Despite all the negative complaints about many of the USPS locations around Chicago they have never gave me any issues, and I'm a regular shipper. The clerks have enough to deal with and on top of that you have bitter customers complaining because things are not go their way. I ask you what would you do if you were that clerk that has to deal with a line of several angry customers. Complaining and speaking to the supervisor will not do anything because trust me just like this post office there are many others that have to deal with a large herd of customers? Might as well just add your complaint into the "suck it up buttercup" complaint box because it won't get fixed. If your impatient then get on your phone and surf the internet to kill time or simply just leave and go elsewhere. Complaining does not help anything because trust me in a demanding job like USPS that supervisor will take that clerks word over your bitter word any day. As for this location and many others around Chicago, I have never had any problems with any of them. Many of my packages have always shipped out on time and have made it to my buyers on time. I have had more successful ship outs than unsuccessful ship outs which I'm very thankful for. The real praise goes to USPS for their hard work. If you are pressed for time just leave and come back at a different time when the herd has cleared out. Simple as that! It is you that have control over that, so why transfer your bitter energy to others which in the end gives USPS clerks a hard time when their only doing their best. As for parking I have not had any issues with that because I come long before the herd arrives. One thing that you can be thankful for about this location is that at least they do have parking and it's not metered. Thomas G

This post office lacks customer service. The women behind the glass has an attitude for no reason and lacks the ability to want to help the customers. I have things shipped to my home all the time and each time I do not receive my package on time. I track my package every step of the way but as soon as it arrives at the 60612 post office my package becomes lost. I literally sat in my window waiting on a package before just to see if it will arrive on time, I went to the bathroom for 2 minutes when I come back I check outside and there is a notice on my door stating they attempted to deliver the package. What did you do a silent knock? The bathroom is right next to the front door. I go to the post office to try and pick it up and they look at me like a deer in head lights. How do you not know if the package is out for delivery or is in the facility? It is your job to know these things. I'm so over the mail carriers and customer service personnel at this location. I wonder is there a way I can talk to my alderman about the poor customer service at this location. Something has to change immediately.

The USPS is the worst business ever. If it weren't government owned it would be bankrupt. The leadership should be ashamed of themselves. They have said my work building is "not in the system (THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE SYSTEM) on two separate occasions. Their online system is a joke and when calling the 800 number they recite what it says online including to call the 800 number then says the info is up to date so you can't speak to anyone. I had to call back and trick the system after 6 attempts to even let me talk to anyone. If this was a first it would be one thing but it happens over and over and over...and now I am on hold for 30 minutes to tell them to try and redeliver a package (which I shouldn't have to tell them to do) since they tried to deliver it to a business at 8 p.m. and no one was here..imagine that! And now, after saying they attempted the delivery they say the address is not in their system....so where did you try and deliver it to? GOOGLE THE ADDRESS.

The USPS website said they delivered my mail at 3:19 pm on September 4, 2021 in CHICAGO, IL 60612 (Saturday) with the tracking number for my priority mail. But they did not deliver it at all because my building had front desk staff working all day and they did not see the USPS car or people showed up at all and my mail was not received at all. Please note this is a very important mail which carries my EAD card for my working permit. I am so concerned by this delivery misinformation and was not able to sleep well during the weekend. I think they did not improve the accuracy of their online information. This kind of bad behavior will make so many customers under much pressure since they are very concerned that their key mail will be lost due to this misinformation. I have to wait until Tuesday to figure out what’s happening to my mail. Because tomorrow is the Labor Day and USPS is closed. God bless me! Hope nobody else will suffer from this issue later.

There's not a lot of accountability in this location, although I don't think it's unique from other branches. I ordered a package to arrive from an international sender. Delivery was attempted during the weekend, however we are closed that day and cannot accept packages. The following business day, I set up a request for redelivery for the next day, which did not come. I called the evening of the failed redelivery and was told "We'll make sure the driver knows to deliver tomorrow". I called again the next day to ensure the package was out for delivery as promised, but it was still at this branch location. Luckily I was able to pick it up in person. My frustration is that there clearly isn't a functioning system to ensure redelivery is fully completed. I paid extra from the sender to have this delivered on time and that didn't happen. Two days in a row after redelivery request is made and the shipment is still not even on the truck is unacceptable.

