Just went to check out the flooding situation as I'd lived nearby for most of my life & have seen the area flood many times including the 1974 floods. At 3 p.m. the soccer fields still hadn't flooded but the creek was a torrent and definitely dangerous.

Huge number of soccer fields . A beautiful location to go. To reflect on life and pray for the disadvantaged mentally ill and social equality and a fair go for the sick and lonely

Only thing it's missing is a nearby toilet. Otherwise, it's a great spot. Field is always nice. Some gardens nearby for shade, bus station isn't too much of a walk. :)

Annerley Juniors FC play here! Monkey Bar Cafe at the playground. The bikeway could do with a bit of straightening - why those two narrow right-angle bridges???

I enjoy the Bikeway. However if you're so inclined. It would be a great place for sports. Not to mention a playground, BBQ area and a cafe. All very handy

Monkey Bar cafe is a favourite haunt and well worth the visit. Jenn and her team do a great job with limited space. Highly recommended.

DO visit with your toddler. DON'T carry him to reach the monkey bars and forget to not bang your shins on the shin height metal bar.

Long walk/cycle track. Lights in all the place. Three under bridges. Subject to flooding while raining.

Had lunch, played Bocchi, whilst mums /dads/babies/toddlers shared the spacious park.
