Bad business practices. I had several issues with this bank. I opened my checking account with a sign-on bonus of $400 that was offered but despite completing all the requirements I have yet to receive this bonus money and it has been almost a full year. I also filed a claim with their fraud department for an item I bought online that was damaged during shipping. They claim to offer purchase protection for when things like this happens. I waited a few weeks and was eventually told the claim was being denied because I did not send additional information that was requested by us bank. I told them I never received these request letters in the mail and I have alerts through USPS along with digital scans of all my mail provided by USPS of any letter or package sent to my address and there were no records of such a letter from us bank. A few weeks later I finally received the letters in question (yes after they denied the claim over not responding to these letters) and the envelope was marked over a month later then the letters were dated. I have been talking to a few lawyers about opening up a small claim over these issues as they may constitute fraud
Free business checking...But, you must have a savings account attached to the checking which will cost you $5/mo. Antiquated and confusing on line banking. Looks to be designed to help you forget your balance and overdraft. Outsourced operators. Limited loan services if you are not super wealthy. I am going to a local community credit union today. I have had enough of the megabanks. I was asked 6 confirmation questions before being allowed to ask the question I needed answering which was..."Why did you return a check that was presented on a holiday and then return the check to my vendor (embarrassing!!!) with no explanation of why and hit me with a $33.00 NSF fee when I had $$$ to cover the check. No Options!!! You loose!! US BANK CAN DROP IN MY WAKE... I AM GONE FOR GOOD!!
I've worked with Joseph Johnson recently and I can't express how grateful I am for all he's done. First off, all the work he did for me was without gain. I already had accounts and credit established with US Bank so it was all just phenomenal customer service. We made a change to our Flex Perks credit card and, despite rigorous efforts to maintain our 100k points, they got lost in the shuffle. Joseph stepped in and helped expedite the investigation into our loss. Thanks to him, we got them all back in record time. It's people like Joe that make me excited to recommend US Bank and their customer service - and I do, often. Thank you so much, Joseph!
Service was fine but shortly after leaving I received what sounded like an urgent voicemail, saying she saw that I was in that morning and needed to talk. I called back immediately thinking there was something wrong with my account, but I quickly learned it was a ploy to sell me more services - asking if I'm purchasing a home soon, need a new credit card, etc. I was caught off-guard and really annoyed, it made for an awkward conversation. Please try a different sales approach!
I had the random good luck to work with Jeffrey Richardson regarding adding the name of my PR to an account. There were three options the bank offered and Jeffrey explained the details of each clearly and thoroughly. He took ample time to make sure we knew which one met immediate as well as longer term needs. He clearly knew how to navigate the bank's system to find the right solution to this request. I appreciated his cordial and crisp, professional manner.
I like US Bank because they have provided great service at all n branches and products that have met my needs for the last 40 years. No complaints and any I've ever had were taken care of quickly and completely. Give them a try if you are tired of your current bank. They might be what you're looking for. Hope that's helpful. Cheers!
This is the branch to go to for careful, conscientious, and dedicated help from very sharp staff. Jeffrey Richardson was good enough to work with me and did his usual, exceptional job, taking special care. It is great to have such a keen and attentive banker available.
Joe Johnson has extensive knowledge regarding the banking industry and your banking needs. Joe is a dedicated banking professional, offering the best advice, options, and solutions to his customers. I would not hesitate to refer Joe to my friends and clients.
I live in the area and always walk by after work to find the guard outside smoking and on his phone or talking to the same group of people. What is the point of him being there?
There are always a lot of bums sitting outside the bank. There is a bench connected to the building and they all congregate out there. There is a lot of trash in the area too
The vice/assistant branch manager is accessible and effective with problem solving. Two traits you might want around money handling!!
Management training of it's employees have helped me avoid hackers and keep my money Safe!
Too much space, strangely quiet. Then muffled voices behind plastic. Hurroh...
There is a story on us bank that fired an employee cuz she helped a customer
Closing a lot of branches. Head they are closing down gradually.
Very bad service and tons of limits.
Poor service