I received a notification that a delivery was attempted and that I requested it be returned to the post office, which I didn’t. When I arrived at the post office, they admitted that was a lie and that no delivery was attempted, the delivery driver apparently never showed up for work and they didn’t find any one to run her route so the packages just sat at the post office and these false notifications went out. On top of that, they told me they would not give me my package and that I would have to wait for it to be delivered the following day, because it was already boxed up and sitting on the truck. Absolutely ridiculous. Update: It took them an additional 3 days before they finally delivered my package. In that time I had driven to the store and purchased a duplicate, then returned my package. Would have appreciated more transparency and customer service from USPS.

The staff at this place isn't really friendly and rather lazy. They are also rude because I have seen them yelling at customers and refusing to let them see the manager. Some don't know how to type since they where taking forever to input information for my package. They would not take my destined to China mail because the address wasn't in English. How am I going to write an English address if there isn't one? I ended up these destined for China mail to the Chinatown post office. The mail-man/woman are also lazy because I have placed outgoing mail and wrong addressed mailed outside next to my mailbox in plain visible area for them to pick up and they never do. I have to go hand it to them. There were a few times when I waited for packages to come and I never see the mail-person nor the notice on my door and I see online that the mail-person has left a notice.

This post office will test your faith. You'd have to lose your religion and come back for it with the level of incompetence these people have. I get other peoples mail in my postal box weekly. Can you Mfs see? All you have to do is look at the mail and put it in the right box. I got the postal box to avoid coming to that window but when I do, the women at the window acts I slept with them last night. They're distraught and not approachable. The supervisor allows her employees to be rude, to intimidate customers and will point to the number on the wall for you to call and make a complaint. Its as if you're taking one for the team, so you take a deep breath and go for it. There is only one person there that I would literally wait for because she is rooted, compassionate, empathetic, and maintains smile. She will literally get up and go look for your mail.

This post office is a scam! I received delivery confirmation on a Saturday stating my item had been delivered. I go check the hallway, nothing there. Monday early morning I called this post office only to be told my package had indeed been delivered! (I was on hold for 43min hung up 3x and called back before someone talked to me) for a week the postal worker argue they delivered my package. After a week I filed a complaint with the postal inspector! I was told I had insurance and would receive $100. On a $750 pair of shoes. 15 days after my package was confirmed delivered I receive it opened! I’m he postal worker said the box had been damaged! Do not have anything deliver thru usps! The postal workers are thieves! This wasn’t the first time this happened! They also stole my credit card and attempted to use it and couldn’t because it wasn’t activated!

I’ve been trying to call all day because I’m going on day 5 of no mail being delivered. They left the phone off the hook - a common practice of theirs. This is the second time this year that I have mail not being delivered to me. Not to mention, the mail carrier is straight up unprofessional, super ghetto and loud, and always on her phone (to be fair everyone there is pretty much ghetto and loud). She has misdelivered important mail, including a Christmas card with a gift card that was supposed to be delivered to my stepson. She is distracted and misdelivers mail all the freakin time. USPS needs to go private so that they can disband the whole program and build it back up with proper staffing and technology. Right now, we’re witnessing a horribly managed, archaic, and failure of a delivery service. The whole program is imploding.

We own a local business in the area. They are so incredibly inconsistent it is unbelievable. Some days, we don't even get our mail. And when I say "some" I mean at least 2 days a week!!.. Just doesn't even show up. Its like they completely take days off or something I am not sure what is going on. Horrible. We have been in business for 25 years and get most of our cash flow through business checks in the mail, so knowing we can't count of getting paid from our customers when we need it, just makes complete sense why UPS and Fedex are putting these guys completely out of business. I can't even believe this location has't been restaffed or management hasn't come in there to clean things up because it needs to change. Not good business to just take days off... If I could give zero star's I probably would.

  • Maggie Ryan

The post office employees keep delivering my packages to the wrong addresses, or not at all. Honestly, I don't know what the f*** is wrong with them! It got to the point where I filed a complaint, and because the local office was too lazy to investigate why their employees were failing to complete the minimum requirements of their job (deliver mail), they shot it up to the post office investigative team (the federal police agency). The investigative team had to re-seek the local office to solve it since it clearly wasn't mail theft -- I was getting my packages, but several weeks after the lazy, incompetent office had marked them delivered -- and the local office sent me an email "resolving" my issue as packages being stolen. They're the WORST. I've started having packages delivered to other places.

