I ordered something online and never received it although the tracking says it was delivered last Friday (May 22). I know it was sent to the wrong house because of the time the Tracking said that it was delivered. I also know that it wasn't my regular Mailman because he never delivers to my address that early and also he usually knocks on my door to let me know that I have a package. Later that day around 2, my husband put something out in the mailbox and it didn't get picked up until after 3 that same day. The day before (Thursday, May 21), I received mail that wasn't mine and I saw the carrier was an AA woman when she turned her mail truck around to deliver mail on the next street. This Tuesday, I was so relieved to see my regular Mailman delivering mail as I left for work because at least if I have something coming, I know that I'm going to get it. Now as far as the substitute Mail person goes, they should read the outgoing mail more carefully because I'm pretty sure there are important pieces of mail that people are waiting for (IE: Stimulus Checks, Child Support Checks, Unemployment Checks, and other important documents) and you don't need to be rushing and half doing your job because you simply want to "Get It Over With" so you can go home! I will also call and report this as well! Update: Thursday, I noticed that my flag on the mailbox was down indicating that the Outgoing packages were picked up so I went to the mailbox to check the mail and Lo and behold, the package that I thought was lost got delivered (Thank You and Blessings to the person that returned it) but, my other package that I was expecting was still "Out For Delivery". Later at 7:13 p.m., I received a phone call from an employee at the Post Office about the first package that wasn't delivered to me last week (I told him it finally came), he then asked for the tracking number to the other package that I was expecting. When I told him, he said that it got delivered at 5:47 p.m.. Sure enough, I went out to the mailbox while still on the phone with him and it was there. Once again, it was another Substitute but this one had came back because this person was having difficulty delivering the mail (Another Carrier had to help this person out). I was told that our regular Mailman was off which was very obvious. After the friendly conversation, I did tell him that I was grateful that it was resolved and even told him that I would erase this Google Review but, not so fast and Would you like to know why? Well, today (Friday, May 29) I was informed that the Substitute Mailman/Carrier not only gave our neighbors across the street ALL of our mail (Which we received), but failed to go to our home as my Husband stood outside with family in the yard expecting him to pick up the Outgoing mail and Yes, the flag was up! Unbelievable!!!!! And Yes, I will be reporting/calling this in once again!

I really wish I could give this place a zero. It would really make me so happy to get their rating so low that maybe someone will come in and retrain these people. Let's first begin with the front staff. They are actually very sweet, but they are slow as molasses. I mean really they have no sense of urgency. Then lets discuss their delivery people. Our main guy is wonderful! He is always on time, very sweet, even brings my dogs treats. But he went on vacation for 4 WEEKS! His replacements were horrendous. Between getting mailed delivered at the wrong address ( I became well acquainted with my neighbors up and down the street as we were bringing each others mail. And not like just one piece, like stacks. My neighbor brought me our regular envelope mail as well as 2 packages earlier this week), packages scanned delivered and not ( and when you try to speak before they leave they completely ignore you), and delivery guys sitting in front of your house texting, they all need to be retrained in accuracy, efficiency, and customer service. They may think it's a job where they can stay to themselves but they are the face of USPS. Now my favorite! I was just hung up on by a supervisor. They lost my package ( Sent out Nov.10th and it's Nov. 20th, never moved). I called and I always begin polite. She rubbed me the wrong way cause she kept interrupting me while I was speaking. But I could hear she was busy so when she asked me to call back I said ok. I called back at the time she gave me and I was trying to explain I had a claim and haven't gotten a response yet. She said ok what's your tracking. I simply said let me get it for you and click I hear the automated hold message. She didn't ask to put me on hold she didn't say anything she just threw me to the hold message. I literally waited 5 minutes and she comes back, did you find the number. I was like yes but you interrupted me (I began to get sassy cause she was racking my mind), she stated she got another phone call that she had to take. Um ok well here is my tracking. Gave it to her and she said no one was there to investigate it further so she can't get to it till Monday. I began to get infuriated because I spoke with someone Tuesday who called me and said they would look into it and now you're saying nope. So I requested a supervisor above her and she told me I couldn't speak to anyone. So I said she is a crappy supervisor....she respond with a dial tone and hung up on me. Really! My blood is boiling! So if USPS regional managers read these please I beg you, please retrain these people. They really lack the service and give a bad experience. I will no longer go to do my drops at the post office. I rather drive 10 minutes away to Hillsborough Ave than walk around the corner to this place.

