"Good place for drinks, food or just cat hup with friends"
"WOW"
"The food was fantastic so it is a shame the venue is not maintained to the standard I would expect for such a great place"
"A sophisticated and spacious pub"
"It’s a nice setting but they need to work on their cleanliness"
Good place for drinks, food or just cat hup with friends. They've experimented with diffrent restaurant menus in past but pretty good now (Aug 2023)... Recommended the barramundi, very nice... oh and the Quiz night on Tuesday nights is fun. Clean, good service, plenty of parking. What not to like. More
WOW. A fantastic place. The set out of this venue is amazing. Spacious, clean, plenty of options for dining and this day we sat outside in the alfresco area and enjoyed a typical pub lunch. Service was great and all we encountered were helpful and positive in their nature. Definitely will revisit.
The food was fantastic so it is a shame the venue is not maintained to the standard I would expect for such a great place. Roof over he sports bar is full of cobwebs and insects along with the fan being filthy. Glad it was not on while I was eating More
A sophisticated and spacious pub. The food is delicious, and there is a wide selection of comfortable seating options. It is an absolutely fantastic place where I always leave fully satisfied and relaxed. It's a wonderful spot to unwind and enjoy. More
It’s a nice setting but they need to work on their cleanliness. The bar staff are friendly and warm. The sofa seats are dirty and stained. I had ti ask the staff to clean the table after the previous customer. We ordered sweet potato fries
Clean modern feel, adequate parking. For what is served the food is overpriced. Uncooked meat. (I am sure they will say this is deliberate; if, you are going to sear a burger patty such that the centre of the party is cold, this should be
A new venue for us. After reading other reviews I was concerned. We had been invited by friends. The venue is large and like lots of other Pubs around the Hills. Menu was typical for this type of venue and being a Saturday night it was
Beautiful venue. Incredibly clean and well decorated. Security went above and beyond to be welcoming and well humoured. Bar and kitchen staff were very friendly. Food was lovely. I ordered the chicken parmy (I order it everywhere that
Very modern, but for me, rather clinical building. I am fond of the traditional pub so it was not my ideal location for a bite to eat and a beer. Having said that, I am sure that there are many people who would love it. The staff were
Overall, the experience at the Vicar is interesting. The service at the bar is appalling and the restaurant bar is always closed. As a diner at the restaurant, you need to walk across the foyer of the venue with yours and your guests'
First and last time at The Vicar!!! We went here on Anzac Day, one of the busiest days but they were extremely understaffed. We ordered drinks and food at 2:40 only to be told that the kitchen was closed and would open again at 2:45 -
We experienced the first bottomless lunch for the season , Saturday- amazing very generous food 5 star quality, plenty of food , enjoyed lots of full size premium cocktails, wines or anything you wanted! 9 of us walked away full and
First time in for, just ducking in after hitting the range, and have to be impressed with the shirt time that I was there. Good selection of beers on tap, and the food was tasty! Will need to come back with the Fam nest time.
Very pleasant Saturday lunch, not too busy . Love the atmosphere … pleasant music, not too loud or intrusive, light and airy, loved my $25 bucket of prawns. Check the daily specials through the week also. More
A little bit pricey. Had to send my meal back because it was not very warm. The first rendition (luke warm potatoes) were really really garlicky. The second was a good temp and nowhere near as much garlic.
We came here for a meal recently with our parents. The music in the public bar was so loud it was hard to understand each other. The service was average at best because it feels always understaffed.
Met friends for lunch here recently. I enjoyed the Chili Prawn Linguini. Have heard considered talk favourably about the Vic before. Nice venue. Big! Lots of space to find a table with friends.
Great long lunch with the ladies, the food was exceptional, cocktails delicious and very generous to top it off the service was fantastic. Definitely recommend to go and take your friends. More
So we had my parents wedding reception there on Sunday ( Fathers Day) & can I just say how wonderful it was!! Kristina & Sam are absolutely amazing from the events team. They were so hands
Plenty of parking and they really managed to make the entire place very accessibility friendly (only one set of stairs in the entire joint to get up to some pool tables). Very clean.
Had a great night here on Sunday. Staff were nice, food was awesome and the vibe there is really welcoming. will definitely go back to try more of the menu.
Had a party for my sons 1st birthday. Everything was excellent - the pre planning and organisation, the staff on the day and the food was great quality. More
We stopped off at The Vicar for a late lunch. Beautiful venue, nice decor, ample parking! Service was efficient and meals were tasty and satisfying.
Often drive from Eastern Suburbs/Bondi. Stopped in to this venue with my 3 corgis and mum and brother and had a delightful lunch and drinks.
The food has got better the service is better also having pool tables now is awesome and who knew they had a courtesy bus!!! So good. …
Place is so big yet personal because of the service. I wasn't sure what to order. The lady was very cool took the her time to help me
Fairly big portions, good atmosphere, not super busy. Bit pricey ($32) for a parmi but it the portion and quality reflect that.
Simple atmosphere for a family meal. Food is ok. Highlight is the sweet potato chips. Pizza is ok. The fettuccine
Very large area for food and events, food are pretty nice, the chips are amazing. We been there many times.
