Ordered on Thursday night and although I have eaten there before and am satisfied mostly with the food, I was utterly disgusted when I walked in to collect my order; the owner/manager/whomever was in the kitchen screaming his head off at the staff, the front of house staff were all standing there wide eyed and scared. I find that treatment of staff horrifying and will NEVER set foot in there again. I'd rather make the trip to another sushi place. There is never a good reason to talk to staff like that. Do better.

Great Sushi combo take aways. A bit overwhelming menu, but just ask one of the friendly staff for assistance.

We placed an order and it took a bit long to receive but What was WORSE is opening the meal and discovering that there was 1 Prawn in the Fried Rice (Mix). I then did a courtesy call and the Cooks had a Good laugh & 1 Guy said 'Udakiwe' meaning I'm drunk!! Sadly, I don't even drink alcohol. I decided to End the Call because I was made a Mockery of. If u want EXCELLENT SERVICE Go to Tommy's Kloof and Westville

Absolutely disappointed with the quality of the food, was not fresh at all, the prawns on the Avalanche was not existing the batter was virtually empty The rice was dry and not fresh The cucumber rolls where massive rolls of rice with a tiny piece of prawn, I mean tiny. Will not be back for a long time. For the price it is a rip off for the quality

Fresh Sushi, rolled while you wait, the only grumble I have is the containers that the soup take out are dished into leak and half the liquid lands in the packet and they do not offer a eat in menu, only take away. So if you want soup, maybe take your own bowls.

We were told 15 to 20 minutes for the food. 40 minutes later we were told 2 minutes. Almost 10 minutes later the food was ready. Chop suey was drowning in sauce - not enjoyable

Sushi with stale, dry crab and three pieces of plastic included in the Shushi!! Most better ratings seem to be from some time ago. Sad to see decline. Interior wall painting very scrappy.

Worst meal ever. Sweet/sour so-called pork was 6 over-sized dough balls with a fingernail-sized grey piece of pork in each. Sweet/sour beef was pitiful as well and where in China, may I ask, is the sweet/sour sauce bright, rosy pink? Noodles were okay but the whole lot landed in the bin anyway.

This place isn't exactly where you get a warm welcome. Maybe that's a good thing, considering the cuisine. But even though you know the service is poor, you hold out that maybe the food will be great. Again, no.

Sweet and Sour pork, It happened the last time and I thought I would give it another chance. Alas, the dough is about 1cm thick and soggy and a tiny piece of pork inside. Not impressed. Fried noodles were fine. But its all in all more dough than anything else.

Sweet and Sour Pork is absolutely terrible - Just a bunch of dough balls with a tiny piece of pork inside. Vegetables look old and feel soggy and the sauce tastes like watered down Sweet Chilli sauce. Best part of the meal was the noodles. Tommy's Hillcrest

The rice was stoggy but the biggest issue was the Tempura Prawns were not cleaned at all. It's very off putting biting into the Prawn and seeing poo pipe still in it.

I don't often award 5 stars, but for a take-away this is the best sushi in the hillcrest area. Reasonably priced, generous portions, and food is quickly made to order. Buy one get one free, on take away every day of the week.

I will often find myself craving sushi and this is one of the few shops i will visit. Really fresh and tasty. Also they are well staffed so things move really quickly !! I cannot fault them. Keep up the good service

Ordered through MR D , paid 45 rand for extra mayo for three sides is sushi. Obviously the Mayo didn’t arrive I called the shop to tell them and they have the attitude to say “come and get it then” You joking?

Very good sushi. And it's buy 1 get 1 free every day. Have never had bad food from here. Very clean and very quick service. There is also a very nice outside seating area with tables and chairs. Highly recommend.

Sushi was great really enjoyed that however did not enjoy the fish and chips from next door, the portions were very small and the tartar sauce was not a tartar sauce. Thumbs up for the sushi and Chinese food.

Went for chicken chow mein . Ended up with a massive portion of two minute noodles , with twenty tiny slithers of carrot , and two tiny pieces of chicken - and a drop of gravy . Never again !

We were very disappointed! Rice was gloopy and doused in an unpalatable supposed sweet and sour sauce. Pork and chicken were soggy and had horrid sinewy pieces. A complete waste of money!

Why are you using regular mayonnaise (tastes like Nola or something) in your sushi, completely ruins it. Also, ordered prawn sandwiches and got salmon, third time this has happened.

OMG. Sushi by the bucket load at affordable prices. Unheard of! Go there and if sushi is not your thing next door is Tommys burger joint. Even better. Always fast and good.

Sushi is always great and my experience with the restaurant is almost always perfect, I refuse to order sushi from anywhere else now.

Very pleasant staff at Inanda Junction Hillcrest and good tasty sushi. My Chinese meal Chinese Fried Rice was huge and delicious too.

The sweet and sour pork with noodles was of great value and taste I'd definitely recommend it too anyone wanting Chinese.

Nice fresh ingredients used for all their meals, definitely one of the best Chinese food places in the area.

Food is generally pretty good, but waiting an hour for an order is ridiculous. Not the first time either.