I was cheerfully greeted by Ron, who went above and beyond to assist me with mailing an odd size pkg. He was able to get it into a large envelope. I forgot to bring the zip code, he was kind enough to look it up. He did everything with the nicest personality and a smile. He is thoughtful, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. An asset that isn't very common anymore. The post office was clean and bright fully stocked. I would like to say that the mail delivery service is not at all like the actual people who work in this post Office building. I agree with many of the other reviewers who are telling the story of their problems with the actual mail carrier. I know that my carrier is not so good either, so if I was rating the actual carrier, I too would not be able to give more than 2 stars. But I gave the 5 star rating to the actual people who work in the building at the Nebraska Ave. Location.

I have complained to this station manager and was met with indifference. No private company would tolerate or behave this way. Such a shame this "service" has our country's name on it. My local carrier is based out of this office and is the worst I have ever had. She will not leave her vehicle. I waited all day for a delivery requiring a signature and she never knocked, just threw the notice in the box and drove off stating that no one was home to sign. This is for an item sent from Daytona on 6/5 and arriving 6/12, a full week to travel 2 hours. Previously another item, a signed lithograph, arrived in a long box which she smashed into my mailbox and left sticking out six inches exposed to a thunderstorm. Apparently the ten feet to my door is considered excessive to the post office, and no, I don't have a dog that she could use as an excuse. Pathetic. Spend your money on ANY other service.

Our mail suddenly stopped arriving about 2 weeks ago without any notice. When we went to the post office to check why, the manager told us we had stuff in front of our mailbox so the mailman could not access it. There is debris next to the mailbox (not in front of) from the last 2 hurricanes. I called the city about a month ago. They claimed they would pick it up be the end of November but failed to do so. Either way, we have been receiving mail with the hurricane debris there for about 2 months. Why stop delivering the mail all of a sudden? We asked if the mailman would be reprimanded for not leaving a notice and the manager refused to do so. She claims he should have left a notice but he is within his rights - he does not have to get out of the car to deliver mail. That's ridiculous. He should have gotten out of the car to at least deliver the notice.

  • Big Man

Has to be the worst post office in the entire country. Attitudes, lack of empathy, no follow through, and will tell you right to your face they don't care! There should be an investigation into them by the United States Post Master General! Funny how you can call their phone number 248 times in one day and the number be busy the entire day but promptly at 5:00PM the busy signal is gone but nobody will answer the phone. Incompetence would be an understatement. I believe what they do to customers and their mail at the Sulphur Springs post office borders on criminal and they answer to nobody! SHAME ON THEM! I relish the day the post office finally shutters it's antiquated doors so at least we consumers will have some actual customer service from the companies that take over, UPS, Fed-Ex and probably Amazon!!!!

  • Samira Hernandez

Worst experience ever! I was told a package would be on hold at this facility and I could pick it up. They foward my package before I was able to pick it up. Claimed it was parcel when it was same day delivery. Everytime I kept telling this so called manager someone told me different information on my package he rolled his eyes and looked utterly annoyed with the information I was told by different staff members over the phone. They wouldn't even bother hearing anything I had to say with out rolling their eyes and I'm the end he said to me "ma'am they foward the package, where it is ? I don't know but I have a long line behind you. " in other words just told me to leave and I would get my package in 6-7 days. The so called manager raj is rude and has horrible customer service skills!!

  • Dan Westin

It's always a hassle to go her in person. If you need to reach them by phone good luck. I spent 3 hours trying one day till I went down in person and they said they were busy. I showed almost 3 hours of logged calls to them from my phone and they said it wasn't their problem. I have asked in person 4 times and 1 time in hand written letter to stop giving me mail with anyone else's name but might e and they still put it all there. They closed my box without a renewal notice to me and my mail was returned to sender. I was out of state on business. The only way I found out was my Dr. called about my prescription being returned to him and asked if I was ok. Horrible service from them and this is a government job, thanks!

I’ve had issues with this office for the last 5 years since living in the area. Our mail is never in the correct mailbox and neighbors all receive each others mail, I never receive important documents and they are constantly ‘being lost’ I recently ordered a new Social Security Card and it was mailed December 12th and had yet to arrive and they have no way of tracking it. You’d think they’d be a little better at delivering important documents like a SS card but I guess they do the bare minimum if that’s even what you can call it. Terrible courier service, terrible customer service and a lack of attention to detail when it comes to delivering the mail correctly to our complex.

  • Michael Snyder

For the fourth time I have not received a package they said to have delivered. I called the Nebraska Street post office to complain and they tell me exactly where it was delivered to but never picked it up to bring to me. I have lost over $200 in miss delivered packages. No you can't call the office, you have to call an 800 number that is even worse at getting through than the office it self. The US Postal system is the worst I have ever experienced it. Today I received two packages that were not mine. How long will it take them to figure that out. If my carriers were ever graded I would fail them all, and it seems I have a different one every other day.

