Even though I have a washer and dryer in my building, they can't handle those large loads, which is where Village Laundry steps in to save the day. Admittedly, it can get busy but that's par for the course in a bustling city. It hasn't been a significant issue for me, and I've always been able to get my laundry done. So first of all this laundromat is open 24/7. I went there like 2am and it was exactly what I expected! Fully functioning washing machines and dryers, everywhere was neat! They have vending machines, T.V on, and they sell detergent which is very important. Not too crowdy, the prices for the washers and dryers are very reasonable, I was able to fit all the load I brought in, into 2 big washers for the cost of $11 dollars. I mean where do they do that at? Also you get to dry for free (once you wash there) and I used 12 dryers! That’s to tell you how much clothes I washed and fit in 2 washers! But what actually topped it off for me was the CUSTOMER SERVICE! There was a man on duty, he was so kind and helpful, he kept making sure we were good. I opened the washer at one point to put something in and I tried to restart it, but it didn’t come on, the man noticed my dilemma and he told me to use another machine and I didn’t have to pay again. Was shocked! This is my new laundry spot!

I like this laundromat because Victor and Guadalupe are very helpful and will assist you with getting your laundry bags to and from the car. Please tip them for generously helping you with that. They keep the laundrymat clean too. Those two men work hard. The washing machines are reasonably priced, and Village Laundry offers free dry if you wash there. If you run out of laundry detergent or softener, they sell them as well. It's easy to get change for the machines. Village laundry used to stay open 24/7 but due to Covid-19, last wash has to be in by 9:00 pm. I live on the Southside of Chicago and am willing to travel to their location because of the reasonable prices and the even better service of Victor and Guadalupe. You guys are there best.

This place has lots and lots and lots of dryers as well as lots of options for washers more importantly if you happen to show up by car the attendant comes out before you can even get out of the car to assist you with getting your goodies in as well as with getting them back out to the car and while you're inside is at the ready to provide change laundry bags detergent whatever you need I love this local neighborhood joint also bonus depending on the night of the week b i t e restaurant is right next door as is The Empty Bottle Bar so nibbles and Cocktails in between loads :-)

Their posted last wash time (9.30p) hours of operation (5a-10p) and contact number are spurious, irrefutably. Not only once, but twice I have been repulsed to the point of leaving without doing any laundry after discovering literal feces in their washers. The attendant turned me away at 9p after I walked 2 miles in a snowstorm, even after recognizing and acknowledging that I have been customer of theirs since at least 2014. I witnessed customers being locked out without rationale - effectively, robbed of their property.

when you get there it's nice to get help from the attending outside when you get to the parking lot for help that's great but as soon as you get inside it's like what the hell can I have a washer and I have a dryer. People are hogging up all the drives by putting one or two items in it what are you doing you're eating up your shoe your blanket you know other people have items they want to do too so condensed your loads so we can get going to...

I’m sure the people who work here are great, but the best service in the world can’t fix the mildewy smell, people frequently smoking right outside an open door so the smoke comes inside, people yelling at their kids, and the fact that it sometimes gets so busy you have to wait for a dryer. I’ve never tried the dry-cleaning so I can’t speak to that at all but the laundromat is a really unpleasant experience.

It's a laundromat, they keep it clean and do their best to keep the machines running. Free dryers are great, but you may have to power struggle with the other patrons to get dryer space because of that. Even so, it's more expensive for me to do laundry here than with our building's appliances, so I only come here when I have a truly extraordinary load of laundry or the apartment's machines are down.

Great, reliable local laundromat, with helpful, friendly staff. Not all the dryers work, so sometimes you waste time with a dryer that turns but doesn't heat up. But the washers work fine. Avoid busy times, since customers sometimes come with MASSIVE loads. But it's open 24/7.

No washer or dryer in apartment i live in. This is nearest laundry. Multiple price points in choosing washing machines and dryers are free. Personnel working are helpful with any questions you have. They keep place clean and always wipe down surfaces often.

Been coming here for awhile now, the jumbo washers are great and the free drying is very helpful. There is street & off-street parking and a change machine for quarters. Everything you need for laundry! Also, folks there are always super nice and helpful.

Dry cleaning prices are pretty outrageous. As a laundromat it's alright, their dryers have a maximum time setting of 10 minutes, which is really annoying to have to sit and wait around to reset the dryer every 10 minutes until your clothes are dry.

My husband and I come here every week. The owner and staff are super sweet and helpful. It’s clean and dryers are free. If you need soap, they have a little shop with reasonable prices and the prices for the vending machines are amazing.

It does not open 24hrs anymore. But the laundry attendants help carry your bags in and out. And the big machines use 1 dollar coins making it easier. Also drying is free if you wash there
