On July 4/2020 we took the wife’s Jeep in for a tire rotation, which is pretty standard procedure. When we returned to pick up the Jeep the manager Marty informed us that a rear seal was leaking. At this point he said it could be fixed that day so we agreed for the work to be done. I did not ask to see the said leaking but instead trusted him that this was the case. Keep in mind I had been dealing with this Tire craft for awhile and had never been mislead by Landon the employee who took care of us in the past. When we returned to pick up the Jeep, it was driven for a block and the abs light came on, the traction control light came on and the 4x4 indicator light also came on (which was never on before we took it in to indicate a problem). It was immediately put on the hoist for Marty to look at, he had told us that the mechanic had broke the speed sensor and that it would be fixed at their cost. It is now Monday and after I called and spoke to Norm the owner he told me that the speed sensor part was not available but could weld the old one in place so that it would work the mechanic only broke the plastic clip that holds it in place. Then he said I will call you back. Norm then called back and said it was the tone sensor that was damaged. At this point the mechanic said the part was only available out of the US and It would be 5 to 7 days to get the part. The mechanic said that we could take the vehicle and that it would be okay to drive and we could bring it back to be fixed when they received the part but Marty the Manager had said it was unsafe to drive and could cause further damage as the vehicle would be trying to go into limp mode. Then after another phone call the mechanic found the part in Red Deer through Derrick Dodge and that it would arrive to them on Wednesday morning, I said great news. At this point I was informed that I would be charged for the part and 1.6 hours for the labor. After talking to Norm about this he only offered to charge for an hour labor but that’s it. They claim that the mechanic did not break the hub when the tire rotation and seal work was done. Remember that everything on this Jeep worked fine before it went in for the tire rotation. I believe that the mechanic broke the tone sensor when putting everything back together after fixing the seal. This lead to another $465 dollar bill that they said just broke but worked fine before it went into the Tire Craft on Whyte Ave shop. Trust is a big part of the business unless you are a mechanic and can look at things right away. I would not trust Tire Craft on Whyte Ave for what the claim to say is wrong with your vehicle. They give conflicting stories between the manager and mechanic in reference to safety of a vehicle. So tire rotation was free. Seal replacement was $265.00 The hub replacement that I believe they broke cost $465 I will never go back or recommend them.

I hesitated to write a poor review but I am just floored right now. In the fall of 2020, I brought my vehicle in for a simple oil change and a check engine light diagnostic. After a few hours in the shop, I received a telephone call stating I needed new brakes and new tires. I have a regular mechanic so told the gentleman I would be booking with them. He was insistent that at the very least I needed a wheel alignment (that it would be dangerous to drive my vehicle without) and coolant service. So I agreed to that. When I picked up my vehicle, my glove box was open and the cover to my cabin air filter compartment was sitting on my seat. I went back in and asked them what that was about. They told me they had replaced the filter but apparently forgot to put the cap back on. I did not ask for this to be done. I put the cap back on myself and left. This whole trip cost me over $500.00. When I took my vehicle to my regular mechanic 2 weeks later for new tires and brakes, they told me there was absolutely no way an alignment had been done. I trust them and have been going to them for years. They gave me an alignment free of charge because they felt badly for me having already paid for one I did not receive. This is the only reason I did not contact this shop and demand a refund. Fast forward to today. I went to change my cabin air filter, as I annually do, AND THERE WAS NO FILTER. Not only did they not change my filter, they took my old one out and did not replace it. So I have been driving around for a year with unfiltered air. I am beyond livid. If my experience is any indication of their trustworthiness, STEER CLEAR of this shop.

I sent my daughter to this this location because I believed in their service and their name. I was totally wrong. They took advantage of a young girl that is attending University in the area. She went in and asked to have her winter tires put on her car and left totally upset and crying. They charged her $317.09 to put four winter tires on her car that were already on rims. Then offered her a $60 discount if she paid cash. It is disgusting when men in a superior position take advantage of innocent people. I called the manger and he told me that is what they do and charge for this service. I was appalled at his attitude and lack of understanding , it was like he didn't even care about how they handled their business. Good luck to anyone else who goes to this dishonest tire shop.

