The starter on my 2014 F150 went bad. I purchased the part online and planned to replace myself but realized I did not have the proper tools. I contacted Ken and brought the truck and part to Village Auto Care on 6/17/22. The repair was done promptly and I was charged $226.21. Upon leaving the shop, I immediately noticed a new ticking sound that was intermittent and worse when going uphill while accelerating. I brought the truck back to Village Auto Care on 6/20/22 and explained to Ken what was going on and my concern that maybe the starter I purchased and that they installed was bad. He contacted me a few hours later and told me that the tech diagnosed the problem as a warped flex plate and the repair estimate was $2,200.00. I told him that I was not ready to proceed with that repair and he charged me $226.21 for the 'diagnostic fee' when I picked the truck up. I still suspected the new starter as the cause so I ordered another starter and the proper tools to work in the tight space where the starter bolts are located. I replaced the starter and the ticking noise was gone. When I compared the new starter with the first starter I purchased, it was obvious that the first starter was the problem as the gear was freely moving back and forth. I contacted Ken to let him know that I had resolved the issue. I would have hoped the tech would have noticed the first starter I brought to them was defective but I understood paying for that work and have no problem with it. I did request out of good faith that Ken refund the diagnostic fee of $226.21 since the diagnosis was wrong and since they wanted to perform and bill me for an unnecessary $2,200 repair. Ken wanted me to leave the truck with them again which I am unwilling to do at this point. He requested that I bring the truck by when the tech is there to look at. I have been by 4 times and the tech is either not there, had an emergency, or was too busy to come out. The latest update from Ken is that he will call me. I really want to like and use this shop but I have lost all confidence due to the incorrect diagnosis, the attempt to perform and bill me for an expensive and unnecessary repair, and the lack of good faith in returning the diagnostic fee to me. I will update this review if Ken does contact me and if there are any further developments.

I brought in my car for an oil change and asked them to inspect the brakes. They had done an oil change and "inspection" six months prior, as well. Ken called and said the front brakes were not contacting the rotors and the rear brake pads were 1mm. Also, the parking brake motor would need to be replaced. $2100 was the estimate. I asked how the rear pads could have been fine six months before and was told that was because they inspected only the outer pads routinely and this time had looked at the inner pads. In any case, I took the car to the dealer and showed them the info from Village. They felt that this was largely incorrect. The rear pads were down to 2-3mm and there was some rust on the rotor. Total cost was $632. This followed an episode with our other, very old car. There was a sticky fluid all over the engine and a noise. Ken said it would be $3500 to fix an engine oil leak. We agreed that it was an old car and not worth fixing. I took it to the dealer (different dealer as different make of car) who found that it was actually transmission fluid leaking. $1000, and car was fixed. I am puzzled by these episodes and have to wonder about the quality of Ken's technicians that they have so misdiagnosed the issues. I always thought dealers would be more expensive--but in these two cases, they saved me a lot of money and hassle.

My friend's car got broken into today on the Ave. I called around to see if we could get some help vacuuming up some of the glass in the car. I spoke to Riley from Village AutoCare on the phone and he said that he could make time for us. When we got there it looked like they were already busy with customer cars, so the fact that they made some time to help us was really appreciated. The moment we walked into the shop we met Riley, he immediately came out and told us to not worry and he'd take care of the car. We later met Ken, who told us that it'd be about 30min. We spent about 30min walking around Uvillage and the moment we got back, Ken welcomed us with a smile. He said that the car was all cleaned up and no charge. I was surprised since they spent some time out of the busy day to help us!! When we went to the car, Riley cleaned up the passengers seat area and even taped the window for us! Ken and Riley, I want to thank you guys for helping us out with our car break in. You guys made yourselves available and just overall gave us a great experience. Thank you so much! We really appreciate it :) If you're in need of a good shop that has very affordable prices, check out this place! You won't be disapointed!

They saved the day for us! We had the family minivan all packed up for a long road trip vacation and were off on our way...only to find that we had a leak in one of our rear tires. So we scrambled to find a local tire shop that could help and stumbled upon Village AutoCare. We arrived at the shop and found the door locked...they weren't open that Saturday, despite what we saw online. However, Robert was at the front desk and came out to stop us before we drove away. He had been working extended days and they were short staffed and he apologized that they weren't able to operate that day...then he asked what we needed. I laid it out for him...he saw our plight and, without hesitation, told us to drive around back...he would take a look. To cut a long story short, about 30 minutes later we drove away with a fixed tire and a saved vacation. There was a moment in the middle where we thought we were completely stuck...the key we had didn't fit the wheel lock (what?!)...he managed to work through that issue quickly with some macgivering and an air hammer. After all he did for us, he even refused to let us pay him for his time. He was our hero that day and we'll be sure to come back for future work.

