Tutto sommato consiglio vivamente questo posto. Son venuto a visitare la Corea e mi son detto del perché non colorarsi i capelli dal momento che ero qui e quindi mi son ritrovato a cercare un salone, principalmente mi son trovato questo salone perché era vicino al mio hotel. I ragazzi son stati molto cordiali nei miei confronti pur non sapendo il coreano e l'inglese, ma riuscivamo comunque a comunicare abbastanza bene. Il taglio che volevo io alla fine non l'ho potuto fare a causa dei miei capelli troppo lisci ma il ragazzo mi ha comunque aiutato molto e siamo riusciti a trovare un punto di incontro per il mio taglio di capelli e mi è piaciuto più di quanto pensassi, invece per il colore per colpa dei miei capelli troppo scuri non sono riusciti a renderli chiari come volevo perché già dopo 2 colorazioni si rischiava di rovinare troppo il mio capello e mi hanno sconsigliato di farlo e proposto un colore più scuro. Il risultato finale non posso dire che era quello che volevo ma il risultato finale mi piace più di quello che avevo chiesto, per i prezzi invece li trovo abbastanza onesti, ovviamente a me mi si è alzato il prezzo per le 2 decolorazioni ma l'ho trovato molto adeguato il prezzo

The Day's hair salon is an amazing experience. Dean and his associates take really great care of their clients. I was lucky enough to find them through a Google search and DM'd them on IG since I don't have a Korean number. They responded so quickly via IG and was so accommodating! I actually wasn't expecting a reply so this was a very nice surprise. I had no idea how popular they were because they took my appointment so quickly but they are a very busy salon! Dean would check to make sure everything is going well with every client but also his associates gave the same amount of care and kindness as he did and I was so impressed. To top it off, they even took my mom's hair treatment appointment at the last minute. They are so kind and accommodating and I don't need go speak on how well they do with color because you can see the proof in itself with everyone's photos listed on Google.....every single one of the photos are amazing!!! They are so skilled in color and have so much knowledge! I am so happy with my hair and wish I had them back home so I can come more often! Thank you Dean for taking care of my mom and me you made the end of our family trip a memorable one for sure!

International friendly. I love how attentive they are & service is very nice. I came in asking for a khaki brown color and my results aren’t quite that so that’s my only reason I gave it a low rating. It took more than 3hrs to do my hair and I felt like it looks the same lol, maybe like a shade or two lighter. Not what I provided for my inspo. Also, I noticed the next day when I was outside on the sunlight, my roots is 2 shades lighter & warmer than the rest of my hair… I feel like a salon with this many reviews shouldn’t have let me walk out of the salon with hot roots. It was even more apparent after the second wash. The hair dye & cut with treatment costed me $192.98. While I booked via Instagram and it was noted that Dean give a 20% discount. However, I find the price to be around the same price on Naver (what the locals pays). When checking out, they ask if I can post a google review and they will give me a slight discount (8,000 won). This is a common practice not only with them but business around Hongdae as well. Personally, I don’t agree with this practice and it probably explains why they have so many good google reviews to appeal to foreigners…

I went here for the second time. I have tried many different places in Korea. I have curly, wavy, fine hair. So it is hard for me to find a place that can do my hair. However both experiences at The Day's Hair Salon have been great! This time I had Sugyeong (수경). Truthfully, it was probably the best haircut I have had in Korea, and maybe better than most I got in America. It was the first time I was actually asked, "Can I see the picture again?", "do you want me to layer your hair?" and on top of that, talking with her was a great experience. The staff here is great. I recommend it to everyone. I wasn't going to upload a picture, but I feel like I have to! It came out very cool and natural looking! 두 번째 방문이었어요. 한국에서 여러 곳을 시도해 봤지만, 제 머리 스타일을 잘 해줄 수 있는 곳을 찾기가 어려웠어요. 그런데 더 데이즈 헤어에서의 두 번의 경험이 모두 훌륭했어요! 이번에는 수경 디자이너를 만나게 되었는데, 솔직히 말해서, 한국에서 받은 미용 중 가장 좋았던 것 같고, 아마 미국에서 받은 대부분의 미용보다 더 나았을지도 모르겠어요. 이번에 처음으로 '사진 다시 한 번 볼까요?'라고 물어보고, '머리 층을 넣어 드릴까요?'라고 물어봐 주셨는데, 더데이즈 헤어에서의 대화도 훌륭한 경험이었어요. 여기 직원들도 정말 훌륭해요. 모두에게 추천드립니다. 사진을 올리지 않을 예정이었는데, 올릴 수밖에 없는 것 같아요! 매우 멋지고 자연스러운 스타일이 나왔어요!