  • Ariana Petrocky

They don’t even try to drop off our packages for me, my brothers or my parents. If they do they throw them in the middle of our yard but usually they just don’t even try. I paid to have my packages delivered to my door, not to have them give me a slip of paper saying “sorry we missed you” so i’ll have to go to the post office and pick it up. Oh and also I didn’t even know they missed me until I contacted the company that I bought my product from and they told me that i would have to go pick up my package. The post office didn’t even leave a slip for me to go get my package. If i could give 0 stars I would all the way.

I pre-purchased a $40.00 priority international shipping label online to send a $200.00 portable hard drive, brought it to this location, they helped me box it, tape it, attach the label and gave me a receipt. I checked the tracking a week later and it said it hadn't been received yet, I called them and they just said "I don't know what happened" and accused me of not ever really bringing it there. HOW DO YOU GIVE SOMEONE A RECEIPT AND THE PACKAGE DISAPPEARS?!?! I'm guessing they saw what was in the box and "lost it". These people are liars and thieves and cannot be trusted. Go anywhere BUT here.

  • Jennifer J

I'm only giving them a one because there is no zero. I sent a prioty mail homemade HARDWOOD cutting board wrapped in bubble wrap. When it arrived to where it was going, the whole corner was MISSING. Meaning they have to have dropped my package off the loading dock 5 ft to the ground in order to chip HARDWOOD. Hardwood is solid and doesn't chip or break easy it takes alot of force to mess it up. Now my customer has a product that they paid ALOT of money on all because they (post office) doesnt take pride in there work. I'm PISSED.

  • Brenden Urick

I come to this USPS location almost weekly, as I ship multiple packages for my small business. I want to say, this branch is the most efficient I’ve been to locally. I’ve been to many that have had employees who have been less than helpful. Here, they are always willing to help if you ask. Over time I’ve come to understand shipping packages much better than when I started and have tried to make their jobs easier and in turn it has made our transactions easier. Plus, they scan their packages quickly which I very much appreciate.

<3 I just love coming to this post office! I've had my PO box here for years! Everyone's so super helpful and nice! I've never had a bad experience. I never lose a package and always get all of my mail. Once in a while I get a misplaced letter here and there but Just drop it in the mail box and they put it in the right place! Big deal mistakes happen... Im sure if you had to look at thousands of addresses daily you'd make a mistake too. Either way I don't care they are amazing and always pleasant to speak to. Great job guys!

  • Paul Liberez

As usual today, about 8 people in line, and each no doubt with some kind of weird situation that involves a long explanation and hand waving with the manager about an expired PO box and someone's cousin's house and whatever. This place is slow as molasses. If you want the full 'hood experience, this is your PO. If you just want to get in and out with no drama, check out the post office on Hillsborough Ave just East of Dale Mabry. Much better experience, and you're less likely to get hit up for change on your way out.

  • Kathryn Simmons

This post office is the most inept, and stupid of them all. Whenever I get mail delivered to my post office, which is the nearest US post office to their's(You'd think they'd recognize that), somehow one of the idiots of this post office claims that that post office and my address doesn't exist. It does. Staff is inept. Every other courier in the city: FEDex, UPS, any other USPS but them, including obscure courier companies can deliver to my US PO Box, but not them. Don't trust them with my mail.

  • steven caro

Completely furious. College Diploma that was mailed in reinforced envelope so as to not get damaged, printed with large red bold face type PLEASE DO NOT BEND OR FOLD, was both bent and folded and stuffed into mailbox instead of leaving leaning against the door. You literally have to reach past the door to get to the mailbox. Diploma is ruined as it has creases all through its center. I expect the post office to replace this important document that was so poorly handled and damaged as a result..

  • Elyse Davis-Gladney

This USPS for years would put our packages on our porch. For the last several months they have been literally tossing them (we watch on our security cameras) over the front of our very short white picket fence (which is open and unlatched.) Some of those things have been broken and other soaking wet from it raining later on in the day. Of course when you call to try and have a solution put in place, you hold for an hour and the assosicates sound like they couldn't care less.

  • Cody Klay

The post office on Nebrsska has been my jam for many years. This year I'm not getting up there as much because the economy is garbage and people aren't buying like they have in the past. But I still go a couple times a week. The staff is always nice(at least at this one) and knowledgeable. It's not far from my house so the convenience is top priority. They'll be my #1 post office for a long time(as long as Postnet doest take the spot. They rock)

  • jeannie elliott

I was getting mail that wasn't mine, and walking (half crawling) back to that mailbox is Soo painful! I am disabled. So I left a note saying I am the only person getting mail here, and next time, I will throw it on the ground. So he or she left me a form on greenish paper to fill out telling who gats mail here. It did not work. Still getting other people's stuff. Irritating, so, I will be leaving it as far out in the street as I can.

