John was the salesman booking our tour and made the effort to change our booking timings in lieu of some commitments on the day of departure. A 24hour cancellation is mandatory. The tour is €59 but was so so worth your while. Meeting point is well documented in their brochures at the back of the Amsterdam central station. The guides were very punctual and friendly. English predominant with Spanish speaking guides and a multi language dialogue onboard the double decker coach. The coach was very clean and provIded free WiFi. The highlight and the first stop were the windmills located 30 min drive from the central station. We were brought to a specific mill where a demonstration was given as to how they harnessed the power of the windmills to produce wood block and beams from raw trees almost 400 years ago. 2nd stop was a charming coastal town of Volendam. We did the cheese factory tour, the stroopwaffle making demonstration and stopped for lunch. To top of an already interesting trip, the tour included a cruise across the channel to our last stop, Marken where the coach would be waiting for us. This last stop is the visit to the shoe making factory where they demonstrated how the traditional Dutch shoe is made. The machine broke down and the trip was cut short. Personally this was the most boring part for me as I had no interest whatever in the clogs. The entire trip was 6 hours and it was so well worth the time. I was pretty sick of walking through the lanes of Amsterdam where the shops repeated themselves like a broken record. Bravo.

Very helpful & attentive stuff.The location is perfect for tourists - like me - taking a walk from the central train station along Damrak street.
