I would give zero stars if there was an option for it. I have never in my life felt singled out and then kicked out of a store for my disability. I definitely understand a mask policy for the population, however there are people with disabilities that CAN NOT WEAR A MASK. Also there are disability laws in place that keep establishments from discriminating against such people. I am not asking for special treatment. I keep 6 feet away from anyone except for my sister who took me there. When we walked in we were greeted and then told that I needed a mask to be in the store. I told the woman that I have a disability and can not wear one. We started shopping and then another woman came up to me (not 6 foot apart) and told me that I have to have a mask on. I stated again that I can not wear one and then she told me again that if I don't put on a mask then I had to leave. I again told her that I have a disability but she was not hearing me. She then told me I had to leave. I just shook my head and walked outside. I literally went to my car and cried. I have never been kicked out of anywhere much less stopped from shopping. I am a paying customer. I came to spend money and was kicked out. It is against the law to discriminate. I have called corporate office however I have yet to hear from them. Please DO NOT SHOP HERE!! I have posed to my disability group as well as my friends and family. Shop somewhere where you will not be singled out for being different. The management here could use some training!

Went in today 9.1.23 with my wife and autistic son. We weren't greeted and my wife had to overhear sale information as they were told to other customers that entered. Wife shopped and while she was shopping our 8 year old needed to use the restroom the black manager was passing by so my wife told our son to ask her where the restroom was. She told him he needed to go across the parking lot to belks ( again my son is autistic so he's going to listen to her because she's an adult, and someone he sees as being in authority ) so he heads towards the door and of course my wife hears the conversation. She asks the manager " is it that ya'll don't have restrooms or are they not for customers?" To which she responded they are not for customers. My wife put her items down and we walked out. My wife has been shopping at this specific location since they opened their doors. So the poor customer service given BY THE BLACK MANAGER was definitely a shock factor and insulting all at once. We will not visit another torrid and plan to reach out to corporate about this because whatever "policy" that may or may not exist needs to change. If I am a paying customer I should have access to the restroom to make my shopping experience more pleasurable. It's bad enough that it feels unsafe in the store with the busted out glass.

I’ve visited this location today and had a terrible experience. I walked over to the dressing room to try on my clothes because I had some haute cash I wanted to use before expire. I Walked over to the dressing room and the young lady was over fixing the clothes on the shelf located in the back of the dressing room. She didn’t knowledge me or greet me. She actually walked past me as if I wasn’t standing there to help some customers behind me . I ended up finding a open dressing room I proceeded to walk in the dressing room started changing my clothes someone knocked on the door. I said someone’s in here two seconds later she open the door while I was changing. She said sorry and closed the door. So I continued trying on my clothes then she opened the door again to ask how many close do I have to try on because this was someone else’s dressing room. I said oh I’m sorry I didn’t know it was open. She then looked around the dressing room to see how many clothes I have left to try on. She then said didn’t you notice the clothes already in the dressing room. At this point I was livid I was already still in the Torrid clothes that I was trying on. I proceeded to close the door and put back on my clothes and asked for the manager. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THIS LOCATION. The sad part is it’s the closest to my house.

Torrid has changed my life. I know that sounds dramatic for a clothing store but it's true. Being a bigger girl has always meant I'm stuck wearing baggy unattractive clothing that look like they were made from tacky shower curtains. You hardly ever find trendy cute clothing. Torrid gives us big girls a way to look just as gorgeous outside as we are inside. My confidence is through the roof now that I can wear beautiful clothing that fits me. Yes they are a bit overpriced but it's worth the happy feeling I get when I slip on a pair of their skinny jeans or throw on a cute lacy top and know I look good. The Alliance store has an incredible staff. They are always friendly and more then happy to help you find the perfect outfits.

Ordered shoes online. Received email confirmation that they were shipped to the store. Was waiting for pick up instructions. Called store asking about them, the associate told me she could see them in transit. Finally called Customer Service and she told me the associate had signed off on receiving them 2-3 weeks prior to my call (since I was tired of waiting on them). Never received a call or confirmation to pick them or I would have. Was charged for shoes that were sold to someone else. Then lied about them. The shoes are now sold out so I can’t even reorder them to be shipped to my house this time. Good job, Alliance Center.

