I've been to this place 3 and 1/2xs and I have been very disappointed each time unfortunately, this place is right between my job and home and on my schedule it was conviene that got me here. But this was the last straw! The first time within three days my gel nail polish(acrylic nails) started to chip and crack so there was cracks on half my nails. Went back within a week to get them redone this being the second time i told her about them cracking. Well she redid them just so that in that same week they started to come unglued from my real nails. Didn't have time to go back that same week so that second week i went in and told her i wanted them completely redone as in taking them off and starting from scratch well i guess to her it didn't seem convenient because she insisted only one needed to be redone completely when most were coming unglued. Guess what on the second day one of them completely broke off in half! I don't do heavy work i work at a cell phone store! Rushed in to get it redone 30mins before i had to go in to work hence the 1/2 part only one nail got redone. Well today would be 2 weeks since that day and one of my nails broke in half again!! Wasn't too upset about it it's been 2 weeks except as i was removing it with acetone i noticed my nail was brown and brittle don't know what caused it but i have been getting my nails done for a long time and never has that happened to me! And yes i do give my nails a break.. So i won't be returning smh.

I thrilled to have found Tianna! I am new to getting my nails done and was confused with all the options; acrylics, dip, gel, solar, etc. She patiently explained what the differences are and asked me my nail goals: how I wanted my nails to look like and how long I planned on getting them done (once for an event or a regular thing). She made a recommendation and explained why. I absolutely LOVED the outcome. I got acrylic over my natural nails, so I could easily change the color design. I had shown her a photo from Pinterest and she replicated it perfectly! You'll have to excuse the photo, I took it 3 weeks after I got my nIls done and the lighting is terrible, but you can clearly see the amazing job she did. I recommend you make an appointment before heading over. The day I was there, there were only 2 other people working and they were regulars. Walk-ins were welcome, but they had to wait. I had mase an appointment and didn't have to wait.

Sitting here getting my nails done. Fuming. Spare yourself and go somewhere else. I asked the manicurist 8 times to please do my nails as short as possible. I wanted short natural nails. I even showed a picture. The tips were 1/2 inch from the top of my finger. Not at all what I wanted. She refused until I asked her to please stop so I could leave. She wouldn’t let me leave. She finally agreed to cut them short. I wanted a full set and the fake tip isn’t even laying flat against my nails. So they’ll probably end up popping off. There’s acrylic all over my fingers because it’s such a messy job. There seems to be happy customers with other techs - but I will never come here again. 45 minutes and she’s still not done putting the gel on. Total nightmare. She didn’t clean underneath the nails and it looks disgusting. Will be going somewhere else tomorrow to get this fixed.

Awful experience. Customer service is okay but quality sucks. I paid for dip nail and it only last 4 days before the clear top coat started peeling away. I went back and told them what happened and they offered to fix it. The nail technician trying to fix my nails did not know what she was doing. She redid my top coat 3 times because it would not dry under the uv light.. she finally realized she had the wrong top coat and my nails dried. They looked awful. She got nail polish all around my nail, it was streaky, and my cuticle is all dried out from her taking the nail polish off. I tried to tell her multiple times that I did not like how it was turning out and she was very understanding but just did not do a good job every time she tried to fix it. I'm upset I paid 40+ dollars and it didn't even last me a week..I will not return here again.

Tianna did my nails yesterday , and did a absolutely beautiful job she did them exactly how i asked her to do . I have been in Austin from California for just about 9 mths and have tried several different places and none of them even come close to comparing to Tianna’s i got full set pink and white and am very very picky about how my nails look , and I just can not say enough about how pleased i am with her work , and i might throw in that the salon was very clean and smelled great also she had to remove my old nails and was very gentle did not hurt me even once and was just as gentle putting new ones on . She didnt file my cuticle like a couple places here in Austin have done and last but not least i had appointment and as soon as i walked in she was actually waiting on me ... I love love love this place would not go any where else ...

I’ve been going to Tianna Nails for two years now and it is by far my favorite nail salon. I always go to Lucy because she works quickly but my nails still come out perfect literally every single time. Whenever she’s busy or not at work, I go to Tianna or Karen instead who also do incredible work and always have my nails looking amazing! The prices are very reasonable as well. Another thing I really love about this particular salon is that they have a very warm and welcome, family type of vibe. They know me by name at this point and they always greet me when I come in or say bye before I leave. All of the ladies are so sweet and treat you like a family member. Tianna (the owner) really goes out of her way to provide exceptional customer service. Never going to another nail salon!!

My first time here. 4 tips off my $45 full set popped off within 3 days. I waited 50 minutes after my appointment time to be seated. Staff was not friendly. Nail tech didn't say 3 words to me. She rushed because knew I was walking out the door and manager talked me into waiting 3 more minutes. And to top it off the manager wouldn't even honor a 10% off Yelp coupon I had, saying Yelp should have removed the offer. It wasn't like it was $25 off or something. It was a misely $4 (I could have become a lifetime customer. They gave that up over $4). Nails looked good, but the experience was awful and nails didn't even last 72 hours. What a waste of time and $45. I will never return. The other reviews on here must be friends and family. My experience was totally opposite.

