"I transferred out of the University of San Francisco real quick"
Campus is in a great location, near Golden Gate Park and close to lots of great restaurants. Beautiful buildings both old and new are home to 18,000 undergrads and the Division 1 Dons athletics programs. Recently renovated Benedetti diamond is a great place to catch a ballgame, and Lone Mountain offers superb views of the city.
Internet is always slow, cafeteria/food contractor over charges, library is always closed on weekends. A lot of foreign students who can't even speak English upon graduation. Students get mugged all the the time. President goes on National TV and says good things, but doesn't do right by the students.
My brother (he is sophomore taking Computer Science) loves this school and this is one of my college choices too. My family has visited this place many times and we are always impressed with the feeling of being welcome and being safe around the campus.
EVERYONE.... from the students to the staff treated us with the highest self regard and always offered their help. Security treated us like human beings and I had several fruitful conversations with strangers all over campus during "move-in day ". USF!
I transferred out of the University of San Francisco real quick. The school is expensive, the education is ok but the material is too easy, and the social life is garbage unless you're undoubtedly liberal. The professors were very nice and
My old school. I attended USFCA for two years and I wish it was longer. Good campus, faculty, I had a heck of a commute so I wish I had campus housing but couldnt afford it. Still, it's a good school, worth a trip even if you don't attend!
My experience with University San Francisco has Been utterly remarkable. Admissions and the touring process were very easy compared to the other UC schools as I was coming from out of state. The academics are good and the teachers seem to
Unfortunately we have had a terrible time with the financial aid office, or any of the offices. The people are not very helpful in most offices and when it comes to any questions regarding financial aid is terrible, terrible. Mind you my
Think before applying to this university because the admission staff is irresponsible. Do not depend upon its application status because they don't even inform about it. After e-mailing them the necessary document and getting transcript
Beautiful campus in the heart of the city but otherwise, a school filled with professors that don’t really care, poor accommodations for students with disabilities, extremely expensive, campus police focuses more on giving you parking
I’m updating my previous review. I’m in six-figure debt with this institution for grad school, & being a Jesuit school, they care more about social justice for the community outside the school community, not the students!
Visited Ignacio's church. Stepped outside to see awesome picture perfect SF university quadrangle with nicely maintained grass lawns. Perfect place to rest, relax, enjoy the sun & shade and eat lunch
I'm a male, late 20's student at USF, and this has been my experience: 1) Rigorous - Having had a decent amount of life experience before coming here,
Great campus and grounds to walk. Nice easy elevation gain with beautiful landscaping. Neighborhood has nice architecture & homes to walk as well.
Beautiful campus Located across from the Golden Gate Park, the University of San Francisco is one of the must-visit spots in your SF trip.
The University is located between golden gate bridge and golden park, with a huge church inside.
One of the best university of Bay Area, highly recommend this best university to all.
Not so great. They however get foreign students who mistake this for UCSF or SFSU.