I’m so glad I found The Days Hair salon and was able to make make an appointment during my trip to Korea. I had an amazing experience thanks to Jino and the rest of the staff. They were very patient and explained to me every detail they did along with the cost of each and made me very comfortable. The best part was how foreign friendly it was. Traveling was hard enough because I didn’t know the language very well, but they were able to communicate with me and understand the vision I had for my hair. Every time they did something, they always kept me up to date with what was about to happen and made sure I knew what was going on and if I was comfortable. Jino was very helpful in finding the right style to fit me based on my inspirations and his top priority was making sure my hair stayed healthy throughout the process. It’s so hard to find a good salon and I would definitely come back again on my next trip. Everyone was so sweet and I’m so happy with how my hair turned out! It’s exactly what I wanted! I was recommended to Designer JINO by another Designer at THE DAYS (who has previously done my hair) who specializes in Balayage and I‘m always super happy that I‘m with him! It's been my 3rd time with THE DAYS and they‘re my permanent hair salon in Seoul now. The praises are endless on my side and the pictures/reviews speak for themselves. I think the prices are very reasonable for the service and experience you get there :) I‘m always thankful to Designer JINO for making me super pretty every time! I would describe myself as a rather difficult customer because I never know exactly what I want. But JINO always listens carefully to my wishes, concerns, and references. He gives you honest and rational advice. He‘s also very gentle and always makes sure that you understand every step of what his team and he are doing on your hair. Everyone in his team is super friendly and sweet! They always make sure you feel very comfortable and stay hydrated during my 5-6 hour sessions

Did not have the best experience here as raved by other consumers. Was attended by Dean to cut and dye my hair and he recommended red. During the process, my forehead and side of the face was stained with dye, but the assistants did not clean it away. The end results was uneven shade of red, my roots were still dark compared to the bottom half. Stylist did not even show me the back view of my hair after the session. For the haircut, he just trimmed the ends and charged 33000 won. Throughout the session, no beverage was served. Among my three salon visits in Seoul, I had a much better welcoming experience in the popular chain Jxxx salon in Myeongdong and another one next to Seongsu station. A picture tells a thousand words. First photo taken 4days after dyeing, 2nd photo taken one month after dyeing and discolored badly, 3rd photo shows the stain left on my face. I have been using Phyto color shampoo and the quality of the dye fails.

An amazing experience from scheduling to consultation to results! On a recent trip to Korea, I reached out via Instagram and was able to book a coloring appointment for my friend and I. Dean was extremely responsive and was able to accommodate both our appointments even though it was pretty last minute. Unfortunately my friend got COVID so she had to cancel her appointment and Dean was very understanding. However I was still able to get my hair done and the results were amazing! Dean was very honest about what color could be achieved with my hair and gave me 2 consultations during my appointment: 1 before bleaching and 1 after. He was able to get me to a smokey beige globally and I'm overall extremely satisfied with the results. If you're looking to get your hair done while in Korea, don't hesitate and reach out to Dean over Instagram to get your appointment scheduled ASAP!

