Have $5 off coupon from dining advantage and thought I'd try this place out. The attendant was very cheerful but skeptical when I showed her a copy of my coupon which on the app specified to print out. She asked if I can show her the original, I told her yes, it's on the app so I proceeded to pull it out on my phone and showed it to her, she then say, don't worry honey I believe you....... !? She asked if I wanted 1lb, I told her 2 because the cookies looked really good, she confirmed with me that I'd only get $5 max discount. I told her that I'm aware and asked her to give me an assortment of the most popular cookies. She did a great job on laying them out on the box. After weighing the box, she told me that it's $21.84, frankly I was shocked - this meant that it was about $13/lb! After trying them cookies, I've got to say they were mediocre and I didn't find them exceptional to be charged so high. I was glad I double dipped this with groupon cash back

Place is terrific. I really enjoy thier Lavasa coffee, which I think is tops in my book. Thier bakery pasteries are awesome, and their cafe has yummy entres that a good cafe should have. You always get what you ordered, and its the same every time. I like the consistency. Also, the owner was a US Marine vet... I like supporting the ones who supported us. I highly recommend this place. Oh, and with Hanukah coming, they go into overdrive making Hanukah donuts, which are to die for! Best in LA... maybe anywhere. They are so good that there is a line out the door. Give them a try, i think you'll agree with me.

Where to begin. Let's just say, selling yesterdays pastries today. And don't you dare ask how much! Asking how much and getting a straight answer is nearly impossible. Employees act as if you are bothering them by asking how much. Spoke to the owner about it and got "I'm aware of the issue". She didn't seem to care. It's happened to me as well as others in the store every time I've gone in. A word of advice. Put up some sort of signage, change attitudes and or higher new employees. Never had anything fresh from here and they couldn't even make a proper frappuccino. Not going back. Ever.

Be very careful They are thieves They constantly upcharge here and claim they made a mistake I just bought stuff. Then asked how much each thing is and quickly figured they upcharged The owner calmly walked to the register and took out cash and returned it I asked how could u do this - u work here all day how do you make a mistake on the items She shrugged and went to the next guy Disgusting

The pastries were okay..... But the customer service was not friendly...... She kept complaining about the size of box that she had to get...... I would have bought more but I probably would have gotten in trouble for having to have her get a bigger box .also the prices were very high. Probably won't go back

Looking for kosher, this is a good, welcoming place. Our family gets together for brunch regularly with 5-15 people at any time. Also a bakery so there are terrific pastries. Their breakfast potatoes are excellent! It's getting to be Purim and their store us filled with a variety of hamentaschen.

Just went this morning with a party of 8. The food was amazing and the staff was very kind. We ordered shakshuka, pancakes, bagels and egg sandwiches. Do not judge based on the look of the place. The portions were nice sized and came with sides.

I am not sure why its so much vibe about this bakery I don't like any of the pastries I got, nothing , what so ever, and non of my guests, and they are so rude over the counter, they are only nice if you are regular customers, never coming back

Great Food, Many Varieties of Unique Food and Bake Good Options, Kosher, Reasonable Prices, Phone Order is a Little hard and I recommend you go and order food in the morning rather then order over the phone. Otherwise its Great Business.

The service can be alow but the breads and pastries are OUTSTANDING. I especially love their challah rolls and their chocolate 7 Layer Cake --- the best outside of Mrs. Maxwell's, Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn . . . Maybe even better.

Freshly squeezed orange juice was great, tons of pastries and bread selections. Service was good. I gave it a four only because even though they said they are known for vegan options, I only saw 3 pastries labeled as vegan.

They charge arms and legs but too cheap to actually fill decent amounts of custard in the dounots... Also they sell you not fresh bakery goods. And if you ask them they lie to your face..

Once, my coworker brought one box of their pastries, I got hooked ever since, yeah yeah... I am controlling my diet, but it’s just cheerful especially in the holidays …

The pastries are top notch service is excellent it's quite in the middle of the hustle and bustle and above all that kosher! Will return regularly …

Unique Pastry and Unique Cafe are owned by the same person, which is an amazing person, very benevolent and patient, kind and generous. I love the place.

I highly recommend this bakery. They have a great breakfast menu. If your looking for a place thats not too crowded and has amazing desserts this is it!

Lots of doughnut options that were all tasty. I wasn't impressed with the service, but overall, if you know what you want, it's a smooth transaction.
