I never would have expected to find some of the best Mediterranean food of my life in an Asian country, but V&O shattered my expectations. Absolutely exquisite dishes whose freshness you can taste in the explosion of flavor, including muhammara, roasted eggplant, falafel, hummus, and a unique cinnamon couscous dessert that cannot be missed! All dishes were inspired by recipes from the owner's grandmother whose love you can taste in every bite. The light, healthy cuisine was a healthy relief from the greasy fare of the night market street food. Equally as enjoyable as the food is the welcoming staff whose hospitality will make you never want to leave. The owner was such a delight to talk with that our discussion continued way past close into the wee morning hours! This is the warm neighborhood cafe serving authentic cuisine by authentic people to friends and strangers alike, a real gem of Tapei's multicultural community.

Excellent food, every single dish is delicious and made with love and care. Ohana brings all of his different roots and influences to our plates. It is a mix of levantine, maghreban and other cuisines. He genuinely wants us to learn and appreciate about the dishes but also some of the background behind it. He makes sure we choose the right dishes and the right amount for our table. It is all made fresh, so you might have to wait a bit for each dish, but they come staggered. And since each dish is delicious, it is not a problem at all. Just be aware that the meze platters might not be served as a single unit all at once. But every time Ohana came to our table to bring another dish, he treated us like friends visiting his home. By the end of the evening, our bellies were full and we had made a new friend.

My grandma and I really had a great time experiencing the various flavors in the restaurant. We had the Lanbeh, hummus, chicken skewers, pita, and falafel. My favorite was probably the skewers and the Lanbeh because I had never had those kinds of foods before. The medley of spices on the skewers was surprising and left me wanting more. Talking to Ohana (one of the owners) was really nice, and the other owner/business partner makes really good cocktails. I had the Herbal Gimlet and Blue, and my grandma had the Tiramasu cocktail. I tasted it, and the Tiramasu cocktail is the perfect dessert! Overall, I'm really grateful for my first culinary experience at this establishment and the great conversation I had with Ohana.

My friends and I had a great time at this Middle Eastern restaurant in Taipei. Quality is magnificent. Have spent much of my life in the Middle East and this place is among the best of the restaurants cooking food of the region to my taste. 老闆非常客氣，感覺的出來是認真在做料理！推鷹嘴豆泥+pita，很特殊的風味，喜歡香料和鷹嘴豆泥的話務必嘗試。如果想吃飽的話推薦捲餅，或是點菜+香料飯也很棒。 店內氣氛也不錯，天花板有乾燥花的裝飾，燈光很好看不會過暗，播放的音樂剛好也都是我喜歡的風格（都懷疑是不是播放清單長的很像XDD 酒單滿多的，有經典的調酒，也有特殊的以前沒看過的，這次點了一杯梅酒小紫蘇，紫蘇香氣非常濃郁，但不會蓋掉梅酒本人的香味，甜甜的很好喝。 比較要注意的是，突然人多混雜的時候，餐點要等比較久也比較有機會漏，但可以理解，因為看得到的最多也就三位工作人員，要同時服務十多位客人的餐/酒真是辛苦了，最後老闆還很過意不去請我們喝 shot 我想有好的空間，美味的料理，有吃飽喝足，和三兩好友聊的開心是最重要的！

