The University of Lagos Library is the center of learning for the University community. It's Opened at 8 am and closes 10pm(Although staff sound the alarm fron 9:30/9:40pm). Prepare to come with your materials if you intend to use the library as the books and materials provided may not be relevant to the course outline. Likewise, the ventilation system needs to be updated. Air-conditioning only works on the ground floor. Fans on the second floor and light air-conditioning on the 3rd floor. When the genersl ventilation system develops a fault, it's hard to breathe in the entire library. Charging can only happen on the 3rd floor. For your use come along with an extension. They have a computer room that's highly regimented. But suler fast internet access. Its a cool place to be generally.

Unilag Main Library is a giant building with lots of books and space for reading activities. Althougj, the books and materials are old, they are still useful for researches. You will require your library card to jave access to the building and materials. The Library is close to the waterfront and adjacent the Senate building. The structure is well built with staircases and interconnecting walkways to other buildings. ♿Although, most of the entraces were mainly long steps, some places have been made accessible by creating ramps to connect the library. Restrooms are available for male and female students. There is an ATM within the library.

The University of Lagos Main Library is an ideal place to read, gather materials and books. The ground floor is generally conducive to read and locate materials. However, when you climb to the first floor, the reading area is not well aired. The air conditioners are barely working, and the place is almost always overpopulated. The top floor is the law library which is slightly better than the first floor. And this library is not big enough to service the entire student body. Although a new library is being constructed, more efforts can be made towards making this library better for students.

Quite a good library, but available facilities are insufficient for the ever increasing student populace. No free WiFi except at the database section which can't take more than 20 people. Also, bookshelves need to be updated. There's regular power supply but again, the air conditioning system is very poor these days!

It was recently decorated with street art/graffiti for the Convocation ceremony held not too long ago. It's big and spacious and the restroom facilities are adequate. A nice space to be in.