I went at 9:08am on a Wednesday, it took <10 min with 3-4 people ahead of me and one worker. My package tracking said “Held at Post Office, At Customer Request” even though I’d never requested that. So I went in, but the worker said it would still be delivered and it’s something they’re working on since it’s clearly confusing. (I doubt they can individually control what that message says, they probably have to work with whoever is designing the USPS digital tracking system.) It’s only held at the post office if you get a paper slip at your address, otherwise they can’t give it to you because it’s still on it’s way to being delivered. I appreciate that the worker made sure to announce this to others in line behind me so they wouldn’t have to wait too. Guess I’ll keep waiting !

  • Kaitlyn Meeks

They lie. Flat out. This is the 3rd issue I’ve had where tracking has been falsified. In the most recent incident, tracking said my package was delivered when it wasn’t. Then it magically changed to “delivery attempted but no secure location.” Not sure how much more secure a single family residence with a fence and large private mailbox could be, but then again let’s be real, they didn’t actually attempt to deliver anything. No package, no slip, nothing. I called and got the run around and asked for my package to be held at the facility for pick up. Then customer service called back to say my package was already out for delivery. This was early morning. 24 hours have passed, still no package. This service is abhorrent and if I could give fewer starts I would.

  • Kyle Adenau

Excellent service, helpful and kind staff, always happy to see them during drop offs. I do not know where all these griefers are coming from. I have had nothing but great service from the wonderful ladies running the counter! If your mail is not being sent or delivered, visit the usps website and make a claim. This is how it works, don't attack the local post office! They are very helpful if you aren't a jerk to them, so lose the attitude and talk business. The customer service reps are not single-handedly delivering your package or mail. So be kind if you want help. Also, write clearly the address and package your mail correctly. Wrap boxes with kraft paper so people don't see what is inside - they cannot protect your neighbors from stealing.

  • Angel Riqueros

If I could give ZERO, that would be too much. People are extremely ghetto, rude, and all around unhelpful at this location. I called and asked to speak to the delivery supervisor and they refused to let me speak. I explained to them that I had already talked to someone else and they said that I need to speak to this particular person and they wouldn't let me. They argued with me, told me I was wrong, they don't do things that way, etc. and the conversation went nowhere. She offered no help or suggestions. She told me to call back and I did, 8 times. She never once answered after we spoke. It sounded like she picked the phone up and then hung up every time I called. This is a business.... who does that? So unprofessional.

  • Nicholas Carlson

How about negative stars? Every day, we get other peoples mail delivered to our house. I talked to the mail person and was told to put a sticker with our names on our box. I did that and we still get other people's mail, every day. The mail person refuses to take this mail back...so I have to take it to this USPS location (I tried to take it to another location and they won't let me). So now, I keep a stock pile of mail that is not mine and when it's large enough, I go here. Every time, I'm told..."so sorry, we'll talk to them, won't happen again." I opened my mail box today, to find all of the mail I just dropped off three days prior BACK IN MY BOX. Now I have to take it there again! UNBELIEVABLE.

  • Miranda Schmidt

Do not trust your mail or packages to be delivered through this post office. I paid priority shipping for an important package that was not delivered due to “no access.” The rest of my apartment building also hadn’t been getting mail for about a week. At the post office, the carrier said she “took the key to our apartment doors on vacation and lost it” and that she “wouldn’t deliver our mail until a tenant bought her a new one.” No one cares about their job or customer service here. When they were delivering mail, the same carrier just threw all letters for all tenants on the ground in a pile, ignoring the mail boxes. This post office is a joke; acting on unprofessional and illegal practices.

  • Shawn Rutledge

One of, if not the worst, USPS centers in the city. Every day is a different carrier. They constantly deliver mail that isn't ours because they don't pay attention to the street name. Every single carrier will go out of their way to use the mail slot instead of walking 2 steps inside, even if the door is half open to let air in our office. Just now today's carrier went to the trouble of filling out an entire "sorry we missed you" slip to say that a certified letter would be at the local center without even bothering to knock or see if anyone was here. Nothing but a waste of space and a perfect example of why everyone hates the US Postal Service and they're just circling the drain.

  • Mrs. L.C

I have not had mail in a week I am currently looking for an order from A package which on ups website says that it is at This post office. I been to the post office they said they don’t have the package if I don’t have a slip they don’t have it they did not even go in the back and look throughly .I called Ups they do not have the package This worries me I had an important letter for an appointment I had been trying to get for mths the letter stated to come in on the 19th the same day I got the letter. I check my mail everyday I explained to the office that I got my mail late if I could reschedule and they told me it was not possible. I need this to change immediately.