Call a week in advance to set up and appointment for a very simple and quick task. When arriving 5 minutes early for my appointment at 9am to simply rotate tires, they tell me it should be done before Noon. 3 hours for a 15min job that I have an appointment for at a specific time that I setup a week in advance so they could plan ahead for it? After waiting an hour they call to tell me they walked out to the parking lot to check the tread depth and don’t think I should rotate them because the tread depths are fine when that’s irrelevant because I’m rotating them based on my personal preference. Continue to wait an additional 1.5 hours and decide to call them, as I’m standing outside their shop, to get an explanation on how a 15min job takes 3 hours and how it’s still not done. Magically I watch them drop everything and start doing it right away. I always find it comical how that works. I’m usually not a Karen like this, but service like this is just unacceptable, especially coming from a background where outstanding client service and executing in a timely manner regarding appointments is always your #1 priority if you’re going to run a business of any sort.

I've been going to Ken for 3 years now, and I'll continue doing for as long as I can! So amazing and polite, I've never felt pressured to ever get work done on my car that was unneeded. During routine oil changes, he'd let me know of potential upcoming problems, but only really talk about them when it was time to finally address it. I'm always confident that I can leave my car with the team and never worry about some additional charge or service they'll try to sneak in. My car just recently ended up needing work done that I can't rightly afford, but when I asked Ken if he thought it was worth it (my folks and I had discussed it and thought it wasn't), he agreed that for the make and year of the car, further issues just outweighed the overall worth of the vehicle. It means so much that I can completely trust an auto shop to do what's in the best interest of the customer, and not their wallets. Thank you, Ken! When I get my next vehicle, you can bet I'll be a customer again.

I came here with a set of battery terminal connecters from a referral at my normal place, and I was immediately frustrated. I approached the man at the front desk and told him my issue and asked if he could help, he said he could for $80 dollars. I was shocked and said no thanks, I would go to my normal place or try to do it myself and the man at the counter told me to watch a youtube video and do it myself because it was pretty easy. Today, I went to the Grease Monkey down the road (where I normally go). They replaced them for free and it took all but 10 minutes to do it. (EDIT: wrapping the cables and anti-corrosion were included with the replacement. It is a brand new battery so I did not require a battery test. I stand by my next paragraph.) I don't know if the $80 is a normal price for something that took 10 minutes and am willing to reevaluate my review if so, but right now I feel slightly offended and like I was being taken advantage of.

My check engine light came on, went here and the owner said do a diagnostic test. We did that, it cost around 200. And then afterwards he said in order to fix my car, I need to replace my accerlerator and camshaft sensor, which was quoted to cost about 1500 and he said the replacement may not fix the problem; there is a possibility the engine had problem. I freaked out and thought I just needed to sell my car. Then I drove to an auto repair in Kent, got my car fixed for only 20 dollars because the two sensor wires needed to be switched and that turned the check engine light off. At first, I thought this shop would be good due to the good reviews but I was scammed. Be careful if you are a woman, this shop will take advantage of you since they assume you don't know anything about cars. It was a waste of time to go to this auto shop. Not knowledgable or professional, just want your money.

Update — I moved to Utah in May 2018. I still call Ken for his advice before I authorize my new mechanic to do work. I really meant it when I said they have my lifetime loyalty :) I've been going to Village AutoCare for 3 years now and they have been absolutely wonderful each time. Ken knows me personally. He has gone above and beyond in giving me advice when my Kia Rio needed repairs and offered advice when I was car shopping for 4 months. Upon purchase of my 2007 Honda CRV, it turns out there was a large amount of rust in the undercarriage. Ken and one of his mechanics Basir, helped me contact the dealership to have them fix the issue at no cost to me, which required a bunch of back and forth. Both Ken and Basir have my lifetime loyalty because of their professionalism, honesty and really making me feel like their top customer. They are the only folks I recommend.

I have been to this place twice now with my problematic car and these guys know what they are doing! To start, they are the nicest group of people I have ever met in Seattle, period. Especially Ken, he will be your friend and make you feel welcome, explaining every step of the way no matter how car-illiterate you are like me. I am not the person who maintains the car so often, and it becomes difficult to identify certain problems. But, however insensible I sound describing the problem to them, these masters of the craft gets it done, with reasons. There is no unnecessary replacement of brake pad, no forcible tire changes, they know what is of best interest to you. They filed paperwork for warranty I wasnt even aware of! So stop reading further reviews and bring your dang vehicle over here. Ken, Riley, and his staffs will get your wagon rolling in no time.

