A Bingo Night to Remember. Last Friday, my family and I had the pleasure of visiting The Strand for their exciting Bingo Night, and what a delightful experience it was! From the moment we stepped in, we were enchanted by the warm and chic ambiance of this cozy restaurant. Live plants, pastel decor, and a charming Caribbean theme created a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. And the best part? Upcoming outdoor seating with a swing—making me eager to return in the winter to savor the scenic palm view. The staff at The Strand were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The owners/partners were also present and added a personal touch to the evening, ensuring every guest had an excellent experience. Now, let's talk about the food and drinks—the real stars of the night! The extensive menu offered a diverse selection, leaving us spoiled for choice. A few highlights that stole our hearts were: 1. Mango Margarita: This sweet and spicy concoction took me back to the flavors of Sri Lanka. Crafted with finesse, the mojito tantalized every taste bud and left us craving more. 2. Crispy Calamari: A delightful twist on the classic calamari, The Strand's version amazed us. The calamari was presented in flat, beaten shapes—crisp and mouthwatering. Paired with the delectable black garlic dip, it was a match made in culinary heaven. 3. Hand-Cut Herbed Fries: The fries at The Strand were nothing short of a revelation! Instead of the usual frozen variety, they surprised us with long hand-cut potatoes, skin on for that extra fiber, and baked to perfection with aromatic herbs. A fantastic and healthy snack to complement our drinks. No main course was ordered. As the Bingo night commenced, the interactive music and the hilarious host made the game even more thrilling. The engaging sessions in between the rounds transformed the evening into a lively party scene. The crowd couldn't resist getting on their feet to dance their hearts out, turning the event into an unforgettable celebration. Kudos to the management for allowing everyone to let loose and enjoy the night to the fullest. The Strand has left an indelible impression on me, and I can't wait to visit again! From the outstanding service to the exceptional food and the joyous atmosphere, this place truly has it all. We recently had a super disappointing experience at The Strand. Despite confirming a lunch reservation for our girls' Christmas lunch 6 weeks in advance, the restaurant canceled our booking the day before our arrival, even though we chatted 2 days before the lunch and reconfirmed the booking. We were initially offered an indoor table but was told there is no space and they would seat us outside. While sorting out the reservation mess, we encountered confusion regarding the agreed-upon price and had to insist on the confirmed deal. They tried to charge us each an extra 110AED about the 330AED confirmed with no explanation. The service was marked by delays, miscommunication, and a lack of service. Our starters, though eventually served inside, arrived cold. Poor communication. The main course was significantly delayed, with wrong orders reaching our table during the wait. The staff's no care attitude and the absence of any apologies marred what should have been an enjoyable occasion. Our order never reach the kitchen and we waited over 1 hour for our food. Despite the culinary quality being commendable, the overall experience was overshadowed by the unprofessionalism and lack of customer care. I expressed my concerns on their Facebook page, but the response was disheartening – no acknowledgment, no apology, and my review was deleted. This, unfortunately, ranks as one of the poorest dining experiences I've had in 25 years here in Dubai.

Cheesecake

I really had a great night we celebrated my friends birthday there in a group. The waiters were so amazing and kind and attentive. The food was so delicious, we enjoyed the entree so much we didn’t think it would get better but course by course the food got more and more delicious. Loved the music playing and it was at a great volume so we could enjoy and still hear each other talking. It was pet friendly and there was the cutest dog birthday on another table, it was so adorable. Some of the dishes we loved were for the entree the grilled jumbo prawns, fresh guacamole, grilled eggplant, moutable, the mains we loved the salmon, lamb burger and pasta with beef and truffle, the buratta salad is a must. For desert I would highly recommend the pina colada gelato and the San Sebastián cheesecake. If you like a drink they are licensed and have an extensive cocktail and mocktail list. The staff were perfect as was our entire experience.

