Impeccable customer service from the reception staff through to the doctors and nurses. What makes them stand out for me is that they care about you, your health and well-being and believe me that is hard to find. I have been a patient for nearly 15 years and have only been treated with the outmost care. The nursing staff are fabulous and are there for you and are the best I have come across particularly Mary who has gone beyond what is usual for me on many occasions. Dr Taylor is the doctor you read about, wish you had and never seem to find - friendly, caring and above all an excellent doctor who ensures you get the best treatment for your situation. When she has not been available I am not worried as all the doctors at the practice are top notch - friendly, given great advice or treatment and ensured I was well looked after in Dr Taylor’s absence. Finally the lovely reception staff who have always looked after me when times were very tough and are always looking out for all the patients and often don’t get the recognition they deserve. Highly recommend this practice.

I was so pleasantly surprised with my experience. These days I feel like I don't expect much when I go to the GP, yet I'm continually dissapointed. But today was different. The doctor I saw was engaged, interested, looked at me instead of the screen, asked relevant questions, took the time to work out what was going on for me and it really helped. It was a huge relief to speak to someone that had some background in my issue. It felt like the first time I had been heard for a long time and I wasn't super aware of time pressure for the doctor because I was being rushed out the door. At the end of the consult he wrote down the 'plan' on a piece of paper so I could take that away and be clear about what we discussed and my next steps. It was something that seems simple but ensured the communication we shared was clear and also followed through. Thank you for such a positive experience.

I recently stopped attending this clinic because Dr Paul Bolton conveyed medical misinformation to me that titanium didn't represent a risk to my health as a result of my failed titanium hip implant. I made separate inquiries to a medical authority on this issue.who supplied a peer-reviewed medical science paper describing a range of titanium toxicity health risks, some of which I may be experiencing subject to examination and treatment by a clinical toxicologist. I asked Dr Bolton for details of the source of the misinformation he provided but he refused to give it to me. Dr Bolton's clearly saw his priority as medical professional solidarity to protect his incompetent source who has recklessly endangered my health

My partner was seeing Dr Paul Bolton for 1 month after receiving surgery for a spinal condition. Dr Bolton refused to refer her to a specialist/neurologist twice. She was told to choose between "side-effects" and "strong-pain-killers"... All she wanted was a referral/reccomendation to investigate the pain further and look at other potential pain-killers or treatments - which clearly requires a specialist. We don't have any private health cover but we are MORE THAN HAPPY to pay whatever the cost and wait the required time. We just wanted a recommendation/referral. Needless to say - we will be going straight to a specialist ourselves (with no referral) and changing GPs. Thank Paul. :(

The place is clean and the staff is efficient. I was taken in by the doctor exactly at my appointment time. So no waiting. It was my first visit to the health center. So had to pay an administration fee of $11. I don’t know whether this payment needs to be done at every visit. I went in as a student. So I’m not aware of the costs yet as my insurer will be billed directly. Because the place is small and the receptionists are seated close to each other, when one serves another customer, it’s very difficult to hear what the othet receptionist serving you says. The place is compact and today happened to be a busy day too. So it was a bit noisy.

I want to give 0 star. I gave it a bad rating because I had to wait more than 40 minutes twice. In one case, I booked the first session of the afternoon, but after waiting for an hour, I saw the doctor come in and immediately called my name. During this time, I asked the receptionist if the doctor was there and could you confirm it for me. Unfortunately, they only emphasized that the doctor was treating. That's a wasted hour. I understand the doctor is busy, but I'd like to know the truth. So I will never see a doctor here again because it is bureaucratic and dishonest

I resoundingly do not recommend Dr Simon Hay. He flippantly disregarded my concerns, and even went so far as to mock me when I asked him to read my ECG again as he had incorrectly read it the first time. He also mocked the capabilities of nurses, adding that he knows this because his wife is a nurse. I can’t speak to the other doctors, and the nurses and reception staff I interacted with where all lovely. It’s also great to see a practice affordable to students. I hope Dr Hay was simply having an off day, however I would feel unsafe as a female to see him again.

1. The booking was charged without warning when it usually wasn't. 2. There are no nurse available to do the vaccine despite the booking - have to wait for the doctor to do it herself (like 30 mins delay for that/they asked me to go back later - and I can't) 3. Vaccine price increased without notice in the previous call. 4. Staff was a bit angry when I asked about the HiCaps machine - keep mentioning to pay the booking fee (which is clearly not the issue I'm asking about). The only good thing : the doctor (Louise) was experienced, and nice to the patient.

Dr Paul Bolton, I have never met another warm, enthusiastic, sensible, knowledgeable GP like you. All the GPs I have met from the countries I have lived in and since I returned to Australia after living in one country in Europe for 6 years have all been just fine but you have been very welcoming, warm and passionate about your work. It's a pity that I don't live in Adelaide anymore. Where I live, cannot find a doctor like you. You are peerless Doc. Wish you all the best in your life.

Have been attending this practice for many, many years. Customer service has always been impeccable with staff very welcoming, patient and helpful during times of attendance. They have managed the covid thing brilliantly. When you suffer on-going health issues it's comforting and reassuring to know that the health practice you visit is not an overwhelming or unpleasant experience. My GP is the best I've ever had; I would go nowhere else and highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Paul Bolton has been my GP for some years now, and he is an excellent doctor! He is always on time, he listens to me, takes the time to explain any medical concern I have, and he always answers all my questions. In addition, he is very supportive and helpful! I am very thankful to him for all this help over the past years! Also, the nurses and the receptionists are very friendly and professional. They always have treated me well! So it’s always a good experience!

