I would not recommend this studio. My first indication that something was off was when I was having trouble finding the place, so I called and the receptionist couldn't even direct me from 1 block away. The building was so hot my face was dripping with sweat. During my haircut here I felt more like a dog at the groomers than a client at a hair salon. I was passed around between 3 people, my hairstylist was only with me for about 15 minutes during which I got a haircut that I have legitimately cried over. When I told him what I wanted (keeping my lower chest length hair as long as possible while trimming the split ends) he responded "no." while smiling and proceeded to take 12cm off my hair WHILE IT WAS STILL DRY. I have never had a dry haircut before and hopefully this will be the last. It felt so rushed because he was doing the hair of two other people at the same time. He did not even ask where I part my hair before he started chopping away, so now I have a random chunk of hair that is much longer on one side than the other, in addition to the general uneven-ness of my cut. He told me multiple times how dry and frizzy my hair was (I tried explaining how I had brushed out all my curls purposely so he could see my last cut and how I had been at the beach the night before, not to mention how freakin hot it was outside) I knew the ends needed some work but he made me feel bad about it, probably to justify him taking 12cm off when I explicitly told him I wanted to keep it as long as possible. I will say the one ray of sunshine during this shitstorm of a cut was the lady who washed my hair after the cut. She was wonderful and it was the best scalp massage I've gotten during a shampoo. Also the coffee was good so there's that. I still can't look in a mirror without getting a tad upset for my lost hair. I know it will grow back eventually but feel duped by their otherwise great ratings on the internet. I could be just one haircut who slipped through the cracks of their standards but thats a hard pill to swallow when its your own hair. *posting under my bf's profile*

OH MY GOD! The worx hair salon is absolute bliss never have I ever been in such a beautiful, modern and upbeat salon. I take my hat off to the interior designer who surprisingly ended up being the ownerI walked into the salon and instantly was I blown away by the decor of this place. I mean not lots of places can pull off what this salon has done So anyway I got to the salon and I was greeted by the most stylish and good looking crew I asked for Manovie who worked her magic, I mean this women works ACTUAL MAGIC, never ever( no exaggeration) has my hair looked this good, after weeks I've still Been getting all these compliments She talked me through the whole procedure and what I love most was instead of the typical salon gossip, we actually had a really GOOD conversation. While I was getting my hair done the crew offered me a lattè which I honestly thought was prepaired by a real barista, damn these ladies make a good lattè☕️. They also set infront of me a variety of the latest magazines which kept me occupied for quite some time. The procedure didnt take that long I got a balayage and a olaplex treatment which made my hair unbelievably silky smooth and healthy ofcourse, I trust these ladies with my life Personally I give the Worx salon a 10/10, the atmosphere, the sevice and the end product was unbelievable! They are defiantly the best salon I've been to by far and for sure will I be going back! I honestly recommend them to anyone who wants to get any work done! you won't be sorry. XX

I went here for a cut and balayage. After 4 hours at the salon, I got home and realised the result of the colouring was nothing like a balayage (more like an ombre gone wrong) or the pictures I had shown my stylist. Naturally, I was upset and sad, feeling that I had wasted my time and money. HOWEVER!!! I decided to be brave and call the salon instantly, politely explaining the situation to them. They were so service minded, asking if I would be able to come back instantly, which I was, to see what they could do. When I came in, the stylist (sadly, I don´t remember her name) was so kind, understanding and helpful. I only got there at 5pm (I think they were closing at this time) and she stayed until 7pm, colouring my hair again and correcting the result. Without any cost, of course. She even took the time to style and curl it, and I never felt that she was rushing! I ended up walking out of the salon so happy with the result and feeling so satisfied. Miscommunication and mistakes can happen to the best of us, the difference is how you chose to deal with it. However, I will not be coming back to do my hair here.

I love the Worx. I always have a hard time finding a hairdresser who can deal with my hair texture, but Shezmay has been giving me consistently great haircuts for a year now. She is genuinely sweet and interested, always friendly and talks easily, while keeping it very professional. The space is comfortable and I am always offered a complimentary tea or coffee. I always feel very well looked after, it feels like a treat which a haircut should be!

She transformed my listless brunette hair into a palette of the most gorgeous chocolate, vanilla and honey blondes and styled my hair to perfection. The best salon in Cape Town. Service is great, the staff is friendly. I always look forward to my appointments. The results of my hair when I leave is always fantastic. Many times I'm not sure what style or colour I want to go for. Manovie always has good advice. I highly recommend this salon to anyone keen on having a hair changing experience. I promise you would not go to another salon again.

It was ok. They'd really obviously forgot about my appointment but didn't let on and tried to fit me in anyway, and throughout the experience I just felt a bit neglected as a customer. No one let me know the next step in my treatment process and I felt a bit awkward. I'm happy with the service - my cut was quick and I'm happy with the result - but the experience wasn't great.

I really love this place. They offer very professional services and they do not charge crazy amounts for it like most salons I've been to. The staff are all also very friendly. I had a Brazillian Blowout done and my hair is looking better than it ever has before, it's super soft, straight and shiny. I definitely recommend this salon to everyone.

Went for hair and beauty. Felt like I jumped into the movie hairspray, the salon was busy and vibrant. Was happy with my hair, went in with an overgrown mop, came out with style. I had a lovely experience at the Worx. I called that day and was able to come in and get my hair dyed. The stylist listened to my color requests and chose the perfect chocolate brown for my hair. I was served hot tea and the shampooing was very relaxing, long head massage! Overall very satisfied with the service.
