"a great park; relatively well kept, open spaces, good playground and exercise space"
"One of the nicest parks in the area"
"We love this park and use it lots"
"A really lovely park, theres plenty to do in the mini gym, a good selection of courts to use and the kids park has recently been renovated on certain parts to ensure it's safe, always enjoyed visiting the park as a child and still do now, a bit muddy this winter but in the summer it's a lovely place for groups to get together"
Very nice park with varieties of facilities available. Nice seating area, Children's Play Area, Outdoor Gym, Tennis Court, Football Pitch, Cricket Pitch, Kiosk, a Pavilion and Flower Meadow! Wow! Play Area has wide arrays of play equipments and plenty of them - swings, slides, climbing etc. Different size equipments are for different age groups. A pretty good to bring your kids. And adjacent to the Play Area - an Outdoor Gym to do exercise. Brilliant space indeed! On the Corbets Tey Road entrance by the Hornchurch Library, Public Toilets for Gents and Ladies including an accessible toilet for public use. Street Parking on the Corbets Tey Road enables easy access to the park. There are some disabled parking bays as well.
a great park; relatively well kept, open spaces, good playground and exercise space. Toilets are a little grubby, but nothing to get overly concerned over. Cricket at the back, with football teams there too. Events there are good, and the tea cabin has everything you need. Why oh why oh why is the large slide like that? An incredibly poor design - almost as if it's made to be purposefully dangerous :-)
One of the nicest parks in the area. Just off of the town centre, there are acres of green space for football, cricket (home to Upminster CC), picnics and dog walking. There are Tennis courts, basketball and football hard courts, fitness equipment, refreshments, and a decent children's playground. It's very well maintained too. Public toilets can be found at the entrance.
We love this park and use it lots. We meet friends for picnics, play football and use the park. It's great for kids of all ages as it also have tennis courts which are free to use and a basket ball court and football pitches. There is also a table tennis table but you need your own equipment. Fantastic park and so clean and well looked after.
A really lovely park, theres plenty to do in the mini gym, a good selection of courts to use and the kids park has recently been renovated on certain parts to ensure it's safe, always enjoyed visiting the park as a child and still do now, a bit muddy this winter but in the summer it's a lovely place for groups to get together.
Lovely clean park, with outdoor toilet facilities. Nice mixture of things to do Ie outdoor exercise, baby toddler play section and older kids play Lots of greenery to chill or play activities to Highly recommend Lovwly area Well kept. Close shops for refreshments plus the park has its own ice cream and refreshments hut open.
By definition its not a park its a recreation ground, with tennis courts, table tennis, and football field, cricket ground all mish mashed into one place, theres no onsite toilet but the one that is available is on the high st, there is a children's play site that is quite comprehensive.
Has good open places to play football. Has concrete floor basketball pitches and also has tennis pitches. Also has a good playground for little children.
Playground
There is a playground which is mostly for young children but there is a big swing that older children could use.
Nice place with a good playground. There is plenty of grass to sit on and also has somewhere for food and toilets.
Playground
Lots of things for under 12s. Some younger children will need supervision
Picnic area
There are a few benches and plenty of grass area
Lovely place to chill in. Not too big but plenty to do. Great chd playground which is popular. Close to shops which visitors were taking advantage getting their picnic food .also nice food and ice cream kiosk. Nice to parents supporting their children's developing skills.
A park that has everything you should need. Decently big field, tennis courts, basketball court, a children’s play area, fitness equipment and even table tennis tables. It is right on the high street so easy access to shops. The only draw back is the lack of parking.
Large park in centre of Upminster. Well used by locals. Cricket club and practice nets, tennis courts, football pitch, outdoor table tennis and gym. Lovely children play area.Nice flowers, what is not to like. Opposite pub and restaurants. V.well looked after.
A small, lawned and landscaped and perfectly level park on the high street with a variety of amenities including playground, kiosk, a cricket field, courts and toilets. Maintained to a good standard with bedding and tree-lined paths. Pleasant atmosphere here.
Great park for children of all ages to play !! The only disadvantage would be that older children such as teenagers cant ust the park as its mainly for 12 and unders . This means that teenagers have no where to relax or to talk to friends.
It's an excellent park with children playing facilities as well as walking paths for a long walk without realising you are in the middle of a bustling town. Especially now that that autumn colours are showing up in all its splendour.
This is a well designed Park with plenty of things to entertain children and tennis courts for the adults. It also has a large grass area for leisure and recreation. Visitors can play table tennis near to the kiosk which has a good
great park with tennis courts, basket ball court and outdoor gym. also has quite a good children's play area. word of advise though if you want ice cream go to Iceland it's right opposite and a lot cheaper than the kiosk...
Lovely ambience with a real zen approach. Mind out for the beady eyes pigeon as he tries to attack you. Also if you sit there for 3 hours there's a glitch in the matrix as the people walking around start to repeat.
Daytime visit The atmosphere was zero activity.staff appeared to be indifferent to whether they had customers or not. It's quite overdue for a makeovers it's quite grim. Would I recommend it?... its a No from me
Went to the park and played tennis with kids and had a walk round the park, Not a huge park but well kept with small drinks and snacks kiosk right next to Upminster high street.
Playing area for children for example swings climbing frames, trees , grass , bush's , tuck shop , cricket club , outdoor gym and tennis courts . Overall 4.5 / 5 is fair
Good local park with a good play area for children. Local shops nearby and plenty of places to eat a snack or a 3 course meal. Public toilets available.
Great Local facility. Well used by all ages especially suitable for Children. Tennis courts, outside ping pong, cricket pitch, football training areas.
Always a nice place to walk and relax in. Refreshment but open on the weekends at the moment. Children's swings and slides plus public toilets.
Lovely park in Upminster. Always nice to see so many kids playing and people walking around. Also a nice little food and drinks shop to enjoy!
A very well kept park. Has a little cafe in the park and lots of benches for picnics. Lots to do for all ages. Also has gym equipment
One of the better parks, clean and friendly. The play area is good and the pathways makes it nice for a bike ride or roller skating.
it's SOOO fun (❁^◡^❁) and the people are so friendly, i can't wait to go there again!
A pleasant park with children and toddlers play area. There are no public toilets.
Nice area and very clean...perfect to spend some time with your family/friends.
Lovely time with our granddaughter, she loved the swings and too a picnic.
Lovely park,my grandson loved it here as did my kids when they were small.
Lovely open park, the staff deserve credit for keeping it clean and safe
Very nice park, big too. Can get some peace and quiet if you need it
As always a great time spent there