I have been attending this clinic for 5 years now and had nothing but positive experiences. Dr Bolton is willing to take the time to chat to me about my complex medical needs and does it in a friendly and professional manner. I rarely wait more than 10 minutes (compared to my other clinic that I regularly had to wait an hour). The receptionists and nurses are also friendly and professional.

This was my first time visiting the University Health Practice. All of the staff were nice and professional, and Dr. Ramos was lovely and very detailed in all of her explanations. The person who took my blood was understanding of my aversion to needles and made me feel super comfortable. There was just a 15 minute wait beyond my scheduled appointment time, but that's really not a big deal.

The best clinic for international students. I am a student with a kid here, the staff are very professional and take your case into consideration in every aspects! Superior efficient, sweetheart. Dr.Chen can speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese as well. They can also provide vaccine for kids, it is better to phone them discuss the inventory of the vaccine you needed.

Sometimes a longer wait then I'd like. But as patients we should practice patience. All the staff are very nice and understanding. The doctors at this clinic repeatedly prove to be empathetic, responsive, and highly skilled. They go above and beyond the minimum level of care, and are quite accessible and affordable. In many cases they can bulk bill, and the clinic has a nurse onsite for vaccinations, i.e. flu shots, so they can do it that day. Very much worth the trip into the city.

Phenomenal. Of all the doctors rooms I've been to in Adelaide, this one is the best. The staff are incredibly friendly, such a beautiful warming atmosphere. Dr Paul Bolton is fantastic, and exceptionally knowledgable and understanding. The other doctors I've seen in the past have also been fantastic. I'll no longer go anywhere else.

I attended this clinic last night to get a biopsy taken. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful as was the attending doctor. I have only had positive experiences in this clinic and am happy to recommend it. Would advise you to book in early whenever possible as it gets seriously busy when the students are on campus.

I’ve had generally very positive experiences with this practice. I’ve seen a number of doctors, mostly Dr Cranwell and Doctor Bolton, both of whom have been friendly and thorough on all occasions. Sometimes appointments can run late, but I don’t mind waiting for a bit when I know I am going to get good service!

University Health Practice is an excellent health care service provider for the students. The doctors are competent, humble and considerate. Dr Paul Bolton has been the GP for my son and myself and he has been very good in terms of understanding the issue and addressing it in the most appropriate manner.

Dr Bolton has been my GP for almost 6 years. I wouldn't go to any other practice. Probably the first GP I have ever had that actually listens, cares and he is really kind. Dr Neda is an amazing close second. When I can't see Dr Bolton, I head straight to Dr Neda. An incredibly kind and friendly woman.

My wife sees Dr Cheng Chen, she forgets appointment all the time. Dr. Chen knows it and waved her many missed appointments fee. He is very respectful towards his patients and always smile and prescribe the best med for the patients. We strongly recommend him.

They were fast at getting me a full appointment (from the afternoon to the following morning). The doctor was very friendly, professional and listened to my worries/queries... And I got my tetanus booster right there and then. I definitely recommend them.

I've seen several doctors at the University Health Practice on North Terrace and they have all be professional and easy to talk to. I'm happy with the way they have helped me with my health concerns. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful.

Staff are eager to help with reserved appointments and knowledgeable doctors. Vaccinations and pre-course injections a specialty. Low costs here are important.This mostly serves students and staff but all-comers are welcome. Usually a busy place.

I moved interstate and requested that my medical records be transferred to my new GP. They sent me a letter demanding $25 for this "service". Consequently, my new GP knows nothing about my medical history. Disgusting, money-grapping Practice.

I have used the practice for nearly 40 years. They have seen us through the birth of our son, treated us for minor ailments as well as serious, life-threatening illnesses, and have always done so compassionately and professionally. 6 stars!

Dr Chang Chen is very good doctor. He knows what his patient symptom and signs well and prescribe the right and best medication. I have been with this doctor for a few years he has been very empathetic and very accurate in diagnosing.

When I got there, there was a small waiting time (but that's to be expected with clinics) but it's not as long compared to others! The experience there was pleasant and so far the workers I've met has been really polite and nice.

This practice is fantastic. My issues have always been taken seriously and approach in a empathetic and collaborative approach. Dr Bolton is a great doctor who listens to my perspective and gives great evidenced based advice.

Re dr Chen. Finds an intelligent person a threat to his standing as a MD. Will decide what you should have regardless of side effects.or previous recommendations. Not recommended if you want to be in charge of your own health

Terrible. Rude receptionists/long wait times. Waited nearly two hours for a blood test to be told second hand that the pathologist has finished for the day and i would have to come back next time; all while missing classes.

Doctor Chen was personable and an excellent physician. Highly recommend him and being at the cutting edge of medical knowledge at University- I endorse the practice and the practice full heartedly.

No so sure is that racism or not, but it appear all of Asian-looking people need to pay the appointment fee before seeing a doctor, whereas other race can pay the fee after seeing a doctor.