  • Ashleigh Hill

This post office is NEVER open on time and everyone who comes here regularly knows it. Once they told us they were late because they lost the front door key. Right now I'm waiting outside and it's 9:07. No one seems like they're in a hurry to serve the line of people outside the door. Just another day at the Western/Madison post office. They're regularly out of stamps and envelopes. You are a POST OFFICE. How are you out of these things? Maybe because there's one employee here at a time. More than once people have just started banging on the door until someone opens it around 9:15. It's now 9:10. Why is this place even open?

  • Kye B

No stars if I could. This is the most horrible post office ever. I only live a couple blocks away and I always have issues. Used the tracker for certified mail and it told me it was redelivered while I was sitting in my living room. But there was no mail carrier in site. When I called they couldn't locate her and she wouldn't answer the phone. Another carrier on the next block told me she was still at the station when he left. How are you updating parcel statuses when you haven't even started your route. I never received the missed parcel notification. This is such a poor place.

  • Sarah Sadiqaphoenix

How did they get a 1.6 rating? They don't deserve it. Max rating for this post office should be 1. They had my mail for days before they finally sent it out for delivery and when they got to the apartment, they didn't leave a note letting me know to go pick it up since they couldn't find a secure location. But they left with the package and lied on the usps site that they left me a note. Rescheduled a redelivery for the next day but it's been three days now and I still didn't get my package even though there's someone in the apartment the whole day this time.

  • Erika Mallett

I never get an answer when I call which is odd because they have like 30,000 workers at this location. I've called them 10 times this morning and they won't pick up the phone to assist me they keep picking up and hanging up. I'm trying to figure out why they would leave my package on my front porch when I live on a main street in a neighborhood where they steal anything that's not nailed down. I'm thinking I should get a job with them since there not required to do anything but be unconcerned, lazy and have bad attitudes. What a waste of Government money.

  • Veronica Campbell

Clean short wait in line..They say put a credit card in and we I'll charge you 1.10$ for change of address. Verification. I am on a fixed income and every penny is counted for. So I don't have a credit card to charge Then when I put my name in they say The address is not registering. I am angry upset. Lost and no help is being given when I call the national office for help. I am in a new area and Handedcap to say the least of all we are going through to get the mail of bills and family Christmas card delivered to our new home.

  • Keysha Cockrell

This Post Office has to be the worst! The hours of operations 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. is NOT convenient for working people! The customer service (in particular, the young lady name Deidra) is horrible! And after submitting an address change form, my mail still goes to my old mailing address. I've asked mail carriers what can I do to stop it and was told to add a note that says A-Z and might I add, my name isn't on the mailbox. I was once a mail carrier and I thought the rule is to not put mail in a box that your name is not on, my goodness!

  • Queen Pharaoh

They are rude nasty attitude and don’t care about the ppl that they serve mail never gets delivered or they deliver it and leave items outside for ppl to steal they clearly do not care my paycheck be two weeks late when Springfield sent it out in time for me to have it on pay day but for some reason the mail delivery is weeks late Orr they will put it in my neighbors box and they will give it to me I hate them ugh I pray my next check is direct deposit that way I don’t have to deal with these incompetent people! They need -zero ⭐️ s

  • Travis Halliwell

I'm so sick of this place. I literally live less than 50 feet away and they've lost my packages ehile out for delivery. The manager is ridiculous and doesnt seem to care about his job. I have story after story about this place but today they never left a notice. Online they claim they did but again they never did. A few weeks ago i WATCHED the lady walk in my building and NOT give me my package when she had it. Completely ludacris. Ive already called corprate and im currently on the phone with them again filing another complaint.

  • Michelle Patterson

I would give 0 stars if I could. My Amazon package was not delivered, and I can't get a hold of ANYONE to figure out why. The tracking notification says they attempted delivery but could not access the door. I work in a building staffed 24 hours a day where the entrance is never blocked. They did not attempt delivery on the next business day, and when I call the branch, no one answers. I've called 3 times and it just rings until it disconnects me. Chicago post offices are the worst, and this one is at the bottom of the list.

