coming most weeks for lunch as a treat and it never disappoints.

The most surprising thing about here is how amazing their customer service was. And the punter on that day, inside were so lovely to us. We had a little baby and the staff came to say hello. The food and drink are always consistently good. We had the mozerrall stick and buffalo wing with a beer and cocktail and if they were hot, tasty and well priced. Love this place. So glad there a pub put front again.

Great food, had the $1 wings for international wings day. Loved the sporting vibe. Service really lets this place down. We had finished, dirty dishes sitting at our table for a good half an hour before anyone bothered to come pick them up. Then only grabbed half and the others were left sitting for a further 15 minutes.

The experience I had at the Sporting Globe Bar and Grill was a most pleasant one. The atmosphere is great and the staff are very inviting. I found that the staff said the exact same thing to each table as if reading off of a script. The food was excellent and came fairly quickly. I definitely recommend giving this place a try if you enjoy watching a variety of different sport while you eat.

Once again, the people serving make for a brilliant experience. The waiter Ethan brings so much fun while being extremely accommodating and entertaining mean while being served at the bar by Max is also a great experience. Despite a busy environment he is accommodating and quick. Good food, good service and overall a great experience.

Definitely goes out of his way to make the experience as good as possible. I like how many vegetarian options there are and love the limited time menu's. Overpriced with little to no service. Got a $30 burger which looked nothing like the picture, to be met with a look of 'really' when I asked for the rest of it, only to get it back with oven scrapings as onions and a teaspoon of pulled pork. Not sure what I'm paying for but loud music, giant TVs and very average pub food.

Friendly staff & Great venue to watch a game and have some sides. However, drinks took 20 minutes to get to the table & food was bang on average. $45 for a steak that tasted like charcoal and when it come out, it was missing the creamy garlic sauce for the prawn toppers. Burger that was ordered was also very average!

Great service from the staff everytime I dine in. The food is always tasty and piping hot when served. Daily deals keeps me considering this location each time I am looking to dine out. The chicken parma are tasty though for me, its a little small. Great place to hang out with friends and family to chill out

Lucy was amazing. She was attentive. After ordering a beer on the app, my husband received his, but I did not. 20 minutes later, I went up to collect myself and was met with...oh, there was an issue with the system!? It was honestly a lie because she wasn't concerned about the issue affecting anyone else.

Great food and selection of drinks! The hospitality from bar staff Ethan and Valentina was the stand out, they provided helpful insights into the various beverages on offer and were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back!

If you like loud live sport, big food portions and sticky floors this place is for you. Outside is good for quieter dining. Family rated the ribs but I found the wings a bit bland sorry. Nice side salads. Definitely not the place for a relaxed conversation but meals came quickly.

We were there on a Saturday night after having dinner at a local restaurant. We arrived just in time to be told they were closing. Last drinks and it was 9.30pm! Staff were nice. Apart from early closing I do like this venue. Awesome, of course, for any big sporting event.