我們用餐那天，主廚因為塞車遲到，加上出菜時間長，讓我們餓壞了 老闆是以色列人，即使忙裡忙外還是相當熱情招呼客人、跟我們介紹菜色和推薦吃法 我們三人點了北非牛羊香腸、佛列塔塔香料蛋、鷹嘴豆全餐（番茄糊升級成莎卡蔬卡蕃茄蛋） 黎凡特沙拉-有一些香料味偏酸口 鷹嘴豆泥我個人很喜歡，攪拌平均後上面醬料吃起來有微酸酸辣的很順口，搭皮塔口袋餅一起吃讚的 鷹嘴豆球外表感覺是重口味結果完全不一樣，吃起來淡淡豆味乾乾的 北非牛羊香腸口感有點軟挺微妙，香料味我蠻喜歡 卡菝雞肉串較普通，可以想像到的味道 佛列塔塔香料蛋有點像九層塔蛋茴香蛋那樣 莎卡蔬卡蕃茄蛋是很認真滿滿的番茄糊！半熟蛋一起吃很順口，吃到後面會滿酸的，建議一定要配黎凡特香料飯 平時較少接觸地中海料理，整體口味乾淨算新鮮感十足 菜色份量比較少（杯盤狼藉照片當作份量比例尺） 我覺得如果不愛吃口袋餅和香料飯的不會飽，價位平價！

This was the best Mediterranean cuisine I've had in my life. After interacting with the chef & owner, I realized why: he has preserved his grandmother's recipes from Morocco. The food was remarkably fresh, incredibly seasoned, and the ambiance was the icing on the cake. I'm hoping to visit again soon.

10/5 姊妹三人來此吃晚餐，主廚OHANA來自以色列，來台20多年，中文相當流利，會向每一桌仔細說明料理特色，小妹是Vegan，主廚還為她調整菜色，怕她吃不飽，還偷偷加飯量，十分貼心。 據說主廚忠於中東原味，才疏學淺如我，雖不識中東料理原始樣貌，只知許多道菜都有檸檬提味，清爽不膩，很合我胃口。番茄糊、Pita餅、鷹嘴豆泥搭配鷹嘴豆球必點，鷹嘴豆球連肉食主義的大妹都讚不絕口，主廚解釋中東地區的Vegan常以此代替肉。雞肉餅也很軟嫩入味，牙口不好的長輩也能吃。 最特別的是甜點-卡納費，它是用中東乾麵線和乳酪為基底，撒上開心果粉，乳酪味濃郁，口感獨特，推薦大家點來吃吃看，保證絕對驚艷。

第二次來訪，鷹嘴豆泥跟羊乳酪真的很好吃，其他的餐點也不錯，味道蠻重的，但同時也會有清爽的感覺，配合餐點的餅也很好吃，跟餐點非常的搭，上次用餐也有點酒，相比起來我下次會選擇啤酒。這是一間跟朋友聚餐會想到的餐廳，我覺得很特別，好有自己特色的異國料理，這次通行的友人也覺的好吃，兩週前來用餐，有一點小插曲，差點沒吃到心心念念的鷹嘴豆泥，老闆好像以為我喜歡鷹嘴豆球，這品項當時已經賣完，他還特地用剩下的材料給我做了一顆很sweet，但其實我熱愛的是鷹嘴豆泥，還好還是吃到了，依舊很讚，還會想約其他不同的朋友回訪。

這間地中海餐廳料理跟主廚背景一樣很混血！老闆用標準台灣口吻中文跟我們熱情介紹菜單與料理巧思，例如伊朗以色列會用很多「酸」調味。前菜沙拉很酸但加上橄欖的鹹味非常提味也很搭，乳酪是羊乳酪很意外；店內招牌是番茄蛋，實際上是大量番茄糊加上蛋，配著口袋餅、香料飯，純沾乳酪醬也非常美味；還有很多驚艷的小點，即使是外表看起來很像的番茄糊，味道竟然很不同，可以溫潤又清爽，也可以帶有辣勁；整餐吃下來其實很健康沒有負擔感，鷹嘴豆球也很好吃；主廚忙進忙出還不忘關心我們的口感，還招待我們很特別的茴香酒，真的太熱情太親切了。用餐下來感受到滿滿服務熱誠，真的是非常棒的一餐！