  • Jimmy T

This post office has to be the worst!! we are a place of business we receive mail on Daley passes we didn't receive any mail for 4 days I called the post office 4 times till some one pick up I explained to them that I didn't receive mail for 4 days she side I have mail it should be delivered on the same day I called never received any mail that day, I fingered I will get the mail the next day never get any thing not even a junk mail so I called gain no answer. Some one has to do something about it.

  • Sabrina Schaub

This location lost my mail they have been holding for over a month. My mail hold ended 5/5 and I went that day to pick it up, but they were closed. So I went back yesterday (since they are only open during my work hours) to pick it up and there was nothing there. After being told to visit another location which also didn't have my mail, I was told to go back to this location and ask to speak with a supervisor. They were closed by then. WHERE IS MY MAIL AND WHY CAN NO ONE HELP ME?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • Tahmaurrah Bailey

I'm convinced some of these reviews are being paid for or these are fake accounts from employees because when I tell you that I've waited weeks for things that informed delivery says I'll be receiving soon and thats if i get it at all. Can never get them to pick up the phone amd the one time I was able to reach someone I was told that our carrier only did part of her route that day they need to purge that facility and get new people in there because whatever is happening it's not working at all

  • Stan Malinowski

I've had "Nancy B Jefferson" as my Post Office for some 15 years. There have been some slipups in past years generally when a substitute carrier was on the route, But, service has always been responsive to phone calls. Special mention must go to the fine service by Ms: Harman, Ms Robinson, Ms Grayson, and letter carrier, Linda! (Also, thank you to Larissa Daniels who is no longer at this post office but was very helpful in the past.) Thanks to these great and caring people! (SEP 25.2020)

  • Jeff Snyder

We tracked down a lost package to this location and were told that we could go pick it up. Big mistake. Made a trip on a cold day just to be told by the worker there that the package in question was not at the location. Very poor customer service. Unfriendly staff do not even listen to customers. I guess they have heard it all before and don't care? Can anything be done to improve the quality of service at this location? Will anyone who has any ability to affect change ever read this?

  • Jeffrey Detloff

It was heart warming to read all the negative sentiment towards this post office. Everyone's issues echoed my problems pretty exactly. My package showed as delivered a month ago but I have no notices and no package. I have called numerous time and stopped in the office just to be told to fill out a form and leave. No one would let me talk to a manager. I had to file a complaint and a fraud case against them because of the complete lack of help tracking my missing package.

  • Kelley Cohn

By far one of the worst Post Offices in the city. They are so slow it’s absolutely ridiculous. It takes 5-10 minutes for them to help each customer so prepare to stand in line for at least 45 min. I live right down the street from the post office and we will go days even weeks sometimes without getting our mail. And when I ask they say oh he’s been out of town. How is that ok?? Is there only one person who can deliver mail???

  • Candice Mackey

Most unprofessional business place I know. Mail carrier are stupid or play dumb. Since our old mail man retired everything been terrible for us. No one never answers the phone. Carrier keeps my packages because she too lazy to bring them up knowing our doorbells don't work. Sometimes put my mail in other people mailboxes. That's a violation in my book. I'm so tired of this office I'm just have to buy me a p.o box

  • Frank Schulz

The standards expected for USPS are typically not very high, but this post office is far and away the worst. They consistently mark packages is being delivered when they haven't been, sometimes showing up two or three days later. I suspect that if it's not delivered within the time frame intended that it somehow reflects negatively on the mail carrier, so they mark it as delivered to try to keep their jobs.

  • Shikhia Sims

The two women that usually works at the counter are great knowledgeable staff. I’m giving four stars to them only and not this particular location as a whole. These mail carriers throw away people personal documentation. Not all but majority of them. I have a hard job so if I can do it they can remain professional too. The two women at the counter should managed this location know how to run this location

  • Dr. Latasha “Mojisola” Ajayi

The United States Postal Service (Nancy B. Jefferson) location is customer friendly throughout the day. The services in which customers receive are organized and professional. I must say, "clear evidence of time management is visible in all interactions daily with customers!" Not to mention the accuracy and loyalty of the mail carriers for this location. As of today, excellent services for many years.

  • Jessica Garibay

This place is absolutely awful. Not only is the wait long. But you can literally hear people in the back bumping music, yelling and just sounding like they’re partying instead of working. If I could add the recording of how loud it was in the back and that you could actually make out what some people were saying, I would. It’s absolutely shameful. I can see why the post office is becoming obsolete.

