"I had a terrible experience this week at Twin Otter"
"I wanted to try something new, and I'm glad I chose this spot"
"The fries were cold and soggy, spinach dip was terrible"
Great bar and food. I agree with the other reviewers for this bar. The food is absolutely delicious and great beer selection I ordered the wings and cheesesteak sandwich. They have great selection of beer. Unique beers there and I liked the idea of labeling import or domestic beers based airport cities. Wings is also good too. Cooked perfect and nice spiciness. Nice cajun spice. One thing that caught me by surprise is the cheesesteak sandwich does not come with fries. I guess I usually expect fries with sandwich at other places. However this should not detract it as the sandwich was amazing. Just writing this review makes me think of the cheesesteak sandwich.

The Twin Otter is way down in southwest Edmonton serving up what I'd call pub fare. The establishment is relatively new and is extremely clean with lots of light. You can also watch the game on any of the televisions as well. The food is generous and delicious. This is not high end white linen fare. It's something to go with your cold beer when you're out with friends for a fun night out. Many traditional items that you'd find in other pubs but also some more creative offerings can be had. The service was amazing. We were being served by out bartender who was always prompt and helpful, but was also extremely funny. I can't say enough. 5 x ✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️

I had a terrible experience this week at Twin Otter. I went with friends and my husband was going to join for Dinner around 7pm. We were unaware no minors were allowed, when my husband was informed of the policy at the door with our infant son. He attempted to get my attention from the patio door to leave, when the manager approached him. I then noticed them at the door and went to ask what was going on. The manager and server were telling him he needed to leave immediately or they will call the cops since no minors were allowed in. I have never been so embarrassed and treated so poorly by a restaurant. We all left immediately and ate at a nearby restaurant. I would suggest the staff be trained on how to explain restaurant policies to new patrons in a respectful manor.

I wanted to try something new, and I'm glad I chose this spot. We had duck wings and the fish tacos. The duck wings were very flavourful, although a tad on the sweet side, barely noticeable but it's there. The fish tacos were loaded with a generous portion of cod, sriracha with some coleslaw, amazing flavour! If you like amber ale's their copper beer was one of the better amber ale's I've tried. Finished the night off with some delicious carrot cake and some pool, but hey don't take my word for it check out the photos! There's a more closed off private area to the left of the bar. I felt like I had to ask if I could sit there because the section was completely empty. If you're looking for a more private feel for your date night, don't be shy!
The fries were cold and soggy, spinach dip was terrible. I've had better from superstore and I ordered a beer and was told it was a bottle and got a can. I was watching the football game and the channel got changed, it wasn't busy so to not ask the only table was very inconsiderate. My guest requested a glass of wine and we were told we would have to wait for someone to come back from break before we received it. The water my guest received had something sitting at the bottom of it, no apology was given. The glasses and cutlery had deep scratches and water spots, even Boston Pizza wipes the water marks off the cutlery. Not what I was expecting, considering the area you expect better.

Well worth checking out!! It's a cool place with a great vibe (completely not expected for the area - a local commercial area, which was a great surprise). Their a variety of seating, all with a great view of the place, excellent to hang out over a bite and beverage with friends, to watch the game or even sing a little karaoke. The owner had been part of the Edmonson bar and restaurant scene forever, which had led to their fantastic food and great service!

My husband and I came here this evening and ordered 3 plates of the wings, and they were absolutely delicious. The quantity was great and we definitely left full. I ordered a chicken pot pie for myself and I won’t order it again. The taste was lacking and it wasn’t something I felt myself wanting to eat. It did take us a minute or two to be seated, but it could be due to not too many staff working there, which is totally okay! We loved the ambience, it wasn’t too loud or rambunctious, and the lighting wasn’t too dark or too bright. We will definitely be coming here again for another wing Wednesday.
Cool place to hangout with local folks,p met some dope people and had some good food! Drinks are brought out quick along with appetizers " this is very good while we wait for our main meal" Server was so dope, not annoying or coming around too often, she had provided us with an option for ordering about 6 times over 3 hours! Very reasonable prices and friendly staff *try the summer menu*

Great restaurant that I think is fairly new in Edmonton! As a huge aviation nerd, I was excited to give this place a try and it didn't disappoint! Great food, service and beers on tap with a great aviation theme! Can see myself coming here regularly!

