Horrible, absolutely horrible! I went there to do erodium plaiting on three rings, re-engraving and fixing a crack on 2 of them. I went to pick it up and one of the rings was not plaited, crack not fixed and engraving not done. I was mortified as I really needed it back that day as a gift. I left it with them for another week, came back to pick it up to a sub-par erodium plaiting. The guy there told me that the diamond under one of the rings they didn't replace just like we discussed. I was in utter shock that the ring that I have him was completely intact, how did the diamond come out. I told him we NEVER had a discussion about there being a missing diamond and in fact, when I gave it to him, all the diamonds were there. He kept saying he asked me if I wanted to fix it and he didn't fix because I told him no. I made it very clear that I NEVER had ANY discussion with him about that diamond and it was NOT missing when I gave it to them. He replied by saying "that's what all the customers say, they give something and say there's something missing or wrong when they get it back. It was at that moment I realised this looks like something he does to people. How is it that a lot of your customers are saying the same thing!!! To top it off, he only re-engraved one of the rings not the other one (which he charged me for) AND now he was saying he wanted to charge me extra to replace a that HE lost!!! He later decided to replace the diamond for free, which is just as well because the diamond replacement made up for the lack of engraving on the ring. I paid for everything and sat in the car to take another look and I realised that the part where the diamond was taken out, has a massive crack in it and is broken. I am absolutely fuming. Horrible company, terrible service, terrible communication and false and misleading practice. I am shocked that he could break my jewellery and then try and turn it around to make it seem like it was my fault. I feel so bad for trusting them to do this important job, I am so disappointed. Complete rip off and not worth me paying for at all. I would never recommend this place to anyone, go to a reputable jeweller where they give quality

The worst experience ever. Walked in for watch battery and the owner noticed my ring (18 c--white gold) needed to be fixed and cleaned cost including watch battery $120 and charged in advance. Watch ready in 10 minutes and ring will be ready on Wednesday, said working and will return on Saturday to pick up. Couldnt make it on Saturday and went Sunday to pick up my ring he said not ready they haven't delivered the cleaning stuff and said Monday maybe or Wednesday. I said it's ok if it's not cleaned ill have it. He said sorry not ready, I was surprised his story got changed a few times and later said it's not here. Oh boy I was so upset and said where is my ring??? He said home asked where do you leave and why did you take home, your workshop is here. He said lives in Prospect but didnt say why he took my ring home. At this time I demanded to have my ring and i wasn't convince with all his makeup stories and said will return tomorrow morning for my ring and he kept telling me not ready finally told him I don't care I want my ring and you insist on fixing it I didn't ask you. I returned next day for my ring and guess what??? I looked at my ringn and he said it's fixed!!! I told him who do you think you are it wasn't fixed properly nor cleaned as it was exactly the same colour when he offered to fix and clean, but he said he cleaned it. Now you tell me how is it possible I wouldn't go there ever again, very greedy and not honest and would not suggest anyone to go to shop.

I first visited verve Jewellers stanhope on 20/2/2022 where I had the pleasure of being served by Nazar , who went above and beyond to ensure a positive outcome and ultimately the product I was searching for. I had just come from visiting another Gregory Jewelers where my experience had been unsuccessful. Nazar was kind enough to take down my particulars and a detailed description of the pieces I was interested in, he said "leave it with me and I'll be in touch with you soon". As promised, within a couple of days nazar phoned me with the good news that he had sourced the earrings I wanted for my Mum. I arranged a date to come in and see Nazar and on 04/03/2022 I visited the boutique to view the earrings. Zazar is an asset to the verve Jewellers as he creates a welcoming, non intimidating environment for his clients. Because the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, one is more inclined to browse and make an exciting, luxury purchase. Zazar was very professional and friendly at the same time, confirming I was completely satisfied before finalizing my purchase. Zazar processed the transaction in a timely manner and presented me with the signature Verve Jewelers bag and ribbon. He wished me all the best and then walked me to the door, which was a personal touch I really appreciated. I walked out feeling so happy I'd found exactly what I was looking for. Been here a few times and always had a couple issues with them. Number one, it’s really odd how they don’t always have a set price on the items. Every time you ask for the price the staff has to quickly go and ask their ‘boss’ as if it’s all just made up on the spot? They aren’t clear with policies when you make a purchase, they don’t let you know if you can return the item or not. I went in to return something and the lady who was working there was not even slightly welcoming at all. She had very bad customer service skills, didn’t greet us well and even when addressing an issue with her, she gave us answers with a lot of unnecessary attitude. She then just said “just speak to the boss”. The boss said he won’t be able to refund, even though the receipt does not say that. He didn’t even let us know when it was purchased that the item won’t be able to be refunded. You need to ensure you’re letting all customers aware of the exact refund policy of the item they’re purchasing, don’t expect them to just know what it is without informing upon purchase. You also need to train your staff on how to serve customers and be at least somewhat welcoming and helpful. They don’t have those skills at all. This place does rip you off.