  • Shanta Jones

This place is constantly delivering my package to the wrong address, the address is clearly label, but for some reason they are delivering my package down the street. Lucky we still have some honest people in this world, the lady who house the package was delivered to brought the package to me. This postal service don't deserve the 1 star, I had to click on the star just to post this review.

  • ross hawley

Very poor service they hardly delivery your mail on time the lobby in shambles and out of the shipping supplies you need. The lights inside half are flickering almost caused me to have seizures . I have requested pick up of my mail three times between 2-4 pm. I get a email at 630 am saying we tried to pick up but no one was Avb. The manager drives an Acura. They are low life's. Very very sad

  • Nathan Poling

Sure, every post office has their flaws and sometimes the line will be long but this is by far the best Chicago post office I’ve been to. If you go outside the lunch hour and the end of the day, lines are short. They always have a full stock of packaging materials, the employees that work the counter are pleasant and move with purpose. I’ve never had any issues in my 2 dozen visits.

  • shirleytang9

The staff here know people by name and do their best even when they're getting yelled at by frustrated customers. I appreciate their hard work! I rent a PO box and ship packages daily. This location has a small parking lot and street parking is usually available if the lot is full. Avoid coming at peak times and you should be in and out quickly

  • Katherine Bradford

The folks who work here are pretty nice but it appears they don't have enough employees. Mail service has improved, but they rarely pick up the phone and if they do it's after it rings 20 + times. Oh, and they have been out of stamps for at least the past week and have no idea when they will get any in. A post office without stamps, really?!?!

  • Kimberly Holley

I thought this was a super nice gesture! Many USPSs automatically have this bad rep' for bad customer service and issues with delivery, so this was nice to see. With this location, I have never had any issues with customer service and I'm usually in and out and there is parking! I definitely would recommend it for simple needs for shipping.

  • Janice Merritt

As per management, I find that the mail is very inconsistent. This a small family business and we do not receive our mail on a daily basis. We depend on checks to pay our bills. When our mail is not received on time, we are considered late, in paying our bills. Something needs to be done or we will take it to the postmaster general.

  • Richard Roberts

Don't even bother trying to get your mail, half of my mail never showed up and when I came here to try to get it no one could tell me where it went. they kept saying "well maybe it was returned to sender" but I happen to know who sent one particular piece of mail and it never was. they almost certainly are just pitching your mail

  • Robin Trasciatti

I've been going to this location for five years, 20+ visits, and have had excellent service each time. Staff is always friendly and efficient. The longest line I've experienced is five people, typically the line is two people. Compared to locations in other neighborhoods, I feel fortunate that this location is closest to me.

  • Latifat A.

I was home all day only to find the "sorry we missed you" delivery receipt. They never rang the bell. It's a shame since it would've only taken a few seconds for me to answer the bell and recieve my parcel. Poor customer service. Based on previous reviews I'm afraid of what I'll find when I actually try to pick up my mail.

If i could leave 0 stars I would. The 60612 postman is lazy and sometimes doesn't show up for 2-3 days. That whole office is a joke and we are lucky to get our mail at all! I put in a forwarding request 2 weeks ago and have not had 1 piece of mail forwarded. This is a government entity and they need to fix their operation!

They love to steal packages here. But God gets the last laugh!!Update Today is Christmas Eve and it states package in my mail box. Nothing in my mailbox. So is the carrier still stealing packages mostly likely. It’s very pathetic to steal people Christmas gifts.Im make sure she gets put in jail.Yeah I’m lawyer up

  • Michael Mroczka

The carrier straight up lies and says "your package was attempted to be delivered" when it wasn't I'm sitting here in my house waiting for the damned package. Whoever has my route should be fired. This has happened for every package we've attempted to get delivered through USPS here. Absolutely ridiculous.

  • Ryan O'Donnell

If they weren't government workers, they would be out of business. The carriers never ring the doorbell. My items have never been delivered. I have called and went to the post office in person and still have been unable to get my most recent package. This office should be investigated and shut down.

I went in around 4:15 PM on Wednesday. After waiting in line for about 15 minutes, I asked for a book of stamps, the woman told me they don’t sell them (lie). I told her I bought them there before (that’s true), she said they ran out. Ridiculous that the USPS refused to sell me stamps.

