This is one of the biggest international offices at German universities. The services go far beyond administration of students coming in and going abroad. A section is dedicated to teaching German as a foreign language (DaF) for international students. University pre-courses are offered to prepare non-EU students. The Welcome Center is dedicated to University scholars and managing the Cologne International Forum with venues and accommodation for visiting professors. The International Office has dedicated a lot of it's efforts to Global Responsibility. Activities are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. There is a team focusing on refugees another team is focusing on capacity building worldwide. DAAD and EU funded projects are managed by the International Office.

This is a joke of international office. Beware that the word international doesn’t apply to masters students, just Erasmus. They literally couldn’t help me with anything and I decided to change my university, it’s incredible how they can advertise as first class uni when they just can’t cope with simple English classes.