Village Autocare has our highest recommendation! We are thankful that Ken and his crack team of technicians are able to keep our 220,000-mile Tucson on the road. There is nothing better than good routine maintenance to keep these cars on the road and there is no better place for this than Village Autocare. While you wait for your repairs, be sure to check out Ken’s collection of UW sports, Seahawk and automotive memorabilia. Once you tour the museum, U Village is next door for you shopping & dining pleasure! Parents, if you have a kid off to school at the UW with a used set of wheels, you can count on Ken to take care of them as he is just down the street from the campus. Added bonus; Village Autocare probably has the best smelling bathroom that I have ever visited in an auto repair shop. It is almost like a mini spa experience; photo included!

  • Lisa Tollenaar

I do not know what happened with renae, but I had a totally different experience. These guys are 5 stars all the way!!! I have never spent 30 minutes on the phone with the owner of a business explaining what is happening with my car in plain terms. Bob took the time to explain what was happening with my car, what services would have prevented the problems and how to keep my car running as cost effectively as possible. Other places had just presented an enormous estimate with no explaination, ending up with me fixing whatever I had come in for and forgeting about the rest. That is of course, what got me to these guys in the first place. A friend recommended them to me, and I thank them every time I get in my car. Seriously, if you want quality service these guys are hands down THE BEST and affordable to boot!

  • Jillian Suleski

Ken and the team at Village AutoCare are fantastic! I took my Prius in because the heat and A/C stopped blowing. The dealership wanted a few hundred dollars just to diagnose it and then said whatever it was the repair would likely be $2k. I asked around and a good friend recommended Ken and is team, and I am SO glad! I gave them a ring and everything was so simple. I dropped my car off in the AM, and Ken called a few hours later to let me know what was wrong and how much it would be to fix (a fraction of the price that the dealership was quoting). My car was ready by late afternoon, and my heat and A/C work like a charm now! Ken was just so straightforward and pleasant to work with. I will be taking my car here for everything that comes up from now on. I wish I had gone to them much sooner!

  • Alex

I previously brought my car to a chain nearby to get the oil changed, as it is closer to my house, but this time I decided to price compare and found that Village Autocare quoted me a much better price. From the first time I called, their customer service was absolutely outstanding. Additionally, they did a very thorough checkup of my car, outlined with detailed notes all of their recommendations, but they never did a "hard sell", in comparison to many auto shops who may take advantage of the assumption that I am not familiar with car maintenance. They offered advice, told me the relative importance of all the outlined issues, and answered all my questions. Nicest team of people ever, absolutely stellar experience.

  • Christopher Lollini

I went to see these guys because my right front brake had been shuttering and screeching for a while. I knew it was bad and was expecting to pay around $500 for the repair. I called around 5pm the day before and Ken got me in first thing in the morning within 2hours the parts were ordered, arrived and installed. They also did a complimentary inspection of the rest of my car and since I plan on selling it soon they advised me against spending money on any of the additional service as I wouldn't get my money back. Extremely genuine and nice people not out to make a buck but to help people. Thanks Ken, Chris, and Ken for all your help! I will be back again and will be referring you regularly.

  • C Huber

1. I have had an ongoing problem that they have expressed no desire or capability to diagnose. 2. I dropped off my car with a request they do a *very specific piece of work*. At the end, they charged me 30% more than they quoted me (more than the state-mandated maximum - 10% - they're allowed to charge over their quote) as well as not even touching it for three weeks. 3. They also tried to charge me for diagnostic time, when A) they didn't do any diagnosis, B) I didn't ask for a diagnosis, I asked for *a specific piece of work to be done*. Before all their techs & general manager left, they were great. But now it's just the owner, and he's incompetent and a gouger. Avoid at all costs.

In his book Managing the Professional Services Firm, Harvard Business School professor David Maister says "Just as with my garage mechanic, when I find a professional service provider whom I trust, In whom I can have confidence, and who provides me peace of mind and reassurance, I will tend to remain with that provider." My best guess is that Maister is a customer at Village AutoCare. Ken, Riley and the rest of the team are the gold standard standard of professional service. They've gone above and beyond to make sure I understand what they're doing, provide excellent service and make car issues a breeze. This is the best auto shop in Seattle. Period.

