Im a local to Dromana and i know people that have been here before so i decided to give it try, i wish i didn’t ! I got there and was asked what service i wanted and when i said i wanted a pedicure and shellac on my toes, i already had shellac on my toes from a previous shop and i asked if they were able to remove it and he said it was able to be removed, all the chairs where empty and the staff where just sweeping and the owner im assuming told me to come back in an hour, i was hesitant but i really wanted to have them done. Once i came back i was told to sit down, the owner came over and put some polish on my feet, after about 5 minutes my toes started burning i then figured he put on the remover, i sat there for about 15 minutes before anyone came to me after that even though i had already been told to wait an hour. It would have been nice for them to at-least put water in my bath so i could have soaked my feet. I was seen by a lovely lady named Sarah she instantly came over and ran my bath, i was concerned that when she came over she came straight from doing another pedicure and with all the same tools, i had choose my colour and it was a sparkly white the owner then brought it over and sarah proceeded, i then just sat back, sarah was extremely gentle and was very pleasant, once i started getting my toes painted i noticed that the colour was wrong, but i don’t do well with confrontation so i didn't mind, it wasn’t to much of a difference just a silver sparkly instead of white. Once i was done i got up to pay it was actually me and my boyfriend he offered to pay the man says it was 65 which i had never paid that much for a pedicure, we went to pay with card when the owner was begging us to go get cash out we ended up going to the supermarket and he was staring at us the whole time, we then came back and paid and left. I now 2 days later cant walk on my left foot without out being in pain my toe is red and swollen and I’ve had to completely cut my toe nail down and remove the 2 day old shellac just try relieve some of the pain. I do not blame the workers they all seemed lovely. I blame the owner he was rude and for being a place where I’m assuming close to 50 people come everyday they aren’t clean or sanitary. I will not be coming back here.

I really wanted to like this place as it’s so close to home and I needed a new local salon. I went there 5 times in total & gave it a fair shot. When they first opened I got an eye lash lift, lessened learnt only go to proper salons for this. They just caked my lashes in a glue and they didn’t lift at all. Two ladies had to come in because it wasn’t working when they were doing it. They didn’t lift the lashes individually just in clumps, it hurt as they were yanking my lashes up hard to try and make it work and it took 1& half hours. I had sore sticky eye lids for a few days after that. They charged full price even though it didn’t work but nails were perfect that visit. I went back because they did a great job with my nails. Took a picture to show the ombré I wanted a cream & dusty mauve. I ended up with two toned grey and white nails. Go back again for SNS on my natural nails, it was super thick and looked like shiny, thick, fake, cheap bad nails. Next try asked for a basic manicure to leave the round shape I had. I come out with pointy nails that are different shapes on each hand and the polish looks all pitted and wavy. I could have done a better job at home myself and now I have to cut them and wait for them to grow back. The positives are the owners are lovely, it’s very clean and the little bottle a water is a nice touch but that means nothing when they stuff up your nails.

I have been here twice now, 1st time was fantastic, today was a very different story. Fake and Pathetic service!! The girls are lovely but Peter seems to only want customers who want SNS or shellac. Anything else and he is full of excuses of why they can’t do it! I like to do my own pedicure because I like my toe nails cut really short so I went in today for SNS and just normal polish on my toes. Well I walked out with only SNS because I didn’t want shellac or a pedicure, Peter told me they couldn’t guarantee the nail polish on my toes. Who ever heard of a nail salon that doesn’t paint normal polish or don’t guarantee the polish they supply. My only conclusion was that it wasn’t worth their while. It’s all about money money money!! Perhaps they should be audited for charging 10% less for cash, I’m sure the Govt would love to make them report their GST on their cash sales too. Imagine what else they’re not paying, wages, super…. Good luck to you, I won’t be coming back ever!!

My Mum recommended this place to me. The salon is very well presented. The staff are very professional. (They didn't spend the whole time talking loudly amongst themselves, like they do in a lot of salons.) The owner was very attentive. A bottle of water was offered as well as some nail care items for free. The pedicure was fine. It cost $35 which is about the same anywhere. They had some beautiful male opera singing on in audio and some visual comedy on the TV where you didn't need to hear it to get it, as well as the massage chair, so the time flew by. I'll go back there again. Thank you

Not one to get my nails done regularly as it’s difficult to find a good quality salon. So whenever I’m in Dromana (I live in Melbourne) I pop into VIP Nails and get my nails done. The salon is professional and also clean. The staff are friendly and polite. Today I had the pleasure of meeting Annie. Annie is truly professional and knows her trade well. My nails look great and I know they will last no fear of chipping within 24 hours like other salons. I never feel like a number on a production line . Highly Recommended. Thank you

I have been to many nail salons over the years and I’m here to tell you VIP ticks all boxes for me. Rose my eyebrow shaper and tinted is so attentive to detail, very thorough and so lovely…all of the girls here are very good at what they do love them all …did I mention the other amazing thing is it’s so clean and kept that way all day you feel quite special plus a complimentary water upon arrival ! I just LOVE this place! Service with a smile from the moment you enter. I have been here a couple of times since it re-opened as VIP and I won’t go anywhere else! Complimentary bottle of water, your own file/buff to take home and a great music playlist. I feel so relaxed coming here. The man at the door is so lovely and had friendly banter with my 88yr old Nan. I tell everyone to come here. So glad it’s my local! Thanks VIP!

If I could rate this zero I would. Staff were rude and ignorant and did my nails so that the were lifting up and refused a refund or re do it they were rude and said my nails are a problem for them lifting. Don’t go they scam ur money. That’s my hard earned money and I’ve been saving up for a while and I get my nails done all the time and they have never turned out this way. Don’t go unless you want to be scammed

Really happy with my experience here, have come back a few times before reviewing just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke! I am extremely picky with my nail techs, and have found Kim does an incredible job of getting my nails exactly how I like them. Friendly staff, great music, and although yes it has high(ish) prices, you do pay for quality. I work in retail and my acrylics last me 3-4 weeks. Super happy customer.

10/10 would absolutely recommend- staff were lovely and made conversation, fantastic customer service skills. Fantastic prices as well, not as expensive as I thought! Also was given a complementary chilled water bottle and nail file+buffer, and I am in love with how my nails turned out! A huge step up from the previous occupants, will definitely be coming here again!

Pretty disappointing service. Salon itself beautiful and staff lovely but pedicure paid $60 and didn’t even scrub feet or moisturise, just soaked in water and painted. Left and feet still dirty! Nails left with glue all over them and came home and had to get my partner to re file. Understand busy time with holidays but that’s why we booked appointments.

Don't go there. Got deluxe spa pedicure with shilac upgrade. In and out in 20mins, feet barely soaked in water(3mins each foot max ,between cutting nails), massage was about 3mins , bottoms of feet barely "dry skin removal". I'll stick to getting pedicures in Melbourne, just really feel like a bit more time and care could've been taken for $65.

Great service, extremely clean salon. They clean as they go, not just in one big hit at the end so you’re not breathing in dust from the filings. Sarah did an amazing job. I’ve been here a handful of times now and each time has been great. Very friendly and professional service. I would definitely recommend.

The place was very clean and had a good vibe but the lady didn’t ask me what nail I wanted my design on and did it on the wrong nail,she also got a bit of my colour on my nail and now I have a spot of red on there.

Disappointed with some of the service and the way we were spoken too after being over charged and the nail polish flaked off within 4 hrs. The girls were lovely. The man was rude and did not trust the customer.