On Saturday July 4th I took my Jeep in for a free tire rotation as this is where I purchased the tires . When I went back to pick it up I was told the rear seal was leaking and they could fix it right away so I agreed. The cost was $265.00 to fix the seal. When I went back to pick up my Jeep i got one block from the shop when my dash started lighting up with warnings for my Abs, traction control and my 4 wheel drive.Went back to the shop and was told the guy must of broken the speed sensor they would fix it at there cost. Monday comes and now it’s the tone sensor so the whole hub assembly had to be replaced $465.00 . My Jeep was working great with no sign of a leak but was told better to get it fixed before it blows never will I go to this shop for anything again.

My sister came to Tirecraft Edmonton on Whyte Ave for a simple tire change. When she came to pick up her car, she had been changed a ridiculous $317 for this simple service. She is a 20 year old university student who was completely and utterly exploited by this business. The manager treated her with the utmost disrespect and she left the business in tears. What automotive centre charges nearly $80.00 per tire to change over summers tires to winter tires?!?! Both sets were on rims for crying' out loud!!! The Tirecraft in my hometown charged me $48.00 for the entire service. This is completely unacceptable. DO NOT go here, you will be ripped off! She certainly was not the first person to be taken advantage of by these people.

I was very impressed with the service and attitude of the staff! Although they were busy when I was there, they managed to fit me in to repair my tire ( and sooner than I thought)and for a very reasonable price. They put the spare back under my vehicle, and shined up all my tires after putting the fixed one back on for me. Landon was very courteous, polite and respectful. He was dealing with and elderly gentleman ahead of me, who spoke limited English. He was kind and very patient with him, when it must have been quite frustrating trying to communicate with the man. So nice to see great customer service! Give Landon a raise.

Be careful with warranty work, they will charge you for any work that should be covered under warranty. I've had a vehicle come back to get an inspection under warranty, then they sent me a bill saying it wasn't covered under warranty when no work was done. I had another vehicle have the hinges replaced on the door which should've been covered under a life time warranty as I was sold it that way, they then sent me a bill for over $700 and its still broken in the end. Used to work with Landon all the time and he was amazing but since they've had new ownership and the customer service has gone south.

I came into this shop because after I had the coolant replaced at Jiffy Lube and Jason from there on Whyte Ave location contacted ViJay about the computer saying my catalytic converter might need to be replaced so I made appt and they took out my sensor to see if it was that and not the other to save me money from total replacement of converter. I was quoted 267.00 it came under and even so I missed taking someone to food bank the issue was resolved with lowest price option I would bring my vehicle back for any other issue if I had any other issues. Thank you for excellent customer service.

I love this place. Never once have I felt they took advantage of me because I am a women. Quite the opposite. I’ve bought a couple sets of tires and had some work done. All well priced. I’ve gone in several times just to see if my tires were too low. And every single time , they check and balance. For nothing. I feel like it’s a big brother scenario ( I know zip about cars ). Landon is no longer at this location but I believe he still is in the company. He’s a really super guy. My car is a SX4 SUZUKI and they’ve done work at half the price of the dealership.

My experience here was so reminiscent of tagging along to the garage with my dad. People were just popping in to ask questions, make a coffee & share time before starting their days. As I waited I was kept in the loop not only with my car but with some of the conversations around me. So much knowledge being exchanged. Opinions are personal. Mine is: it was interesting to witness that welcomeness in these trying times. I look forward to returning in the fall for a checkup, tires & learning more about my car. Cheers Vijay, Norman & crew! We have been coming to this Tire Craft for nearly 5 years. We have grown a awesome relationship with the owner after having a lot of work done on our vehicles over the years. Landyn & Norm are top notch with a great group of guys in the shop. I refuse to go anywhere else for work. I know if we end up going anywhere else it would cost too much. They are very well priced and always willing to work with their customers. I can't say thank you enough to this group of guys. Keep up the great work!

I had a great experience with this auto shop. They looked over my car free of charge and before doing any work made sure to give me a detailed list of parts, labor and price that would come with it. They worked with me to best suit my needs and cost range & and I am more than happy with the work they did. I called back after the appointment to confirm some details an Vijay was happy to help me out and explain any questions. Would highly recommend this location for your auto needs.

