WOW! We used UPack to move from Albuquerque to Louisiana, and it was the easiest part of the move! Everything we needed to do was clearly outlined, and they met or exceeded our expectations in every category. The website had a printable MOVE PLAN that had suggestions on what to do and space for notes. Our Reference Number and the phone numbers to call were printed on each page of the booklet. It outlined exactly what we needed to do and when--when to call to arrange dropoff and pickup in Albuquerque, and later in Louisiana, expected transit time, etc. We opted to use MOST of a semi trailer with the option to use the whole trailer if we needed it, and an exact cost for each. The Move Plan quoted the cost by linear foot for how much of the trailer we used. For ours, if we used 18' we'd pay $2931, and for the entire trailer we'd pay $3795 IN TOTAL. There were no games, no tricks. As a matter of fact, we were supposed to put the ramp outside the bulkhead, but we couldn't fit it in the truck AT ALL. No problem, they had someone else come pick it up and then deliver it at the other end, and they didn't charge us a penny extra! (That made us SO HAPPY!) Guess what our charge was at the end--$3795! No surprises! If we ever have to move again, we would ABSOLUTELY use them again! (And as a point of reference, another company quoted us the cost, with packing and moving only a portion of the things we ended up moving, over $18,000! This OTHER company encouraged us to leave behind large furniture, TVs that were over 3 years old, etc. because it would be more expensive to move them than to rebuy them!) We did not use their packers (although I wish we had--ours were horrible), but there's no way packers and packing supplies would have cost over $14,000! (The ones we used weren't good, but nothing broke, and they charged less than $4,000.) And another great thing about them, if you don't use the whole trailer, YOU place the bulkhead divider in place, and no one messes with your stuff but YOU! Awesome!

Initially thought about PODS. However, UPACK relocube was twice cheaper than PODS without compromising space and moving quality. Pricing center and pickup terminal professionals were always helpful and really nice. A big difference between PODS and UPACK relocube is that UPACK charges relocubes that you actually loaded. i ordered 3 relocubles (2 relocubes is approximately equivalent to or slightly smaller than 1 large POD) and used 2 cubes out of 3. UPACK gave two pricing - one for 3 relocubes and the other for 2 relocubes at first. I kept the three at my place and used up only two. They charged me for 2 relocubes. Unlike UPACK, you have to pay for unused space for PODS even if you use only half of a large POD. I gave 4 stars here because the delivery driver at my destination was not nice.

U packers worked fine for my sister's move. She had our brother pack. Everything arrived in good condition. I utilized 'Moving Staffers' the company U packers connected me with. They incorrectly packed one granite and one marble table top, both destroyed in the move. The granite top was irreplaceable. I also had 2 leather chairs with gouges in them, not fixable. Who knows what was broken in the many boxes that I have not yet emptied. I had to hire a 12 foot cargo trailer for the remainder of my belongings, I packed it and drove it 800 miles. Everything arrived in good condition. I do not recommend U packers, unless you pack yourself or have real professionals handle the job. I'm giving U packers bad marks since they hired the other clowns for me.

Moving is never fun. Trying to find a moving company is just the start. After being ripped-off by a total scam outfit (anyone reading reviews and even considering a company called Gold Standard Moving and Storage—-RUN, now), UPack arranged to have a trailer delivered to me in less than a week, they provide clear info on cost so no unexpected costs down the line. Delivery from Seattle to Santa Fe was prompt and everything arrived perfectly fine. Dispatch in Seattle even went above and beyond by finding a driver, after business hours, to bring a key for the lock on the trailer after the movers locked it—and then realized there was more that needed to be loaded. Everyone I dealt with was professional and helpful. Absolutely recommend these folks.

We moved from Albuquerque to Houston. Drop off and pick up were great in Albuquerque. I even had to change dates and delivery addresses around last minute. Made it to Houston fine, everything intact. The dispatch in Houston seemed stressed, they weren't as friendly as the previous reps. They didn't communicate that the truck was late. Driver in Houston was a phenomenally great guy, apologizing for being over an hour late. I scheduled the pick up of the empty containers but it was an extra day after I scheduled to pick up when they came for them, again no communication from the Houston people. Experience was over all very good. I will use them again. And encourage my friends too as well.

My daughter's move was amazing. I am that person who makes a bunch of calls to ask questions, so I dealt with over ten people at the main office, the Albuquerque point of origin and the Shreveport point of destination. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We had some minor shifting issues in one of three pods, but since we packed it, that was our fault. The pods were delivered when scheduled at both sites, and picked up as scheduled. We were so happy, my son will be using U-Pack for his move soon, and we will definitely be calling them again for future moves.

We used Upack to move from Ohio to New Mexico. Great customer service and price if you're looking for something cheaper. We used 14' of the 28' truck and paid about $3,000. The truck arrived promptly at our new house in NM and nothing was broken. Just be sure to do a REALLY good job packing if you're doing it yourself. Use tons of ratchet straps and moving blankets. Some of our furniture had minor wear/tear from the friction of being inside a moving truck for hours. We also covered our things entirely with a tarp to prevent any water damage.