I love Torrid usually, but this store needs help. Terrible service, I was ignored the entire time I was in there (apparently the conversation between coworkers huddled at the register is more important than helping customers.) The store was in severe disarray - clothes on the floor, mannequins wearing items that weren't stocked at all, etc. When I finally got some help, all I kept being told was 'I can order that for you, we don't have that here.' Yeah, I can order it online, too. Frankly, when a website offers better customer service than an actual store, something is really, really wrong.

Went here today with my husband and son. Extremely unpleasant experience. I need to understand how management can justify not allowing paying customers to use the restroom and instead send them to belks. Absolutely absurd. I was a loyal customer since they opened their doors but I won’t return and I’ll be reaching out to corporate about this incident as I feel it was a form of discrimination based on my child’s disability. Absolutely DISGUSTING!

Not my favorite location but I love the brand. Employee interaction can be hot or cold, never know walking in which you will get. Update: Most times I have been here the Service is really poor. After the last poor experience, I was promised a call from a district manager but that never happened. After that, I will no longer be going to this location...

The ladies at this store are INCREDIBLE!!! I have been on a serious weight journey thos year filled with surgeries, cancer & weight loss. They know me by name & sizes im getting into & are always so helpful & supportive! It is not just an errand to go there its a delightful experience with new girlfriends! Definitely my #1 store!!

I didn’t catch a name when I wenr it, but lady there , said hello as soon as I opened the door and walked in, she walked over to me to help me with the returns I was bringing in, she was just so nice and very helpful. I was able to do the return in store and went to purchase hopefully the correct size online. Thank you!

One of my favorite places to shop for casual wear . Trendy plus size clothes geared mainly toward the younger set, but with enough mainstream appeal that a mom like me can find plenty of cute and fun things. Look toward the back for their sale racks, which are always full and deeply discounted.

Torrid is extra Remely extremely expensive was awful quality! The closing is cheaply made and because I’m plus size they think they can try to sell me crappy clothing for hundreds of dollars besides that the staff here is absolutely amazing and definitely needs a raise

Friendly and helpful staff. Found some amazing deals and even tho they told us what the sale was when we walked it, I was still shocked at my total. Is was half what I was expect! So much fun getting much needed clothes and saving a ton of money at the same time.

First of all I love the clothes at Torrid, they are a bit pricey in my opinion but they have unique items and sales! However the jeans are worth every penny! And the ladies at the Alliance location are SO NICE and ALWAYS HELPFUL!! I'm a regular customer!

Love Torrid but lately selection has been so poor..we have just lost interest in going there to be disappointed. Used to be great with decent inventory of sizes but about 9 months to a year ago, things started going downhill and it's only gotten worse

I am in my fifties and not always finding clothes that I would wear but I like their leggings Are amazing and the ladies there are very sweet really went out of their way to help me find what I needed took their time with me and did not rush me

I didn't know this was a plus size store. I just saw that I actually found my size lol. I really thought they had cute stuff, just overpriced. But I did get a awesome shirt there in the clearance section for 60 percent off. I hope to go again.

I quite like Torrid clothing, but this location is not my favorite. It’s a smaller store that feels cramped, and is often understaffed. (No hate to the employees on the floor, I know it’s not their fault.) The Hulen Mall store is much nicer.

I went today and bought some really cute pieces. The associate Natalie was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I usually don't enjoy shopping because of anxiety, but her kind and caring personality really put me at ease. 10/10

I wasn't greeted when entering the store nor acknowledged. Most of the employees seemed to be in bad moods. I wouldn't feel comfortable shopping in the store so I'll stick to ordering online and picking up in store.

I like their clothes. A little pricey. I went to the clearance part in the back for 60 percent off. I got a really cute shirt for $12.00. Very cool. I will probably go back to see some new styles.

The associate greeted me and was nice. They advertise they have size 12 womens shoes, but they don't have anything to look at, she said all the shoes were in the back. Wasted my time.

They treat you like you have the privilege of spending your money there. Customer service was pitiful. I've spent thousands there over they years, but they won't see another dime.

The clothes are cheap quality, thin, impractical, poor fabric content. Almost everything in the store was one color. Service was definitely lacking as well. I won't be back.

Great place to find some on trend fashions. They fit a woman's body great & understand how to make patterns & solud designs for a "true" fit for a curvy woman.

Love torrid but the clearance is all mixed up made its hard to get the buy 1 get one free. All the panties are all mixed up and hard to find good ones.

Their clothes just aren’t as classy as they used to be. They usually have good tees to choose from but the good ones are usually picked over.