My first time to the Twin Otter Fantastic service, great service and prices and food! Wow! An even bigger wow was the live music performance by The Leo Martinez Project! One of the best LIVE performers I’ve seen in many years! Had the great pleasure of seeing him a few more times since this night back in early January 2023 - I highly recommend looking him up and see where he’s playing next - @leomartinezproject on Instagram
Talk about a gem in the rough!!! We had pickle chips, lobster roll and cheesesteak and of course beer. The pickle chips were unique and very tasty, the cheesesteak was over-the-top and the lobster roll is the best we have ever had in Alberta. Job well done!! And if you want a properly poured Guinness ask for Magic to pour as he does it right. 07/29 Returned to The Twin Otter for brunch. It did not disappoint with an exceptional eggs Benny. Love this place!!
Guinness on Tap, what else is there to say? The wife and I came here for brunch- we sat on the patio and enjoyed a few beverages with some appies. Food was excellent and their selection of cocktails isn’t crazy but all the drinks on there are very good. Decently priced and like I said…Guinness on Tap!

Went for brunch- did not have coffee or tea. The table beside us had to go to Tim Horton for coffee. Took over an hour to get our drink and even missed 1 mimosa. Order side fruit and got 1 strawberry and 1/2 pineapple ring for $5. Not sure if was a bad day or if short staff that day.

I had a soup that cost $13 but it was more of a meal because of the large chunks of meat and potatoes...it was really good, id do it again...also they added Cobbs bread wedges. The only drawback is that they don't serve true 20 ounce pints. That's a deal breaker for me. I don't want to pay $8 + dollars for a sleeve. Just sayin.

Absolutely love Twin Otter! We live very close by and love having a neighborhood spot to go to. Would be great to see some menu changes but that is being very picky because running a local business is so incredibly tough and I absolutely love and support this place!!

My dad is visiting from India. I took him for the first time. Worst experience , the server’s and few customers over there were passing racist comments. I thought Canada was known for its diversity. Never go there initially I was thinking of getting a Christmas party for my staff. You lost a big client. Never going there

It was a beautiful night on the new patio that is a drastic improvement from 2022. Its east facing and there is no evening glare. Food was solid, its the happy hour that got me there with the great prices. Servers are always pleasant. I will go back, anytime.

Beautiful locally owned and operated bar with a good selection of beers and cocktails. Had great service from Madison. The food is dynamite. These Cajun potato skins are taste as delicious as they look. And Irene’s Carrot Cake is a killer finish to the meal.
We have been here twice now, and the food is awesome (both times). The lobster ravioli is superb! Very friendly and helpful staff plus a warm atmosphere. Great place, we will return with friends.

Absolutely love all of the food, unique plates compared to what you find everywhere else. Top shelf drinks, exceptional service, friendly atmosphere. This is on of my top 5 places to enjoy a drink with friends, date night and a great meal
We arrived with great expectations regarding their pub style menu and a great selection of beers. The staff were welcoming and efficient. The decor is retro aviation anchored by a twin otter theme. The seating space was clean and layout
I’ve been here many times now and the atmosphere is hit or miss depending on the night you’re here.. But the food is really good! The seafood stew is amazing, highly recommend. Their drinks selection is also quite good. More
Great patio in a quiet neighbourhood. A definite gem in the area. I highly recommend this as an option from the usual current restaurants. Great pub food and brunch breakfasts and other menu items with a twist.
I went on opening night years back and it was a amazing inclusive atmosphere. Years later I'm back and feel just as safe!(it's very important as a Trans guy). Will be my go to for years to come! More
Went for drinks, had Deeja as our sever and it was the deadliest time, she was around filling our drinks every 3 minutes, we will definitely be back to see her specifically! Absolute Deadly! More
Love the atmosphere. It’s a very friendly neighborhood pub. Love James. Would love it more if they brought back the crepe breakfast though. As well as add some other features to the menu. More
Nice local restaurant, husband ordered their burger hold the groceries and I had the ginger beef with basmati rice. Ginger beef was tender not crisp, flavours and spices were enjoyable!
Four stars all around! It wasn't the most amazing place I've ever ate and the food wasn't the most amazing food I've ever eaten, but none of it was bad by any means!
Brunch was very good today! But James is always the best! Always a bright shining face when you go in! He really makes the experience a 10/10 More
Company party but the food was minimal and not great. Otherwise bar service was second to none...great. atmosphere was nice. More
Had such a great time here the other night. Great food and my server Amanda was absolutely ace! 10/10 recommend. More
