"This park is well looked after, most often used by locals, and is popular with those who like to keep fit and healthy; there is an outdoor gym consisting of pull up and chin up bars as well as other fixed/permanently affixed gym equipment"
"The kids playground was closed for ages but hardly any improvements made"
"A nice and handy little park with outdoor gym equipment"
"Thornbury Park is a lot better since the major improvements that has rid the park of its previous anti-social reputation"
"Incredibly outstanding place to be happy, warm, and to feel love and peace"
This park is well looked after, most often used by locals, and is popular with those who like to keep fit and healthy; there is an outdoor gym consisting of pull up and chin up bars as well as other fixed/permanently affixed gym equipment. There is a separate enclosed area which is really good for kids with slide, swings and climbing frame etc. Also there is a basketball and football court adjacent to the gym and kids park. There is a pathway upon entering the park which is also good for disabled people, leading to another entrance/exit close to local apartments.
The kids playground was closed for ages but hardly any improvements made. It's very limited for kids of all ages. Positives are the skate park and court for football/basketball and the exercise area, but you call smell cannabis being smoke nearly all the time. People sit drinking very close to the kids play area regularly too. The poorest park I've had to take the kids to.
A nice and handy little park with outdoor gym equipment. Better to go in daytime as it becomes a spot for local heavy drinkers in the evenings. Has a good play area for kids. A skating ramp adds some quirkiness to the space and I like to exercise while doing a bit of people watching. Nice to see skaters of different racial backgrounds and ages mingling. Yo bro, let's go!
Thornbury Park is a lot better since the major improvements that has rid the park of its previous anti-social reputation. The park is made up of five sections. The track, the skate park, the basketball/football pitch, the kids area and last but not least, the park gym.
Incredibly outstanding place to be happy, warm, and to feel love and peace.
Playground
Skate board spot and kids playground that are well organised and friendly maintained. Thank you very well indeed for everything.
Dog-friendliness
I love it
Good loval open spce in iselworth, hounslow. Parking on the street is expensive at £3.50 an hour. Unless you are a resident permit holder. Children playing area is okay… skating park is okay. Overall it's just okay?
Used to be nice, lots of dodgy characters and the last six months there have been a couple of stabbings and even a shooting at the entrance. Still, you can say that about a lot of places in London at the moment. :(
Thornbury park features a small skatepark, children's play area and a decent looking outdoor fitness area with several pieces of aperatus. There is also a basketball/small football court/field.
Great for druggies and youths drinking alcohol into the early hours. The noise is ridiculous and shouldnt be allowed. Fireworks until the early hours around the usual times, so annoying.
It's nice children play area but in afternoon a lot of teens go there so unfortunately little one like to watch them and sometimes they are dealing with drugs. The state zone is nice too
There seems to be some construction going in the field, I think they're making a track going around. Park is nice only let down by some of the undesireable users i.e. non family kind
Sizeable park with play area for children, outdoor gym and skateboard area. Benches scattered around and plenty of grass area for relaxation and play. Fairly clean and well kept.
Very good place for family. Kids can enjoy the play equipment while there is clear path made for adults to jog or walk. There is also decent gym equipment for adults to work out
Adults have gym place while kids can enjoy Park place. Also there is a scooter or skating place. A small one though. Wonderful place and quiet peaceful with a big walking track.
The park itself is very well kept. It has a good kids play area. The only off-putting thing is the hordes of teenagers from the local college smoking/selling drugs all day
Well maintained park. They have now renovated a separate walking path for walkers and jogger's. Kids section has very limited collection but it's very good.
This park is very near to my house. Have a separate area for children. Common gymnasium facility available in open air. Place for skating is also available.
new track makes it perfect for running. I would love some lights because it gets very dark but overall is a nice place to get some fresh air in Isleworth.
The park itself is good but if you're planning to play Basketball come early afternoon or late evening as the kids take over the court and play football.
It's a good place. It could be better but there's no car park, no bike store, few bins, few benches, no toilete and there's too much clay surrounding.
Called in for five minutes on my way to Syon Park to pay homage to the playing fields which appeared in the Beatles film A HARD DAYS NIGHT!
Small park. Not many activites for kids. Its nice and enclosed but doesn't have enough facilities and only one bench for parents to sit.
24.12.2022 Large park with basketball court, children's play area, skate ramp and exercise equipment. No toilets. Benches to sit on.
