Kayla was great at answering all my questions about EV chargers and helped me select the best model, including going over the pros and cons of a smart charger (which I decided against) and installation method (I went with hardwiring). Their quote was well within my expectations so I booked an installation. They were booking a couple of weeks out, which meant they were busy (I took that as a good sign) but the installers arrived exactly as promised. Rocky, the lead electrician, walked me through everything, answered all my questions, and listened to all my feedback. Also, I was very gratified to learn that his associate was an Electrical Engineer recently from the Ukraine, and it was an honour to have him working in my home, and that Traditional Electric supports the community. My home was left neat and tidy and the installation looks very professional. I’m very happy that I chose Traditional Electric and would recommend them to everyone.

Overall: Excellent service at a competitive price Tanner has assisted me twice now with EV charger installation. The second time he also relocated a garburator switch and installed a new electrical outlet. From start to finish he was professional, kind , courteous and upfront. The estimate was competitive and there were no surprises when it came time to pay. If there were any changes that needed to be made to the original plan he advised me along the way and always provided different options. I would highly recommend traditional electric and will continue to use their services for my future electrical needs. Update - I needed a bit of additional work done on the switch to accommodate changes to my original plan and Tanner was kind enough to fit me in on a urgent basis and didn’t even charge me for the modification despite my insistence. I am very impressed and grateful . AAA service from start to finish !

I had a wall connector installed early September but am writing this review just now because my car has just arrived. And as expected the charger works well. The installation was professional - the wiring was very neatly done, and flawless. I am glad I decided to call Traditional Electric. I am also happy with the cost of installation. The only regret is I did not ask for the electricians' names. The electricians were highly professional, very courteous, and very caring. Not only the electricians' service that I am highly satisfied with, the customer service, Kayla, was very helpful both before and after the installation completion. I have already recommended Traditional Electric to a neighbor, and will definitely recommend Traditional Electric to whoever needs a wall charger installed in their home. Are you looking to get an EV charger installed? Look no further. I was in the same boat and was discouraged by the information and quotes I've received from other sources. Maybe I was unlucky, maybe EVs make some electricians think "Yay, free money". To my relief, I've found Traditional Electric and spoke to Taner. He is very knowledgeable, and his quote was fair. Taner completed the installation of the EV outlet at my house and was very professional. His work was careful and neat. I contacted Traditional Electric to install a 220V outlet to charge an EV. The quoting process was straightforward and Kayla was helpful, friendly and willing to answer all my questions. Their quote was competitive and there were no unexpected fees. They booked my job about a week after I called in and showed up in time (on a statutory holiday). The installers were professional and respectful. The job was smooth and the finished product was as good as it could be. Taner is a great electrician! He is super reliable and professional. I live in a townhouse with a detached garage so to be able to install a 240V line in there was quite challenging. I've gone through multiple places to ask for a quote and they all turned me down stating it's "too difficult" to do. Taner didn't do that! He knew it would be more challenging than other home but we worked together to find a solution that is both economical and fits my driving/charging needs. He did a beautiful job and I couldn't be happier!

I've used Traditional Electric twice now to first assist with installing a Tesla home charger and then moving said charger when we moved homes. Taner and co. are professional and courteous and take the time and effort to do a quality job. If I do need to do any additional electrical work done, particularly if I ever install solar panels, Traditional Electric will definitely be the first company I reach out to.

Their service is good, they will do good job overall, have used their services twice and was happy with the service. For first service I had a fixed quote and was reasonable so no issues, but for the second one I had an approximate quote which ended up being around 25-30% more after the work was which kinda mess up the budget overall. So just one advice, proceed with final fixed quote.

Do yourself a favor and stop shopping around. Just go to Traditional Electric. To sum it up... It has been amazing experience from start to finish. They installed an EV outlet for half of what other companies quoted without lacking experior knowledge, quality, craftsmanship and friendliness. Would for sure recommend without hesitation, very reliable. A++++ service.

Best Service EVER! They installed an EV-Charger in our garage. It was a messy job but you would not even know that some work was done. They left all work areas sparkly and clean. I had the NEMA receptacle installed by Rocky in my garage, the work is professionally done and he also cleaned up the site so very happy with it. There was a supply issue for my breaker but Taner was able to source it and get it within few days, very happy with the job, thank you guys.

Rocky, the electrician who installed the Generac electric backup system is a pro. After the City of Calgary final inspections (gas and electrical), everything was flawless. I recommend Taner and his company to do any electrical installation and specifically the Generac one.

I contacted them through the EVCExperts website, which was great. Kayla helped me through a 20 minute quote. The sub panel, blackbox and EV charger were installed in an afternoon and it is working great. Their fee for work outside of Calgary was very reasonable.