Moving stinks, but I believe my U-Pack experience was about as good as I could have had it! The trailer was delivered and picked up in a timely manner at the beginning and end of the trip, the drivers were courteous, and the phone customer service was excellent. I had one minor issue - a bulkhead in the trailer was seized up and not removable initially - however, my local terminal delivered a replacement on the same morning. The service was prompt, so I did not consider this a negative.

I cannot recommend Upack enough! The entire process is SO flawless. I appreciate the upfront, no surprise fees/cost like many other companies do. What you are quoted for is what you pay. Customer service is super helpful and friendly, the ABF freight drivers (I had Ray) was so nice and showed me how to open/lock the pod so I wasn't struggling, and you will be informed as it moves from location to location. Moving out of state is hard enough but these guys really made it so easy.

This is one of the best moving companies, people is very helpful and they tell you the exact price upfront, i was able to pack all my stuffs from a two bedroom apartment in two pods, a little advice, get as many boxes of the same size as possible so you can stock pile them all the way up. Also they delivered the containers much faster than their expected delivery date, and allowed me to keep the pods for several days until I get all my stuffs. Overall the whole service was great

Highly recommend! We used their cube and it was perfect. They dropped off the cube, we packed it, they picked it up, and delivered it sooner than estimated date. We just had a few items from my mom's estate to get from Michigan to New Mexico. We considered renting a large SUV but this was cheaper, faster and easier than driving cross-country! Would definitely use them again. Better prices than the bigger companies we checked with and so convenient.

My wife actually found U-Pack on the net. I didn't particularly enjoy the packing and unpacking part of the process but U-Pack did their part fabulously! We had two trailers full of stuff and no way were we going to do that with a rental truck going 600 miles one way. The drivers on both ends were extremely courteous, the dispatchers accommodated us with minor schedule changes, and the cost was 1/3 to 1/2 what a full service move would have cost.

Really happy with my experience. I moved from California to New Mexico and the process of using U-pack was very simple and functional. Everything went as plan, the cube was dropped of the day they said, picked-up, delivered and collected exactly when they said. Their website helped guide you along the process as well. It had an option to request pick-up and delivery times all with their online interface. I would definitely use this service again.

We've used U-Pack trailers for two cross country moves now. Customer service from my contacts on the phone to the drivers, - and for this move, the staff at the ABF terminal in Albuquerque, has always been great. Moving sucks, of course, but making a move in this way suits our purposes totally. I've bragged on this company and this process of moving since our first move, nothing on the second move has changed my opinion .

I started with pods and ended up switching to Upack and it was the best decision. We had a complicated move with 3 large trucks. We were moving out of a house we sold and moving into a new home out of state. Upack was seamless from beginning to end and it was really helpful for our finances to be able to be charged after the last truck left versus up front like pods. We couldn't have done it without Upack!

Very friendly and professional help. They are quick to assist you in any way. They made it a very enjoyable experience for my family and I to move from Albuquerque, New Mexico to Baltimore, Maryland. We selected the trailer option, instead of the containers, but I'm glad we did. We had a big one bedroom apartment and we packed it all the way to the roof and used 8 feet long.

They are one of the efficient companies I have ever dealt with. Professional, easy to reach and there every step of the way. Loaders, packers and unloaders very careful and thoughtful with all of my belongings. Southwest Movers and Packers of Albuquerque, NM they recommended was perfection in every way. I would give all involved in my move many more than 5 stars if I could.

The pick-up service in Albuquerque was great, however, the unload customer service people in New York were the rudest, most impolite staff I've ever encountered. They keep hanging up if you ask questions rather than answering them. I hope they work on this. Minimal expected damage during transit, on time delivery. Overall I had a very positive experience.

We had U-Pack move us from Albuquerque NM to North Carolina. The truck arrived on time, we were able to work with U-Pack's partners to get help in packing it properly at an affordable cost and then we got unpacked at the next location. Moving is no fun, especially when you move 1900 miles, but thanks to U-Pack it wasn't as bad as it could of been to the pocket book. They were very professional and the value cannot be beat, as long as you are willing to load your own stuff. Hope I never have to move again, but if I do we will use them again. The cubes were picked up, transported, delivered, and picked up again by extremely friendly and helpful drivers, and in a timely manner that was fairly easy to schedule. Price is pretty decent too, slightly more than renting a truck but no paying for fuel, and no driving a truck across the country! Overall a great experience!

Very helpful through each stage of the process. The customer support was outstanding. The transport time from New Mexico to Florida was much shorter than estimated. Flexible delivery time at the final destination on Base made it easy to receive and unload the U-Pack container. I would recommend using U-Pack.

U-Pack was super easy to set up for moving some furniture from our relatives' house to ours. They send a text when they're about to arrive to deliver or pick up the U-Pack, and the staff was very courteous and professional. This was so much easier and less expensive than driving a truck rental.

If it weren't for the other positive reviews, I'd be sure this company is fake. Their website accepts zip codes to move to and from but always produces a referral to a competitor, even if you ask to move from downtown Albuquerque to downtown Albuquerque. Has the website been hacked by PODS?

U-Pack definitely made the moving experience so much easier! Everything went smoothly and as expected. Not only were they very responsive to any inquiry and question, but they were on time to each of the committed dates. Will definitely use them again and highly recommend them!
