When Frank Tout, Bruce Beck and John Ervin were in charge this was the all round the best school ever in the civilized world. And "The Howe Tower" was the gold standard for >50 years. Tom Lewis Musicals... enough said the man was a genius. And Bob Bramlett brought so many of us to classical music appreciation, what a gift. We joked how he and I were the EPITOME (ep-e-tome) of Machismo. Seems every Department Head at Howe was outstanding in their field, some were corn fields but that was the Agriculture Dept. this school sucks alot i have been there 4 5 years bad food bad teachers and the test scores are way down down down they are way bellow marshalls i just graduated this year it sucked alot i baraly made a 3.0 and i am smarter than that

I went to Howe in '68 and '69. I loved this school so much. I graduated from another high school, but Howe will always be my school.

My last year at Howe was 1969, Good teachers, Good school, I loved it at Howe