1.點了兩份蓋飯，等了很久以後店員說飯沒了只能先上一份，問我們要不要把另一份改成口袋餅。我納悶的是飯沒了怎麼沒早點發現？我們等了這麼久才說飯沒了… 2.米布丁口感完全不對，米是硬的且結塊，有和店員反應，店員表示應該是放冷凍還沒完全退冰…。廚師在製作的過程中絕對看的出來，因為米都結塊了，還端出來給客人讓人覺得蠻傻眼的。 蓋飯味道是好吃的，但以上兩點令人失望，雖然最後因等太久被招待口袋餅且甜點沒算錢，但還是敗興而歸。希望店家能再細心一點。

餐點非常美味，最讓我驚訝的是紅蘿蔔。我是一個超討厭吃紅蘿蔔的人，但紅蘿蔔味被酸甜的風味取代，搭配些許香料讓我吃了好幾口！建議第一次來吃的人湊四到五人，點1999元的套餐，可以吃到幾乎所有品項。下次可以依照個人偏好點餐。炸鷹嘴豆球酥脆，油炸用的油吃起來很乾淨沒有雜味。乳酪沾醬酸度很適中，和沙拉與番茄糊、鷹嘴豆泥一起夾入口袋餅中，清爽不膩，搭配中東辣醬非常適合。吃了很多東西但絲毫不覺得負擔，烤雞肉串、羊肉腸跟牛肉餅都很好吃喔！ 抱歉我只拍了紅蘿蔔因為其他東西端上來之後就被吃光了哈！

黎凡特 地中海式料理餐廳，V&O即是取自二位老闆的名字，跟土耳其料理類似但又有些差異，點了蛋奶素的Mezze Makhlouf 雙人套餐，口味蠻清爽的，香料紅蘿蔔沙拉吃超來酸酸甜甜的很涮嘴，也喜歡經典菜色「莎卡蔬卡番茄蛋」及「鷹嘴豆泥」，香料的運用得當，不會覺得口味太重，以色列籍的主廚很親切，除了煮菜、介紹吃法還兼聊天，聊著聊著就又點了招牌的中東奶酪，以乳酪、開心果等堅果粉、特製糖漿混合而成，吃來像是麻糬且甜度並不高。 海邊的卡夫卡及小熊軟糖調酒，酒味不會太濃厚，蠻好喝的。

The amicable owner suggested that we order the set which is enough for 2-3 people but I was left quite hungry afterwards. That said, if cost isn’t a factor, the flavors of the dishes are mind-blowing and unique but the portions are…...

意外查到捷運中山站的特色小店，老闆是以色列人，非常的熱情介紹餐點，不吃香菜也特別幫忙換成巴西里，是地中海料理，平常比較少接觸到地中海料理，點了皮塔口袋餅、香料飯、乳酪醬、莎卡蔬卡蕃茄蛋再加上肉多多餐，肉多多餐裡面的北非香腸、雞肉串、牛肉餅我都很喜歡，最後甜點中東奶酪，跟奶酪沒什麼關聯的感覺，其實是一道鹹點，基底是乳酪，然後外表酥酥的，灑上磨過的堅果和開心果，真心推薦可以點來吃看看

第一次吃地中海料理，鷹嘴豆泥和口袋餅超級搭，其他菜色的口味也都很清爽，唯一比較可惜，香料蛋趁熱吃更好吃。 調酒也很好喝，可以讓bartender為料理做搭配，套餐的菜色同價位可以更換。 單純來喝酒也很棒，老闆人很nice，氣氛極佳。

I love this place. Such amazing Mediterranean food. Cool owner too. This place with be one of my regulars for sure.

食物部分的確嚐起來是滿異國風味的，食材跟香料的搭配覺得還頗有特色，看菜色內容應該是可以吃很飽的平民料理，不過實際上份量卻好少，人均500是一定吃不飽的，若想嚐鮮可以試試，我是不會再訪了

酒館內裝與氛圍舒適自在，裝潢好拍照，特調相當有趣，可以考考老闆，適合女孩下班後相聚閒聊，老闆Vance &Ohana都相當細心照顧客人需要，少見有溫度、溫柔的酒館經營方式。