If I could give less than one star I would. EVERY TIME I go to this location I spend 10-20 minutes here (I’ve been the third person in line for the last 10 mins). The workers have no sense of urgency, are unapologetic, and are often just plain rude. Don’t come if you’re in a rush...

Would be helpful if there was a posting somewhere showing lunch hours. Inconvenient for me to go and unknowingly no one is at the booth except for security giving me a 1 hrs estimate of when they’ll be back. Also having a lunch break 1 hour before the building closes is unusual…

I went in to pick up my package that says it there at my local post office and they didn’t want to help me at all they told me they couldn’t look up my package they didn’t care if I have a tracking number they didn’t want to help at all there unless there should all be fired

  • Aaron Clayton

My time at this post office was terrible due to the unprofessionalism of the mail clerk. I came to pick up mail the that was 10 days late and she act as if i don't suppose to be there, all she gave me was attitude and crazy looks. I was shocked. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible

  • A Hall

Went there this morning 2.3.2023 and the gate to the post office was closed. Waited 10 minutes and the gate and the door is still locked and closed. Went to the post office on Madison and even worse, one person handling the counter and people almost out the door.

Lines can get long inside, but I like their staff. Reason for 2 stars is that I've had multiple packages marked as delivered and in my mailbox which were not there at all. Had to have Amazon block them from being able to deliver my packages due to this.

  • Spencer Wade

My wife always told me to try this location and I am glad I did. This place rocks, super fast staff easy parking anytime other than 5. Clean fast and courteous. Very seldom do I give 4 stars to the post office but my experience was a great one.

  • Lynsey Behning

Staff is lazy and rude. If you’re lucky enough to get ahold of anyone, they are never any help. Carrier didn’t even attempt to see if anyone was home to leave the package and who ever answered my call didn’t bother to try and solve the issue

  • Jake Nicholson

Worst post office ever. Have lost several packages and on top of that, they NEVER answer my phone calls. Or better yet, the most recent time I tried to call they answered and hung up immediately THREE TIMES IN A ROW. Unbelievably terrible.

  • kaliyah ollison

I waited three days to receive my package. I went to the office in person twice. I tracked my package online and they said that they had already stopped by , but they didn't leave a slip. Long story short, I wouldn't recommend this place.

  • Tina A Starcevic

…checks, my license plate renewal sticker, my new debit card, and other important parcels never delivered. There needs to be an investigation done on this post office. Update- Also. Christmas cards and credit card statements to the list.

  • Corinne Thornton

They simply don't deliver mail and packages. They often claim that we weren't home or requested that they were unable to reach our door, which isn't true. It's disappointing that this is my local mail carrier.

  • M. Martinez

Be careful of this post office. Employees are known to steal packages and nothing is done about it. I would literally go to any other post office. Post Master of this place should be ashamed. DONT DO IT!

  • Manika Maheshwari

Worst service. They lost my important package. They lost the same type of package of my flatmate. No one is ready to take any action. Whenever I call them, they are giving excuses. Never trust USPS.

  • zelda raygun

This is my local post office and the service provided is helpful and kind. I mail a lot of packages and the postal workers are always patient even though I'm sure I'm annoying.

  • Marlo Martin-Jackson

Always a pleasant experience when I go here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Yes, the lines are sometimes long, but that is the norm for a lot of USPS locations.

  • Ainhoa Indurain

USPS always have a bad rep for customer service. However Everytime I've come to this office they have been very nice and polite with me, and the wait was never bad.

  • Jay Rubinic

We have not seen a carrier and have not received our mail for a week now. In fact for the month of March 2023, carrier has been by maybe 5x. They need help there!

  • SashaAlwaysHappy

Tried to reschedule delivery, everything was confirmed. They never deliver my package. To talk to anybody expect to spend an hour or more on hold....

  • Queen Esha

My package was delayed. Called they sent my package back out when I called. Wait time was long but they helped me very quickly to get my things

  • Michael Frost

I dropped off a prepaid package. They didn't Scan it. Now the package is lost. Usps will not take a claim or missing mail search online.

  • Януш Багинский

Horrible post office, employees are just not in there. Been waiting for an hour for somebody to show up at the front desk but nobody did

  • Angelica Ayala

I've been waiting for a check in the mail for over a week and still haven't gotten it and the post office doesn't even answer they phone

  • Vanja Susic

Outgoing packages take days to be scanned in, even when picked up. Unreliable and slow. Pick a different location if you can