Amazing hair salon, especially for foreigners since it is easy to book, the staff speaks English and knows their way around different hair types. I got the hair treatment and a haircut : The hair treatment was amazing, besides the treatment in itself (which they explain), the staff that took care of my hair was very gentle, it felt like I was getting a head massage for free in addition hihi. Dean was very knowledgeable, he explained what was best for my face and worked around my already existing colour in a fast but steady way, you could tell in an instant he is great at what he does. Finally, another staff, Hyunuk, did the styling part, he was very meticulous and I‘ve never loved one of my hairstyles as much as this one. If you want to leave feeling like the cutest version of yourself (and hear 너무 귀엽다 as you walk home), I highly recommend this place !! :)

I was going to be in Seoul for a couple days and my goal was to get my hair done while I was there. I found out about The Day hair salon while doing my research online and was easily able to get a reservation through Instagram. Jino and the staff there are very nice, welcoming, and were able to communicate in English. Jino was very thorough in his explanation and wanted to make sure I understand his explanations and expectations. He was working with other customers as well, but was always overseeing the process while the other staff supported him. It was a long hair day, but the results were all worth it. Love my hair and would definitely recommend this salon to anyone looking to get their hair done in Seoul! ❤️

Super recommend this hair salon in the beautiful streets of Hongdae! Such a hidden jem! They all knew how to assist and speak in English to give suggestions in par with the outcome you want and they do their magic! Sitting there didnt feel like forever since I was looking forward to every step since the whole process was meticulously done. I was styled by Dean and he made sure that until the styling part I was taken cared of! First time to ever color or bleach my hair so the whole process was initially nerve-wrecking but all the team made sure my hair was taken good care off from start to end. Kudos and can't wait to be back for another experiment with my hair!

The Day’s Hair salon is a nice airy salon with a very clean aesthetics. The staff are very friendly. Some of the staff speak English so it made the process a lot easier. My hair stylist was Jino. Jino is very honest and speaks his mind. I came initially thinking I’d get a perm. However as I had previously bleached and box dyed my hair, Jino had recommended not to perm, as it will further dry out and damage my hair. Instead, I got a hair cut and hair dyed. Jino was very gentle and reassuring. I really love my new hair cut, curtain bangs and new colour. I really enjoyed my experience, and am keen to return once my hair grows out to get my perm.

I worked with Dean for my color after a bad experience at another hair salon in Hongdae! The difference is crazy, I'm extremely pleased with the cut and color they gave me. They are foreigner hair friendly and excellent with bleach services. Don't take the chance with salons that don't specifically cater to foreigner hair, honestly. Just come here and do it right. I'll come back to get my hair done here for as long as I stay in Korea. <3

오늘 머리하고왔는데요~ 에쉬로염색했는데 너무너무 대대대만족입니다ㅎ 전에 자른곳에서 탈색을 해본 경험으로 개털이 되면서 엄청 고생했었는데요, 더데이즈 쌤들 덕분에 엄청 자연스럽고 컬러도 완전 예쁘게 나왔습니다!ㅎ 다음에 또 올께요~ 너무 만족입니다!ㅎ 다른분들도 고민하지마시고 오시길바래요~

미국에서 살다가 오랜만에 한국 들어왔는데요 그때 마침 딘을 인스타를 통해서 찾아서 너무 기뻐요. 딘 선생님 머리를 진짜 꼼꼼하게 자르고 딘과 같이 일하는 사람들도 저를 잘 챙겨 주셔서 좋은 경험이었어요. 미용실의 인테리어 디잔인과 분위기도 참 좋았어요. 진짜 다시 올만 해요.

인스타로 옴브레 염색 검색해서 예약하고 갔는데 디자이너분과 스탭분들 너어어무 친절하고 긴시간동안 머리도 정성스럽게 잘 해주셨어요 ! 손상머리라 걱정했는데 색도 넘 오묘하게 포토샵한것 처럼 예쁘게 나왔어용 !! 리터치하러 또 갈게용

더데이즈에서 머리해주시는 딘쌤과 직원분들이 친절히 반겨주시고 서비스가 상당히 맘에 들고 머리 하는동안 지루하지 않게 말동무도 친하게 대해주셔서 좋네요. 하고싶은 머리도 원하는 만큼 나와서 상당히 만족스럽습니다. 다음에도 여기서 머리할 예정이네요!

더 데이즈 헤어는 오픈했을 때부터 지금까지 방문하고 있고, 원장님께는 커트받은 지 약 6년도 더 되어가는 거 같네요. 제 머리 상태와 스타일을 가장 잘 이해하시고, 매번 만족스럽게 시술해주셔서 항상 믿고 맡기고 있습니다.