I've now done business with Trail Tire on Whyte a couple of times and have been very happy with the results. The tires I purchased from them were priced very competitively and the installation done well. I've also had a brake job done and again the price was right and service was exceptional. Work was scheduled quickly and done on time. They are turning me into a repeat customer. Hard to find a shop like this these days that is fair and does good work with a smile.

Do not trust an AMVIC from Trail. Get an inspection by a trusted mechanic. Missed by front inside brakes and a ripped CV boot. They told me I did it. The vehicle was bought from Prestige and inspected at Trail and has been sitting in my garage for 6 months. I actually bought it in to Trail after going to my mechanic to see if I could get it resolved and I was prepared to pay for some of it. It was the same price to bring it to my mechanic who i trust. I planned to have my rear shocks replaced. They checked everything first and they called my attention to see that I already have disjointed coil. They installed it for 2 hours and gave me a year of warranty for lbour and parts. Owner Vj and his staff are very accommodating, friendly, and practical. I do not have any bad experience with this shop. Not a bit. I will have my winter tire change and alignment to this shop this week. Btw, I just had my oil change too!

Pretty annoyed with the service done for the Whyte ave location. I called and asked if they were available for a tire change over. They told me yes but it will be an hour wait. It was almost two hours before they pulled my car into there shop, Three and a half total wait time. I know I should have just took it to a different shop. I should have definitely read the reviews before stopping by. Please just think twice and go to a decent tire place.

got my winter tires put on here in last fall and when I got my car back the winter back seat and back of the front seats were covered in mud and brown slush from the old tires they just threw back there. the tire bags were filled with the melted slush when I took them out making an even bigger mess. the plastic part behind the fron seats are still stained from the slush even after trying to clean them multiple times

Great team here! Norm is always friendly helpful and keeps in constant communication with whatever they are fixing on my car. I have been in a couple times with major service needs, and they will call or text with updates as they go. They are never pushy, and always present the options and give me time to review them before committing to major fixes. Always great quality work and wonderful customer service.

Went to tire craft a month ago for a wheel alignment, it was difficult to feel you were getting reliable work because of the customer service. I had the case where I needed a new wheel bearing, and requested for an alignment because I thought that is what I needed. I didn't need an alignment but in this case the work was done without my acknowledgement. Cool looking building but that's about it.

Walked in at 9am trying to find rare tires for a 63 ford galaxie, had tried 2 other place with no luck and no response at the other, trail tire found the tires I needed locally had them at their store by 12:30 right when the said and had the tires on my car and me leaving with in one hour and 15min from when I arrived with the car. Whole process took less then a few hours same day

I brought my vehicle in for an oil change. I was informed that my radiator hose was cracked and my spark plugs needed to be replaced. I wanted to get another quote so I brought my car to my boyfriend’s mechanic. He found nothing wrong aside from my front tires. My wheels were misaligned and the tread on the medial side of the tires were bald.

I've been to Trail Tire Auto Centers several times for tire purchases and changes, and I've always had a great experience. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. They even honored their warranty by replacing a damaged tire with a new one. I highly recommend Trail Tire Auto Centers for their exceptional service and customer care.

Trail tire got me out of a trouble. I was in Edmonton for the Fringe and had a sidewall blow out. They fit me in, put on a used tire to match my existing tires tread and got me on my way. All while I enjoyed myself in Edmonton. They knew I was in a jam and charged me a very fair price on the tire and mounting. Thanks again guys.

Professional and friendly service. My 2012 Mazda CX-9 has enjoyed meticulous attention and Trail continues to keep us on the road. I don’t wish to spend money on my car’s maintenance any more than anyone else does but I’m always happy to get value for what I do spend. Vijay and his staff will insure you get that!

OMG! It's like I am driving a completely different truck now! I needed a shop to prepare my truck to haul a big cargo trailer and Landon at Tirecraft fit the bill to a tee! Landon the service advisor made some excellent suggestions and now I am ready to go a day earlier than I expected.

They installed a new set of winter tires and rims for my son's first car. The installation was done fast with reasonable prices. Vijay, the guy the service representative was very helpful and with great customer focus. I would recommend this tire shop to anyone.

Just got my Tires done and and it went smooth and easy. I'm a Costco member and the tire people at the West end wasn't nearly as nice when I asked them questions. They gave me a fair price too and I took it. Glad to give this locally owned shop my business.