No customer loyalty.. after spending over $1500 in one week at this shop I stupidly put an item worth $1200 on lay-by with lots of persuasion from the manager. Which I was told was a one of a kind that he himself had made. He said I could leave $100 deposit, which I decided to put down $200. After arriving home I decided that although I really liked the item, at this stage it was a lot of money and wanted to cancel this lay-by. No even 24 hours later I asked my daughter to go to the store as I needed to go to work. I wanted to give the manager every opportunity to put the item back on the shelves to sell to someone else. I was aware I would loose my $200 deposit which I was willing because it was my mistake. He told my daughter that I would need to pay another $200 before I could cancel it. $400 for nothing. He said he had already ordered the item....hang on, it was a one of a kind? After then telling my daughter to come back on Thursday when the manager was in the store, he is the manager....after many back and forward phone calls I told my daughter to purchase the item and leave. I will NOT return to this shop. He has lost a loyal customer......

Not at all professional in fact they are not even genuine. I gave my diamond ring for a resize, the job was horribly done one of my diamonds fell off the very day. Instead of round the ring was shaped oval after resizing. The entire diamond setting was disturbed. I paid 100 dollars to have it resized. Most of their jewelry in the shop is not brand new. I would never recommend anyone to buy anything from there. Thank you for your response If you are that professional, please don’t call and harass me about my review like you just did this morning. I think you should reconsider the word ‘spam’ that you have used for me, I have all the evidence and I can proceed further legally, also your call was recorded. I did visit your shop and spoke to the person who fixed my ring, all I got was a very arrogant response. Professionalism is not calling customer and harassing, taunting them about the genuine reviews that are written to create public awareness of people like you sitting in shopping malls. Do rethink before threatening and calling me.

With every purchase, I make sure I know the product. For example, research prices and quality, ect. Today I was left ‘somewhat’ flabbergasted. I had found the ring I had been planning to purchase at the following jeweller: Now, customer service was quite OK. However, I was told the ring I wanted to purchase was $100.00 over the price you can get from the direct wholesaler. Owner/ manager ? stated, “you will not be able to buy that ring online and receive the goods before Christmas”. Accordingly, this was his rationale for the price increase. He finally agreed to sell the ring at the wholesale (Thomas Sabo) price after some bargaining, e.g letting him know I’ll happily wait until the product arrives in the mail at cost of saving $100.00 :/ Furthermore , I was quite disappointed I had to justify paying the price of the ring. Overall, the lady who was initially assisting me was great. I would just be mindful if you’re purchasing jewellery from Verve Jewellers and researching the price of the product beforehand.

Bought a very expensive necklace , broke within 24 hours. When returned upset and asked for a refund I was met with an angry man accusing me of intentionally breaking it. He told me he would try get a refund or a new one but did not. When I returned over a week later he handed me a new necklace of the same kind, I told Him I did not want it and after that I was met with a very aggressive and agitated man. My main concern before even buying the necklace is that it was super thin and delicate but was advised from said man that it was the finest quality and wouldn’t snap. 2nd necklace now and it has snapped within a week. I wfh. I don’t do anything else I have multiple other pieces of jewellery that have never broken. Worst customer service experience and a waste of $500. Don’t shop here

My watch fell and the back lid came off. I took it to them to put it back on and watch was in a perfect working order. They asked $15 just to clip on the backing. Seem too much but agreed to pay. Returned after 10 minutes to get it the jeweller wrecked my watch. Minute hand is now loose. Now they wanted to charge me more money to fix the damage they caused. Is it their tactic to rip the customers off and not owning up to their mistake. They told my watch was broken when I brought it in. I don’t recommend anyone to go there, they probably will try to find a way to take more money out of you by making your item faulty by intention.

I am a very happy customer. I had a very difficult pearl ring repair carried out perfectly. The cost was very fair and the owner went to great lengths to explain the procedure and what I could expect as an end result. I also had a pair of diamond earrings custom modified and the result was absolutely stunning. The owner, Zac, was very knowledgeable , professional and courteous and I would have no hesitation to recommend this jeweler to others.

Had a very upset wife who’s wedding and engagement rings were poorly resized, which were actually damaged by another jeweller and required a lot of work to repair, but the jeweller at verve did a fantastic job and has restored the rings to their original standard!
