"Need I say more? These people do not represent the people of Toronto"
"Our Toronto City Hall is in the shape of a UFO! That alone puts it on the map for a destination location"
"We need a return to HONESTY and a focus on the actual issues in Toronto"
"Only 3 stars at the moment, this landmark is within the 5 eyes countries, it was built with a specific purpose in mind and even included a saucer as part of the design as though to tease us with the truth"
"Just tried to pay a parking ticket online and discovered they want me to pay a $5 “convenience fee” on top of the $30 parking fee! Instead I will send in a cheque by mail which will only result in city staff having to manually process the payment which will probably cost the city more than the $5 convenience fee"
Need I say more? These people do not represent the people of Toronto. The vast majority of them voted against reallocating 1% of the Toronto Police's 1 Billon dollar budget to homeless shelters, in a time where their looking for "adequate solutions". A time where housing is unaffordable to the vast majority of people. Homelessness is not just a matter of the poor and impoverished, it's a matter of average everyday people also being under threat of homelessness too. These monsters couldn't care less. As of this writing, we'll have to see of the shelter situation gets better by winter 2024, but we'll see. The bottom line is that you have their head of security tearing down protester's signs with utter indifference to our basic expression of freedom. You have Frances Nunziata dismissing protesters as "people angry about police". When the systemic problem is clearly rooted with people like John tory being on the police's budget member's board. These people are inhumane monsters. I should know, I was there in council chambers when Tory resigned. One council member said I had no class for speaking plainly on the issue homelessness. As if, they were willing to have a fair and balanced discussion amongst the swaths of their donors and media reporters. Not 15 minutes after my disruption as the last and final protester. John Tory went to his office and resigned. Good Riddance.
Our Toronto City Hall is in the shape of a UFO! That alone puts it on the map for a destination location. Nathan Philip Square boasts the public skating rink in the winter as well as a huge Christmas Tree, which has been a holiday tradition for as long as I can remember. In the summer the NPS hosts numerous events and on Queen Street you’ll find a vast array of food trucks. I have attended my best friends wedding at City Hall and when you leave the space ship, well, there are those moments where you feel transported at times. The Toronto sign along with the Indigenous Wheel and Maple Leaf, those are photo ops waiting to happen. If you’re visiting Toronto I highly recommend City Hall and Nathan Philip Square for some classic but distinguishable tourist shots and if you live here, same rules apply!
We need a return to HONESTY and a focus on the actual issues in Toronto. No more special interests and hidden agendas. I’m hoping the new Mayor is good to the homeless and needy. Clearing them out of parks was disgraceful as was failure to open warming centres. I’m not a man-basher at all, but please don’t have a male Mayor who’s a misogynist this time. I would love Mark Saunders, Anthony Furey or Olivia Chow. They all have some really impressive ideas. Say no to meanness in this election. All Toronto citizens deserve to be heard and represented. Everyone deserves kindness.
Only 3 stars at the moment, this landmark is within the 5 eyes countries, it was built with a specific purpose in mind and even included a saucer as part of the design as though to tease us with the truth....that truth is that this building was constructed over a huge non human craft, so big in fact that it was not movable, so they hid it under this building... So they say, I'm sure the truth will come out....eventually. then I'll give it 5 stars
Just tried to pay a parking ticket online and discovered they want me to pay a $5 “convenience fee” on top of the $30 parking fee! Instead I will send in a cheque by mail which will only result in city staff having to manually process the payment which will probably cost the city more than the $5 convenience fee. makes no sense. They should embed the processing cost into the price of the ticket. Wake up Mayor!
Must Visit if you’re in Toronto! You get the actual city vibe and what Toronto stands for with it’s multiculturalism at it’s centre. With an ice skating rink, you get to indulge in a winter activities right at the centre. Great open space to just spend time alone or meet friends and family Ofcourse when you’re here you won’t miss the TORONTO sign! Enjoy Toronto at it’s finest.
Spent so much time around City Hall when i first arrived in Canada. It helps you get an idea of your location. If you get lost, many will be familiar with the area and will give you directions to get back to City Hall. Otherwise, look for the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) employees (wearing a red vest usually) they are very familiar with the city and can guide you anywhere.
This is a beautiful public space in Toronto. In the summer check out the green roof on the third floor, also accessible from the ramp in Nathan Phillips Square. There’s a running track up there as well as flowers and benches to sit and read. The building has public washrooms in the basement. Head to the right in the direction of the library to see signs for the washrooms.