Great outdoor gym which includes pull up bars Children's playground, Basketball court, skate park and nice large green space. …
Nice location on London road. few mins walk from Hounslow East and Isleworth. big park and nice walking track and play area for kids
This park is amazing for little children aged 3-6 or less (depending on how sporty they are) But i would recommend Osterley park..
There is a tree along the lake that provides the perfect seating position to view the sunset in spring. Love Osterley Park! ❤️
Well equipped and well managed green, new kids skating rink, good fir all ages and walking distance from Hounslow burgage.
Good place to spend time with your family. There are couple attractions such as kids playground, green gym, skate park.
Nice park, got children's play ground, basketball court and some gym workout equipments. The big field is also good.
Nice open space for kids to run around, playground also skate ramp but I wouldn’t say it was a very good skatepark.
Causal park with a little outdoor work out area and a little stake park and a little park for the kids to play on
Many memories heree However I have seen people hide stuff in the bushes before and would stay away from bushes
Not much I can say about a park, it's a big park, clean, has a nice running track, and also kids play ground.
Manual exercise machines, skating track, basketball court, jogging track, swings for children and big grounds
A lovely piece of green space. Lots of benches. Good for sitting in during lunch break away from the office.
Small but beautiful park. Very small kids park and along with there is a basketball court and skating ring.
Nice Park, but I wish people would be precisely that, people, not animals throwing rubbish inside the park.
Quiet open space linking London Road to St John's Road Children play area and adult physical training area.
Place it cool and quiet also got a outdoor gym free access to public. Unfortunately it has no car parking
Milad tower an excellent location for bungee jump as well as the tallest tower with an amazing restaurant
Great outdoors space please pick up your dog's poo please I have grandchildren who are under the age of 3
A nice and safe place for health. Well maintained. Nice view. Just walking distance from my apartment.
Nice relaxed part mainly for strolling, It has some outdoor exercise equipment for adults and children
Loads of rubbish in the area so not a great place to walk your dog of their food obsessed like mine
A nice park in Isleworth, avoid during lunch hours of the local college as it can get very edgy!
Small park, small playground. But also has basketball and football pitch and exercise equipment.
This park is ok but hasnt got a lot of resources for kids to play in but has a massive field.
Very good place for short walk or run. Would be great if more stuff are added in the centre
Nice but the play area could be extended a little bit you could make it a really nice place
It's a nice park but not alot to do and alot of shady people around. Would not reccomend
A very pleasant place to visit for mind peace . loved to play table tennis in this park
Nice open grass area with skate board and playground. Clean and well kept by Hounslow.
NO WHERE TO SIT NOT THE GREATEST CYCLING TRACK AND FAR TOO MUCH ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR
Nice park its some places where you just can sit alone nobody disturb you …
Favourite park by far. Always feel welcome and safe. Beautiful scenes every season.
Lovely park, fruit trees for public This way children learn about fruits and trees
I jus lov this place. After dark the whole sky opens up an one could be anywhere
Nothing special but it's a good green area with a track to have some runs ^^
Very tranquil even with some vehicle noise from the A4 close by. Peaceful.
The Beatles were here doing a scene from A Hard Day's Night in early 1964.
Nice for a little walk, picnic or to get the kids active in this lockdown
Expect more, plenty of room for development and extending the playground.
Great place to take kids lovely grass area for family day out or picnic.
Nice and peaceful. New trees being planted which is a good improvement.
It can be a lot safer place if they can get all the drugdealer out....
Park is tidy and has an enclosed play area, basketball and skate ramps
Nice area, and some variety in landscape, best to go when not so busy
It is not very clean and they don't have a lot of benches to sit on
Love this park and the facilities, a place for all to chill …
Nice place to go in the day time, nice place to get shot at night.
It's ok for a jog or walk. Not sure if a family would like it.
Good park for morning walk
Playground
Good playground
A very nice park to hang out with family , friends and kids.
Nice open Park. Pity about the rubbish left around by people
Went with a few friends, lovely day in a well attended park
Playground and skate park. Large fields and walking track
Wonderful Park to walk around with family and friends.
A nice quite and peaceful park. With a kids play area
Very dull and undesirable people give it a wide birth
Nice park but not to many options for kids to play .
There is pull up bar That is all i need …
À lot of teenage smoking weed an drinking swearing.
Not well kept and children play ground too small.
A fabulous lifesaver in lockdown for morning runs
Spacious green area. Can walk through at night.