I love the flavors that this place has to offer although it is not as busy and so the atmosphere is quite private and more quiet during the week. The service does not let you down. The friendly welcome and knowledge of the menu is notable and the service staff are professional they keep their distance, but are always available. They are flexible with their menu and the happy hour here goes a long way. I loved that. I got to sample some new flavors and interesting dips and new takes on regular favorites. The vegan menu is also helpful and not restrictive. I would recommend this place for larger, gatherings, more quiet dinners, and a good quality sit down with a nice glass of wine.

First time to dine here at the strand in palm jumeirah. Enjoyed the view and the ambiance , including the amazing service led by the team manager Lynn along with her team Roi, Arnold specially JC. Giving us the "A" service i havent experience in the past restaurants ive been with. Ive been in the hospitality industry and i knew that these team wer lack of rest and sleep because of the NYE event. But they manage to gave us a wonderful service. Definitely will be back here because of the good food and fantastic service. Thank you gerald for letting us know this one of kind gem restaurant in UAE . Happy New Year Y'all

Impossible Roast

We arrived around 3pm to The Strand and it was alive and bustling with atmosphere. All sorts of different groups were there, it was a pleasure to see. The food, drink and everything in between was incredible. My job entails going round different venues and meeting the owners / operators, so we have eaten in all the top venues in Dubai. This is hands down the best roast, and the best calamari going. The deserts were also . Prices are fantastic as well. Don’t miss this.

I just recently discovered this place through an invitation of my friend and I have to say the food is great. Our fav plates were the sharing tapas and their signature cocktails as well as the pizzas are also a must try. We sat in the lovely outside sitting that the weather is good and enjoyed our time there. The price is fair and they have many offers through the week. Coming back soon to vibe on Lady night with my girls.

Their Escalivada was so cool

We came here at The Strand for lunch and the food was absolutely fantastic, 10/10! I had the Slow Roasted Lamb Shank and it was spectacular! T'was so soft and juicy. I can say that it was the best roast I've ever had plus the magnificent view of the Palm, it's very beautiful! Will definitely recommend this lovely restaurant and their Weekend Roast to my friends and family and surely, will be back again soon

Not sure of the hype. Called up to book - could hear it was very busy but the team member on the phone was pretty clueless and unhelpful. Arrived, we were sat inside. Ordered the roast and told certain sides were no longer available. Food was okay - average roast compared to other restaurants. Live music which was nice but it was far too loud. Service was pretty poor, inattentive, staff stretched. Wouldn’t recommend or rush back too

Hidden gem in The Palm! The place, food and service are all top notch! The food was delicious and portions were good. All the staff were very nice and accomodating specially Mr. Glen. My brother's birthday was a blast. I highly recommend The Strand and we'll definitely be back!

The staff were very friendly and helpful.The food was pleasing to both eyes and palate. Be sure to leave room for dessert.Well worth a visit if you are in Dubai ❤ They have amazing offer every day. Weekend Sunset Brunch 6 pm onward is one of my favourite one. Don't forget to book in advance not to missed out the good spot ❤️

Super disappointing, heard all the reviews and had high expectations, was so hot and aircon didn't work, my wife's salmon was like cardboard and disgusting and mash potato was full of lumps. We all was so uncomfortable with the heat we just wanted to leave. Even the parking is now miles away as they are digging up the whole front. Staff are great but they definitely dealing with a challenge, not sure we will be back as everything just wasn't right today

A great traditional Sunday lunch. The roast beef and chicken were both excellent. Generous portions, with lots of different vegetables, great gravy and Yorkshire Puddings. A nice selection of wines by the glass and bottle. Recommended.

Wonderful restaurant. We live nearby and love having this place on our doorstep. Great value, great food and great service. Also, a good place to go and work when necessary (good wifi). Staff always very attentive and friendly with us. Highly recommend.

Very nice

I visited for the first time with friends and shared pizzas and drinks last week. I loved it so much I came back for the Christmas dinner. It was my first Christmas away from home and they made me feel as if I was with family. The dinner was outstanding and the team was so welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend The Strand! Everything we tried tasted terrific and the service was very attentive and helpful…I particularly enjoyed the leek appetizer, the fish taco app, and the seabass entree. I definitely will be back soon.
