Absolute farce!! Waited on 7th June for 45 minutes to then be told medication not available. A pharmacist took my number and said when the medication was in stock they would contact me. I waited nearly a week still no contact so decided to contact them. I explained the previous situation and enquired about the medication and was told yes the medication has been dispensed. When asked whether this meant that the medication was ready to be collected I was told yes come and collect it your journey will not be a wasted one this time. I turned up later that evening ,explained that I was collecting said prescription was practically ignored for 45mins!. I enquired 3 times (different people) each one took my name and date of birth saying we're just sorting it out. The pharmacist then called me over to say that the medication wasn't there due to supply issues!. I am usually quite a very patient person and can appreciate what pressure and strain that the NHS are under however, to be lied to is simply unacceptable.
I went in to this pharmacy to pick up a medication for my son. I have waited in the queue, when I manage to get to desk I have been told someone else will help me so I should wait in the side. They kept me waiting for 30 mins, I have kept trying to get help so at the end they took my sons name and date of birth and then told me to wait. I have waited another 30 mins, I have kept asking and trying to find someone to speak at the end one lady came up to me and said they have only found my prescription and I will have to wait another 1 hour to get the the medication. So they kept me more than a hour on the side the just to told me I will have to wait another 1 hour to get the medication. I have nothing against the staff but what ever they are doing it isn’t working. If I didn’t keep asking no one was going to serve me, if I didn’t keep pushing no one was going to check his prescription even tho they have taken his details. Who ever is managing this place, please take a note!
Honestly the worst pharmacy ever... The staff dont really show they care, they seem to be working at a glacial pace, multiple phone calls ignored. Next time I'd rather drive further to another pharmacy then use this one. My URGENT prescription which was handed in the morning was not even looked at. Came late evening to collect and the prescription was not ready & was told they could not find it. However after the team actually checked, they found it, surprise surprise. Then waited an hour for the 1 item prescription which they had in stock... I would imagine that the pharmacy looks at urgent items so they can prioritise there workload, but this pharmacy is completely unorganised and tries to defer customers as opposed to managing its staff and workload.
The Trustmed pharmacy at the LRI is totally incompetent and not fit for purpose.I have spent just over 8 hours there today seeing a Consultant and having chemo, then to go to the pharmacy to find they haven’t ordered my Cancer drugs. This is my new drug I have been on it for four weeks, having said that they rarely had my old drug in. Having cancer is traumatising enough being there all day is not a bundle of laughs, this is just the last straw. Something needs to be done urgently, it’s not paracetamols we’re dealing with, life is difficult enough. Its not like we can go elsewhere, most people would! I gave two stars as an act of goodwill which right now I’m not feeling.
It's a shame you can only gets meds prescribed by the hospital from here. Gave them a prescription and was told it will be an hour and a half wait, then got told they needed to confirm the prescription with a doctor, so would take longer and would call me when they are ready. 24 hours and still no call so I tried ringing the number on Google and the one the owner/manager has told all the poor review leavers to call and discuss the issue only for no one to pick up the phone, the phone just frustratingly rings and rings until it is automatically disconnected or it just shows as line busy
Terrible service, clearly understaffed and badly organised . They are not part of the NHS but have the pharmacy franchise. If this is what private sector involvement in the NHS looks like then god help us. Twice in the last week I have waited over an hour for a simple prescription. They have a monopoly, there is little incentive to prioritise customers. Limited indoor seating so it is not much fun waiting outside in the rain . Why can’t they simply text customers waiting so they can escape back in the hospital and eat or get a coffee.
Disgraceful. Should be closed. Made a complaint to a stand in pharmacist and was assured when the full time pharmacist returned I would be emailed with a formal apology for costing me one and a half days pay lost waiting for this pathetic excuse of a pharmacy to deliver my medication. Spreadsheet glitch was the excuse! Very expensive glitch as far as I was concerned. Disgraceful. Unfortunately there’s no facility to give zero stars!!!!!
I was charged twice for an item which was not available at the pharmacy but a substitute was given to me which comprised of two items that constituted the one single original prescription item. I had a hard time explaining that this is not fair but then had to give up because the pharmacist wasn't being helpful. Either I am missing something or they are doing this to everyone, in which case this needs to be looked into.
The reviews don’t lie, this place is the pits. After a long stressful day at the hospital, I put my prescription in here. Told it was 30 mins wait. 1 hour later I get called to collect to find they can’t supply 1 item. No apology. In fact had to have a row in order to get a refund. Not what I needed. Staff were heard complaining to everyone in general how they’d had enough and were going to walk out. Terrible.
After an accident at work I was prescribed some antibiotics which I was unable to pay for at the time. No problem they said, just call us and we'll take the payment over the phone. I've been trying to call them since June 1st. All options lead to a short message before being cut off except option 7, which has you ringing them for 4 minutes before being cut off. Why have a phone if you won't answer it!