  • Me Me

they tried to charge me $1,500 and to just fix a harmonic balancer on my ford focus zx4 because they wanna fix something else that's not need to be fixed , I was ready call a tow truck to tow my car and once they saw the tow truck coming and realized I'm taking it it to a different shop they ended up to reduce the price below 500 and they already made me pay 165 for diagnostic just because I'm taking my car out the shop . after they fixed my car , the next day I figured out my windshield wiper motor fuse blown out maybe because they want me to come back the fact they didn't get that much money from me . they are nothing but a rip off .

  • Mariah Clayton

Ken is honestly one of the kindest people I have ever encountered! He is always honest and straightforward about what is going on, and incredibly generous. We only ever take our car here because they take such good care of us and we know we would never ever be overcharged or encouraged to do work that wasn't needed. Owning a car and maintaining a car can be stressful and Ken and his team have made it so much easier on us. Best part: I visited once for a quick check up, came back months later and Ken remembered me and remembered my name!!!! I've gone back ever since. The little things really do matter :)

  • Jake Malone

Village AutoCare is exceptionally helpful and accommodating. I don't usually write reviews, but I had such a good experience, I want to make sure I write this out. I've taken a two cars here, and the first thing to note is that they will give you a DETAILED list of everything that is wrong with your car. However, they will also be clear about which things need to be taken care of immediately and which things can be dealt with later (depending on your budget and priorities). Really, this is the best case scenario for car owners that want to be informed about their car. Definitely recommend.

  • Matt Baclawski

Please head this warning, don't believe the 5 star reviews!! Went in for a simple thermostat problem, paid for two different Diagnostics, thermosts and a hose....($300+). Was told the car had more problems that it actually did. went into a REAL mechanic and was told the car didn't have any problems except two markings on the radiator indicating that it had been damaged INTENTIONALLY by tools. These jerks knew we had to leave town to get home asap and tried to make us pay for a new radiator and headgasket (3k+) that they purposefully broke. DO NOT TRUST THESE SHIFTY RATS

  • Jake O

Made an appointment to get winter tires mounted.. After leaving, I noticed they had mounted the tires backwards, and drove back only to be turned away until the next morning. Owner was apologetic but never offered a refund or discount for the mistake and my now almost 8 hours of waiting for tires (already on rims) to be mounted. When driving over 50 MPH the tires were not balanced and shook like crazy. Ended up just going to Firestone and getting it done right. Price at Firestone was only $60 vs $120 at village auto, and about an 1/8th of the wait time.

  • Scott Knackstedt

I cannot stress enough how positive my experience was with Village AutoCare. This, too, is my first time writing a google review - that's how much their service inspired me; I had to return the favor. Today was my first time visiting Village AutoCare, as my car had a flat tire. They got me in promptly and took care everything quickly and courteously, and said that I didn't need to worry about paying so long as I came back next time I needed anything. Very professional with a friendly, neighborhood feel, and I count on seeing them again when I need it.

  • Christianna Freitas

Ken and Riley made my week! I unexpectedly got a flat, and they were able to see my car that afternoon to assess the issue. They got me in the next morning and were refreshingly honest about the two routes they could take, with one method that would cost way less than replacing the tire(s)! Fast forward and they were able not only to fix it in under an hour with that method, and were so kind to not even charge me as they said it was a small repair. Seriously almost had me in happy tears and definitely will be returning for any future auto needs.

  • david albaugh

I found Village Auto Care about two years ago and can't believe I haven't written a review! This place is an automatic go to for any service. Ken Jones and his team are honest, efficient and just plain, nice guys. I just picked up my 2005 Subaru after an engine light came on and we discovered a rat made a nest in some wiring. Ken's guys fixed everything and the car was returned in fantastic driving and physical shape. Thanks guys, it's rare to find a place with amazing customer service, mechanics and genuinely good people.

  • Donna Mohr

While a long way from home (with my children in the car), part of my car was hanging down underneath, scraping the ground. Another garage down the road refused to help but Village Auto was happy to help me out. After our doctor's appointment at Children's Hospital, we came back and they reattached the part so that we could safely drive home on the highway. What a blessing! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone for their cheerful and caring staff. And they even refused payment, which was above and beyond in my book!

