Village Park Location - 1A Park St, Mona Vale NSW 2103 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ✅Toilets (near the library) ✅Shade Sails (over part) ✅Tree Shade ✅Car parking ✅Bins Nearby ❌No Picnic Area near playground ❌ BBQs available ✅ Fully fenced playground , 1 entry gate. A old entry gate was bolted shut after safety concerns to the close proximity to car parking/road . Recently upgraded playground 2017 with a mix of play equipment for younger ages and abilities. Would recommend as a first playground due to smaller equipment , wouldn’t recommend for older children over 8 years old. Playground Equipment • Swing Set - Standard seat - Toddler bucket seat • Talking Pipes • Play car with steering wheels • Play hut house • Play bridge • Springer flower table • Springer wild boar • Musical xylophone • Junior Play Structure - stairs, small climbing wall, lots of wall games and moving parts, small metal slide • Play structure - Stairs, underneath cubby, moving wall games, rope ladders, rope tunnel crossing, cubby platforms, frog rock climbing wall, slanted climbing wall and metal slide. Inside the playground is a play and ground picnic space for children visiting, the playground is also surrounded by a wall , gardens and rocks.

It was a decent food festival. Food festival was in the form of stalls and trucks. Popular food from Chinese, Vietnamese, Brazil, Canadian, Holland, Lebanese, Italian, etc. were sold. Price was reasonable. Tables and chairs were arranged for having the food. The food festival was pet friendly, where most of the visitors brought their pets. The weather was pretty cold, but still there was a decent crowd. Waffles, ice creams, sponge candies, cookies were available for desserts. Ample garbage bins were placed at reachable distance. Paid fun park was setup for entertaining kids. Car parking was available outside the Village park. Overall the food festival was well organized. Despite the variety of food, the visitors were choosy.

Relaxing place for a walk and family time. Large areas for playing ball, catch and games such as cricket and net ball. An area with restaurants and other shops within the local precinct. There are also public toilets and wheel chair access is available. The scenery is lovely. It is a place to go to explore and enjoy while doing some shopping for the children and keeping them occupied.

Nice park and grass but the play facilities need an overhaul. Graffiti is an eyesore, piles of leaves and bird droppings don't help. Better off heading to Warriewood or Newport to keep the kids entertained. Plenty of facilities and services around, cafes, shops, etc. May be hard to get street parking in peak times.

A handy park right in the valley. Good for informal games or picnicking in the sun. Not much shade or amenities although there are toilets in the community centre next door and a kiddies play area as well. It can get a bit soggy when it rains.

Nice little walk along the coast from south Bondi going south. Very scenic with a number of small secluded beaches along the way. Cafes in abundance at various spots. If you want a serene ocean side walk and a latte, this will do it for you.

The only real green space in Mona Vale but it is surrounded by heavy loud polluting traffic. It is more interesting for what is next to it. Beach across the road, library and community hall and small shops, markets and restaurants.

  • Bo Jonak

This small kids park has been given an upgrade and is a fantastic place to go with little ones 5years and younger. Just around the corner from the library and across the road from shops and cafes.

Cute little playground. Loss of space to run around. There's also a tiny little track for smalls and their bikes/scooters.

  • Tanya Vanderkooi

Plenty of grassed areas, playground area, benches, walking ‍♀️/running track, and some artworks on some walls …

  • Brenda Eagles

Space to walk around but have to remain on the edge pushing a stroller or be prepared to push over uneven ground

  • Susan Duncan

Needs updated seating and the addition of shadecloths - pretty bleak really. Great cafe though.