I have come here 3 times for acrylics and have had a very good experience with Brittany the two times I had her, however the first time the girl was not careful with the tools and hit my cuticals so often they had scabs the day after. my mother also had this technician and she said multiple times that she was hurting her, however she continued to be careless with the Dremel tool. however I came the next time and Brittany was very careful and very sweet. I got her again the last time I went and got gel again, however there were bubbles in my index and thumb nail paint and later that day they started chipping. not necessarily her fault but it was disappointing.

I've been going to Tianna's for around 4 yrs and I can honestly say it's the best nail salon i've been to as well as the best experience i've ever had, from professionalism to sanitaryness. Tianna and her staff are simply the best. The atmosphere is so welcoming and calm. I've been to salons where they have pause my service to start a service on a customer who just walked in. Tianna's patient, kind and personable. She's talented and fast while still taking her time to ensure she does the best job. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Walked in to get a pedicure. The place was moderately full. The lady at the entrance told me to sit for about 15-20 minutes. I wanted a basic mani/pedi, and didn’t mind waiting. I noticed that other patrons were walking in and being serviced while I was still sitting and waiting. I practically felt ignored and shunned and would not recommend this place of business to anyone who values good customer service. It looks unfavorably on the whole establishment.

I love love love this place make me feel like im home the employees are so sweet & nice. Plus love how Tianna does good job on my nails whenever i get a chance to go. But one of the other staff who does my nails as well more often then the other staff do....always cuts me around my cuticles or above them. Even if her hands are shaking or not & some time she doesn't remove the extra top coating before puttin my nails into the uv light.

My first time coming here I had a horrible experience but the owner Tianna reach out to me and made it right. Not only did she do an amazing job but she took her time and we had some many amazing conversations the entire time!! By the time I left she felt like a good friend I’ve known for years!! She is a sweet hearted young lady.. she’s very motivated and intelligent!!! Definitely would only recomend Tianna!!

Went in just now for an easy gel manicure. There were two nail techs that appeared to be open But I was told I still had a 50 min wait. The open nail techs had no interest in even trying to see me. Wouldn’t even look at me and Seemed racist. I won’t be back and I wouldn’t if I were y’all. Looking at the work they were doing no wonder they were half empty. Go across the street. It’s better.

I love coming here, and have been coming here for a cpl of years now. Tianna is amazing at what she does. She is always so friendly and always wants to make sure you love what's she's doing for you. The staff is super friendly as well. This is just an overall great place to come! They do a great job in everything they offer. You will definitely not leave disappointed! Go Check Them out!!!

love their services, second time here ,the first time i had no issues but went in for a refill and after a week my gel nails chipped and had scratches,never seen such before they usually hold up until i go for a refill,maybe a bad nail polish?other than this its the first nail place ill love in austin,karen shapes nails so good and they dont come off,i also love the new pedicure chairs

The ladies are super nice. They use the dip powder like acrylic nails. They do not have dip. I personally do not like acrylic as the look bubbly. My nails already look like they have growth… literally just got back from having them done. They do not have prices posted or a price sheet, so they can charge whatever they want. It was over priced for what I got. Not sure I will be back

I’ve been coming here for about 2 years and I always love my nails but today I loved them so much I decided to write a review I personally always go to Tianna because I love how she takes her time on the nails and makes sure I like how they are looking in the process it took me a long time to find a great nail tech especially because I’m picky but I gotta say I love her work!!

Very kind staff, that goes above and beyond. Very relaxing evening and they got me in really fast last minute. I had an appointment set somewhere else but when I went in they said it would be 40min wait due to walk a high volume of walkins. Due to that mishap I was able to do my mani and pedi at the same time here and they were very understanding of it! I will definitely be back!

I've known Tianna for more then 5 years she always is friendly to her customers. She takes care of them like they are family. She can do anything. She can do acrylics on people with bitten short nails which is something a lot of nail techs struggle with. Tianna makes sure things are done right and if not she will fix it because she wants everyone to be happy

Had a wonderful experience and I am very picky about my nails and from out of state. They took me in an hour before close and stayed an hour after. My nails look great and exactly what I asked for. Mika did my nails and was very sweet and a great conversationalist. The owners are very kind as well. Anytime I come to Austin I’m coming here❤️

I live right around the corner from this place. I probably should’ve asked for white polish, but I picked the latest that they had, and it was like a foggy type of white. I’m not sure who did my pedicure, but I got a very basic gel polish pedicure and she cut four of my toe cuticles and it hurt very much. :(

Tianna is absolutely amazing! She listens to what you want and provides a lot of knowledge! She works fast and efficient. I’ve been coming here for the past two years I’ve been in Austin. I have seen pretty much every person there and haven’t had one bad experience. Their pricing is SO reasonable too!

Took my girl here and they gave her pretty nails and a pedicure . TIANNA THE main lady did it for her and she is so polite and so kind she don't rush and she leaves the job done best ! I recommend for any one to stop by and give it a try they won't disappoint you. 5! Stars!

I went to this place many years ago and forgot why I didn't go back (it was that long ago). The other day I went back on a whim and now I remember why I didn't go back way back then: I got a bad case of athlete's foot! AGAIN!! :( That is why I will NEVER go back - 0 for 2!!

Lucy is super! Got a great fill & gel. I like my nails short for work & she managed to make them look great & they are short. (Was thankful this coming went well after a not so good experience before.) Will be back, thanks to Lucy!

I get a fill every 3-4 weeks. For work, I bartend and have never had a nail break and have barely any lifting. I think that says a lot in their quality. I appreciate their customer service as well.
