And I just may be a little salty because I've been waiting for a hospital bed on a planned admission for 12 hours now... And maybe the security guard just caught me at a bad moment when I was trying to let my grandmother know that I was going to be coming home tonight instead of 5 days from now since they can't get me a bed in a reasonable time and this guard just caught me at the bad moment when I was getting ready to put the drink to my mouth and interrupting my phone call to tell me that I needed to put this stupid mask on. Oh man oh man let me tell you this hospital will be more than happy to let you wait for 12 hours on a scheduled admission. But let me tell you the security guards though They are on their game let me tell you they will come out of a section that they are patrolling to let you know that you need to put your mask back on, even when you're getting ready taking a drink. If they had as good of bed turnaround time as the guards were on their game goodness this hospital will be running in tip top shape!!

Audit Students Beware: The university created a 'school' email address for me without notifying me and sent all e-bills to this account, which I had no access to. By the time they notified me on my personal email of semester fees and tuition, I had accrued 140% in interest and late fees, despite having called Student Accounts at the beginning of the semester to confirm no outstanding fees or tuition existed. Pam in Student Accounts refused to even respond to me when I requested proof of when and how the university allegedly notified me about the email address they had created. Unethical and shockingly callous customer service - and incredibly steep fees that I could have avoided altogether had they properly communicated with me. I was financially punished for their amateur operations, and forced to pay late fees on the threat of being sent to a debt collection agency. I can only express my disgust at a system that cares more about their financial gain than the ethical treatment of their students.

They be killing covid. Snowbunnies are nice out here. Saw one snowbunny extremely beautiful that showed me where admissions is that's all. The other snowbunny she asked for directions too is attractive too. Women here make a man skeet his pants . If they ask me out ill be trill with it "I don't even got money to take you out because of mr. Turner "the hater". However, the female judge had my back and she knows im not in Murfreesboro. Plus my lawyers got my bounty check too." Plus some do got lawyers too and they will tell them "that's the owner of the state." Plus got a random book to read too and all the water too. Women also know that I came from eating werewolves to steak, some know what that motto means.

The university was ok, but all redeeming value was lost when the board of trust hired Daniel Diermeier as chancellor. He is the embodiment of the White Moderate whom Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. warned about in his, "Letter from a Birmingham Jail." I can't believe that the board is dumb enough to consider him an expert in corporate relations, because as an alumni, I would never donate to the general fund because of him. His decision to prioritize sports over graduate student welbeing when allocating covid tests in 2020, and insult on top of injury with his book and appreciation bonus to everyone except those who suffer the most and do the real work of this institution must never be forgiven.

The campus is absolutely stunning. The education is top notch and the students are kind and friendly. Since it’s a bit liberal arts it allows you to major in non premed but still go into science. Usually you can find paid research done at the medical center. I would say the only downside is that it tends to lean very liberal in its teachings. They don’t represent conservative ideology well and when conservative viewpoints are expressed they will shut them down in class. That’s a common thing that has been occurring in universities across the country so I won’t hold it against them.

Best university in the nation. "Harvard of the South" is a discredit to Vanderbilt by association with a lower tier institution. Fantastic faculty and classes are a hallmark of all its schools with great student:teacher ratios and quality, industry leading professors. Administration is fairly solid as far as universities go. The student culture is also very relaxed, and it should be easy for most people to find a great group of friends among a campus that isn't too large but has great student body variety.

If you’re looking for a stroll around gorgeous buildings and amazing magnolia trees in the spring this is the place to come to! The campus is very cool with nicely kept landscape. Lots of flowers and nature as well as intricately designed buildings. I also worked in the laboratory in Research building 4 on the 9th floor and the views are incredible! My time there was very precious as we have made terrific progress however I wish we were better compensated. But such is the life in an academic institution.

My husband stayed in the VU Med center Clinical Research Center for 4.5 days. We started participating in research here in 2013. It's always a treat for us. We love the entire staff, housekeepers to attending. We learn a lot; none of our questions seem to be a bother. We've promoted the autonomic program far & wide, including all 4 corners of the US.

Went over by Vanderbilt University to just walk around this beutiful campus. The old buildings and architectural aspects are beutiful. It's full of very old trees that surround the campus. I really love the magnolia trees. An excellent place to walk around or have a picnic out in the grass. Definitely recommend a visit to Vanderbilt University.

A stunning campus. Beautiful grounds, amazing architecture, clean as a whistle. We were staying in the area and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The Flemings restaurant in the area is bar far the best Flemings we have ever visited. Our bartender was extremely pleasant and helpful with our meal selections.

The nursing staff is amazing you cannot ask for better treatment care and emotional Care. The doctors do not communicate enough to the patient to let them know what is going on that is very upsetting when you have more than one doctor they do not communicate with the other doctors very disappointing

They were super busy! But they still gave my aunt great care. Was concerned, and understanding. Apologitic for the wait, and kept us informed on everything. They do not have any beds, but it is a poplar hospital and a lot was going on. Overall it was great! Got the care she needed

Beautiful and comfortable campus and neighborhood. Walking around in Spring is unforgettable experience. The dinning halls are much better than average, I would even say some of them are great! Good restaurant choices around campus. Not all, but some student dorms are impressive.

Husband used to work here pouring cerrabend molds by hand in the basement to use in radiation therapy in 2014 for shielding. He also helped with other radiation treatment methods here too. He got his Doctorate of Medical Physics through the college here to treat cancer/etc..

Well, what can I say? It is Vanderbilt University, one of the best none-Ivy schools. Campuses are great, organized. Students are smart and work hard. While understanding some negative reviews about the school, I think it is indeed one of the best your kids can attend.

They gave personal medical data of their transgender patients to the AG who is trying to invalidate the patients need to access medical care by charging them with medical billing fraud. Christianity wants to be the only entity allowed to alter genetalia.

Beautiful campus! Buildings that hold classes and students cohabitate closely. It was challenging to tell which were residence halls, though. New buildings going up. I believe they're going to be residence halls. An awesome self guided tour opportunity.

Beautiful campus with gorgeous historical architecture. Grounds were not well groomed given that spring was in full season when we visited. Also, plenty of construction obstructs navigation through out the grounds between building projects.

Attending my friend’s commencement here. Talked to some professors and students here and I felt the professors and staffs really care about their students. The graduate students here also enjoyed the study and the research they are doing.

Seems like a cool place. Lots of international students around and lots of 'private' Vanderbilt parking lots in the area. Many cars had violation tickets on them... probably cars belonging to guests of hotels in the area. Whoops :-))

A first class exposure in education, gathering real-world experience, classmates, community, and people. A good caring bunch anywhere you look. Fantastic facilities, many historic, many new and many renovated. Campus is beautiful.

  • Alicia Martinez

I mean, I work here so they pay my bills but it really is a fantastic university. The students are incredibly bright and insightful, most of them are kind, the campus is beautiful. Would recommend even just for a visit! …

Eye Candy Galore!!! What an amazing campus to casually walk. It was my first time to visit, and I will advise anyone traveling to Nashville to definitely go and check it out. I enjoyed every minute!

Everyone was so kind. I can't say a bad word about anyone. Nurses, doctors, nutrition, housekeeping. You have the best staff of anywhere I've ever been. Thank you for taking good care of me.

Beautiful school with a wonderful VA coordinator. I appreciate the communication while I was deciding where I wanted to go for my MBA. Vanderbilt will hold a special place in my heart.

Was only at the Marriott conference center, but the university staff that spoke over the three day medical conference were exceptional and leaders in their field.

The university is a perfect size location to put a college like this. Everything is within walking distance, and it is close to downtown Nashville.