  • Wendy Campbell

I am so grateful for Ken and staff at Village Auto Care! My daughter’s car battery died at UW and Ken drove there with a fellow mechanic, jumped the car battery and drove the car back to the shop to fix it for her. While fixing the car battery they found a bulge in the tire and recommended the tire be replaced before my daughter was to drive her car three hours home. I feel blessed to know that my college daughter was in good hands and taken care of to make a safe drive home. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

  • Madeline Dawson

Could not recommend this place more! When I got my car, I chose Village AutoCare because I wanted a small, local place that would take good care of my car. I’m an early 20s female who knows absolutely nothing about cars. Probably couldn’t even point out an engine to you. Perfect target for an overpriced scam. Riley and his team are completely honest about what I need and don’t need, and always do an amazing job. One of my favorite small businesses to support.

  • Joseph Aufment

Many 5 Star reviews must be from family and friends. The service guys were really nice, but the guy at the desk misquoted our brake job to the point that we paid far more than was expected. I was told that I was quoted only one set of brakes and they had already installed both sets. Had to break the bank to get our car out. Would have been much less expensive at a chain. Again, nice people but they seem to use the University crowd as a cash crop.

  • O.W.N. Health & Strength

Ken and his staff are very helpful, very friendly, and always take care of whichever vehicle we bring in there promptly. They will never try to sell you anything you don't need, and they take the time to make sure your car is running optimally. I wish that I could tell everyone about how great Village Autocare is. I did my Christmas shopping while my car got work done! As long as I live in Seattle, I'll never need to take my car anywhere else.

  • Daniel Sullivan

Great service from these folks! I was treated professionally and attentively. Rudy and his Father are business gentlemen and it was such a great feeling to know true customer service still exists. I called to get help cleaning up broken glass from a car prowling incident and Rudy fit me right in and cleaned me up with no charge! I tried to pay them twice and both times, they wouldn’t accept. Give these guys your business!!!

  • Elizabeth Norton

I have been taking my car to Village Auto for 4 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Ken (Manager), is honest, kind and customer friendly. The team of mechanics are equally skillful. Ken has gone above and beyond for me. Most recently I took my car in because the battery light kept coming on. It was all fine and Ken did not charge me for 2 hours of testing. I cannot say enough about Vilage Auto Care. The best, hands down.

  • Corbin Louis

Village AutoCare and Ken are the most trustworthy and competent mechanics in North Seattle. I've brought my cars to Ken and Village Auto for 10 years. Mechanics can be hard to trust but for a decade this business has remained affordable, thorough and transparent with the needs of your car. Tell everyone you know to use Village AutoCare. They will provide you with hard work and respect.

  • Randall Franklund

When I had a flat and the studs were completely stripped Ken helped take care of everything. With his help I was able to get air into the tire and drive over to Village Auto Care. They were kind and I felt reassured that my car was in good hands. I was surprised that they were able to fit me into their schedule and after a couple of hours they had everything fixed like new.

  • Adam Maxwell

I always feel like I’m not getting ripped off and that they truly care. Am I right? Probably. I used to work as a service manager for Tires Plus so I can kinda sniff out those disreputable twerps tryin’ to upsell you on everything. I think the prices might be kind of high, especially when you factor in hanging out eating and drinking at u village while your car gets fixed.

  • Becky Rocha

I took In my car and he was honest about what type of work it needed. He said he would not invest the amount of money it needed for repairs. I had to drive it a long distance to get back home and he had me come back in before I left to make sure all the fluids were stopped off before I left on the road. I also took in a different car and he did a great job as well.

  • Amy Taylor

Love it here! Very family type atmosphere. They don't do work unless it actually needs to be done. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation, they saved me some money by observing that I didn't need a rotation until my next oil change. Very caring staff! This place was recommended to me by a friend, and I've recommended it to many others!

  • Greg Olson

We love bringing both of our cars into Village Auto Care. Unlike the dealers, Ken recognizes us (as well as our cars), values our business, and provides us with trustworthy maintenance advice and quality, affordable, service and repairs. We wouldn't go anywhere else. We'll go back and continue to recommend Village Auto Care to others.

  • Charlie Auster

While I cannot speak to the service, the customer service here is great! I have called on two separate occasions and came in person once and Ken was incredibly nice, flexible, and remembered me personally. Next time I require any auto service I would definitely strongly consider taking my vehicle here on the customer service alone.

  • Cory Ehrlicher

Their google hours clearly state they are open until 2 on Saturdays. I got there at 1 only to find the door locked and nobody there--essentially wasting a chunk of my Saturday. If you say you're open on google, PLEASE, just either be open during that time or change your hours on google so people don't waste time. Deeply annoying.