1 star is too much for this pharmacy. I have waited for more than an hour to get my medicines. Even people who came after me got their prescriptions. When I told them about it they said I am the next one but after that I waited more than 20 minutes. Service was so slow. It is just couple of pills nothing more you are not making the pills at the back are you?
Appalling service. We had to take my child in for an ear injury and were told to wait an hour for the prescription. Only to come home and see that the drops given are eye drops. Rang the pharmacy telephone number on the prescription label. Selected 7 only to be cut off immediately. What’s the point of offering options if you just cut patients off.
My grandson had an appointment at the hospital at 8 am he was given a prescription and had to wait for Lloyds to open at at 9 am but the Pharmacist did not arrive for work until 9-17 ,he was told to wait outside in the rain he was wet through after a night shift so was not well pleased. He got his medication at 9-33 .He is not impressed.
A big thank you to Jay at the pharmacy, spoke with him in the morning about my prescription mix up, he called me in the afternoon to let me know it had now arrived at the pharmacy and would be ready to collect on a day I could get it - thank you for following it up Jay you went the extra mile :)
Waited 80 minutes to pick up a prescription, then was told that parts of the prescription wasn't available and that it would be delivered to me the next day. I have not had the prescription yet, which was for my son, and been trying to call for several days but no one ever answers the phone.
Appalling waiting times. The worst I have ever experienced at a pharmacy. Waited over 50 minutes for basic medication, nothing complex at all. Highly advise you go elsewhere unless you have plenty of time on your hands. Shocking. And note, it was not busy at all. Just poor slow service.
Most ridiculous system, it makes sense for polypharmacy, but to be awaiting 50 min for dihydrocodiene to be dispensed, on the otherhand we managed to get through ED have a XR and diagnosis with advise in 90min. This pharmacy process needs evaluating and stream lining.
Excellent service.Consultant phoned me in the morning.Said he would arrange prescription.Phone call from TrustMed Pharmacy in the afternoon to say ready for collection.Open until 8pm.Collected at 7.30pm.Seen by Amar who explained everything to me and was very helpful.
Incompetent and useless. The number of times we have attended to collect essential medication after receiving a phone call from the pharmacy itself to collect to only be told they can’t find it. Unbelievable how many times this happens and not resolved.
Poor service! Extremely long wait times. Was sent back and forth to the doc as they didn’t have one of the available medicine. Spent an hour with my 91 yr old grandad just to get some ear drop. Wouldn’t bother with this pharmacy again.
traveled 20 miles on Sat for 13:20 appointment which took no more than 10 min, just to find out that pharmmacy is closed!! in a hospital??? helo?? funy thing that this prescription has to be taken in hospital pharmacy
I am on daily medication prescribed by my consultant every three months. Despite it being a very busy dispensary I have never had to wait excessively. Staff are very helpful. Keep up the good work.
TrustMed need bigger premises and more staff , shocking waiting time for medication , to many patients waiting long time so TrustMed if you cannot do it hand it back to the NHS please …
Great service - issue with prescription I handed in so the staff called the consultant & solved the query & still had my prescription ready 4 me 2 collect in less than 2 days …
Very bad service I was the first person to enter but still have to wait 40 minutes staff attitude not good there should be another pharmacy The worst pharmacy ever I seen
Rubbish service waited around 30 minutes and been told medicine not available. Not able to walk They force me to go back doctor and change prescription
Received a text message regarding my meds & telephone No. But when I rang no one answered, I must have called about 12 times, what a service …
Be prepared for a bit of a wait for prescriptions, especially in the morning and afternoon. Staff are usually helpful and offer advice if asked.
Excellent experience from Aasif member of staff very efficient, helpful and friendly couldn't of asked for a better experience/ service
Every time I try and ring the line is always busy how are you to sort things out when you can't even talk to someone there
Worst pharmacy ever! When doctor prescribed you something by knowing the infection, why the hell they have to question it?
Staff are great considering they are constantly dealing with people not wanting to wait they are very nice
1 hour waiting for medicine to collect they’re going to busy every day but its been like this all the time
My goodness the staff are literally asleep. No energy what so ever!! Never known a bunch of people so slow
Fast service as usual, sometimes a little wait but always have my daughter script ready and call ahead
Awful. 1 hour wait to get medicine. Have to pay for parking as well. No system. Queues massive.
Staff don't know what they are doing. Would refuse to use it again. …
Called about ten times, cannot get through! So annoying, just wanted to speak to someone!
Terrible, on ward waiting for discharge medication so far waited 5 hours. Still here...
Yet again not fit for purpose seriously how is this place allowed to continue ??
Amazing staff, great pharmacy and Ajay is the most wonderful person ever