Iconic building which use as symbol of Toronto municipal, known as city hall building. There is a huge open area outdoor, which is usually people come there for gathering and some official events such as new year, fireworks and etc. I suggest to visit there and take some selfish by this unit administration building while you are visiting Toronto sightseeing
Meeting in Toronto's City Hall with the Ontario Minister of Education, the Hon. Stephen Lecce and the National Ethnic Press council to review and discuss Ontario's education policies and the teachers rotating strikes. It was a surprise to find out that after 10 years the teachers are making $92,000 per year. This proves that a good education pays well.
City Hall Beautiful design in a civics space always looks futuristic all these years later Toronto Public Library branch and a nice cafe on site with the large Nathan Phillips Square out front which often hosts cultural activities All staff were extremely helpful and friendly I love my city Toronto
High security to get in. Services are fairly straightforward to access. Note that the city clerk's office (e.g. to view property assessment rolls on their computer system) is off in a separate secure area to the side, not in the main secure area. Sights that could be seen include the Mayor's Office and Council Chambers.
Let me share with you a set of photos of Toronto in the summer. After reading these photos, you should be able to understand why people like Toronto, right? [doge] Summer in Toronto is full of energy and laughter. In Toronto, a very tolerant city, you can always find a place where you can feel comfortable.
Went here for Doors Open with a group of youth. They had a great time going to observation deck, that we didn’t know even existed. They also enjoyed the interactive XO TO and Nuit Blanche stations, finding their riding and the costume exhibit. Their highlight was meeting Mayor Tory.
Visited there during the night time. It was great because of the light they had. The city center has an amazing views of great building architecture of city hall surrounded by landmark structures. It’s a great place to go for a walk and experience Toronto downtown.
Beautiful design in a civic space that still looks futuristic all these years later Toronto Public Library branch and a nice cafe on site with the large Nathan Phillips Square out front which often hosts cultural activities All staff extremely helpful and friendly
Love the new updates they've made to the exterior especially the huge Toronto added last year. Inside is nice and clean. Here's a sneak peak of the member's lounge I had the privilege of being at during a community event
It was a doors open day and so visited city hall. Wait time was around 20 minutes. It's wonderful and very strictly managed, clean and well organized. Got to see the Mayor's office here. The view from top was superb.
I love that place! Great for a walk and ice skating during the winter. They have a lot of seasonal festivals happening there. I hope that after the pandemic I can watch music concerts and have some fun there again!
Visited this place so many times and it feels new each time I visit. This place is home for many events during summer and has a nice big rink for ice skating in winter. One of the must visit places in Toronto.
Great experience at legal summit recently. A grand entrance that's a bit confusing to navigate but easy once you get it memorized. Handicap entrance permitted and bike racks are here (to the entrance right).
Very Muslim a Quran in every room wish more of them hated canada tho. You can eat a raw rabbit in the lobby and leave the carcus in the bathroom none will stop you
Beautiful building. I was satisfied only to take picture:) In front of building, sometimes there are interesting events. You can enjoy ice skating in winter!!
The Wednesday Farmer's Market is on in 2020! Don't miss all the best and freshest Ontario produce. It is a lot smaller but has all the bases covered.
Iconic building design of Toronto’s City Hall featured in the movie Resident Evil: Apocalypse. Attached vid during 2022 Holiday Season :-D
Toronto is a very nice city with lot of Tamil people and official Tamil sign boards in the road. Extreme snow during winters...
Nice Central Landmark location within the City. Greatly to come visit one day as it’s a nice area to hang out at on a nice day.
I have visited Toronto City Hall many times it's a great place to relax, engage in photography & enjoy the beautiful vibes.
Brutal place to visit. Narrow roads, very slow traffic. 1 mile in 10 minutes if you're lucky. Lots of homeless around.
Nice view. Always have new decorations outside. Drop by and take a picture. There is a library and a cafeteria inside.
Cavalcade of lights was back and awesome on Nov.26 2022. Worth a trip to see the 2 towers all lit up as well!
City Vibes and beautiful architectural buildings. good place to visit on Christmas, ice skating and more.
Beatiful building next to the Toronto 3D sign. Underground Municipal Parking available close by.
Got the opportunity to view Toronto City hall from inside as part of *Doors Open Toronto" event.
Great place to relax in the middle of the downtown. This picture was taken on 9/19/2023.
Great views, quiet in early morning, lots of people during daylight. Lots of homeless.
Nice place. Clean, organized and quite famous city land mark!