  • Wunta Youliktaknow

One star if I could. Been getting no mail or mail from a different street off and on for six months. Was told their job isn't to make sure they have the right address but to deliver the mail. Truck 3302920 is on I've had issues with. Raj the manager is rude, he lies, twists words, is conniving, and will speak over you or down to you. Report issues! Call local news! Report this post office. This is absolutely ridiculous.

  • Johnny Simmerman

I am in my drive way cleaning the windows of my car and the delivery person leaves my mail in the box. Including the slip "sorry we missed you".. didn't even attempt to step out of the vehicle, they would have had to walk past me in my own drive way to get to the door. It was close to noon and that's when you close, that's the effort you get from your Wellswood driver on Saturday. Be better, this is unacceptable.

  • Arren Bacon

The mail person ripped the door completely off of my mailbox... AGAIN!! I bought another mailbox since the first time.. I also got a ring doorbell camera that caught it all this time. Does anyone know how to submit a complaint to the post office? Otherwise I have to wait until Saturday morning since they colse before I get off work. There's no email on the usps site for complaints...

  • Maybel Fernandez

About a month ago got a letter from the IRS and i came to pick it up, they couldn't find it. I have been calling since then still didn't get an answer. Came today to check one last time and they just said to me that it was gone because is being more than a month. This is not the first time they lose mail and its frustrating because of my address this is the one i get my mail send to.

  • Jessica Butterer

I know it may seem silly to write a review about a post office, but I am in here bi-weekly shipping for my business. I have to say this is the friendliest most efficient post office I have ever been to. The employees are always laughing, having a good time and making the customers smile. I always leave with a smile. I really don't know what else you could want from your post office.

  • Vilan Franki

In a few words, PESIMO SERVICE, even the drivers decide not to deliver, he saw me waiting for the package and got angry about that, what kind of workers put there, a product for whom I pay for shipping, it turns out that they cannot deliver it while in front of my door , everything is problems with this service, in general just garbage.

  • MLB

This is one of the best post offices in the areas. All of the clerks are very helpful and don't waste time with "small talk". Very efficient and organized. You can't blame the front line employees for the overall inefficiency of the postal service! Handicap parking and accessibility. They're usually open until 5:30 p.m.

  • Lovely Marie

The young lady who helped me, (I forgot to get her name) was very helpful! I told her my situation & she immediately asked for a tracking number to look into it. Luckily the package was there! She also told me about other options so I won’t continue having troubles with my mail. Once again she was helpful & nice!

  • Bill Lorenzen

We go there often. Every employee there has always been helpful. Once we were trying to mail a package to China. The addresses there are very different from our format. There was some processing glitch. Fortunately the place was not busy. The postal clerk spent a half hour trying to solve the problem, and did!

  • rgm rgm

Horrible place, terrible employees. Use fedex or ups, because usps is garbage. Save your headache and spend a little more, lazy employees, all they do is park their trucks and talk with each other all day. Trash absolutely trash employees and trash service all together.

  • Renee DeMasso

Everytime I visit this post office there is the nicest lady that waits on me. I don't know her name, I just know on my receipt she is clerk number 8. What a blessing she is to those of us coming in to mail packages on a weekly basis. Thank you for your hard work.

  • Stephen Shaiken

I had a wonderful experience at this branch. They provided excellent assistance in opening the right size postal box, holding mail and installing a mail box. I dealt with three people on two visits and all were friendly and knowledgeable.

  • Pppp Pppp

Update, way to go fixed. It is sad to see our post office with a broken front door. This means lots of waste of our tax dollars as we ac the outside. The parking lot was not well kept. We are great, the US. lets take pride.

  • Mike Hancho

The actual post office is great ! Drivers not so much have literally watched them pass my business with Mail for me then mark the package not delivered because I was closed! They don’t even begin to try to do there job

  • S Walkr

There was a line when I got there, but that was to be expected with Xmas a couple weeks away. The line went fast and the clerk helped me out. The whole time there wasn't bad at all, and I expected it to take longer.

  • Lisa Wilder

This post office for the most part has terrible service. I went in today and was surprised at the help I got at the counter. My mail was returned to sender undeliverable and they promptly got the issue resolved.

  • Josef Diarra

It was terrible. Talking to a computer is very upsetting. So many questions and still didn't get the help I needed. It used to be so nice to talk to a person and not a machine!

  • Sean Hennessy

Jewel in the crown of Bernie Sander's failures. Antiquated and unsalvageable. RIP to junk mail delivery service.

  • Bernice Jensen

It’s a small post office but always professional and quick to serve.
