Terrible experience, please stay clear from booking with this company. Even 1 star is too much of a good rating for this company! Tickets were booked as a connecting flight and no where was we informed upon purchasing that the connection flight would be in a completely different terminal. Not only would it be impossible for my mother to catch her connecting flight within a 40 minute time frame, she also suffers from chronic pain. Upon realising I contacted the company and asked to cancel the flight. I spoke to a chap called Simon who made up so many lies as to why I would not be able to get a refund. Everytime I asked to have these reasons in writing Simon refused to send me any written proof or show me any written policy as to why I could not change my ticket. I then contacted American Airlines who confirmed as I was cancelling within 24 hours they were happy to honour my refund. The full amount was sent to Simon and after lots of back and forth we only received a PARTIAL refund. Company is a scam, often I would call and they would clearly be on a bus or public transport. I’m not even sure they have an actual office. Very rude and zero customer service, avoid at all costs unless you want to be scammed !!!!!

I would avoid this company at all costs, they are quite literally a scam. They took my booking and money for a flight and then gave no flight confirmation information. After sending an email and then spending an hour trying to contact them on their whatsapp number they told me that the flight was no longer available and tried to book me on a considerably cheaper flight the day after. Clearly a ploy to take your money for an expensive flight, and then book you on a considerably cheaper flight with a lower quality airline therefore maximising their profit margins at the expense of the customer. They were not even giving the option of a full refund until I stopped them in their tracks and demanded one, which of course they gave as they did not have a leg to stand on. I then had to book myself onto the same flight directly from the airline for £200 more than it would have cost if I had simply gone direct at the original booking date. Giving this company a shot was a £200 mistake, I suggest that everyone avoids making the same mistake that I did and avoid The Travel House at all costs.

Booked flights to the US with them earlier this year. Was charged extra for 'flexible tickets'. Closer to the date my flight got rescheduled to a time that no longer worked for me and so I asked to move it. Turns out flexible still meant I had to pay a charge to change plus any additional difference in fare. I therefore asked for a refund which took multiple weeks to secure, multiple emails saying it had was being processed then nothing and with everyone ignoring me on the phone until it was time to log off for the day (I guess that's one approach to customer service). This was not a full refund - originally they said this was due to 'air taxes' - this was a lie and eventually they came clean and said it was actually an administration fee. One employee even put me on hold to answer a call from a new customer and he told me that i wasn't as important as I wasn't going give them any more money. Avoid at all costs - more expensive in the long run than booking with the airline. Worst people I have ever had to deal with.

Classic Bait and switch scam here. Started a chat log with "Stella" who advised and confirmed the price of an advertised ticket. I needed 4. Low and behold after making the payment instantly the fare was not available. Firstly I got the "oh its non refundable line" then I announced I had screen scrapes and the chat logs I was told a refund would be processed....firstly it would take 48hrs then 2 to 4 weeks on email and it would come from the airline! Well it wont as they were never even involved. I've written a request for a full refund almost £1500 to which if I don't get then I will issue a CC claim. Absolutely atrocious conduct and classic bait and switch tactic which is illegal. Just as most of the reviews here are fake. What makes it worse is that I used this company before and that was only a mediocre experience. If there was a zero rating then they would get it. Never again. Avoid at all costs.

I have used The Travel House 2 years in a row now. Sometimes booking through external providers can make you feel a little stressed as it's difficult to get hold of them but I have never had this pb with The Travel House. I have been able to call and ask questions and it was always dealt with professionally and in a timely manner. There was a slight issue with one of the flights I booked but they were proactive and contacted me straight away and it was sorted within 15 min. Russel dealt with this specific pb and he was great at resolving it quickly and kept in contact with me the whole time it needed to be resolved. Then today I got a courtesy call from Jenny just checking that I was happy with everything and that I had receive my e-tickets. It was great customer service. They are always available on What's App too and that's a great way to get hold of them

