Review for Thrifty Car Rental: My experience with Thrifty Car Rental was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I had booked a car online and arrived at the rental location 20 minutes earlier to ensure that I could complete the paperwork without any delays. However, to my surprise, the car I had booked was not on the premises, causing a delay of 30 minutes from the original booking time and 50 minutes from the moment I arrived. To make matters worse, after I finally left with the car, I received a call from the rental agent stating that they had failed to notice my new license during the initial check-in. The agent informed me that if I were to get into an accident, I would be held responsible for a whopping 2,000 AED instead of the 900 AED that I had agreed to when signing the rental agreement. This lack of attention to detail on their part was both concerning and unprofessional. Upon returning the car, I was about an hour late from the original agreed-upon time. However, I firmly believe that this delay was primarily due to the fact that the rental agent had handed me the car late in the first place. The agent at the return counter immediately informed me that I would be charged for an extra day. I refused, explaining the series of delays and issues I had faced earlier. The agent made some calls and eventually agreed to charge me for a half-day, which was still an inconvenience considering the circumstances. As if all the previous problems were not enough, the agent then proceeded to inspect the car and accused me of neglecting the spare tire. He claimed that the tire was old and emphasized that it was a safety issue. This accusation was completely unjustified, as I had no prior knowledge of any issues with the spare tire. It seemed like a desperate attempt to shift blame and extract additional charges from me. Overall, my experience with Thrifty Car Rental was marred by a series of delays, poor attention to detail, and an attempt to impose unjust charges. I am deeply disappointed with the level of service I received and the unprofessionalism displayed by the rental agents. I will not be recommending Thrifty Car Rental to anyone, and I advise others to be cautious when considering this company for their car rental needs.

I had to rent a car recently and I chose Triffty Car Rental. I'm really glad I did. From the start, everyone there was super helpful and friendly. Captain Fahim Muhammad ran a tight ship and made sure everything was smooth and easy for me. Ihtisham explained all the car features so I knew exactly what I was getting. I also want to give a shoutout to Mr. Waseem. He helped me understand the pricing, and I gotta say, the price was really reasonable compared to other places I've checked out. No hidden fees or anything, just good, honest pricing. The car was clean and ran like a dream. Returning it was a breeze, too. I'll definitely be coming back next time I need to rent a car. unfortunately first and worst experiance. a piece of advise for all customers please check the car thoroughly before renting. The inspection is done in 5 mins when giving the car to the customers however while returning it, they will take half an hour to inspect and find each and every scratch which might have been there when u took the car. the representative just refused to take the car back and asked me to get a police report for a very small minor scratch which might have been there before. it took me more than 1 hour to explain and finally waive the penalty. i would suggest goto some other rent a car company. BE CAREFUL.

Very helpful staff. Ashwini provided all the details and gave some suggestions. Provided updates and reminders as well. Very smooth and easy transaction. I really like that they have unlimited mileage as it gives me comfort that I can travel around UAE without worries. Cars I’ve rented are always in great condition.

Called them to request car rental. They said we will check car availability and update you. They did not get back to me. I tried to call them to inquire on my request but they didn’t answer or call me back. Wasted my time.