  • Jesse Kim

Almost always take my cars there. The most honest mechanic I've dealt with in my life. Ken is always happy to indulge me and explain what's wrong with my vehicle. Always good about letting me know if anything is coming up, but never pushes me into getting a service. He'll be honest with me if I can put it off until my next visit.

  • Colin Katagiri

I was doing an oil change on my '06 Outback and couldn't get the filter off with my own wrench, so I gave these guys a call. Steve and Eric lifted it and replaced the filter for me at no charge. Also let me know that my tie rods and a CV joint is F'd. Appreciate the help, tips, and honesty!

  • Tequila Logan

Ken was great! He has such a chipper personality and he was really flexible. I was initially suppose to have an appointment first thing in the morning, but had to push it a little further out. He was able to accommodate me. He also was able to fix my car same day! This place is awesome!

  • Ryan Fournier

Pulled up asking if I could get a quick burst of air to fill a tire. Was shouted at “NO” and told to go to oreillys. Is it really that hard to lend someone an air hose for 2 minutes. Even if you can’t do that, you don’t have to be so rude to someone nicely asking for an air hose.

  • Edding Pritchett

Love village auto care. They have been taking care of all our cars for years. They are honest and fix your car right the first time. Conan and Tom are excellent also. They are always friendly and happy to help. Take your cars here to this team and you and your cars will smile

  • Jim Burford

Village Auto Care has been my go-to shop for several years now. They do excellent work for a reasonable price, but, more importantly, Ken never makes me feel bad about how long I defer routine maintenance. He just smiles and deals with the results of my negligence.

  • Katie Cramer

My car was making a rattling sounds I thought it was coming from the right front wheel area. I stopped by without an appointment on a Saturday morning and they were able to help me out! They solved the tiny problem quickly and were so kind about it. Thank you!!

  • Frank Goess

They got everything I needed done fast and well, gave good preventive advice on stuff on my car, and they offer student discounts. They also went above and beyond when they lent me a piece of equipment I temporarily needed with no hassle. This place is great

  • Charlie Mac

I think Matt Baclawski's dissatisfied review 5 months ago is the exception, not the rule. ... I used to take our car to the dealership where we bought it, but I now take it to Village AutoCare because they are very straight forward and easy to work with.

  • Mitchell Vollger

Not a typical review, but long story short, I called a couple places looking for all season tires not knowing anything about cars, and this was the only place that let me know I already had good tires. Saved me a bunch of money and were very kind.

  • J. Szczesny

Been going to Ken and village auto care for many years. They service my fleet of commercial trucks. There is simply not a better service man.out there than Ken Jones. He is always ready to bend his back to get something done for me. Thanks ken.

  • Sierra Jorgensen

I had a great experience with village auto! My car was fixed fast - at affordable prices and I'm very happy to have it back! They did a great job of explaining the problem with my car and the different parts it needed. Very polite! Thank you !

  • David Howes

I've owned cars for forty years and have never encountered a more service oriented repir shop. The owner, Ken, has more than once demonstrated to me the high value he places on helping people and developing long lasting customer relationships.

  • Bobby Smyth

They deserve no stars They have no sense of time urgency. After making an appointment, they still hadn’t assessed my car after having it for an hour and a half. Time is money, and apparently since it isn’t theirs, they don’t mind wasting it.

I have used this auto shop for the past several years. Ken, the owner, is honest, helpful, and kind. He’s let me know that multiple cars I’ve owned are not worth the money to fix (bad transmission luck) and connected me with people who

Had a flat tire repaired pretty simple. I didn't have time before work to have it put on my car but ken helped me load it In my trunk and brought out towels to wipe my hands off. He was very helpful couldn't have asked for more.

TL;DR: Was severely overcharged ($400 for something that was $200 at several other auto shops). They seem to use their generally very positive ratings to their advantage by overcharging customers who don't know better.

Very friendly staff. They told me rats ate my wiring. I found a roll of electrical tape under my hood, sitting on the engine. I found wires pretty badly taped together with the tape. I still wonder if I got ripped off.

Strait up lied about fixing my A/C compressor in my 2003 focus and charged me for it anyways. Tried to scam my mother and straight up lied about the part being "discontinued" The owner is nice though.

Ken is honest and straight forward with you. He does the work I ask him about and he lets me know if my car needs more. But not without talking to me first. It is a great shop.

  • Alexander “lejandro” Arzumanov

Beware! I sent my son there a couple days after dealer's inspection for some secondary scheduled maintenance. These guys see a prey and go for a kill - created a
