10/10 recommend Urban Rental. We lived in New Zealand and my partner got a great job in Sydney. We weren't familiar with any area or where to even start looking to live. I contacting Urban Rentals and had an extensive conversation about what we were looking for and what kind of neighborhood and amenities we would like in our price range. We got a few places sent to us to review but they just weren't hitting the mark. The agents noticed the things we were or weren't liking and made adjustments. And the next several apartments were amazing. The hardest part was picking the perfect one. We decided on one and everything was seamless after that. On final walk through, they noticed the carpet (that was supposed to already have been cleaned) didn't look that great and that the apt needed another clean, so they arranged all of that before we moved in. We were super happy with our choice and had a lovely welcome package from Urban Rentals. Wanna make a shout out to Justin and Terry. We will definitely be using them again if we stay longer in Sydney!!

Going to be honest --- we debated whether or not to use Terry and her team at URA because we weren't sure it was necessary to spend money on a renter's agent, and looking back, I feel silly that we were ever debating it! Terry was incredible from beginning to end and made the process of renting a place in Sydney soo easy. Not only did she find us a gorgeous home that we definitely couldn't have found on our own, but she helped us secure it by prepping our application in advance and managed all of the correspondence, paperwork, etc. so we basically did nothing. On move in day, she and her team handled the inspection which was crucial -- she caught some little things (scratches on floor, etc) that weren't in the report that we 100% would have overlooked because we were too focused then on moving our stuff in and getting settled. Highly recommend working with her and if you are on the fence, definitely do it!

I recently worked with Urban Renter's Agent for a move from Melbourne to Sydney. Excellent service, super responsive, listened to my laundry list and within 3 weeks I had secured a great property, even in a very tough rental market. They went out of their way to advocate with the property manager which, I'm sure, helped my application. It was great to see detailed videos and honest explanations of each inspection and they were very knowledgeable on local areas, which I greatly valued. They reviewed the contract, collected the keys on my behalf and completed the condition report (in great detail) so all I had to do was move in. Fantastic service that would suit those already living in Sydney and moving house, as well as those moving from outside Sydney. Would unreservedly 100% recommend and definately use again. We worked with Terry to find a home in the north shore of Sydney, while we were still living in the US. Terry is calm, warm, and thorough in her communication. She helped calibrate us to the market, attended multiple open houses and took detailed videos to share with us as we couldn't be in person.