Abysmal excuse for a travel agency, wish I could rate less than 1 star. Over promise and under deliver. Tried to change my flight for over 5 days where they said they had contacted the airline - they didn’t. After I contacted them they then told me they were waiting for an email from me..would be nice to have been told that by somebody perhaps. Had to call numerous times to try and resolved and was consistently told I would get callbacks..never happened. No customer service. No desire to help their customers. Sarcastic mannerisms. Tbf to them they do provide their WhatsApp number.. so they can find another way to constantly ignore you. Please save yourself the hassle and go directly with the airline or at the very least a more reputable company. You really do get what you pay for and with this company it’s the square root of nothing.

my experience was excellent. Site easy to use but as I had a question about returning to a different airport I asked for a call back and Russel Davis got back very quickly to my query. Russel took me very patiently through the options and I did not feel rushed he was also very good checking details matched middle names etc which saved me having a problem at the airport but basically he was so helpful nothing was too much trouble and very knowledgeable. I would definitely use the service again for my next travel trip aboard as great prices and one of the best customer experiences i have had in a long time. I would like to give a big Britsh thumbs-up! To Russell Super-Agent at Travel House! He was like a fightet pilot locking in to his target!. I gave him my complicated 4 routed trip to the USA. With my idea times for each flight. Within 30 minutes Russell came up with two options. We chose the nearest to our times saving £400.00 plus! on anything I had researched in the normal way! .All contact was by free Whattsapp ( witj an option of chatting direct) I got the old style "Travel Agent" treatment!. Not only for free! but actually saving me 30% on anything I had seen. Top man Russ! Keep your standards that high always. Well done

Outstanding customer service and the whole transaction took less than 15 minutes. Then just a short wait for the monetary transaction to be confirmed and the e-tickets forwarded. Absolutely the best price found for my trip - saving me around £400 EACH person. And exactly the flights I wanted, with one non-stop back from the Western US which, is a first. I'm thrilled to have found this organisation who go the extra mile to find the best, cheapest and most convenient flights. I'll be back very soon to book more flights.

I was in a rush to book the flights due to some urgent meeting in line and i saw travel house online while hoping for some good fares and i was amazed to see their airline fares initially i thought are they for real ? so i contacted them to book the cheapest fares I found online with Jacob . Amazingly Not only they fulfilled my travel needs with the cheapest fares around on faster pace , but they also gave me ease to book it online also without any hassle . Appalling service from this company. I booked a flight with virgin atlantic in February. At the time of booking it was clear that date and route changes were free. Then when I tried to change to a cheaper flight they kept trying to charge me hundreds of pounds in 'fare difference'. Then they accepted that there was only a very small fare difference but a mysterious 'admin fee' had to apply. I say mysterious as it wasn't mentioned in my booking confirmation. Bunch of scammers, BEWARE!

guys do not book with these guys, they are con artists they cannot give you any guarantees they cannont even give you a guarantee of the exact price you will pay. they want your money and will take no liability for any travel issues. they dont even know simple uk laws regarding travel. look at all there reviews they are unverified. dont book only book through the airline you are flying from these third party site have to make money from you somehow!!!!!!!!

We have discovered The Travel House not long ago and have tried them for our international flights. Their rates are very competitive, they are quick to respond and their customer service is excellent. They've been key in saving us £ 100s when one or our staff couldn't take their flight on the Sunday. They made sure the change of flights were secured before the airline deadline. We'll use them again and again. Definitely recommended.

Horrendous service. Find another provider at all costs. I was told my flight was delayed to another flight 2 hours after the initial flight time. Customer service was a man with a south Asian accent who said his name was "Simon Clark" and started shouting at me when I made was logging a complaint.

Booking was nice price in comparison to other sites and Their customer service as will keep calling you to confirm your booking and e ticket is received to explain everything in detail. Jenny from travel house was really helpful and friendly explaining my booking in detail .

First time I have used the Travel House. The airline significantly changed the timings on a return flight. However, after some friendly chats with Leo, we were able to be issued with tickets for better timed flights with no additional charges. Very satisfied.
